Whose a good Addict?! Whose a good Addict?! You are, yes you are! Hello Guy dogs and … Female dogs,
Whether you like man’s best friend or not, dogs have learned a lot since their original Wolf counterparts. I would have had this written sooner but my dog ate my tablet. Now Sit, no need to beg, I’m going to give you a treat (this Throwback):
“Barts Dog Gets an F” Santa’s Little Helper needs help so Bart takes him to a training school. This is going to be RUFF!
This episode is based heavily on a religious doctrine. I shall not give you a biblical lesson, if thou wants to know, thy shall ask thy mother and father or a search engine. The 8th commandment in this case, is “Thou Shall Not Steal” though depending on your faith it might fall on a different numbered placement.
I shall not steal anymore of your time, so here it is:
“Homer Vs. Lisa and the 8th Commandment” Lisa wants to coax Homer away from his illegal Coax-Cable hookup
Why do Words suddenly appear, every time you are here (on TSTO Addicts)?
*all dolled up in my most prom-iest attire* Would you do me the honor of going to a Prom Themed Throwback with me?
No?! Well I’m going to go by myself then. I remember my first Thowback, it felt fresh and everyone who read it had something to say. It was a while ago but feels like it was yesterday to me *everything getting foggy and …. * Nope, nope. No time for flashbacks, lets focus on the current post (about a flashback episode).
“The Way We Was” Homer and Marge PROM(ise) to stay together in this 70’s flashback
Ureshii Mase!! (I lost my Japanese translator so I went with what Frinkiac said)
It is THURSDAY and you know what that means, meatloaf night. But before you get the ketchup let me catch-You-Up on some old episodes with another throwback, (some of you are sighing *another one?*) yes. Ohhh Myy, there are some special guest-star voices to make this throwback sound a little sweeter, *bowing and walking away backwards as I present the title* enjoy:
“One Fish, Two Fish, Blowfish, Blue Fish” They say “you are what you eat”, so Homer might end up as a dead fish
There I was minding my own business when Alissa came to me and said “You Better Write Another Throwback Post or Else!!” I quivered in my innocence and quickly got to work. …OK, that’s not what really happened (good thing I’m not under oath) but if Lionel Hutz was my lawyer that’s what I might say.
I plead the 5th regarding what was the first trial or lawsuit or even Lawyer in history out of fear of litigation. Who, what and where is still debated and that means the Jury’s still out on that one. :p
I have seen some interesting cases (during my time travels), witch trails, monkey trials, even a trail where the guy pretended he couldn’t put on a glove.. (What was his last name? oh never mind). There have been lots of trials. I rest my case… Wait, not yet, I have Exhibit B (for Bart) when this alleged incident occurred:
“Bart Gets Hit by a Car”
What the Heck happened to Bart? Only his new found Lawyer can say (or tell Bart what to say)
Too bad, you’re are getting a Throwback Thursday Post instead :p
I want to start with an angry letter:
Dear EA, your lack of cartoon violence is upsetting to me… Just kidding, it’s fine BUT I want the two characters the fight and bite in our game as real playable characters. I might go on strike… I might make other empty threats… I might be writing this as partial filler to my post to set the mood to the theme… In closing, The Simpsons Tapped Out Addicts is a power and voice that you can ignore, but if you continue to ignore, Our Empty Threats might get Louder, like one Simpson family member (from this episode).
“Itchy & Scratchy & Marge”
Marge fights and bites/writes to get cartoon violence off TV
Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, This THURSDAY, THURSDAY, THURSDAY, Get ready for something amazing!!!
Wait, it is Thursday?… I don’t know if I’ll be able to live up to that hype :p
Evel Knievel was alive when this episode aired on December 6th 1990, and he may have had some flashbacks to his failed jump at Snake River Canyon (1974). You would have thought he would have died many times over (considering he is world record holder for the most bones broken in a lifetime) but he passed away (unrelated to stunts) in the year 2007. But this isn’t an eulogy, it’s a celebration to the insane art of Danger. Put on your safety goggles, and knee pads, and helmets, and gloves, and seatbelts, and cups (if you need one), And get ready for this extreme episode:
“Bart the Daredevil”
“Danger” ISN’T Bart’s middle name but he’d prefer it.
The American Thanksgiving has it’s origin all the way back to the year 1621 as you probably learned in grade school. NOW (as it was in this episode of the Simpsons) Thanksgiving is about family, gluttony, football, parades, discomfort, and guilt (but what they didn’t do then was get ready for Black Friday Sales – good times). But this isn’t about my thoughts about the more awkward of holidays, it’s about the Simpson family and their family awkwardness.
“Bart vs. Thanksgiving”
Bart’s poor behavior is the centerpiece to this Thanksgiving episode.
Looking at all the directions I can go with this (the start of this post), I see a few obstacles.. Do I talk about feuding neighbors like the Hatfields and McCoys? Or go on a different angle, like about golf or minigolf history? Or just Focus on the training and being in the zone regarding the goal ahead?…. I think I’m just going to close my eyes and see what happens. Lets just hit it.
“Dead Putting Society” Bart and Todd are not Putt-putting for the fun of it. Homer and Ned put them into this (w)HOLE-situation.
