  1. All the cool stuff I want costs donuts, so I do without.

  2. also if you click to buy it it will pop up in your town and you can move it around and see if you like it in your town.. you have to accept it (I have confirm donut spend checked) before the donuts come out of your account, so you sorta can..

  3. Wish they would offer more things we could buy with our Springfield AND more land! Still love this game. Totally!

  4. It’s cool saw it in a neighbors town but way too expensive!

  5. Too many things cost doughnuts and are very expensive. Don’t think I will purchase this.

  6. I don’t even like it so it’s an easy-peasy choice. Not on your nelly!

  7. No chance of BUYING this item for me!
The only item I’m looking for is BARTMAN !!!
I’ll (hopefully) earn enough donuts via neighbourhood visits and prize boxes to afford him.

  8. Not gonna happen. Waaay too expensive.

With Radioactive Man or Bartman, maybe…

  9. As a hard-core Simpsons fan I really can’t figure out where this one comes from but it looks really cool. Really really expensive though and I really wanted but I also want to save my sprinkles far Bartman and Fruitbat mant if/when they are released

    • Can’t put my finger on an episode myself, but I want to say it was in the “background” during a Kodos and Kang space scene at some point? Sorry if that’s a “captain obvious” comment lol

  10. I wish there was a try before you buy option on some of these really expensive items/buildings/characters. Or EA should have a link to a video of the item showing off how they look in game and what animations, if any, they have.
Some of these single items are more expensive than fully featured games. I used to think people were mad buying FIFA every year as that hardly changes but at least that’s once a year, expensive items on TSTO are coming around every other month.

    • My “try before you buy” strategy is to look for the item in one of my neighbors’ towns, to get a general sense of design, size, etc. Granted, you don’t get to see what it would look like in your own town, but it’s generally been a good enough alternative for me.

  11. We can exchange tickets for currency in Krustyland again!! They fixed it

  12. Also, for me anyway, Krustyland tickets are exchangeable again too.

I’ll be passing on the fortress, looking cool isn’t enough for that many donuts.

  13. Made mistke on last post. I’m pretty sure the flying radioactive man fortress makes money but still not enough of a deal breaker to make it worth the sale…

  14. Cons:: of the floating radiation lair.

    1. Doesn’t look really that good design wise.

2.almost 20 bucks just for a building that doesn’t make any revenue and one task.
3.for 20 dollars you can get Harry plopper + the lizard guy and complete the set as well as have 2 extra ppl in you’re town that do tasks.

    4.they both come with buildings.

    Pros: 1 .it’s limited time so it’s a collectable.

    2. Comes with task.

In conclusion Id say if you have the money to spend and u love this game then sure splurge.

But if you want to have more for ta buck and you don’t have much to spend like other reg normal hard working ppl. Then I’d say best bet is to get the two extra characters plopper the pig and the lizard guy that both come with buildings.
In my opinion its a better deal and more satisfying…

  15. z-Man saying you can put it right on the water is a nudge to buy it for me, but it’s almost $20 for something that I currently have no place/use for. I really want it, but I’m a bit stingy on buildings/decorations with no usable character and with NPCs I might buy if it comes with a collection. I’m hoping it is useful in more than just looks, but right now a SIB post is what will swing it for me.

    • I still working off a boatload of Gil’s xmas donuts so for me it was a no brainer & the fact it goes directly on the water was a neat bonus since land is a premium but yeah it’s pricey.

  16. It’s like clockwork that every time we get an event EA releases a big ticket item on us.

  17. waiting on the SIB post but i have to add that you get $$ and xp unlike the 300 for the whale! Wondering if we might get event currency with it! That would explain the price! As always xoxo TSTOAddicts! Always appreciate ALL the hardwork you do!!!

  18. Seems like a waste of donuts. It doesnt even earn event currency.

Maybe if it came with Radioactive Man it would be worth it

    • But he died at the beginning of the Event. EA wouldn’t retcon his death midway through the event. Maybe after a few months, then maybe they would.

  19. Way too many donuts for this!

I’d rather pitch in an extra 25 donuts and get DUFF MAN!!!

Hope everyone is having a safe and productive end to February. I’m just enjoying some pan pizza from PIzza Hut, and being thankful for what I have.

I personally am glad I got Brandine for 100 donuts. I have 80 days left until the first kid is born! 😀

  20. This is one of the coolest items in this game & you can place it right on the water. I have mine surrounded by the islands 🙂

  21. Got it. Looks pretty cool. Yes it was expensive but super unique looking.

  22. Im soo impatient i wanted to start crafting asap, because i wasn’t able to craft everything at Halloween, so i spent 150 doughnuts to get to 29000 pies, I don’t have enough for this item, but if the should I Buy post says its like super mega awesome then i will have to pull out the wallet again hahaha

  23. Wow, that sounds like way to many Donuts compared to the benefits. Thanks to EA offering ever more expensive premium items, I am cured of my completionism by now, so this will be a pass for me.

  24. Seems very expensive, unless there’s something about it that I’m missing…. Look forward to reading the Should I Buy post when it comes out!

  25. Snagged it immediately!
I just think it is too awesome. XD

  26. I’m in the same boat, like the look of it, although imo it may be a tad pricey. As I’ve mentioned before sort of new to TSTO so not sure if this is how the pricing goes on stuff, so it may be the norm, just sounds like alot of donuts. Like the post above me said, its bad timing as I dont’ want to waste my donuts to find out something I would rather have come up in the shop and not have the money for it.

  27. I wish there was a way to preview these things in game. I guess a neighbor will get it and I’ll see, but it’s really expensive and i dont have enough donuts right now, saving for Bart man.

  28. I got it, lol. Love the way it floats. I have put mine on a few extra Squidport tiles and have it floating over the ocean.

  29. looks like they had another update and took the rad station away again huh?
