Dropping in to let you know a little update just hit our games…LEVEL 43!!
More details as we go through them but for now know that Homer kicks it off and you have to send him to KRUSTYLAND!!!
Note: Some players are reporting Krusty starts it off for them. It will vary game to game. Both Krusty and Homer start questlines for the level. In both of my games Homer started it, but then Krusty picked it back up after.
As always…for those that don’t like spoilers Update information below the fold…so WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD
As mentioned above Homer kicks things off in Krustyland with some dialogue between him and Bart. Your first task will be to Build Tavern on the Scream….it costs 1,500 Tickets and takes 24hrs to build.
Next up is the main questline for the Level and that starts off with Krusty and Blue Haired Lawyer (no you don’t have to have BLH in order to do the quest)…
This will prompt you to build Krusty’s Giant Wheel….it costs 4,000 Tickets and takes 24hrs to build. This unlocks Princess Penelope.
Update: Some of you are reporting that you’re below Level 43 and getting the prompt to build the Tavern on the Scream from Homer & Bart. This is a task that starts before Level 43, but introduced with this update. So if you’re at a lower level you’ll still get in on the update fun!
Note: There is a minimum requirement for this. You have to currently be at Level 30 and you have to have completed up to part 9 in the Krustyland questline (Krustyest Place on Earth)
Krusty/Penelope questline is the main questline for Level 43… 🙂
So that’s the intro basics…now for the rundown of what the update contains…

Tavern on the Scream– 1500 Tickets , 6×9 24hr build. Note: There is a minimum requirement for this. You have to currently be at Level 30 and you have to have completed up to part 9 in the Krustyland questline (Krustyest Place on Earth)
Krusty’s Giant Wheel– 4,000 Tickets (Earns 90 Tickets, 30xp/24hrs), 6×3, 24hr build. Comes with Princess Penelope.

Princess Penelope– Comes with Krusty’s Giant Wheel
Decorations:
Scratchy Balloon- 1,250 tickets, Improves Kitsch
Poochie Balloon- 1,000 tickets, Improves Kitsch
Premium Stuff:
Buildings:
Unoriginal Log Ride– 75 Donuts. Earns 36tickets, 15xp/ 4hrs. 20×10. Instant Build
Krusty’s One Plate Maximum Buffet– 40 Donuts. Earns 90 tickets/30xp/ 12hrs. 10×8. Instant Build
*Note: This building when purchased has a quest for Eddie & Lou. Eddie & Lou will appear in Springfield AFTER you’ve completed the first part of the main questline. Basically after you’ve built the wheel and placed balloons.
Decorations:
Duff Beer Fountain– 10 donuts. Impacts Nausea rating. 4×4.
Itchy Balloon– 30 Donuts. Improves Kitsch in Krustyland. Adds 2% bonus in K-Land
Itchy & Scratchy Billboard- 40 donuts. 1% bonus to all cash and xp in Springfield, improves Kitsch in Krustyland
Update Fun: Easter Decorations (Fences, Gates, Trees) can NOW go in Krustyland!!!

I actually really like this new level dedicated to Krustyland as I have not really redecorated it in quite some time, and with this new content, I have a reason too. Good thing I am a daily Krustyland visitor with over 270,000 tickets collected and Sideshow You is a great reason as well to visit daily for those 5 donuts you get after popping 300 balloons. This is random but with the Tomacco now at 30 minutes instead of an hour, is it possible they made that change to make room for one of the unreleased crops such as the elf berries, cabbage babies, tofu, or meth plant some time in the near future?
We don’t know but that’s what I’m thinking. I would not be surprised to see a new crop appear (wanted to say crop up lol) in the future. I’m diggin the attention to KL.
Ha, “crop up” would have been cool with me. I don’t feel stupid knowing I’m not the only one thinking about that crop time change. I’d like to see the elf berries if it were up to me.
I’ve been playing for a long (long) time. I always got so much enjoyment out of Springfield proper that I held off for as long as I could to start my squidport and Krustyland (the reasoning being that I might as well hold out while I was content with the town itself). So once I did start Krustyland, I’d developed such an attachment to the town and I never really got into the swing of Krustyland. I love the game and EA, but I would’ve liked to have seen some town-only stuff as well. I just have to remind myself: a KL-only level update or no level update at all. I’ll take the former.
A lot of us have been hoping for some attention to be paid to Krustyland for quite a while. I know I’ve talked about it more than most people probably should. Just curse at me whenever you go to KL… I can take it lol.
Wook, you were the first person I thought of when I read the specs of what this level brought us, lol.. I’m SUPER stoked about the restaurant from the Itchy & Scratchy Land ep.. opens up that can of worms of including attractions from the series’ other theme parks (fingers crossed for Mount Splashmore and Little Land of Duff)..
I don’t mind the Kustyland update idea, but the game, yet again, has added a minor or unknown character, and scraped down to the bottom of the barrel, instead of taking a notable character from the top of the pile that really should be included. Sarah Wiggum, Jacqueline Bouvier, Helen Lovejoy. There you go, three well known characters that really should be added to the game, and we get given an unknown princess. Other than that, I am pretty good with this update.
We’ll have to see when the next update hits and how it all plays out. I’m ok with the update/character choice it adds a fun questline for Krusty. Could just be something as a place holder for the next big thing…we shall see 🙂

I did not lol. It hasn’t been too bad until last night. I couldn’t even finish my friend visit wave today. 4 force closes and I gave up. Then another two upon opening and a FC every time I exit. EA shall feel my wrath!
Ugh… my Galaxy Tab doesn’t like the game at all. My iphone worked well but alas got lost so only TSTO on a kindle for now.
I bought the balloons and placed them and my quest still says place balloons?? Is this an issue ppl are having or just me? I’ve stored them and replaced them and still balloon count at 0..
Did you buy them before the quest or after it started?
I did the same thing! Actually I often do that! You have to buy them after you’ll told to, otherwise it doesn’t count. 🙁
Did Homer, Nelson, and Milhouse always require Mt. Krustmore for their 24-hour tasks? I could swear I was able to send them off on a 24-hour task in Krustyland before, but it’s been a while since I’ve done anything over there, so I could be wrong.

