Now for today’s Santa Daily Task. Just tap on the Elf Tunnel itself to be taken to all available Tasks.
Or tap on the Santa Daily Tasks Shortcut Icon in the top right corner of your Springfield. 
Here is today’s Santa Tasks.

Again, you have plenty of time for these tasks. The 24 hour timer starts as soon as you being the first task. You can still complete the tasks past the 24 hour time, but you will NOT get the bonus 100 Gifts. So I suggest plan ahead to hit the timer BEFORE 24 hrs if you need those Extra Bonus 100 Gifts Each day.

Hi, I have a dilemma. I’ve reached Tunnel 5 for the event but only have Burns (I’m a low level) to help me finish the High Roller tasks..but that means it’ll take me approx. 22 hours out of the 24 to get the bonus presents which I think is nearly impossible!
I’ve gotten the prompts to build the penitentiary for Snake and also the one for Skips Diner, but does anyone know if there are prerequisite quests to get to Quimby? Quimby satisfies the High Roller category so I hope to get him soon. But, I don’t really understand the quest prompts system so I don’t know how long it’ll take to get him 🙁
Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
Krusty is also considered a high roller.

Thanks Alissa! I’ve checked out the walkthroughs already and love how helpful they are. But I’m still unsure if certain quests are independent of each other or connected such as Wiggim’s quests eventually prompting Quimby’s, or Quimby’s popping up on its own.
Have you used Krusty for the high roller task? Bunny’s handy chart (http://tstoaddicts.com/2014/12/05/santa-daily-tasks-elf-tunnels-info-tunnels-1-4/) doesn’t have Krusty as a High Roller..can anyone help me confirm this? Sorry for all the trouble!
You do have to complete them in order, unfortunately. Especially at the lower levels. I do know Krusty works for high roller, i sent him myself. It’s a newer change for Krusty, I think Bunny just forgot to add him 🙂

You know it. They looked awesome with my arrows and fabulous outfit when we fought the war with Sauron. But that was a long time ago.
We should start a fund to buy Bunny a wig, as I am sure she has started to pull all of her hair out by now 😃

Just curious about the 24 hour timer. Do you have to complete a task or collect a task to be good? For example, if I send a critter to task and it is completed before the 24 hour time limit but asleep and cannot tap to collect until later… Still good?

Ahhgg, grrr. Wish I would’ve read this last night. Forgot to tap and clear Lisa for last task on tunnel 5 before I went to bed. I lost the bonus 🙁 Will definitely remember for further tunnels.

Does Santa stays after the event, now he has tasks?

I also have Homer on a 24 hour task and will miss out on the tunnel prize. I tried “storing the building” trick to shake homer out of his task but it did not work. If anyone has any other ideas, please share. I hope to not have to spend the donuts, but maybe I will skip this one since it is only a snowman and 1 elf reward.
You won’t misses the snowman and elf, just the 100 present bonus. If you haven’t even started that tunnel yet, you won’t lose anything, because the 24-hour clock only starts when you start the first task in a particular tunnel.
Oh poop, I was counting on Homer’s task being 4hrs or less since I sent him on strike last night and started the tunnel right after it opened. No bonus for me. I think I can still get the number of presents needed to be caught up, but the extra elf would’ve been helpful. Lesson learned.
You can still get the elf beyond the 24 hrs, just not the bonus presents.
I feel like so many people just want to dwell on the negatives of the game, yes it has its flaws, I love how people complain that they complete events to soon and are bored or have nothing to do. You guys need to prioritize what is most important to you. Yes I would love to have Homer explore the cave I invested my heard earned money on, but I made a decision to focus on event tasks instead,

Keeps saying tsto has stopped when I try getting on the game was fine couple hrs ago It was saying can’t connect to server but after I uninstall nd reinstalled nw says tsto has stopped straight after get to the bit that shows fox.

To get the 100 present bonus, does the character have to just complete the last task within the 24-hour time frame, or do I have to actually tap on the character who completed that task by then? For example, if Homer finishes slacking off in the middle of the night (within the 24-hour window) but I don’t tap on him until the next morning (after the 24-hour window), do I still get the 100 present bonus?
You have to completely clear them all out. So make sure you tap on them.

