Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Dropping in to let you know a little update just hit our games…LEVEL 43!!
More details as we go through them but for now know that Homer kicks it off and you have to send him to KRUSTYLAND!!!
Note: Some players are reporting Krusty starts it off for them. It will vary game to game. Both Krusty and Homer start questlines for the level. In both of my games Homer started it, but then Krusty picked it back up after.
As always…for those that don’t like spoilers Update information below the fold…so WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD
As mentioned above Homer kicks things off in Krustyland with some dialogue between him and Bart. Your first task will be to Build Tavern on the Scream….it costs 1,500 Tickets and takes 24hrs to build.
Next up is the main questline for the Level and that starts off with Krusty and Blue Haired Lawyer (no you don’t have to have BLH in order to do the quest)…
This will prompt you to build Krusty’s Giant Wheel….it costs 4,000 Tickets and takes 24hrs to build. This unlocks Princess Penelope.
Update: Some of you are reporting that you’re below Level 43 and getting the prompt to build the Tavern on the Scream from Homer & Bart. This is a task that starts before Level 43, but introduced with this update. So if you’re at a lower level you’ll still get in on the update fun!
Note: There is a minimum requirement for this. You have to currently be at Level 30 and you have to have completed up to part 9 in the Krustyland questline (Krustyest Place on Earth)
Krusty/Penelope questline is the main questline for Level 43… 🙂
So that’s the intro basics…now for the rundown of what the update contains…
Freemium Stuff:
Buildings
Tavern on the Scream– 1500 Tickets , 6×9 24hr build. Note: There is a minimum requirement for this. You have to currently be at Level 30 and you have to have completed up to part 9 in the Krustyland questline (Krustyest Place on Earth)
Krusty’s Giant Wheel– 4,000 Tickets (Earns 90 Tickets, 30xp/24hrs), 6×3, 24hr build. Comes with Princess Penelope.
Characters:
Princess Penelope– Comes with Krusty’s Giant Wheel
Decorations:
Scratchy Balloon- 1,250 tickets, Improves Kitsch
Poochie Balloon- 1,000 tickets, Improves Kitsch
Premium Stuff:
Buildings:
Unoriginal Log Ride– 75 Donuts. Earns 36tickets, 15xp/ 4hrs. 20×10. Instant Build
Krusty’s One Plate Maximum Buffet– 40 Donuts. Earns 90 tickets/30xp/ 12hrs. 10×8. Instant Build
*Note: This building when purchased has a quest for Eddie & Lou. Eddie & Lou will appear in Springfield AFTER you’ve completed the first part of the main questline. Basically after you’ve built the wheel and placed balloons.
Decorations:
Duff Beer Fountain– 10 donuts. Impacts Nausea rating. 4×4.
Itchy Balloon– 30 Donuts. Improves Kitsch in Krustyland. Adds 2% bonus in K-Land
Itchy & Scratchy Billboard- 40 donuts. 1% bonus to all cash and xp in Springfield, improves Kitsch in Krustyland
Update Fun: Easter Decorations (Fences, Gates, Trees) can NOW go in Krustyland!!!

Didn’t expect level 43 today but its a good surprise. I’ve pretty much forsaken my Krustyland so I’m glad they did an update for it, even though it seems like most of the new stuff is premium.
It’s a decent mix. 1 restaurant/ride in premium and freemium 🙂

Restaurant is part of a separate build and Level 43 isn’t required for it 🙂

Someone mentioned earlier and it happend to me as well, when I went to sleep last night I was very close to lol 42. When I logged in this morning I had been leveled up, received my 2 free donuts, and when I went to KL Homer started the Tavern quest for me. So is this a glitch? Being upped a level and having a quest start for a level I am not currently on?
On another note thank you all for running this site! I check it all the time lol I love the content and humor. Keep up the great work!
The tavern is independent of the wheel. The wheel is part of Level 43, and that’s the requirement, but the tavern is a new building in KL. Which accounts for the difference 🙂

Glad you can put the Easter Trees in KL now. I don’t think I’ll hate them in there.
better there than inventory right? Krustyland is so huge it’ll make a nice spot for decorations of events past 🙂
And their weird colors seem OK in the artificial world of an amusement park more than they did in (OK, it’s also artificial, but not in the same way) Springfield.

