Hey Howdy Hey Turkey Tappers!
Woohoo, it’s finally Turkey Day here in the US! And you know what that means? Turkey, mashed potatoes, apple pie, pumpkin pie, football, stretchy pants and insane sales at the mall! You may notice things a little quiet around here today (you can always find all the latest on the Thanksgiving Update here), as the Addicts staff celebrates the holiday with their families but don’t worry we’ll be back at it tomorrow!
However, we couldn’t let a day dedicated to being thankful go with out a special THANK YOU to all of our AMAZING readers! We are so thankful for each and every one of you taking the time to read our posts and comment! So from Wookiee, Bunny, and myself THANK YOU!!!
Now for a little extra fun. In my family, and many families, we have a tradition on Thanksgiving, we go around the table and each take a turn saying what we’re most thankful for over the past year. So, I thought it would be fun if my Addicts family each took a turn and shared with you, our AMAZING readers, what we’re most thankful for this year! So with that being said….
Well said Fuzzball, and sucking up the the boss will get you everywhere!
What Bunny is Thankful for….
Well I say it all the time and will continue to say it again and again. I LOVE our readers here. Without you, we would just still be talking to just ourselves. Lol. You guys add to the fun and excitement that is the Addicts.
I am thankful I still have a lil family left to see on Holidays. Gatherings are smaller but just glad to have someone there.
Thankful for my eye sight, so I get to sit and giggle while people watching all the craziness that comes out of “humans” this time of year.
Thankful that I am alive and have amazing people in that life. Like Alissa and the Fuzzball.
So I guess now it’s my turn….
What I’m MOST thankful for is my AMAZING Family. Especially my husband who has been an amazing source of strength and support for me over the last year…and who was willing to celebrate our anniversary in Disney World, just to make me happy 🙂
I’m so grateful that I have 3 sisters who are my best friends. I see so many families who are barely speaking to each other…or this one isn’t talking to that one. But in my family…my sisters and I all talk daily.
I’m thankful for all 7 of our nieces and nephews (and 1 more on the way)! Two of whom are coming over this morning to help us make Thanksgiving breakfast!
I’m thankful for apple cider Sangria…which will help me get through the day at my in-laws later today.
I’m thankful I have a job that allows me to tap & blog while at my desk. (just don’t tell my boss…)
I’m EXTREMELY grateful for all of YOU. The amazing readers of this site (and the crossovers of FGA)! With out you we wouldn’t be here. From the little blog that could, the the amazing place we are today we owe it all to you!
And last…but certainly not least…I’m so thankful for my two best friends Bunny & Wookiee! Their laughter and love help keep me sane when I need it most!
Here at Addicts we’ve all been blessed in so many ways and we hope you have too. In that spirit we’d like to invite you to take a moment and let us know in the comments below what you’re thankful for this Thanksgiving! We can’t wait to see what you come up with!

So, as Thanksgiving draws to a close (in my time zone) and I check my email, I would like to say that I’m thankful for my family and my friends. Especially my friends that stick with me through the weird. And I’m thankful for the wonderful team here that post amazing guides walkthroughs and break downs on all of the stuff in our games. You guys are serious with it, and yet mix in more much humor and wit than I would think possible.
Also, Bunny, sorry about being a brat (plenty of other words come to mind, but aren’t the most family friendly) on the new neighbor screen page. It was uncalled for, when you put effort in it and made it all nice looking. So, again, sorry.

I’m thankful my brother introduced me to the game and this site. I don’t see him or talk to him much, but every day I visit his lil town, it makes me smile and I love to see his creativity on display! I think of him every day and that makes me happy.

I’m thankful that I live in United States of America.
Times have been hard but other countries have things much worse.
We have the eye of the tiger and will survive.

I feel like I am last in line for the Addicts thankfulness, so ditto. And at the end of the day, with cooking utensils, pots and pans, service ware, dishes, flatware to clean up I am most thankful for the guy who invented the dishwasher. Seriously. I am on my second load with at least one more to go…..

Happy Thanksgiving to you all. We’re don’t celebrate it over here, but either way I’m thankful to have the family and friends that I have in my life. I’m also thankful that I have a beautiful Godson who makes me smile every time I see or think of him no matter how much of a bad day I’ve had at work.
