Just got Cool Lisa from the Friends prizes! Really looking forward to the next prize – KBBL – as I believe Stampy has some visual tasks there.
Such a shame Santa’s Little Helper has no visual tasks….at least not that I can see. I kinda wish he just roamed around like Snowball.
I had 10 donuts this morning. Completed the Railyard to get 5 more & had 15. Suddenly my internet cut out. When it logged back in a moment later I had lost my 5 donuts & Railyard was back at the beginning of it’s cycle. Boooo
I tried my hand at KEM farming for the first time over the last week. Didn’t do that well. Need to read Safi’s guide again methinks.
Got Francesca Terwilliger & Akira w/ Happy Sumo this week. Very happy with that. Will spend $30 this week to get little Terwilliger & Malloy.
I think that will be it for premium content for me for a while.
Santa isn’t real. Now that we have that out of the way (haha) I hate to break it to you, but Stampy’s tasks at KBBL aren’t visual. He just disappears into the radio station. No visual tasks for SLH is exactly why I haven’t bought him. If I did, I’d probably just let him roam around without giving him a job.

Is anyone else having a problem where the gondola won’t place in the right area around the museum, but only places in the middle of your town where it doesn’t do any good?

It has to be placed on water.
I can’t figure out how to place the buildings so they get the special brick under them next to the water but still able to touch the museum borders. Any suggestions?
I put the river halfway into the bonus are, so half in half out. The Grand Canal buildings then fit between the museum and river, with the gondola sitting in the middle of the river. Hope this helps.
Run a strip of water left to right along the bottom edge of your museum. Place one of the canal buildings so part of it is the bonus zone of the museum but also touching the edge of the water.
I am having problems with mine – the brick step doesn’t show on two of my grand canal buildings even if I put them next to / over water. I have three buildings. One works fine, the other is intermittent as to whether it shows a stone and the third never shows it. I think there might be a glitch so if you follow others’ suggestions and still don’t see it you’re not alone or necessarily doing something wrong.
Ok this might be a stupid question but is the Museum of Super Fine Arts the same building as the Springfield Palace of Super Fine Arts thats on The Simpsons and is the Old Cathedral the same building as the Cathedral of the downtown?
No they are not the same buildings. 🙁
There was a Springfield Museum of Fine Arts in the “Homer is Where the Art Isn’t” episode but it has a different design. I’m not sure on the where the Old Cathedral appears but it does look different to the Downtown Cathedral, however, it does look similar to the St. Beatles Cathedral from “Holidays of Future Passed” but without the Beatles and is less futuristic.
Started a 10 day cycle of kem farming, 25 donuts, have just made the initial 25 back after 2 days, this included 5 donuts from railyard, put 36 kems up every 4 hours to conserve my currently spend, think I might be doing something wrong, hardly worth the grind for little back, should I increase kem builds to maximise my payout?, on level 540, happy Sunday, happy tapping, hi MAB
What is your bonus? 2 to 400 percent roi is a little slow but long term pays off. Focus on the discounted characters and anything cheap with extra bonus and you will start to see the pay off. It will take you a number of months to work up. You will not see instant gratification from this process.
Yup I’m enjoying this ‘roll back glitch’ that means I can get grandma Simpson! Along w few other things noon carelessly but. Neat though it was just me. But didn’t want to update N mess it up. But was waiting on grandma to update but the mafia thing looks neat?
You need to spend your donuts on 6 donuts Mystery Boxes. They will increase your bonus. That in turn will increase your income and cut the cost of your next donuts (i.e the number of KEMs needed to level up). In less than a year you will glad you did.
There’s nothing more boring than a list of names….time is precious.

Enjoying the event so far but the past events glitch has hit my game and the character select icon is no longer working have contacted EA and after giving my details I received an email saying their specialists are looking into it, that was a few days ago though and I haven’t heard anything since.
So far I am liking the event, it is nice when you don’t need to spend tons of time. My time is increasingly in short supply as my political campaign is ramping up. I’m running for my state legislature in Utah. I’m not going to say anything more, except I’m a centrist who believes in practical solutions, not partisanship. Enough politics, I’m enjoying the early spring weather, and that Opening Day is this week. Go Dodgers!

I had the roll-back bug again and called EA support. EA is not rolling-back anymore. They told me the software team is creating a patch and to just wait for an email. I have been playing but it’s really painful.
It’s hard to trust EA support and just wait for the email.
Good afternoon. Has anyone ever received two or more bonus items (nuke, elder god, topiary …) on the same visit? The odds are low but I would think that it could happen unless EA prevents it. Today I again received a free nuke from the eliminator within 4 days in the same game.
Stupid daylight savings time. Tomorrow back to work in tbe dark. Maybe next month i will love the late spring evenings

I have a neighbor who always ZOOMS ahead. They have done so this time, finished Act I a day or two ago. My belief has been that they spent donuts -meh- but, I noticed that within the vicinity of their current Event area is a single Roman Aqueduct, 4 or 5 tiers high.
Given the context of this Event, it’s possible that this is an Act II or III
Prize???
Does anyone remember if something like this has been offered in the past? It will confirm whether this neighbor is a donuter or hacker.

I also zoomed ahead this time using donuts…not a hacker but definitely an insane RTTruck farmer. 😆 Was curious how many donuts it would take to eliminate the 4 hour grinds altogether and simply buy each prize.

Probably won’t be this extravagant again, but it was fun for a one time shot.
I do always shorten these events to one week per act (using donuts) and then take a break till the next act. Keeps me from wanting to send hate mail to EA. I’d never make it all the way thru the event in 4hr increments…not for 40 days and 40 nights⛈…I’d be building an Ark in my back yard after the first two weeks😜🤪😜.

