It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons or current Tapped Out event) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

I am having trouble getting into my game since last mini update, not resolved by Halloween update.
I have unistalled and reinstalled twice, cleared cache, unistalled unused apps, so have space on my Samsung a7 tablet.
Sometimes I can get on by restarting device but not always.
Any suggestions for getting back to normal access to my game?
I just want to say this because it happens quite often to me, but please please please to all the high level players around 900. Can you guys keep the majority of your characters indoor or at least not around The Simpsons’ house. Everytime I load into your town to do the daily neighbour activities, the loading time always take about 5 minutes and it’s very laggy. My game has crashed twice. It’s very annoying. If it keeps up like this, I might have to delete friends who are high level.
They can’t help, sorry.
It may be other animations or the size of town, but any friend visit gets to see animated tasks.
Your neighbours may set un-animated indoor tasks but the game wants to show off.
I have 3 towns and if one visits the other I see this.
The Injury 500 track or the Monorail doesn’t help, if any of ’em read this.
Big towns don’t help either, but it’d be a shame if you didn’t keep ’em and tap on.
Well another MLB regular season is in the books. It was a fun year even though my Cardinals had the worst season in recent memory. I’m sure Alissa’s equally disappointed in her Yankees play. The new rules seemed to speed the game up and I enjoyed the changes for the most part. My preseason World Series picks of Atlanta and Toronto are still alive though I don’t have much faith in the Bluejays getting all the way there. Sorry Safi. It’s sure to be a wild playoff so who knows, anything can happen. 🙂

Was the bug that didn’t let Princess Opal read tarot cards and move beyond “Moving In Hex-Filled Circles Part 3” ever fixed? I sure would like to finish the quest before the Halloween event starts.
I’m hoping the Devs took notice of my latest suggestion over on AHQ and it’ll be fixed either in this coming update or soon after – but I don’t know for sure just now.

I was logged out of my game this morning and get repeated error messages when trying to get back in. Anyone else having this problem?
What Error ??
You can ignore the Your Other Device malarkey and tap to Continue / Play Anyway to get tapping ( usually the option on the Red button(s) )
If it’s the Can’t Connect ( Bart Screen ) close your game either in Recent Apps – often as simple as swiping it off from there, but depends on device – or find it in Settings and Force Close, then restart it from the App Icon, not a Notification.
If Bart pops back up only hit Retry once. If it keeps coming back with a countdown kill the game and restart it again.
If that keeps happening turn off the Internet access for your device, both WiFi and Mobile Data if you have both options.
Usually you can do that with the Drop Down menu for the device, or can edit that to include those.
If you restart or reload your game with no internet you get a different Can’t Connect message that says it’s your fault.
When that shows up swipe down for that menu and restart the Internet for your device.
Give it a moment to connect then hit Retry on that alternate message.
( I had a flu and a covid jab recently, one in each shoulder, and my arms are aching again now after typing all that !! )
I got Alaska Nebraska from the Yearbook Mystery Box and she needs the Pop Stage to complete her task. (I’m new to this game, so excuse my ignorance) I googled it and it looks like that prop was used in previous events, am I not able to get it now? (Therefore her task will never be able to be completed?) any help would be appreciated!
You’ll need to ignore the quest for now and keep checking the Store or Mystery Boxes when new updates hit. These things usually come back but there’s no way to know when, sorry.

Hi!! Anyone know how to remove the button “Rosquinhas de ontem” In English, something like yesterday donuts? It tells me to spend a golden token in donuts, but I don’t want this. Thank you in advance.
Day Old Donuts – It’s a leftover from Black Friday 2022 and needs you to use a Golden Token from that event.
One of the EA Community Team told me that if you can contact EA Help they are allowed to give you a Token to clear that task, but that was back when it became an issue for some, and even at the time it seemed not all the Help advisors knew about it – so it may take a few goes to get one to help you.