I love the krustyland update , I hope the board walk gets a new building soon. I also hope the opportunity to gain missed buildings/ items/ and characters continue . I was devastated I missed getting the gerbil and the gerbil sanctuary building . I’ve missed out in the eagle. There’s certain buildings I see around my neighbours and I hate that I missed events due to not having internet , or not having the cash at the time when I’m such a collector of all things. Here’s to hoping. Now I best go buy the other KL Buildings . All donut hackers suck btw

I bought balloons before I knew there was a Krusty task. Now it says place 2 balloons and it will not accept the 2 I already bought.
I feel robbed.
Try storing the 2 you bought and then replacing them. Otherwise while it stinks, at least they’re two available for tickets and not donuts.
Same as other posters have mentioned. Just moved up to level 43 and got one (1) donut. EA getting so cheap IMHO.
1 donut is actually the usual since the game began. There have been a few 2 donut updates but this really is par for the course.

I wasn’t interested in Krustyland, and so I’m now at lvl 42 and haven’t even built the shuttle. How much of the place do I need to build to do this? I’m questioning if I want to… I was so happy not having a Krusty shuttle sitting around to be accidentally clicked on =\
The requirement for Level 43 is to have completed the build of the studios on Level 42 & reach Level 43, so you may be ok with just building the wheel. You will also need the duff pavilion to complete the questline though, and for that you’ll have to progress through most of Krustyland. Sorry 🙁

You don’t need Duff Pavilion to start anyway… i was saving up for it and now I’m back to needing 10,000 tickets to get it. We’ll see later on!

I got the One Plate Maximum Buffet and a part of the quest is to make Eddie Lou eat there. However Eddie and Lou aren’t at my Krustyland. I can’t finish the quest without them. Is there something I have to place to get them there?

Ah.. maybe that is the problem, the wheel is still building. I am on Princess and the Pea # 1, odd that I got Sensible Eating Pt 2 already that requires them. I will be patient and wait the 17 hours till the wheel is built and see if they decide to join the party then. Thanks for the assist.

Nooooo!!!!! Just last night I was talking to my friend about what’s next and he said he hoped it was something with Krustyland I disagreed. I’ve hated Krustyland since the get go. I’m a completist but that only applies to my Springfield so I need the princess but other than that no interest.
Well…at the very least it’s something to do 🙂
They changed the building price for Fudge factory from 450k to 300k. Nice since I was just about to build it 🙂

Anyone else having trouble getting Lou and Eddie into KL? They are refusing to join the fun and I am not sure why (yes they are free and yes I have the prompt for them to eat at the buffet)
Try storing the SWAT van and replacing it. See if that helps trigger it 🙂

Thanks for the advice Alissa, I stored the SWAT van and then replaced it in Springfield and they still refuse to get in on the KL fun. 🙁 maybe this is a bug and we will get an update to fix 🙁 I am super excited to get more people over to KL, I have a sweet affection for it.
Did you start part 2 of the Princess and the Pea-Brain? (after you build the wheel) that’s what will trigger them 🙂
Princess Penelope ! Two days ago a UK newspaper published a poll – asking which of ten main characters would be killed off next season and Princess Penelope was on the list. The first episode is titled ‘Clown in the Dumps’. Hmmm… I know the character is one that won an Emmy for the actor who voiced them (Anne Hathaway won an Emmy for Princess Penelope) – maybe her arrival in the game has significance??

Don’t know if anyone else mentionned this. But I was prompted with krusty and my first task was two place the two balloons and buikd the wheel. The tavern is still locked for me. Any one else’s game did this?
Now that I think about homer is still doing a task, that might be why…

However, the timing is bad…on vacation from tomorrow on…well…nothing for a limited time only, so it’ll be fine…more or less…or not at all… 😛

I’m really glad to see Krustyland getting some love & attention. I was basically done with it on my A-game, and for days at a time didn’t even bother to visit because nothing was happening there. Just slowly accumulating tickets with nothing that needed spending on. I did acquire some more land and a few decorations, but my overall feeling was ‘Meh.’
So it was a pleasant shock to see both Homer and Krusty light up with the multicolored icon indicating they had upcoming KL quests. And even more so to see both the new Tavern and the Giant Wheel weren’t ridiculously priced. (I even decided to spend some donuts for the One Plate Buffet, since it has a good payout in tickets and is only 40 donuts.)

Me too. I’m also glad I’ll to be able to move some of my Easter decorations into KL. Given the Kitsch factor, they seem to belong there better than in Springfield anyway.
They also modified the characters collection. Dr. Nick is now in More Oddballs, and Crazy Cat Lady, Kumiko and Shary Bobbins were moved to the new Helpful Guest-Stars, along with Princess Penelope.
Minor Bug maybe, the More Oddballs collection is showing a movement bar below, when is not needed.
