So let’s break down the details of this latest offer and determine if you should spend your donuts to reunite the Wiggum family….
So when you first get into Springfield you’ll see Gil waving his arms around…just begging you to tap on him…
If you tap on him you’ll see…
Gil: Ol’ Gil’s luck is turning around. Larry Kidkill is reopening the zoo. I’ll betcha baboons to beluga whales I can sell him the Aquarium. You can’t have a zoo without Ol’ Gil or fish gills!
At which point you’ll see his latest gimmick…

Gil: Not taking the bait? I’m the one on the hook, line, and sinker this time. Ol’ Gil’s going to be sleeping with the fishes for real.

Gil: I may have been washed up, but my aquarium critters don’t have to be! We’re all having sushi tonight!

I know she’s insanely priced, but it’s Sarah Wiggum. You should buy her. You can take your chances and see if she comes back at a discount down the road, but why wait? We’ve waited 6 years for her to join the game, she’s finally here…just pick her up.
Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as a premium player, I’ve got her. Price is steep, but it’s Sarah Wiggum. Had to get her. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

I grabbed it. I looked at the character collections at the start of the event and decided the two I HAD to have were Allison and Sarah, so I’ve planned my spending accordingly. I farm, but I only get about a dozen donuts a day at most, so 300 takes a while to get to and there aren’t many I would justify the price on. Skipped the Springfield Jobs one. Got Scratchy. Ralph needs his momma.
All of that said, the aquarium? Disappointing. It’s too small compared to literally everything else for our zoo, and realistically, it’s one small section of somewhere like the Vancouver Aquarium. The entire aquarium is an outdoor show area? At a fraction of the size of the one in KL? It makes no sense. There’s not even a section of the building that would imply indoor areas.
I got her. Now I’m waiting for the Three Eyed Whale!

Dear EA. I’ve been lovingly playing this game for just about 6 years. You’ve let me accrue over $350,000,000 in money but don’t let me buy anything worthwhile with the money. I get bucks from Krustyland, but my Krustyland is full, and I can’t expand the log run or roller coaster because the pieces are gone. Springfield Heights was abandoned after the initial ground was bought and can’t be expanded any longer. You used to let me buy land with money, now I’m grinding to get a land token here and there. The zoo is great, where am I supposed to put all of the pieces without the land tokens to expand it? You limit me in inventory, but don’t let me delete anything I no longer want I LOVE this game, why not make it user friendly again?
Buy RTTs with in game cash, sell them back, gain xp towards donuts.

No OUTSIDE Animated 4hr task!!!! what?!?!?! even if I take 8hrs to tap I like the 4hr outside animated tasks.. Most characters now use the Swilderado or OverpaySTAY on the beach and they are indoor jobs… still got the “deal” but not so happy to the lack of visual 4hr task… What they really need is a “deal” for land pieces, it’s annoying not having enough pieces to get the land needed for “decorating” plans, even if it is half arsed decorating due to limits… sorry for the rant… thanks for the info Alissa.
I love how some complain there are only 4hr visual tasks and others complain when there aren’t 4hr visual tasks…

Agnes has 16-hr task which I like, and so does Cookie Kwan since I love watching Dr. Lenny’s Lab animate.
I’ve got some characters on their 8-hr tasks regularly, so 16 isn’t a problem.
When I was still in University I would send the few that had 16hr tasks on them before I went to bed at night so I didn’t have to worry about tapping until I was home from campus (I used to design my schedule so I was home by 4. 30 minute walks from the bus in an area mostly devoid of sidewalks and in some places even a proper shoulder, should be avoided in the dark.) If only 16hrs was an option in the unemployment office.
Happy with Sarah, not so happy with the Aquarium. It would have justified the price more if the Aquarium was better.

I did it. 🍩👋🍩👋🍩 Rat trap trucks plus the 300 donut deal helped justify it…..kinda. Really can’t stand all the newer characters we get….free or earned. Happy to have a more nostalgic mom. Same goes for the Scratchy deal. Not forseeing anyone else I’d give up my donuts for in the near future though…….

