Cthulhu’s Revenge Prize Breakdown: Oyster Table to Cthulhu Monument

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well, no break for the Tappers, as it’s back-to-back mini-events in TSTO…not too shabby. Yesterday Cthulhu’s Revenge launched in Springfield, in what appears to be a mini-event precursor to Halloween!  Something to whet the appetite for what may be ahead in our games…at least we hope!

Remember, this event is designed to follow a series of tasks via the questline to unlock prizes.  For each of the parts of the Cthulhu’s Revenge questline, you’ll have to earn  via various character tasks in order to unlock the prize for that part.

Thoughts on the Oyster Table, Cemetary, Lighthouse or Monument?  Do you remember any of them from the show? Where have you placed the items in Springfield?  Sound off below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. The Fogbury Port Cemetery is a decent prize and is one of the best prizes in the event aside from Cthulhu and the lighthouse & pier because they at least do something when being used and tapped. I wish that when someone is on a task at the cemetery it would keep the animation going since it only appears when tapped on.

I was surprised to see not one but two tasks at the Lighthouse and Pier plus the animation is constant which is better than EARL which only shines when tapped. I really would like to have another Rowboat to put with the pier since I only have 1 from the time travel event 2 years ago. It might be worth mentioning that the 2 tasks don’t appear until Cthulhu is awarded and have reached part 5 (yes 5, not like the 2-3 parts recently) of his questline.

The Oyster Eating Table and Cthulhu Monument don’t have any animations (the monument does have tasks though) but at least they have a sound with them and will look nice in a design with the other prizes and items. I haven’t done any designs yet but I’ll figure something out in the week. I wanted to try a design with the 2015 items to see if they work with these items.

Why is the cemetery a decoration but the monument is a building? Wouldn’t it make sense the other way with the cemetery being the building and monument the decoration?

Not only do I agree with your inquiries? I wish L-EA-Z-Y had offered up a Table like the Stonecutters AND a derelict Tavern with Seagulls on the roof – if you watch the “Treehouse of Horror XXIX” opening scene? You will see what made it to Cthulhu’s Revenge and what was missing (a missed opportunity).

Definitely more fun then Krusty’s Last Crap , not the best Mini-Event this year, let’s hope THOH 2019 offers up fun fun fun!😉

  2. Got last item last night, now to steal some ideas from some neighbours 😁😱👾

  3. For some reason I’m getting a glitch on my iPhone saying your Other device didn’t save you Springfield sign on to that device. I don’t play the game on about device. Anyone else get this?

  4. still crashing a lot during neighbour clean out any one else getting that ?

  5. In the past few days, every time I click on “accept” for a neighbor request, my neighbors aren’t added. Is this a glitch others are having? If you’ve sent me a neighbor request and are not my neighbor.. it’s nothing personal! I’m trying to add you!

  6. Oyster Eating Table (I jokingly call it “that Vegas Buffet sound” when you Tap it)

Fogbury Port Cemetery (💚 the animation when Tapped, you’ll get Marge ‘Be Creeped Out’, along with Bart ‘Defile Graves’ Tasks)

Fogbury Port Lighthouse and Pier (my favourite, because it is animated whenever Cthulhu, or Sea Captain, have a Task there) 👍

Cthulhu Monument (💚 that chanting sound when you Tap it, M’nthster and Willie have Tasks here, but I wish it was animated when they did that)

I enjoyed creating a Fogbury Port in my Springfield. Sure, I needed to re-watch the “Treehouse of Horror XXIX” intro a few times (in order to try and catch everything referenced with these Mini Event Prizes), but that alloys me to watch an Episode again.

I just got the last Prize (only took Sunday off Tapping), I hope Tappers had fun …. I made the most of it (sorry if L-EA-Z-Y has made it difficult for some Tappers to enjoy).

  7. I don’t understand why the Cemetery is able to be placed on Boardwalk and Pier tiles, that just doesn’t seem right. I guess that gives new meaning to the term “Buried at Sea”.

  8. Already halfway through the last one for Cthulhu.
I can also quit farming. 11.000 should be plenty until way way in to 2020.

  9. Don’t know this episode but i like this stuff….no storage! Yay!
