Should I Spend Donuts On the Returning Lewis Clark, Softball Burns, Baseball Jasper, Howard Duff, or Aristotle?

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Gather ’round the tapping device everyone, it’s update time in TSTO!  A baseball mini-event to distract us from well…the fact that the whole world is on a time-out right now.  Of course, a new mini-event gives EA an excuse to stock our stores with returning premium content, just tempting us to drop those pink sprinkles!

As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add the returning Lewis Clark, Softball Burns, Baseball Jasper, Howard Duff, or Aristotle Amadopolis to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding these throwbacks to your town…

All Returning Items Leave Stores April 1st

A quick note.  The Gridiron and Tailgate are both available in the store as returning items.  However, BOTH items are available in the Yearbook Mystery Box, so that’s your best bet to buy those.

Item: Lewis Clark and the Mighty Pigs Practice Rink
Donut Cost: 165 Donuts
Previous Post: Should I Buy
What Does It Do?: Full character and decoration for Springfield.  Rink earns 4.5% bonus on all cash and XP
Opinion on it Now: Unchanged from my previous opinion.

Item: Softball Burns
Donut Cost: 50 Donuts
Previous Post: Softball Burns
What Does It Do?: Costume for Mr. Burns.  Fun animations
Opinion on it Now: Was originally free, but 50 donuts for a costume is a bit steep to pay in my opinion.

Item: Baseball Jasper
Donut Cost: 50 Donuts
Previous Post: Baseball Jasper
What Does It Do?: Costume for Jasper, fun animations
Opinion on it Now: Was originally free, but, like the Burns costume, 50 donuts for a costume is a bit steep to pay in my opinion.

Item: Howard K Duff
Donut Cost: 60 Donuts
Previous Post: Howard K Duff
What Does It Do?: Full character for Springfield
Opinion on it Now: Was originally free.  60 donuts is a fair price for a full character.  Not a bad pickup.

Item: Aristotle Amadopolis
Donut Cost: 60 Donuts
Previous Post: Aristolte
What Does It Do?: Full character for Springfield
Opinion on it Now: Was originally free.  60 donuts is a fair price for a full character.  Not a bad pickup.

  1. Is anyone else having trouble with the submarine? For the last 23 trips, I haven’t earned a single piece for the Boardwalk. Sadly, I paid the 12 donuts 10 times in a row with not a single piece of Boardwalk for my “investment.”

  2. I missed my chance on Itchy because I didn’t want to go through the hassle of rebuilding my Krustyland after it was nuked all those years ago. I haven’t had a second chance. He’s my only missing character. 😦

    Bah, I have all these. Still yearning for these items to return:

    * Miss Sinclair
    * Dr. Robert Terwilliger Sr.
    * Dame Judith Underdunk
    * Stage for the Terwilligers

    That is all.

  5. This one’s for you Noobs …. I obtained half of these from prior Events, or from the Mystery Box (and the random Token used to obtain during an Event).

    All of them have their benefits (fun Character Tasks), except you got to have 🍩’s to spend now if you want ’em! 😉👍🏻
