We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

VERY frustrating that Sky Finger Monument doesn’t clear characters. I clear 99% of my building income by tapping my characters. Doesn’t even pay to use it! Wish they would change it so that it cleared EVERYTHING!
Look. Stop whining. It looks funny. It clears buildings once a day…and you are exaggerating when you say that 99% of your buildings are cleared when you clear your characters. Just try to keep a little perspective in life…ya?
I must say I wish my only complaint in life was something related to a game. I try to just be thankful for this amazing game they’ve given us, flaws in all. I’ve been complaining about my UFO that circled my ray gun that went away, but I’m not really upset. This game is an escape for me from a very pressure-filled job and I encourage you to look on the bright side. We have a great game, a great community to share our experiences with, and yes, there will be things we wish were different, but in the end, EA provides a great way to enjoy our favorite yellow family free of charge (if you want to play that way). Turn that frown, upside down and go have a beer at Moe’s!
How lucky for you. I can earn a donut or two with the sky finger. I guess it all depends on one’s design.

Just wondering if there is any way to get rid of items that can’t be sold. I have thousands of items by releasing my beasts (Crawl etc) and I can’t delete them. Am I missing something?

The Yearbook Mystery Box remains in the Premium section. Now if only EA would do a bulk search of games with Blackbeard and make sure they all have ghost ships.
My wish granted? It took a while but the ship appeared in inventory.
Patch released today correct the backlog issues with questlines. (including giving out the air ship)

No flowers in bloom in my yard yet (Maryland), but the daffodils are trying. Here’s to EA giving us some new flowers and trees for spring 🤞🌼🌳

Our daffodils are insane…they bloom every year right after the first cold snap (usually around new years) and are long gone by spring. Stupid flowers! Our amaryllis are just starting to bloom, so we should have quite a show in around a week. 😁🌷🌷🌷

Just picked Black Beard in my anonymous game, no Ghost ship.
I love getting all these new characters into my game but there have been so many “send springfielders” or send adults or send children tasks that are awful and make the unemployment office less useable and makes quests less fun

Hmm – picked up the Mexican Duffman bundle in the yearbook – already had Duffman & brewery, so it appeared to be “just” the Lady Duffman skin and Mexican Duffman.
But no Mexican Duffman has arrived!? Tried storing/replacing the brewery but nada. Oh well. Anyone had similar?
There’s been a couple of emails I’ve had to send to eat. I bought the northern Irish leprechaun in the yearbook and he was roaming around fine in my town. Them I bought the pride of Ulster banner and the leprechaun is gone. Even I go to store the banner it says it’s the northern Irish leprechaun that I’m trying to store. Had the airship issue and they gave it to me when I emailed that I couldn’t do Blackbeard quest. I have about 50 items left in the box. I am heading them all so I just randomly buy them. After each one I look up the item in the wiki too learn all about it when it was first released etc. As someone who just started playing in September 2018 I now feel like I’ve been here since the beginning researching each event and promotion as they were released. Not the same as experiencing in real time but this past week and a half had been an amazing experience. Love this game ❤️ addicts live and the time and commitment of so many players Alissa Patric Safi and just this community. Thanks for this new way to enjoy the game just kind of playing and doing tsto in a community

I got this bundle, Mexican Duffman skin appeared in my storage under characters but not until bit later after I started the Lady Duffman Questline.

Due to the initial glitches with the finger statue (especially w no land tokens being stored in inventory even though the statue cleared it) I have it stored. Have any of the recent updates fixed the finger statue glitches?
I want to pull it out of inventory and use it, but don’t want to lose land tokens.
I never saw the issue on my iPad. Last week I kept careful track of my land tiles and everything seems ok. I have been using it since day 1 and haven’t seen any issues.
Maybe on some slower devices a queue overflows while collecting income and the excess that spills out gets dropped?
The recent updates fixed glitch for me I’m getting my income and Land Tiles as normal again.
Still zoomed in and unable to place new items. I do hope the problem is fixed soon.

So just to clarify… the thing (building, I think) that generated extra land tiles is *not* in the Yearbook Mystery Box?

I received Giuseppe in the mystery box but nothing seems to trigger his questline. Help!!