TRACY – or farming lots of free ones. I have to confess to donutting my way thru the Badlands event. I really couldn’t stand it. Played til I got bored, then donutted to the next prize level. Worth every free donut for my sanity & life currency. I’d do it again too. I’ve been playing since Day 1 (spent lots of real cash too) & it’s the only event I’ve loathed. I’ve plenty of donuts so I wouldn’t hesitate to do it again. Btw, I always move/ hide the prizes far away from my play area/hub so I don’t spoil it for my neighbours. They would have to search really hard to find them. I’m conscious of ‘spoilers’ within my game. I have a hacker type / tester in my friend’s list. I keep them to see what’s coming up…..💜X

Hard to argue with the content available for this event. I’m really looking forward to the two literary characters coming in act 2. Space is an issue as I previously anticipated. I already have had to change my style of play by cutting down on my donut farming from 48 houses per cycle to 20 and not displaying all of the content available. I should really cut out donut farming altogether as I have plenty accumulated (enough to buy whatever is available) and should just resort to rat trap trucks when I need to but old habits are difficult to break. I will most likely still have to go back to previously designed areas and store some content too (not looking forward to this).

I’m not a fan of how EA has been doing event so lately, but I have to say I a man REALLY happy with the buildings for this one! Venice has a special place in my heart, my husband and I visited when I was (unknowingly!) pregnant with my first child and it was such an amazing place! I have some amazing memories from the trip and I can’t wait to create a “little Venice” 😍
the latest glitch is making me mad! haven’t been able to play for 2 days now and EA are being hopeless. sorry to be a downer folks…
oh, and and it’s the Rollback glitch, not the 30 second museum glitch… Zzzzzzzzzzzz
Anyone else having problems getting criminals? I’m getting very few if any. So, sorry to all my neighbors that are sending them to my town. I can’t return the favor just cause I’m not getting any. 🙁
I’ve only accumulated 13 since the beginning of the event, so I don’t think it is something you are doing. I’m a four times a day player, so I’m clearing the agents regularly. I don’t do many neighbour visits, so I am missing out on that possibility of criminals from that.

It’s definitely been much lower than past events with this type of thing. I usually only get a few each day although it seems like it maybe ticked up a bit the past couple of days.

Hey Mr, O(racle), i know it might be off Topic but i would like to know how many inhabitants are able to fly within Springfield….. or might be able to have a fly around job.
Anyone else have a bunch of old dialogue and hip deal pop up ? Only negative from that glitch , it rolled my tap radius back to 1 and I can’t clink the sim icon ..
A bug that has been happening. There is a post on this website about some possible fixes, but usually it means working with EA to correct.
Only thing you can do is get help from EA…they will roll back your game to before it started, so sooner is better than later.
Should I buy the Forbidden Grave before it leaves the vault?
Your choice, but if it is in the vault, it will return at some point, with the same discount. I wouldn’t classify buying it this week as an urgent to-do.
I agree, save your donuts for event items still to come. Vault items always return over and over.

I haven’t been able to get onto the new event, every time I open my game it says I have unlocked the museum but when I press “ok” the game freezes. EA’s response is they are “looking through into it.” Any suggestions as to how I can get on?
Make sure you have a large enough piece of empty space to place the museum…it has a huge footprint. The game is searching for a space to place it, and when it doesn’t find one, it freezes.

My weather app seems to be a little confused today… According to it we were supposed to be around 30° but if it made it into the mid-20s I would be impressed. Tomorrow is supposed to be 34° but I’m not holding my breath. However, you cannot trust the weather in this town at all because it truly is possible to have 4 seasons in 1 day so maybe it will get up there… Right now it’s down to 18° and overcast so I’m hoping some rain is in the way. Yesterday I was doing some more rearranging (of my plants this time) but then some very dark clouds came over and some heavy drops started falling to I quickly retreated to the comfort zone of my lounge ready for a lovely storm and…nothing! It just disappeared but I’m hoping maybe it saw my rain dance and went to fall in the catchment area instead 😄😄😄
Finally got round to testing if my oven actually works by making a lemon meringue pie. And it seems that it does. Sort of… The fan didn’t work so I’ll have to have that checked out so the meringue isn’t as crisp as some would like (or the temp wasn’t quite high enough) but I love chewy meringue so I’ll be fine. If it still tastes good I’ll give some to neighbours & friends but if it’s not 100% I get to eat the whole thing myself – should last me a day or two 😂😂😂 But in the meantime it works well enough for me to do ribs for supper tonight 😄
Enjoying the event and some of the crafting items have great design potential – if I ever get round to that. I know it’s the standard 4 hour system but it actually works quite well when I’m at work so I’m ok with it. But I’m not so happy with how slowly I’m collecting crooks to drop with neighbours! I will try and drop at least one with every neighbour during the event but my town was overflowing with cops this morning but I only got 1 crook! At this rate I won’t even get to all my neighbours but I am trying. And I do try very hard to find any dropped in my town but if I don’t it might be a time zone thing or I just couldn’t find it – sorry 😊

Heya, so, are there any more quests for the Old Cathedral after the 4 hour tasks? If so, what is the requirement, and can we unlock the pope by any chance?
He’s not available yet, but I believe he’s going to cost ya 150 doughnuts.
I don’t think there is another quest at the cathedral after the tasks but there is a permanent 4 hour task for Reverend Lovejoy there but I don’t know if there are other tasks here since I just unlocked it today.

After that, chuckling that the Nascar race in Martinsville is postponed due to snow. As a Toronto based Canadian that hasn’t seen any accumulation in the past month worth mentioning, this is amusing.
Event is going well for me. I like the opportunity to increase my character count, even if they only had small roles in the whole Simpson universe. I only have a small role in the universe we live in, so it is all even up!
