Hey Howdy Hey New Year’s Party Animals!
Well it’s officially midnight here on the east coast and that means….hello 2015!! Are any of our favorite Tappers still sober?! Are we?! 😉
As with all major holidays around here we thought it’d be fun to take a look into our personal lives and share with our favorite Addicts our resolutions for 2015! Hey maybe this will force us to all stick to them! (you can check out our resolutions from 2014 and see if we stuck to them here)
So here goes…first up Wookiee’s plans for 2015:
Wow… another year gone by. They go so fast. One of my friends has a theory that they go faster in areas with great weather so maybe that’s why since I live in beautiful Southern California? 2015 is the year of the new Star Wars and Jurassic Park movies so there’s that bonus. Can you resolve to make the weather warmer?
People make resolutions every year to be better and some succeed while others fail. I find it much more productive to resolve to be a better something year round. Endeavoring to be better is admirable. Lose weight if you want to, stop smoking, drink less, love more.go to Finland… just DO IT! If you backslide, who cares? Try and try again. Maybe January 1st should officially be declared something like an unbirthday so we can make resolutions every day. How about Happy New Day?
I’m rambling because I don’t like New Year’s resolutions. I said the same thing last year and gave you definitions of the word resolution lol. I honestly considered just copy and pasting the whole blurb. I hate to see people set themselves up for failure. Maybe we should all resolve to not resolve? Damn the ssytem… up with the people lol.
Anywho… Every year I always promise to remember the people I love that love me in return. Daily I strive to be the best me I can be and I think that’s what matters. Resolute… I choose to be me and love those who like whatever that is. My Wookieemama always says to resolve to get to the things that you talked about last year that you were supposed to do the previous that were written about before and talked about even earlier. Sometimes she’s deep and funny like that.
So here’s my resolution… I will be a better something. Much love and I hope 2015 is even better than 2014. Good luck with all your resolutions and know I love ya all even if you resolve again the next year.

Bunny hopping on by here to take some reservations from Readers for the New Years. Huh? Wait? WHAT??!! OH!! MAKE SOME RESOLUTIONS!! That makes a LOT more sense.
Got it. Well, since these “Resolutions” are basically “dreams” that just ain’t gonna happen, So… why not have a lil fun with it. Now if THESE come true…well that’ll be ONE HECK OF A YEAR. Let’s mix in some fun and some possibilities. WHY NOT??!!
#1: Get 10 Kisses from Cute Guys from the U.K. (They GOTTA be taller than me. They GOTTA have a cool accent. A girl can dream, right?)
#2: Go for a ride in the T.A.R.D.I.S. (Cuz Timey Whimey Travel is cool.)
#3: Explore Ireland, Scotland, New Zeland. (Because it seems like some beautiful country there.)
#4: Meet at least 100 New people in person. (I get nervous as heck in public, you wouldn’t know it…but I do. So I challenge myself.)
#5: Get 50 Letters written to me. (Because, why not. NO ONE writes letters anymore. So much more personal, but a forgotten trait.)
#6: Do stuff. (Stuff is important)
#7: Lose Weight. (Gotta have that one there.)
#8: Get new glasses and contacts. (More a reminder to me. Lol.)
#9: Donate more time. (I love working with Charities)
#10: Donate more money. (I just never feel like I gave enough. Always wish I had more so I could give more.)
I think that is a good set there, don’t you? Have a fantastic New Year Everyone. You KNOW how much I adore you all. 🙂

So I guess it’s my turn huh?
Like Wookiee I hate making resolutions. Mostly because I never stick to them…but if I make the others do it I’ve gotta do one too right? So here goes….
Last year I “resolved”, among other things, to lighten up a bit and share more of my cheesy side with you guys. And I think (and of course you guys can let me know) I did pretty good at sticking to it. But there’s always room for improvement…so this year I “resolve”:
-To get better at time management. With two blogs, a full time job & a husband I’ve got a lot of “balls in the air” at any given time. Some retooling and organizing of my time is better for everyone (especially me!)
-To let a lot of the “little stuff” go. 2014 saw a lot of drama behind the scenes and as the year moved on it got better. So here’s hoping we’ll continue on that drama free path in 2015…
-To go to the gym more. Time management comes into play here too. I’ve had a gym membership for the last several months but I’ve barely had the time to go. Time to start making the time….
-To spend more time with my two favorite nuts…Bunny & Wookiee. And meet more of YOU in 2015!!
2014 has truly been an amazing year for us and we can’t wait to see what 2015 has in store! We also can’t wait to share with all of you the great plans we have in store for the coming year! (SPOILER ALERT: it includes completing one of my resolutions, MORE contests & some other things you guys have been requesting for a long time!)

Lucky me! I dont get to participate in homer’s mini games and donuts because my game keeps crashing. So glad to see this continue into 2015!!! Maybe a resolution to not re-install is in order?

