In continuing my quest to update things on this site that need to be updated during the downtime, I thought now would be the perfect time to update the long outdated Cash and XP Bonus % list. Basically, an updated version of our original chart that shows every item in the game that offers a Cash & XP bonus %, or just an XP bonus %.
The original list was written in 2016 and hasn’t been updated since THOH 2016. Since then we’ve had no fewer than 15 events hit our games, with LOADS of content. So needless to say updating this list, as daunting as it felt, was a much-needed task for me to complete. And now that it’s done it feels damn good!
So, without further ado, I bring you the comprehensive list of items new and old, permanent and limited-time..that all add a bonus percentage to our games. This list is now updated through the Classless Reunion mini-event. Enjoy!
Original post can be found here. This will lay out more details and info on how it all works. This post (the one you’re currently reading) is meant to just be a list of the items that offer a bonus % in game.
Remember, in order to get credit for these bonus percentages the items MUST be in your Springfield. You will not get credit for items in your inventory...
Please read this important Note: Regarding the Simpson Snowmen (Bart, Homer etc)…if you earned them during Christmas 2015 they will not earn a bonus %. EA released another version of them last Christmas (2015), that looked exactly the same but did not award a bonus %. So that’s why you’re not seeing a bonus % associated with them when you pull them from inventory. If your obtained them from a previous Christmas (2014, 2013 or 2012) they award the bonus % indicated on this chart. If you’re not sure when you got them…the simple test is to pull them from inventory and see if your meter goes up. If it doesn’t increase they’re from 2015, if it does you obtained them in one of the previous Christmases.

Thoughts on the list? Items you’re missing? Where’s your bonus % sitting? Sound off below, you know we love hearing from you!
Awesome list. Thanks to your help with understanding how amazing farming can be and also the benefit of buying mystery boxes to enhance bonus% I’m now sitting on 1588.11%. What confuses me is how I achieved the .01%. I’m thinking it’s a glitch.
Side note the Springfield Heights buildings are no longer hidden xp% they are regular at least in the sense that they show up in the total.
I can’t remember what item it was but I found one of my random objects that was worth xp% but when I stored it and clicked on the info button it didn’t list that it was worth any xp%.
Thank you for all your hard work
As I update the database I notice that some of the buildings that were initially given out as prizes now earn more cash. I was wondering it it changed for everyone or just those who paid donuts for them.
Anyone else have their characters stuck? Did buy milk task with most of my characters. Was able to complete task by sending 5 more to buy milk however the original 250+ characters I tap to collect and they walk right back in the kwikimart. Of course it is an original one so I can’t sell it to release them. The good news is if I close the game and reopen I can immediately tap and earn a few hundred thousand dollars and xp. I can do this repeatedly.
Nice! Thanks for the list. I converted the Yearbook list you made into a spreadsheet to help me make the best use of my purchases since I was definitely not going to get all the items, and now I have a new sheet to make to see what all items I don’t have yet. Bet that was a lot of work to compile; thanks again.
What about the Whack-A-Mole? I spent several hours comprising my own chart for them mystery box (that I am ADDICTED to and have spent way too much money on btw) and it is the one thing I can find NOTHING on. I found an old post that referenced it being a premium item for Krustyland, but that is all.
I have just “won” the Radstation Air Fortress. A quest started, but I need Fallout Boy to complete it. And I don’t have it. I searched and there is not in the Yearbook Mistery Box. Suggestion?
This is awesome! I recently began trying to KEM farm and have been paying closer attention to my bonus % I got the donut boat in the yearbook mystery box but it didn’t end up giving me any bonus %
Mmh… the list says Atomic Bomb is worth 0.75%. I had a bonus of 597,60% and I had 3 atomic bombs in my inventory. I added them to the game… and my bonus was unchanged, still 597,60.
I agree that sometimes there’s a delay in updating the bonus %ages. I usually find if I go off and do some other task that it will be updated thereafter.
The best part about getting the land squares every 12 hours was being able to open a huge swatch of land & finally taking out all the Springfield Heights crap I had in storage – boosted my % HUGE!!
Anyone know of a list that has this plus a cost column and that all important (donut/$)-to-bonus ratio column so we can know what the best deals are? I’m trying to work through the new yearbook and have gotten the want-to-have items, now I’m looking at the best bonus for the buck items.
Wow thank you so much!! This is incredible. I see the popcorn and hot dog stands on the list. It haven’t noticed them giving a bonus percentage in my town. Are the ones on this list different than the ones you can buy from the krustyland menu?
Well after playing this game for so long my bonus is now 835.50%. Id be lying if i said the mystery box only has about 20 buildings left i have no desire for either but like i said, its been a long run. Almost 400 characters long haha. (shaking my head) Sweet list though, keep up the good work all !
This is amazing! Thank you so much. . .and with pictures! This will make it much easier when I look at things in the mystery box. So much I passed by because I didn’t know it had a good percentage. I need to go check my storage for items too.
Thanks for this AWESOME post, Alissa!
Iirc, when the “Snowball II snowcat” item was released, it costed 20D with a rebate of 1D, for a donut-to-xp ratio of 0.95. I may be wrong, but that could have been the best value for non-unique items 🙂
Side note: since the Heights building’s bonus is no longer hidden, maybe the last table can reflect it <3
Respectful, constructive disagreement is welcome, but comments made to provoke others, be malicious, or distract from the purpose of this site will be removed.
This is awesome, thank you!! 🤩🤩
Can you also do it with premium 🍩 characters please??🥺🥺
Why? Premium characters all earn the same amount of money, there’s no difference in which character you buy.
Please please do another version of this page with items sorted by bonus % !!!
Thanks!
Hi, I set up a google sheet with all of these, it also tells you whether each item is in the yearbook or not. Take a look.