I was on level 40 last night with half way to go and now I leveled up magically. Weird??
Interesting. I know with each new level the XP requirements for the lower ones is decreased…so perhaps that’s why? 🙂
Some insentive for me to decorate my krustyland. Last major redecoration i did was when we were able to put valentines items in kl. And it doesnt even look good. Haha.

Already had Krusty & Homer in Krustyland had to wait an hour for them to finish their task so I bought some balloons while I was waiting. It’s now in the quest to buy 2 balloons so now I have to buy more 🙁

I thought they might have too. Am holding out till the wheel is built to see if it triggers anything, if not I’ll buy 1 premium & another freemium ballon.

Were Easter Fences usable for Kitsch before? I hadn’t noticed that before, and I think I’ve been checking every level so I could remove extra tents.

Just woke up to the new level (yay), passed out before visiting last night, (hence the 36 hr. window on visits at times), I always tap everything, send no tasks yet, visit KL & collect… lo and behold! Dear Silly is my 1st neighbor… spacing off that everyone isn’t as obsessed with their KL as I am, I didn’t think that they might need tix for the KL quests (sorry Silly). Then it hit me! Visit everyone’s KL & get them tix 🙂 The only frustrating thing is you can’t use the arrows to go to the next KL, you have to go back to Bart & Milhouse & tap your neighbor’s KL :/ More time consuming. So excited I bought a few of the extras (in game tix), and some with sprinklies (knew I was saving those last 100 for something 🙂 I know a certain Cheeto eating Fuzzball who is going to be as amped as I am 😛
Don’t worry neighboreenos with no KL yet, I’ll still be tapping you 🙂
Kudos to EA for the new quests in KL, now if you could make it so we can go from KL to KL for our neighbors 🙂
I agree with you so much regarding the ability to go from KL to KL. I cant imagine it would be that hard for EA to do so.
My #1 complaint.
That and I want a bank. Its so hard for me to save “in game” loot and if I had a bank that functioned Id be so much more better off.
Hm I like that idea. Like an automatic deposit of some sorts, 50% to the bank 50% to free spending for every task. This way when an update hits you have something saved for it. Nice idea! 🙂

What I wish we had was numbered neighbors. How hard would that be. To have them numbered on the screens or in the list? I am always adding and dropping people who don’t play. It would be nice to know if I have 78 or 82 or 92, so then I can go add people from the forums here. Instead of scrolling side to side through all the screens…3…6…9….12…Sigh

I second the idea that if I’m I’m a KL the store should take me to the next KL and only go to Springfield if they don’t have KL.

It happens to me often. Best thing to do is uninstall TSTO and reinstall it. That usually works for me. Although it doesn’t always, sometimes I have to go in and delete some photos or apps. But try the uninstall and reinstall first, that works for me 95% of the time 🙂
I didn’t actually need anyone to be free, I just went to KrustyLand and the dialogue started.
Does princess Penelope go in Springfeild too?

So, frakkin happy about this update. I nuked my Springfield today, but left my Krustyland (which I’m quite proud of I might add). This is going to be so much fun. Thank goodness I’ve been saving tickets for a while. 😀

So after updating and loggin in.. I apparently was close enough to the exp gift you get when ur level is maxed out, to level up upon starting. I’ve already been to krusty land and started the two new quest lines and can start building it all….. My question is, is everything,(balloons and other items) permanent now… I know the last time these balloons were around it was just for an event…. Also I tried placing one in Springfield but they can not be placed there.. Also how many parts to “the krustyest place on earth” are there??? I think I’m at pt. 36 or 37
Yes, the balloons in this update are permanent, for Krustyland.
As far as the Krustyland quests…as soon as you build the tooth chipper and it’s ridden Krustyland is complete.
D’oh! I was so close to earning my first batch of donuts for earning XP while on the top level. Now 43 is only coming with 1 lousy donut.
Glad to see new stuff coming for Krustyland, though!

I just wanted to say that it’s krusty who starts it off not homer and that I can only find one premium character but the more oddballs has a slider like the stonecutter character set indicating a character in there you can’t see yet eg: sideshow bob???

And yea, it’s different triggers for different people. Both characters start the level. Krusty kicks off building the Wheel (and the main part of level 43) and Homer kicks off building Tavern on the Scream 🙂

Wow weird. I just logged in and it let me start the quest. Even though I am only level 42 and have not even finished building the Viking Boat Ride yet. Odd. But cool.
