Phase 4 of Turkey Day is now active…as you may have seen when you finished the first part of the Thanksgiving Questline this pops up:
And well…today is Wednesday November 26th…so what’s in store today?
Homer gets things started today…
You’ll continue the Black Friday questline, Gear up for Savings..with a 4hr task for Homer.
And then *GASP* a second questline!
Puritan Flanders will start another part, once Homer is done talking.
This time you’ll actually get a reward, prize!
For those that don’t want to know…details on the prize are after the fold.
Once you run through some dialogue with Puritan Flanders you’ll be awarded a free Outdoor Feast Table!
And as part of today’s quest you’ll be required to Place the Feast Table and then send Lisa and Puritan Flanders on a 10hr task..using the table.
And that’s it for today!
Remember…there’s 1 task released each day. Some task award a “reward-a-roony” while others are just tasks. So far no prizes have been awarded, but stay tuned tomorrow to see what’s in store for us then!

So I cannot do today’s task, there simply isn’t an option for it. Is there away to get it added? I have placed and replaced the table.

I’m having the same issue. Supposed to have Sacagawea Lisa hosting a leftovers meal with Puritan Flanders, but there is no option in either of their task lists right now.

It’s ok now, got an additional update. All fixed.

I’ve placed the feast table but it’s not triggering the peace feast task. As in, I can’t even select it. Has anyone experienced this problem? I’ve tried logging out and back in and storing the table but it still doesn’t work. Help!!!

Any one having problems with this? When I click go to on this task from the task book it takes me to lisa in her outfit but the task isn’t listed. Both her and Flanders is free.

Ok I got distracted by the Guitar Shop quest and fell a little behind on thanksgiving. I haven’t even gotten to the table, please tell me I’m not too late
Found really cool glitch/coincidence if u place indoor tennis court next to guimby residence (left side) then place freddy on privilage (24 task) looks as though freddy is laying on tennis roof with his feet in the balls….so cool/real looking…yw’s in advance! Enjoy
I have a similar situation, only, in my case, Freddy is sunning himself on top of some spooky walls!
I never got Flanders task yesterday! Is there any chance I could get it today and the range as well? I’d be gutted if I missed it
Keep trying. Make sure the characters involved are free and the previous day tasks done
I like this “drip feed” style of update. It’s nice to wake up to something new each day. It’s like a TSTO thanksgiving advent calendar.
Wouldn’t it be neat if the Christmas update were actually in the form of an advent calendar?
If I miss some days will I be able to catch up?
When I tried that in my test game, I still got the dialog. I just do not know the cut off to trigger it.
Hey, I like the update. I wasn’t hoping for a huge update between Halloween and Christmas, so this is nice. I’ve heard there’s more pretty cool rewards coming up.
Eh just a table if it was important then I would have brought my phone with me on Thanksgiving but just a table with a task isn’t worth it.
Watermelon? When did watermelon become a part of a traditional Thanksgiving feast table LOL? 🍉+(🍗🍠🌽) = weird!
I’m glad the table and the cornucopia can be placed on Squidport. I just couldn’t come up with a decent alternative spot for them, since I like to keep my mid-town park area reasonably clear.
One of my pet peeves on some of these items is that they can’t be rotated. Grr!
I really love the task with Lisa and Ned – it’s really cute. Hopefully that will remain as a permanent task after Thanksgiving is over.
I’ve actually placed the table on my boardwalk for now – I do that with a lot of items that don’t really fit anywhere else, making my boardwalk a chaotic assortment of extremely random items, which is all part of the fun of it. 🙂
The table fits perfectly as an extinction of the Stonecutter’s table.