Thanks for the list! I don’t see the Cursed Ship on here (the one with Nosferatu). It’s a big one, 4.5% bonus!

I have different values for the blue electric car and the festive lights plunger
Thanks for the post and the information Alissa! I went back through my inventory and found 7-8 items that are now earning bonus XP.
I’m pretty sure the Springfield Heights bonuses apply to both cash and XP now.
So now there is some practical use for that stupid cat bus I got from a mystery box!
Excellent post Alissa thanks very much!
Stupid??? That bus is AWESOME!!!😸
My 10 year old daughter thinks so too!
Mmh… the list says Atomic Bomb is worth 0.75%. I had a bonus of 597,60% and I had 3 atomic bombs in my inventory. I added them to the game… and my bonus was unchanged, still 597,60.
1- is it the right item? 2- I believe there were craftable ones and purchasable ones. The craftable ones don’t have a bonus attached.
I’m pretty sure the Springfield Heights bonuses apply to both cash and XP now.
I play on a kindle and sometimes I have to visit friends and go back to the game for my percentage to update when I pull premium items out of storage.
I agree that sometimes there’s a delay in updating the bonus %ages. I usually find if I go off and do some other task that it will be updated thereafter.
Thank you very much for doing the work for this list! Since the Yearbook Mystery box came out, I was looking for something exactly like this list.
The best part about getting the land squares every 12 hours was being able to open a huge swatch of land & finally taking out all the Springfield Heights crap I had in storage – boosted my % HUGE!!

No because the pricing varies based on events, the vault and the mystery box. So it’s constantly shifting.
Drat!
But the size and % is the same. We can complete the list with this ratio: %/pixel of land.
This changes EVERYTHING! I had much of my Springfield Heights in storage so when I added them back it gave me another 80% increase! Thank you!!!
Oh….my……god.
Next year YOU’RE doing our taxes.😜
🤣🤣🤣
Sure, why not. I did ours, took about 45 minutes.
Thank you, this is awesome!
Thank you
Hey now! There’s some obscure stuff I need to hunt down …. thank you Alissa for this list! 👍
Am I turning into a completist now?😉
This is amazing! Thank you so much. . .and with pictures! This will make it much easier when I look at things in the mystery box. So much I passed by because I didn’t know it had a good percentage. I need to go check my storage for items too.
👍👍
Thanks for this AWESOME post, Alissa!
Iirc, when the “Snowball II snowcat” item was released, it costed 20D with a rebate of 1D, for a donut-to-xp ratio of 0.95. I may be wrong, but that could have been the best value for non-unique items 🙂
Side note: since the Heights building’s bonus is no longer hidden, maybe the last table can reflect it <3
