Totbox’s Throwback Thursday: S2 E11 One Fish, Two Fish, Blowfish, Blue Fish

Ureshii Mase!! (I lost my Japanese translator so I went with what Frinkiac said)

It is THURSDAY and you know what that means, meatloaf night. But before you get the ketchup let me catch-You-Up on some old episodes with another throwback, (some of you are sighing *another one?*) yes. Ohhh Myy, there are some special guest-star voices to make this throwback sound a little sweeter, *bowing and walking away backwards as I present the title* enjoy:

“One Fish, Two Fish, Blowfish, Blue Fish”
They say “you are what you eat”, so Homer might end up as a dead fish

Totbox’s Throwback Thursday: S2 E10 Bart Gets Hit by a Car

There I was minding my own business when Alissa came to me and said “You Better Write Another Throwback Post or Else!!” I quivered in my innocence and quickly got to work. …OK, that’s not what really happened (good thing I’m not under oath) but if Lionel Hutz was my lawyer that’s what I might say.

I plead the 5th regarding what was the first trial or lawsuit or even Lawyer in history out of fear of litigation. Who, what and where is still debated and that means the Jury’s still out on that one. :p

I have seen some interesting cases (during my time travels), witch trails, monkey trials, even a trail where the guy pretended he couldn’t put on a glove.. (What was his last name? oh never mind). There have been lots of trials. I rest my case… Wait, not yet, I have Exhibit B (for Bart) when this alleged incident occurred:

“Bart Gets Hit by a Car”

What the Heck happened to Bart? Only his new found Lawyer can say (or tell Bart what to say)

Totbox’s Throwback Tuesday: S2 E9 Itchy & Scratchy & Marge

What do we want?!! When do we want it?!! NOW!
Too bad, you’re are getting a Throwback Thursday Post instead :p
I want to start with an angry letter:
Dear EA, your lack of cartoon violence is upsetting to me… Just kidding, it’s fine BUT I want the two characters the fight and bite in our game as real playable characters. I might go on strike… I might make other empty threats… I might be writing this as partial filler to my post to set the mood to the theme… In closing, The Simpsons Tapped Out Addicts is a power and voice that you can ignore, but if you continue to ignore, Our Empty Threats might get Louder, like one Simpson family member (from this episode).
“Itchy & Scratchy & Marge”
Marge fights and bites/writes to get cartoon violence off TV

Totbox’s Throwback Thursday: S2 E8 Bart the daredevil

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, This THURSDAY, THURSDAY, THURSDAY, Get ready for something amazing!!!

Wait, it is Thursday?… I don’t know if I’ll be able to live up to that hype :p

Evel Knievel was alive when this episode aired on December 6th 1990, and he may have had some flashbacks to his failed jump at Snake River Canyon (1974). You would have thought he would have died many times over (considering he is world record holder for the most bones broken in a lifetime) but he passed away (unrelated to stunts) in the year 2007. But this isn’t an eulogy, it’s a celebration to the insane art of Danger. Put on your safety goggles, and knee pads, and helmets, and gloves, and seatbelts, and cups (if you need one), And get ready for this extreme episode:

“Bart the Daredevil”

“Danger” ISN’T Bart’s middle name but he’d prefer it.

Totbox’s Throwback Thursday: S2 E7 Bart Vs. Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving time travelers!

The American Thanksgiving has it’s origin all the way back to the year 1621 as you probably learned in grade school. NOW (as it was in this episode of the Simpsons) Thanksgiving is about family, gluttony, football, parades, discomfort, and guilt (but what they didn’t do then was get ready for Black Friday Sales – good times). But this isn’t about my thoughts about the more awkward of holidays, it’s about the Simpson family and their family awkwardness.

“Bart vs. Thanksgiving”

Bart’s poor behavior is the centerpiece to this Thanksgiving episode.

Totbox’s Throwback Thursday: S2 E6 Dead Putting Society

Hello TSTO Addicts/participants,

Looking at all the directions I can go with this (the start of this post), I see a few obstacles.. Do I talk about feuding neighbors like the Hatfields and McCoys? Or go on a different angle, like about golf or minigolf history? Or just Focus on the training and being in the zone regarding the goal ahead?…. I think I’m just going to close my eyes and see what happens. Lets just hit it.

“Dead Putting Society”
Bart and Todd are not Putt-putting for the fun of it. Homer and Ned put them into this (w)HOLE-situation.

Totbox’s Throwback Thursday: S2 E5 Dancin’ Homer

Give me a “T”!, Give me another “T!”, Give me One More “T”! WHAT’S THAT AN ABBREVIATION FOR? That’s right, My Throwback Thursdays!!! I mean, Totbox’s Throwback Thursdays!!!!!!!

TSTO Addicts might already have a number of mascots, including a guy in a furry costume, but if anyone made a Totbox suit you can bet I won’t be wearing it :p (I can humiliate myself just fine As myself. Let someone else get the glory) :p

Please put your hands together and give a warm cheer for episode 18:

*cue “the baby elephant walk” song*

“Dancin’ Homer”
Homer not only acts like a goofball, but he meets The Goofball (in person), in this crowd pleasing episode.

Totbox’s Throwback Thursday: S2 E4 Two Cars in Every Garage and Three Eyes on Every Fish

Hello Average-Joe Six-pack, Johnny Lunchpail, Joe Meatball, Sally Housecoat, Eddie Punchclock, and clan of Slack-Jawed Troglodytes, (phrases Burns used in this episode)

This is how Some people talk if they are running for political office and if you didn’t know that you should be “fired” (from whatever job you have)… I guess that joke might not make so much sense in time, but right now, currently in 2016, you’ll be laughing and laughing :p (maybe)

Luckily for us folks, in the U.S.A., We will be done with these candidates in no more than 8 years or so (hopefully much much less). Yet every 4 years (or less) we go through the political campaigns and no matter who we like there is always that candidate that schemes/scams and tosses false facts at us (including some we like). In this episode it is Mr. Burns (which saddly doesn’t sound like a bad candidate comparatively) :p

“Two cars in every garage and three eyes on every fish”
Burns runs for Governor and Bites more than he can chew

Totbox’s Throwback Thursday: S2 E3 Treehouse of Horror

Hello time travelers, happy Halloween

*Flashlight under face* Boo!! Now that you are properly scared, prepare to be informed (which is kind of scarier). There are a few Landmarks in The Simpsons’ history and this is one of them, The very first THOH (which since “Treehouse” is a compound word it should be TOH but it doesn’t look right, so let’s stick with THOH).

1977, there was an iconic role, voiced by an even larger Force of a man, James Earl Jones. Yes THAT James Earl Jones and he graced The Simpsonsverse in three separate roles in this episode (not to mention voicing Maggie in a future THOH episode).

There was no THOH in season 1 but this doesn’t change the fact how important they are to the fabric of the series and our game. Enough of my excitement that I can’t put into words (and refused to leave in all caps) find a dark room or even a treehouse and enjoy this special installment:

“Treehouse Of Horror”
Treehouse, Possessed House, UFO and Poe 🙂

Totbox’s Throwback Thursday: S2 E2 Simpsons and Delilah

Hello You Magnificent Creatures Whom Deserve Respect,

When is the last time you got a good look at yourself in the mirror? I mean, took a really good look? Do you see all your physical flaws or your Great Beauty and Potential to Accomplish Great Things? Or neither and just how pathetic you are for attempting such confidence-building-exercises? :p

Whatever your answers, you’re not alone. Stop looking in the mirror and reflect on this second episode of season 2. 🙂

“Simpson and Delilah”
Homer’s problem isn’t that he is bald but the fact he isn’t bold