Im actually kinda stingy. I let my in game cash accumulate to $125-130,000,000. Then i buy/sell back the trucks…with my collider on. I only buy enough to leave me at $100,000,000. Im very anal about going under that amt. Lol. Irs silly but It took me so long to get there! Lol. My bonus thing is only about 308%. I don’t really care. Its just cool to get some extra donuts….when bills and kids don’t always allow the donut purchase splurge. Lol 😀
How long does it take to gather that much money?
I quit buying stuff…cuz, well, there wasnt much left to really buy….in my opinion. It just accumulates. Call me Scrooge McDuck! Lol. Ive been playing since about the end of the tap ball event…3 yrs i think?
And I thought I was rocking at 3 million dollars in game cash. I’ve been playing since the beginning and still haven’t figured out how you guys accumulate so much in game cash.
High bonus % and 200+ characters (they make lots more cash than buildings) makes your income multiply much quicker. At a certain point, I had over 1000% bonus and was bringing in between 5 to 7 million cash a day. After rebuilding my town, I’ve leveled out at around 700% bonus, and bring in between 1 to 2 million a day…plenty for RTT farming.
I have over 200 characters.. but my bonus is only (only? 🤔) at 553%. I thought that was pretty good.. but guess not.
Actually, that’s a really good bonus…how much cash would you say you’re bringing in a day? Should be about 1/2 to 3/4 million?
HiDeHo, I bought houses, lots of them. Solid them, bought more, more expensive. Worked threw till orange houses, but you have to collect several times a day. Buy what you need, save till it hurts. It will eventually build up. The key is to buy what you need. Keep on tapping….

I mean it depends on how you view things and the show. People lost their minds over Bleeding gums Murphy and he’s not as central to Springfield as Sarah.
Neither are particularly central, but Bleeding Gums has more memorable moments and had a bigger impact on core character development. I bought both.

From my point of view he’s more central than Sarah. He is quite important for Lisa’s storyline (or development or however to call that) and she’s a Simpson, the show’s not call The Wiggums after all 🙂
But I bought both of them the minute they showed up :).
There was a time when I showed preferential treatment to female characters showing up in our stores, because I felt a lack of them in my Springfield. By preferential treatment I mean that I was more relaxed regarding the price (=wouldnt have bought a comparable deal with a male character for that price). Sarah is probably one of few female recurring characters that was missing from our game.

Instant buy for me, but that Aquarium is ridiculously tiny. Makes it harder to design around it. I wanted to put the squid and sailor next to it but the squid looks as tall as the building! I made the purchase to get Sarah Wiggum, though, not the Aquarium. What characters are left that aren’t in the game that you think EA could justify with a 300 donut price like they have with Scratchy and Sarah?
They did it for the Calabresi duo so…anybody.
EA’s doing the justifying to offer, we just do the justifying to buy.
I forgot about the Calabresi deal. I can’t imagine many people made that purchase, especially compared to Sarah and Scratchy. I can’t think of any characters that are missing from the game that lots people would get excited for and purchase despite a 300 donut price tag, like we’ve seen with Sarah and Scratchy.

I have been waiting for this character. But like so many recently, she’s attached to a building that makes no sense as a combo and I have no interest in. 300d!? I’m tired of being punished bc I have no time or interest in farming. I treat myself to donuts every so often. I love this game, but EA is making it very hard for me to keep playing. Ill be waiting to see if Sarah comes back around on a deal.
I can appreciate your position. Without any farming, 300 Donuts is likely to run you $15+ for this combo. When you look at it like that, it does seem a bit outrageous.
Stupidly over priced. The hardest pass of any pass ever. Donut farmers hurt the rest of us again.

