Working hard to catch up with the presents, currently on 12364 presents… So that’s about 1600 presents to go… Wish me luck. I wasn’t really interested in the nativity scene, but now I know it’s animated and has cool jobs I’m getting very interested. Gonna be fun!
I was visiting my neighbors tonight and for the last 5 visit I received NO presents from any of the Feds or buildings! Anyone else have that problem?
Were you maxed out of presents from actions?
I didn’t know you could be! What is the daily max?
It depends on the player…but anywhere from 90-120 actions is what we’re seeing.

Hi Julie, sorry u r still having problems with your hand after the surgery. Sounds almost worst then before the surgery. That’s a bummer. Can u use it? Talking about your hand.
It will be nice for u when Jamie gets back home. Also, for Garfield. Lol. It is always nice to get good news from the teachers. I imagine Jamie is a little doll. He looks so sweet in that picture u sent me. How is his little sister doing? She is so cute.
My man was really confused today. He got up really late, around 3:30 in the after noon. He came out of his bedroom for the day and still had his pajamas on. Had a devil of a time to get him to get dressed. Then after he ate his breakfast, he said he was going to bed because his watch said it was after midnight. Finally got him to come and sit with me in the living room. He seemed okay after that. Lol
Is Scorpion_Mum with u? Lol. Love the name, as u can see. I have her in three of my towns. She grew fast. Her name is Louise? Forgive me if I got it wrong, please. Has she been able to help u? R u able to do most things?

Me again..Just read more of tonight’s post and I completed what I thought was part 2 of the tunnel.. I have just the nativity to earn on the presents, but I have no Homer Santa?? where does he come from??? boy am I confused.

I never get donuts from Feds, just presents and points. The real reason I am posting. I do not know where else to go. I play on a kindle.I purchased the $49.99 donut unit. I have tried so many times to buy again and I get a message that my purchase did not go through, and would get an email when the problem was fixed. This started 15 Dec. Still waiting????
I would contact EA again if it has been over a week.
So if this is my first Christmas, I only can earn the prizes from past Christmases and none of the new items I am seeing on my friends’ pages? Color me blue.

You mean prize number 5? It does look like Bender, but I’m pretty sure it’s the Annual Gift Man. I’d rather Bender though. :p
I reached my goal of the 2000 doughnuts today and I’m sure it said you’d get doughnuts for this but I didn’t anyone else have this happen?

Yup you get donuts after you clear the prizes and earn 2000 presents 🙂
When I reached the 2000 presents target the task changed to ‘Done’ but nothing triggered so I went to Krustyland and back again which cleared the task and brought up the normal bonus box screen. Might be worth a try if the task is still stuck.
Anyone else getting screwed over on the elves (causing less presents!) Do the math: 4 to start, 19 from tunnels is 23, plus 4 more from the 5 day bonus is 28. I play multiple times daily, all 19 tunnels completed, and only have 22! It’s disappointing…
I have 26, people are recording all different numbers. If you feel as you’re missing some, you really should contact EA.

When I visit friends I occasionally see Homer flying around in the sleigh.. When does that unlock? And prolly stupid question but when does Santa’s Deliver Presents quest start?
It’s a 24 hr task for Santa Homer. Santa’s task should unlock during Part II.
Oh gotcha. I don’t have Santa Homer. I kinda figured the Santa task would unlock on Christmas Eve, lol.

Does anyone else have a glitch with their Writer’s Building? It seems that every single time I log into my game – or even coming back from visiting friends – I can collect the money (over $180) from the building. Not that I’m really complaining because every time the money stays in my total, but I was just wondering if anyone else was experiencing this problem!
Some folks have reported it. Definitely not a bad glitch to have.
It does the same coming back from KrustyLand as well. I’ve seen it on both iOS and Android devices. The amount of cash and XP is low, and the effort to collect it is significant enough that it probably isn’t a high priority right now.
And now it’s fixed…. sigh!

He has all of the Tunnel Challenges completed; and the “complete santa’s tasks 19/19” questline is complete for him too; he showed me on his phone
Should he call EA? What else can be done? Is this a known issue for Android users? I have Iphone

Just a random thought, I think with the latest level update, the BBQ should not be unique. But Homer’s version of the BBQ that ended up being “art” should have also been added. That should have been a unique item because who else would assemble a BBQ like that other than Homer?

