Christmas has arrived in Springfield! Doesn’t the snow look glorious?! Of course…that feeling will last until December 26th…and then we’ll all be waiting for what’s next! 😉
Anyway…as I was saying, Christmas has arrived in Springfield and this year Santa has decided to take advantage of Springfield’s great Tax incentives and build his workshop in Springfield! (Of course Global Warming had a little something to do with it too…Lisa tried to warn them!) And naturally now that Santa’s in Springfield, a new event means an all new questline to follow along with!
So now let’s take a look at just who you need to keep free and for how long to progress through Part 1 of Christmas! (Remember…this event will be broken up into 2 parts…Jingle Bell Wreck is the first part and that will run until 12/24. At which point the second part of Christmas will start!)

And that completes Part 1 of the Christmas questline! You’ve got PLENTY of time to complete this before it ends…so DON’T Rush it! It’s a great questline with a really fun story…so make sure to take the time and enjoy it!

I’m already at Jingle Bell Wreck Part 12 and I need to send Springfielders to make toys. It seems only Homer is able to make toys for this part. Why isn’t anyone else able to make toys?

There’s a task that I cant seem to complete, Mayan marge.. Its states I’ve placed my Mayan calendar but when I try to complete the part that says send Mayan marge to wait to sacrifice herslf , it won’t let me.. It states need Mayan calendar? Can anyone help?
Try storing the calendar and replacing it. If that doesn’t work contact EA and let them know what’s going on..
Im stuck on one quest , how do I send federal agents to other Springfields? I have many friends on my tapped out account but when I click it, it directs me

Sorry if this has already been asked, but I finished Jingle Bell Wreck Part 7 and haven’t been able to get Mr. Burns to trigger Part 8, even though he’s free. I hard closed the app as well, without any luck. Is Part 8 dependent on a different quest line, or is this a bug? Thanks in advance 🙂

Yikes – I’ve been working assiduously and strategically at this questlines, even planning to stay on the game a lot later than usual tonight to wait for Lisa to stop making her list and send Homer on his next task (although I draw the line at setting alarms to wake up in the middle of the night or speeding up tasks with donuts) and I still won’t hit Part 9 and the Feds until the day after tomorrow. *sigh*
I can’t wait to get that feature!
Is anybody else stuck on the quest where it says do 6 tasks for santa and when you click go to it sends you to the elf cave….it has said 4/6 tasks completed since yesterday and i am already done with all five caves that are currently open…please help
Try tapping on the Santa icons in the task menu.
so I play TSTO sometimes like 6-8 times a day, and this Christmas Promo JUST started today for me about 2 hours ago, when I go online and it started for most people a couple of days ago.. how much of a disadvantage is this going to put me at, because I don’t have doughnuts to use

It may seem all is expensive in the beginning. Don’t worry, you will get there eventually. Just keep playing and you will earn money faster and faster as you get farther along in the game.
If you have the time to play the game constantly right now, be sure to send your characters on tasks that are an hour long or shorter (that maximizes your income from them) and be sure to fill up your neighbors list to the max and visit all of them every day. Have neighbors is a really good way to make money and XP and pretty easy to do… Just use the Add Friends post on this site and, if necessary, Google up some other sites that have Add Friends lists and you’ll be able to fill up your list pretty quickly.
As Bunny said, earnings will get faster as you earn new characters who can go to work for you (and eventually, when you max out your Friend Points from visiting neighbours everyday for a while, you’ll start to earn TRIPLE $$ and XP when visiting them!
What’s Finks reality helmets about? Cost?
It is just his task. As he is a premium player he gets a better payout of gifts when he completes the task to build toys. 4 for premiums. 2 for regular characters.

How do I send Feds to neighbours? When I visit, I can collect gifts, but there is no ‘Feds button’
The ability opens up as you progress through the Christmas questline. It’s the second part of Part 9.
I tapped on the presents on all of my friends… yet accumulated ZERO presents in my total today…

Same happened to me as well. Wait 12 hours or spend the doughnuts to complete the mission? I am letting the mission run its course as the 24hr clock doesnt start until YOU start the mission. That is a great feature they added this time unlike with Stonecutters where the time started at 12:00am PST really messed up peoples sleep cycles.
I found our about the homer 24 hour task too late. Just a heads up, check door four first before assigning homer to 24 hr task. Cool thing though. Marge, Ned and his kids and Bart all have Christmas related tasks as well,that earn presents! Hope we get more decorations down the line. Any idea how the Christmas village and homer Santa skin is? Is it worth the donuts?

Oh noooo!! I accidentally put Apu to do his 7-day task yesterday and now I cannot use him for the “tunnel” tasks.
You can store the kwik-e-mart to knock him out of it with out using donuts 🙂

THANK YOU SO MUCH. It seems like all the tunnel tasks need Apu and I’ve been sitting here whimpering about all the presents I’m not earning! -On a side note, once you START the first task for any tunnel, you have 24 hours to finish all three- the timer doesn’t start until you start that tunnel’s first task, it doesn’t matter if you’re doing tunnel 2 on day 4 or anything, yay!
If u store the kwik-E-mart in your inventory it will store apu in it as well. Then place it back and u can have apu do the tunnel task!

I finished part 2 but part 3 and the elf cave are not coming up. Anyone else having that problem? Any thoughts on how to resolve? Thanks.

Hmm…it should popup in the store. Try a hard close and a reload and see if that helps..
I’m a regular freemium player since christmas 2013 (last year) and a regular reader of this site since about the same time. Is it me or this is the most busiest event since a year?!?! Regular quest, daily quest, gift collecting from elf, resident, neighbor, fed agent(not there yet). In the past event, i remember being able to not play for 4 hours straight and being optimal on everything (without donut). Now, i feel i need to check every hour to not miss anything and start or restart a task. I went to the washroom every hour to hide and play today + played sometime in between. Was such a non productive day at the office today…
I remember the stonecutter event being busy, but not as much as this one… Anyway, as an heavy addict of this game, i don’t know how will i concentrate at work for the next month.
All right, back to the game.

No. That is incorrect. You DO benefit as they can send Feds. Feds give you gifts.