For the love of god stop with the bob wandering through during a day with auto dialog pop up like today — you have to click through the dialog to chase bob and then don’t get to enjoy it. So annoying

I am beginning to think the slow roll out of a tapped out thanksgiving is because EA assumes most tappers will be too occupied by the ‘real holiday’ to devote their attention to the game (only, each time my game crashes – which it did today for the millionth time – I also think EA just doesn’t care (lol) and YES I’ve done everything suggested – the game still crashes so wHATEver EA!)
The Homer quest is ‘meh’ (4 hour wait for nothing) in my opinion (seriously, if tappers are not being rewarded anything significant, then what is the quest for?). This long time tapper is not impressed and free donuts will not appease me (I prefer a fun game filled with fun quests with a fun reward – is that asking too much EA?)
The Puritan Flanders / Native American Lisa quest featured lol dialog with the ‘dead Indian Chief’ (before placement of the ‘free holiday table’ found in your inventory). I consider this to be the 1st real ‘quest item’ tappers should’ve received on Sunday / Monday – you know, 2 – 3 days ago?)
So Happy Gobble Gobble Day and I will reserve final judgement for December 1 (either a ‘big pay off’ or the ‘biggest epic fail’ in tapper history)

Since the quest is on halt every day, and Homer is so obsessed with Black Friday, something will happen then. Most likely a sales event? Don’t you feel the tension? Me neither, Yawn, again premium… A sales event in town? Would be fun when all citizens of Springfield go crazy running between all stores, but nothing astonishing. An invasion of mutated turkeys? Well wrong show and there have been invasions of nerds and aliens lately …
I don’t expect anything big to happen, or EA would totally surprise me.

I’ve been suspecting that Gil may show up on ‘Black Friday’ with some deals, but it could just be wishful thinking on my part.
Free donuts would certainly appease me, especially if it’s more than just a token amount! 😃
Did a bit of a redesign of my Barbarian castle yesterday in preparation for the arrival of the table. I’m very happy with the outcome.

It looks like it also opened the Feast at Stonecutters Lodge for all the stone cutters also. I wasn’t able to get the table safely but just noticed that task is now open, only its a 24 hour tasks. So that’s nice, I always wanted to have them feast at least once lol.
Just so you know, I was scrolling through Krusty’s tasks and he has a 16 hour task at the Stomach Staple Center so I think that might be tomorrow’s prize, but I’m not sure. PS. The outdoor feast table looks good with the Barbarian Castle (I know some people like to put old event’s in their inventory, but I don’t do that).

I love this Mini-Event. Anyone knows when it ends? Oh, and i love the task between P. Flanders and S. Lisa. Love Flanders chewing his corn and Lisa sharing him turkey/salad

Besides the heart attack clinic and small prizes what do you think this is leading up to? A 50% off donuts sale. I ask cuz should I lay off buying donuts for now?

I really don’t think we’re getting a donut sale. There’s always a possibility but I really don’t think we’ll see it until Christmas. (and by that i mean the actual date, not event.)
Hmmm… Thanks for your insight. I thought there may be a donut sale for the Christmas event, but I assumed it would be with the event, not on the actual holiday. This helps because I was holding off buying donuts waiting for the sale, but if possibly it won’t be until Christmas Day itself, I will need to readjust my strategy.
Love it. Placed on a spare area in Squidport as the idea of a street party appealed to me.
Has anyone else been suffering constantly, repeatedly having to download a 400mb plus update?!?
A few others have reported this…my advice was to completely uninstall and reinstall it.
In the past month, My IPad has required a 100% reload 3 times
I’ve added the table to the end of my Stonecutters table — it looks perfect! I’ve got nearly everyone on tasks nearby, and those that aren’t nearby will join the crowd when they finish their current tasks, since the only pavement is in a checkerboard pattern near the table in the Stonecutter compound.
(I would take a screenshot and post it, but haven’t figured out how to do so on my device — instructions posted online don’t seem to work while playing TSTO. Having said that, Bunny is welcome to grab a screenshot if she thinks it’s worthy of posting! :D)

I’m only on level 25 and just sent Lisa on a 24 hour task as part of School’s Out Forever (Krabappel quests).
Right after I started that I was given the “Thanksgiving Meal Pt. 1” quest that needs Lisa to host a peace feast (I already placed the table).
Since there’s a new Thanksgiving task each day, should I try to stop the School’s Out Forever task? Will I miss anything by not completing Thanksgiving Meal Pt. 1 by midnight today?
You should be ok not completely that task today…as long as you got you’re table you’re good.
But until next week try to only send Lisa, Homer & Flanders on short tasks…and avoid 24hr ones if possible.
If you wanna cancel just store the school or building being used in the quest.