Yep, I tried that. Nothing.
I got him too and also did not get a questline, but all of his jobs are not locked. I can live with that, I hate questlines!
That’s a bummer. He’s now the second character I got from the mystery box who is supposed to have a questline but didn’t. The other is Little Helper Ralph, whose questline I cannot complete because the toy workshop didn’t come with him. Needless to say I’m not really happy with what I’ve gotten from the mystery box (the rest were decorations).
The only good thing I got was The Stonecutter Lodge, and that questline was really short.
You could try contacting EA by email or phone on both issues as a last resort.
Oh I did that, to no avail. They wouldn’t give me the toy workshop, and in fact they linked me to TSTO Addict’s page on how the mystery box works. 😕

I got Little Helper Ralph from the Yearbook Mystery Box. Initially I got hung up on the Jam the Assembly Line quest. Since that wasn’t working, I put him into his Christmas Tree skin. After those tasks were done, I put him back into his Helper Skin and was able to send him on the Jam task. He went to the single brown house I keep out.
Maybe this will work for others having issues. If not, I guess I got lucky.
It was fixed with the patch released today. Just coincidence that the patch came down when you switched him back to Little Helper Ralph.

Yes, but that’s not the questline.
I didn’t get a questline for Giuseppe, but I see that all of his stand alone tasks are available, so I’m not too worried about the original quests that would typically unlock those.
That’s great but the fun of a new character is the questline.
Hey guys, I’m having a problem with KEM farming. The game is charging me $ 14.400 for any KEM (I sold all, I only have the original one). Someone having the same problem? Any thoughts?
This is a very common user error. You’ve accidentally stored some KEM’s instead of selling them back. Check your inventory. There are definitely some in there.

Good news for designers…the app “AutoStitch” for ios is now actually working correctly. I was able to take 4 screen shots and stitch them together seamlessly into a square. Have also gotten three shots to work lengthwise for a panorama. Didn’t have much luck stitching 2 of the three-shot panoramas together, tho…it started the project, but was unable to complete the picture. No luck with six single shots either.
I tried this app a year ago, and it worked at first and then just crashed whenever I pulled it up…seems they may have worked out the bugs 🐜 🐜🐜 👏👏👏. Anyway, for those of you who want an easy stitching program for ios, this is working great (for now, hoping it still works in a couple weeks).🤔
(Just a note…it works best if you have at least a 25% overlap on your shots.)

Making room for new content and really hoping for something that “Wows” me in the next event. If it’s just another mish-mash, I may just go ahead and rebuild Krustyland or my Stonecutters area. Both areas have been waiting for inspiration (and a huge items increase) so maybe now’s the time. Will wait and see what the next event brings.😁

When discussing what might be next after this mini-event ends, Patric referred to a possible upcoming “major event” while Safi referred to an upcoming “multi-event.” I find it a bit confusing. Pat are you speaking of an event design more like the older ones that we always simply called “major events”? Safi are you speaking as though the “multi-event” is the new permanent event design? Thanks for clarifying.
There’ve been a lot of comments from players who are noting that the multi-event and the sequential mini-events since mid-January really lack something satisfying in the game design – it’s just not as dynamic as the older event design. I really agree with this.
My experience has been that the overall writing and the visual tasks (whether they involve a decoration or building) during and since the Christmas event have been a real improvement and I’m really grateful for that. When not needed for other tasks, Bart and Milhouse perpetually drive the Snow Mobile around my town. Hilarious nonsense, especially with no snow anywhere in town now.
But like many others, the lack of event currencies that are collected via npcs in my and neighbor towns, the lack of interactive event play with neighbors, lack of mini-games within events, and reduced numbers of new buildings and decorations, has made gameplay less satisfying. I don’t personally miss crafting, but the inclusion of prize track decorations (or buildings) that you could buy in multiples with igc (after winning the original prize track item) was a great new gameplay option at Christmas and in perhaps one (?) subsequent mini-event. Now that option has disappeared.
I am all for trying to find a balance of event design so older players with extensive game items from longterm play, new and newer players trying to build up their towns, players with very busy lives and players without time constraints, can all find something beyond just an acceptable but not satisfying tsto event to play. It was never perfect, of course, but EA has hit the right event design model in the past here and there, so it is not an impossible feat.
I really agree with Patric’s comments about the relevance of a next (or upcoming) event of some sort in Springfield Heights. I agree with other players’ expressed frustration that Friendship Prize quests and the Road to Riches quests have been abandoned. EA addressed the Krustyland issue, now they should consider cleaning up those other loose ends too.

The Barbarian is a playable character. He has some good visual tasks and uses The All Night Gym for his 24 hr. task. It’s a good building animation.

I have 91 items left to get. just storing them on the outskirts of town for now. It’s been a real challenge as I am a tax preparer working 100+ hours a week so it’s been taxes and tapped out since the yearbook opened. I accept both challenges!
I scored big time today. Ajax Steel and Roscoe on the first try, then a dud NPC character, then Hank Scorpio and his lair! I’m still trying to digest everything.
Feel for you and your work. My father is a CPA, and he has been working non stop for a month.
