Looks like Gil’s back in Springfield. He returned to Springfield this morning, naturally with another ‘deal” for us. What’s the latest gimmick he’s peddling? Well this time around he’s finally bringing a Springfield mom we’ve been asking for YEARS for…Sarah Wiggum!
So let’s break down the details of this latest offer and determine if you should spend your donuts to reunite the Wiggum family….
So when you first get into Springfield you’ll see Gil waving his arms around…just begging you to tap on him…
If you tap on him you’ll see…
Gil: Ol’ Gil’s luck is turning around. Larry Kidkill is reopening the zoo. I’ll betcha baboons to beluga whales I can sell him the Aquarium. You can’t have a zoo without Ol’ Gil or fish gills!
At which point you’ll see his latest gimmick…
If you refuse…
Gil: Not taking the bait? I’m the one on the hook, line, and sinker this time. Ol’ Gil’s going to be sleeping with the fishes for real.
If you accept…
Gil: I may have been washed up, but my aquarium critters don’t have to be! We’re all having sushi tonight!

Premium or Freemium:
I know she’s insanely priced, but it’s Sarah Wiggum. You should buy her. You can take your chances and see if she comes back at a discount down the road, but why wait? We’ve waited 6 years for her to join the game, she’s finally here…just pick her up.
Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as a premium player, I’ve got her. Price is steep, but it’s Sarah Wiggum. Had to get her. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

Why?
1. Outdoor tasks are 12h one and 8hr joint task. I don’t mind joint tasks but not for 4h and 8h.
2. Aquarium is weird and not very attractive.
3. With incoming Halloween and chris… Winter events I’d rather not splash 300 on one character that doesn’t impress me.
Definitely picked up Sarah, very expensive especially as the aquarium isn’t a great building with its scale and look but still got her

When I knew that “Pop n’ Fresh was going to be offered I knew I would have to have her. It’s so nice to see the Wiggams together doing wholesome family things. I love that she gives Ralph his signature hairstyle.
Don’t think I’ll bother with this, even though I want her. I really don’t like the combo items, especially when the buildings are big and pointless. I’d have happily paid the donuts for her alone, but the building is fugly and I’d have to keep it on display, like the stadium thing for rocker Maggie and the rehab centre or Bleeding Gums.
If it helps, the aquarium can be placed on the boardwalk, so it’s easy to put it way out to sea, which is what I did.
It’s Sarah Wiggum…I bought her immediately!

I agree living Maude should be top priority now. I don’t even have ghost Maude yet.
Total pass for me. She will reappear sooner or later, they always do. I witnessed getting Barney for 80 donuts if I am not mistaken with austronaut skin and all, as one of the deals… I am not in a hurry. I just love those deals! Currently aiming at emptying the 100 donuts mystery box and anticipating the contents in the next mystery box!

Speaking of which, any idea of what might be in the mystery box due to hit after SW leaves the store?
No idea whatsoever… hopefully some characters at the price point lower than the current. One can only hope…
2 reasons I’m passing on this, aside from the price:
1. Despite having lots of donuts, I’d rather spend them currently on upcoming Halloween/Xmas, the best times of the year
2. I don’t like joint tasks. Period. They are annoying to send out, and take out the possibility of extra money made with a premium skin from Ralph

a little “event currency” trick I discovered for those who actually purchased Sarah. If you’re running through her inquest line now, when you get to the task “Make Wiggum Family Go to the Aquarium”, don’t send Sarah, just Ralph & Clancy as they will earn event currency & continue to until Sarah completes the task. it adds an extra 2 characters that aren’t usually available to volunteer.

You don’t need Sarah to complete quest. Any three trips will complete it.
True, but for the last step of this questline (going home stuff) when the three have jobs to do and Ralph’s is only for cash, you can keep sending Chief Wiggum on his (something about going home proud) and not do Sarah’s or Ralph’s! At least one extra event currency earner is better than none!

I don’t feel any particular need to have Sarah wiggum. I did pick up scratchy for the 300 donuts. But you know, i think the more we give in and pay the crazy prices for characters, the more EA will charge. So i passed on Sarah wiggum. Snatched up Atlantis instead. I love that building. It’s adorable.
Wish I hadn’t bought her! I was on the fence, but as I had loads of donuts I went for it. The problem is the aquarium. For 300 donuts you’d expect a bit more time to be spent on the design. Where can you place it for it to look good, it can’t go with anything else, from this event or other. Not even Ralph, crawling, could fit through those doors.
Bought her right away. I LOVE her! Love her tasks. Yeah, she was pricey, and I doubt I would have paid that much for any other character.. but c’mon, she’s Sarah Wiggum. She’s awesome. As for the aquarium? Meh. I placed it on my Squidport. It’s horribly off scale.
Got her by farming bloodmobiles. Without farming, probably couldn’t have done it.
I got it and placed the aquarium next to Pink Beards Yogurt. The size mismatch is both amusing and frustrating. I don’t know what the programmers are smoking when it comes to making sure these buildings at least seem similarly sized…

Deal! My only gripes are she is not voiced (that complaint extends to many Characters offered over the years in TSTO) and 300 sprinkles is higher then the norm (but EA gave us free 60 Donuts, so technically that’s 240)! 🤷🏼♂️
I actually prefer Springfield Aquarium vs the 3rd Prize in Act 2, because it’s a smaller Building with a permanent task for Chief Wiggum (Sarah Wiggum does comes a Task that takes place in the Brown House, when it should be at the Wiggum House – very sloppy EA!)
I would not be surprised if the vote on this is even – longtime Tappers have waited years for this Character and will pay whatever, Noobs are used to waiting for a return later at Discount (I don’t blame anyone if they choose this route, I’m guilty half the time).
I’m shocked at the poll numbers. How can you NOT get Sarah Wiggum? (unless- of course- you don’t have the donuts for the deal).

I lucked out on the donut deal and got the 2600 for $20 so it’s almost a sin to not buy.
Any thoughts on how soon she might reappear in the store (discount or not)? 6 months in a mystery box? Cash, err uh, donut flow is the determinant as to whether to buy now or wait.
No clue. Could be a while, or it could be Thanksgiving. You never know.
I had to think about this one for a few days. I finally caved today. I’m disappointed with the size, however, I wanted additional water themed items for my aquarium on my squidport.
Like I stated in the open forum, I’m passing on Mrs Wiggum, as much as I’d like to have her in my town. I see 400 donut prices within a year unless people stop buying at a certain price. I think if prices continue to rise the game is only going to be played by donut farmers and freemium players. If you pay cash it’s going to be hard to justify continuing. And once the cash players leave, there goes the whole game. EA will not continue to upgrade and support the game without a revenue stream.

People complaining that us donut farmers have hiked up the prices.
Let’s be honest… at some point I realised that having loads of houses and increasing my currency potential was obviously the way to go. Then I read about farming and thought I couldn’t be bothered. Then I read the post on it that’s in the files and changed my opinion.
Now I don’t have to slog away when I’m away in my caravan… i can enjoy playing the game just twice or 3 times a day cos I can blow donuts to catch up.
If I farm my 160 KEM’s with my 1100% bonus and the multiplier on I can make 50+ donuts at a time.
And this event is excellent. I’m loving the crafted lion rocks and river bits… When the event is over these can be incorporated into my rocky wild country area.
