It’s officially Autumn here in North America and you know what that means? Yes, the leaves start to change…but The Simpsons Are Back! Despite the SAG-AFTRA strike, this Sunday marks the Season 35 Premiere! Woohoo!
So here’s your official TSTO Addicts reminder…all new episode, the season premiere, this Sunday, October 1st, at 8pm Eastern on FOX (also at the same time on CityTV in Canada)….“Homer’s Crossing”!
Past season premieres include the likes of:
Season 1, “Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire” – The episode that started it all, as Homer struggles to get gifts with Christmas right around the corner.
Season 4, “Kamp Krusty” – When the children of Springfield are sent to Kamp Krusty, they become disgruntled that Krusty is not there and take over the camp.
Season 5, “Homer’s Barbershop Quartet” – When Bart and Lisa come across an album cover featuring Homer, Homer recounts the story behind his time as a member of the popular band the Be-sharps.
Season 7, “Who Shot Mr. Burns? (Part Two)” – The mystery of who shot Mr. Burns in the season 6 finale is revealed.
Season 9, “The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson” – When Barney drives Homer’s car, it ends up in New York City, prompting our favourite family to visit the Big Apple.
Season 12 to 16 featured Treehouse of Horror episodes for the season premiere
Season 18, “The Mook, the Chef, the Wife and Her Homer” – Lisa befriends Fat Tony’s son resulting in Homer and Bart joining the mob.
Season 24, “Moonshine River” – When Bart’s love life ramps up, he comes face-to-face with 5 loves from his past.
Season 26, “Clown in the Dumps” – When Rabbi Hyman Krustofsky dies, Krusty retires
Season 29, “The Serfsons” – A magical medieval world that inspired an event in our little towns.
Season 30, “Bart’s Not Dead” – Bart ends up in the hospital following a dare and claims to have gone to heaven and have met Jesus.
Season 33, “Star of the Backstage” – Marge re-creates her Y2K stage show.
And last seasons, “Habeas Tortoise” – Homer tries to find a missing tortoise.
So what do The Simpsons have in store for us this week?

“Feeling worthless at work, Homer volunteers to be a school crossing guard. But when his safety squad receives too much funding, the crossing guards become a force to be feared.“

Unfortunately now that The Simpsons has moved from Fox to the House of Mouse, the YouTube channel “Animation on Fox” is no longer posting sneak peeks.