Opened Tunnel 5 early this mornng – right after sending Homer off on his 24 hour task in the storyline. Don’t make this same mistake! I can’t possibly get the bonus now.
Did you already start the first task and trigger the timer? You don’t start the countdown until the first task triggers it.
I did it hours later, but before I knew Homer’s slacking off task would take 6 hours. So yeah, I blew this one by being too eager. Oopsie.
yeah I feel you I have 9 quests to complete 8 of them require Homer, its a little frustrating I keep using donuts to try to catch up but to no avail. Ive had to store various buildings at different to unlock characters for the tasks, but then I look at all the free prizes we are unlocking and I Think its well worth all the hardwork I loved Halloween and all the prizes this is so much better.
You can if you spend the donuts to speed up homer. I don’t know if it’s worth it to you. I’m in the same boat.
Sometimes it’s worth it to put a building or character into inventory. It resets the clock on what they were working on, but you can start that task over after you send them off to what you would rather have them doing. Pulling the building out of inventory doesn’t take any build time.
Or, of course, you could spend donuts to instant-finish their current task. Your call. I usually avoid spending donuts so I’ll sometimes do this trick. I had to do it today when Homer was in the nuclear plant (Jingle Bells Wreck pt. 7) since I wanted him doing the “slack off” task before the timer ran out on Elf Tunnel 5.
My day 5 tunnel won’t open, and I can’t access by clicking on the tunnel or through the icon in the top right. I have to go to the Santa head only task list and click “Go To,” but it still won’t let me “View” the tunnel. Anyone else with this problem? Any suggestions?
Try to back out of your game, restart your device, then try again. Also…see if any of your characters are still on tasks that need to be checked off from previous tunnels.
My tunnel 5 is jammed too all previous complete and all characters free 😞
Visit Krustyland and/or a neighbor and hop back. See if it helps.
EA really got to us on this one! First they had Apu to go to the hospital to recover from all the shoppers, then made it a L-O-N-G one, well over the normal 24 hours. And to kick off tunnel 5, he starts it all off. I’ve got to wait 1 day 9 hours to begin (losing the 100 bonus) or pay 18 donuts. Thanks EA, I’ll wait, I hope everyone else does too that’s in this situation. Seems a bit unfair to me…….
They also kept that in mind which is why you have as much time as you want to unlock the tunnels. They just open them. It is up to you when you start the first task in it to actually trigger the 24 hrs countdown. You DON’T have to start it the moment it is launched. 😉
Hi, in the task list Santa’s entry shows “Complete Santa’s Tasks” 4/6, but there’s nothing else that needs doing. Is that because the remaining two are for tunnels that aren’t active yet?

? Do you mean can more make toys? They can as you continue to play through.
I really like them! It’s similar to the Stonecutters which was a lot of fun too. For Halloween I eventually got all the prizes, but it did take a very long time to get them…. So I think this is better as there are big prizes that take a while and smaller prizes each day; something for every kind of player…

I like those Santa Tasks – yet I’m a bit nerve-wrecked as to Homer being needed for those Tasks and the main storyline as well – which makes planning ahead even more complicated. Currently, i have Homer in a 24h-task, so i need to calculate the time i need for the Santa-Tasks 1 and 2 to complete and then have a) Homer ready and b) enough time to finish within those 24 hours for _this_ tunnel-Task, but well, it’s a nice idea so – LIKE!

I’ve got the first three done, with the fourth 50% complete. Since I’ve got Homer on strike for 24 hours, I’ll more than likely wait until late this evening to start Day 5.
My game has locked my out of the Tunnels for some reason. When I tap on the tunnel it doesn’t open and if I try and use the icon in the corner it flashes and does nothing. The same happens if I open the Tunnel through the quest to complete the tasks; if I tap on Tunnel 5 to open it it flashes and does nothing. Can anyone help? Is this a global issue or just in Bluestacks?
Try to tap on the Santa Icon in the task menu instead. Or use Town Hall to locate a character on one of the tasks and tap it from there.
Go visit a neighbor and come back. You will have access.