Happy new year to all. My New Years resolutions is to spend more time with my family. To admit I have a simpsons addictions. Is there any simpsons addictions meetings out there? LOl. I think someone’s trying to help me keep this since I’ve been trying to log into my game for 4hrs. I keep getting the Bart screen. Is anyone else having this issue? Or I’m the only unluckiest addict to start off the new year with a bust.
The one day I am off work and I can collect bells from the cannon every 3 hours and i keep getting the server down Bart screen. Not a good start to the new year!

Having spent the last 7+ months of 2014 essentially bedridden, I was very happy to say goodbye to 2014 last night and am hoping for a much better, and healthier, 2015!
I’m not one for making New Year’s resolutions, but I will need to lose some of the weight I’ve put on from inactivity and the high-calorie eating I’ve been doing, first to comfort myself and then because of the GI issues I started having, with left me with few foods I could eat (one of them being Edward’s New York style cheesecake, which I’ve become completely addicted to!).
I would also like to be a more thoughtful person this year… Going through what I’ve been going through, I’ve experienced, first hand, how much of a difference other people’s thoughtfulness has meant to me and I want to pay that forward.
Okay, sorry…. I’ve gone an gotten all serious here! But I guess my last resolution shod be to make sure I don’t let this addictive game get in the way of my work, when it starts again in earnest next Monday!

Happy New Year!!!! I agree with all of you Bunny, Wookie and Alissa we make resolutions and don’t see them through. I’m stealing this Wookie- Happy New Day!!! As long as I wake up with air in my lungs and can see my husband and two munchkins I’m good. 2014 for me was rough I had total knee replacement and recovery has been tough. Lots of family drama, my hubby got hurt at work but in all I made it.. Lol on the flip side my kids are making A’s and B’s they love school. My dog had puppies, I met you wonderful people.. So if I had to make one to follow the trend mine is to self reflect from 2014 and make myself a better person overall, a better wife, mother, daughter and friend. To travel more, laugh more, and listen more. Bunny I will be your pen pal and write you..

Happy New Year! This article made me smile & put me in a cheerfully good mood, so thank u. I hope 2015 “treats” u well. In 2013 I achieved my most desired goal (I lost weight & got in shape), it also brought a lot of changes difficult to cope with, it was rough to say the least. 2014 was way better! Thank goodness! I’m very grateful for new opportunities. I’m still adjusting to the radical changes I’ve been through. Like last year my resolution is to have inner peace, so I can be strong for myself & my loved ones. 😊

It’s 6:15 am if the New Year and all I got now is a spinning doughnut for the last 3 hours, have they been doing maintenance or is the server down?

Happy new year all! It’s 10am here in the UK and I’m at work bleary-eyed. Fiance is a DJ so I was out at the club with him last night. I’m getting too old for this stuff! I can now officially say I get married this year, so my resolution is to start a successful and happy marriage 🙂
Happy New Year to everybody – or, as we say in my homeland, Blwyddyn Newydd Dda (more on that later).
I’m not making any resolutions, as I can’t think of anything I need to change. However, I am looking forward to seeing the new Avengers, Jurassic Park and Star Wars films this year – and hopefully Wales (my homeland) will qualify for Euro 2016, as well as doing well in the Rugby World Cup as well (this will be tough, though, as we’ve got England and Australia in our group).
Has to be Welsh, no? Nothing else looks quite like that, I think!
Had a lovely time in Wales many years ago… The only word I learned that stuck with me was “Araf,” because it was painted on so many roads lol!
(Oh, and my husband’s of Welsh ancestry, though he doesn’t speak the language or anything.)
Yeah, you guys got a pretty tough draw for the rugby World Cup. I’m just happy that I’ve got my tickets to go see us (Canada) play the paddies in match three at the Millenium stadium in Cardiff. Maybe I’ll see you there lol
I went for an 8 hour tattoo session, came home and pigged out on the wife’s awesome buffet, and played Zelda monopoly with the kids. Everyone made it to see the ball drop with Ryan, the latest the kiddos have gotten to stay up since last year 🙂

No resolutions here. I spent it locked up in the bedroom watching Jersey Boys while everyone else played beer pong and smash bros! After another day of cooking and dealing with a couple of serious Disney infinity addicts I needed the cool down lol
Holidays are over, well almost but at least the cooking is! Should have our tile and carpet soon (major plumbing issues) and the twins start school this year! Yep, it’s going to be a good year!
Oh and Wookie, it’s not the weather it’s age! The older we get the fast time goes!
Another year gone, they seem to be getting shorter and shorter. So considering that I’m gonna have to party way more, keep drinking and smoking because life is short and I’m gonna enjoy it. Let me know how those diets work out, good luck happy new year and keep up the good work.