Well, the donuts+charcter/skin combo are bigger result of KEM farming (though I dont think the blame is entirely on KEM farmers, after all it was EA who enabled it…) Prices of premium items are raising and Gil’s deals had to go with it…
HiDeHo, got to agree there, way over priced. Even though I’ve the sprinkles, I can’t justify it. The aquarium breaks the deal for me. I’d have to hide it behind something in Heights, which I’ve no spare room for. From just another farmer. YeHa….
I’ll wait for her to return at a deep discount in a mystery box next year.
And if she doesn’t, then like Alissa said, I’ve lived without her in my Springfield for years so oh well. Same with Scratchy. There are still way too many reasonably priced characters I don’t have yet.
It was an instant buy for me. Why? Because we had been asking for her for months…and I had saved enough farmed donuts to buy her. For me, it was an easy choice…and the 300 donuts didn’t bother me at all. After all…I have passed on a bunch of the random characters offered at 150 donuts…so one that actually shows up in all sorts of episodes was an easy decision.
Plus…let’s be honest. They could have stuck her with a forced CASH buy, But instead, they made that one something I really didn’t care about at all. Butterfly Maggie? Come on. What were they thinking?

Despite the price, I jumped on this – I doubt I was alone there. I am, however, surprised at EA’s decision to dwarf the Aquarium like Duff Stadium or Springfield Coliseum, particularly in an Event with abundant oversized content like the signs. I would personally prefer better consistency as it makes for better appearances when arranging Items next to one another.
P.S. 66th straight Character/Costume since the last 24-hour animated/visual Job (Buddha)…
..but an ultra-rare 12-hour one is included.
I am really happy that she doesn’t have the 4 and 8 hour visuals like recent characters. There’s not many characters with 8 and 12 hour visuals in the game compared to ones with 1 and 4 hour & 4 and 8 hour visuals.
I will admit that I’m not a fan of the price of the combo, but I’ve felt sorry for poor Ralph and not having his mom for so many years. I’ve been saving for her since I heard that she will be visiting this event.
Never thought Sarah Wiggum was a must buy. I don’t know what all the fuss is about. 300 donuts, NO WAY! Just not worth it in my opinion. A little context; I bought Scratchy for 300 donuts, but I’ll pass on Sarah.

Too pricey for me. I’ll wait until a mystery box or maybe Black Friday deal to try and grab the combo. I’ve never paid 300 donuts for anything in the game. I’m not a donut farmer or spend real cash for donuts, so I’m frugal with my sprinkles. To all those who’ve waited so long and now gotten her, enjoy.
Want to buy her so badly but there’s almost no way il get the donuts in time I’m 60 short and I only just starting KEMing recently so my returns are not great yet 😭
I got it. The aquarium is tiny. I thought I could combine it with the ocean world sign, or whatever it is, we got but that is huge.
The chimp sanctuary is really small too. If you look at the chimps in that compared to the animals in the zoo you can see the scale is all over the place. It’s annoying.
I’m happy that the buildings all have smaller footprints…land is more rare than donuts these days, so huge buildings are a problem. And it fits inside my current aquarium(on Squiddy tiles) just fine, so it’s a win/win for me.😁

I was thinking the same, it is slightly smaller compared to other similar items so a bit annoying. Many items which are over or under sized end up in my inventory so I’m worried about being able to place this successfully. I think it’s my OCD talking though! Oh well at leave Sarah is normal size 😃

I just can’t do it. I have been playing since the beginning, I have played every event, I recently started to kem farm, I currently have a surplus of donuts and a really nice bonus percentage but I just can’t pay 300 for a combo! 200 is my absolute max and it has to be something I really really want and have been waiting for. I am at the point that any combo 150 or less seems to be purchased by the end on an event weather I remember the character or not. 300 is just too high for any one character.
If your a KEM farmer i think it’s a no brainer. 60 donuts from EA plus it will help earns event currency so..
3 mystery box characters or Mrs Wiggum… Sadly it’s not a difficult one with the price point EA has chosen – mystery box here I come

Is her 8 hour task a joint task with Ralph? I’m guessing not since it’s paying out as a single person task but I like to be sure when it comes to characters having full task lists,. Especially the pricey premium ones. Thanks in advance!
Yes, the 8 hour task is a joint task with Ralph. Other than Chez Guevara giving the adults 8 hour tasks she doesn’t have her own solo 8 hour task like The Parson and Sexy Pirate.