Completely agree, at least you know what BBQ Lurleen will be using though, so she won’t be hard to find :p
Also, being unique, it should at least contribute to gluttony too.
Got cheated out of 78 donuts towards the new 2,000-presents goal. Made the mistake of hitting 4,000 by ringing my elf bell, so it didn’t count the 78 presents more than 4,000 towards the new goal (I guess because, technically, that didn’t start until I got awarded my final prize, etc.).
⚠️ So for anyone who’s closer to 4,000 – if you’re going to hit that limit by collecting elf presents, be sure to collect them MANUALLY until you hit 4,000 and the new present count starts…then you can go ahead and ring the bell to collect the rest automatically. Wish I had known to do that myself!

Ouch! If I understand you correctly, you were just a few presents shy of your goal, and rang the bell. This collected all of the elf-presents and put you 78 presents over your goal, so when you got your award, the 78 didn’t count towards the next one. Well, thanks for the warning….

Exactly! The same thing happened to me, but it was 46 presents that do not count towards the extra donut rewards.
Yeah I did this mistake in the beginning too. 79 or soo didn’t count.
I am at the point where I will be glad when Christmas is over. Between rude customers, the whole “Christmas/Happy Holidays” crap, being really sick and the complete melt down my bank account it has been a nasty month.
I am close on the prizes for this event, but am finding it tough to make headway after I finished the Elf Tunnels, there is just no way I can get into the game every 4 hours.
I know this is the wrong site, but WTF Ravens? You have a legitimate shot to win your division and that is how you play? Against Houston of all teams? Way to hand the division to the freaking Steelers.

I completely get what you’re saying about being happy for Christmas to be over. I used to love Christmas but I work in retail too (14 years of selling makeup) and it gets old. the music on repeat, the customers who are tired and cranky and take it out on us. fighting people for parking, coming in at 6:30am or working till 1am, it’s exhausting. and the Christmas/happy holidays like you said, makes me sad. shop! buy! consume! get the best deal! $$$$$$$$$$$$ it’s not what Christmas is about. I’m counting down the days, not till Christmas, but until the holiday hours are over and everyone can just relax and resume a normal life again. I’ll still enjoy Christmas with my loved ones but I’m ready.
Hello everybody! First time commenting here but I’ve been visiting the site since I began playing Tapped Out about a month ago. Love the site! Very helpful, thank you all for working the way you do to make this info available to all of us, much appreciated!
Question: Now that I have finished all 19 of the daily tunnel tasks, is there any need for me to keep the tunnel out in my Springfield, or can I store it without consequence? It’s taking up pretty valuable real estate, and, quite frankly, it’s kind of ugly. I don’t believe it provides any multipliers or revenue/XP at all, so, am I better off putting it away until I need it again, either for Phase 2 of the Christmas event or next year?

Because of the elf/tunnel glitch I’m probably not going to get the nativity scene. Wish I could buy presents. Any chance it will be available in part 2 for some donuts?
Right now I’m not seeing the option for it..but I would try contacting EA and let them know you had a glitch. You never know they may be able to add some presents to your account… You can spend donuts to speed up the Prizes…but it’s not something we usually recommend doing.

Yes…you can. You’ll have to go through the prize list and then you’ll see the “buy now for…. donuts” at the bottom.

Yes, I just think at the moment we’re all full. But we’re deleting inactive players a lot…so you never know 🙂
My husband is threatening a TSTO intervention. I’m glad to have a few days of more casual play before Christmas Part 2 begins.

The Korra finale was a little bit of a let down, Kuvira just seemed to have a change of heart out of nowhere. Also, I thought the best ending would have been for Korra to scrifice herself in the Avatar state to save the world. I wasn’t in the shipping part of the fandom, so I didn’t really matter to me.
As for our game, I am really liking ths event. It’s the 1st one I’ve had friends to visit, and that is thanks to this site and all of you.

Is Barney or Duffman a better Tapped Out character?
If I had to pick, I’d go with Barney, he has some great outdoor animations and the Bowlarama adds tasks to other characters. Duffman’s are all outdoors though if pelvic thrusting outside buildings sounds like it’d be more fun for you. I’ll leave it to the forum for more opinions though.
I don’t have either, but Barney is on my “want” list, for whatever that’s worth….
Odd that they made the BBQ unique and so expensive. Would have been nice to have some for parks and backyards. Hmmmmm.
