Hey Howdy Hey Super Tappers!
Issue 4 is upon us and it’s a epic boss fight! Who doesn’t love a good boss fight? It’s the perfect ending to an awesome event!
The cool thing about Issue 4 is…it’s unlike anything we’ve seen for this event so far! It’s completely different than the past 3 issues and it’s not frequent tapper centric! Issue 4 is completely doable for the occasional tapper…as long as you can log onto TSTO at least a couple of times a day (to reset tasks).
So, with a whole new Issue launching you guys have TONS of questions! And while we’re always around to answer any questions you may have in the comments I thought one central place for the most commonly asked questions (and some quick tips for the event) would benefit everyone. So it’s time for another Addicts Question Corner!
Let’s start things off for those of you experiencing glitches….
My Entire Event Reset! I’m Back at the Beginning & don’t see anything for Issue 1. What do I do?!
We’re starting to see this trend a bit in the comments. It seems several of you have had this happen…and it’s awful! Here’s a few basic troubleshooting steps to try…
-hard close and restart your device. Then restart TSTO. See if that helps.
-If not try a full uninstall/reinstall of TSTO. (restart your device after you uninstall)
-If that still doesn’t work then it’s time to contact EA. You can contact EA a couple of different ways. We ALWAYS recommend trying to get a Call Me Option to trigger…as usually the phone reps are much better than the chat reps (provided you can get a phone rep not located overseas). When filling out the contact form put in that you’re missing an item…often times that will help trigger it and technically you are missing an item.
Additionally, someone has started a thread over on the EA Help Forums for this issue. So you can head over there and add a Me Too to the issue…the more players that “light up” the issue the better it is for everyone…
Criminals Are Not Appearing for Me, What do I Do?!
So Criminals will not start spawning until after you’ve completed the first hero fight against the Statue. (after you’ve sent the first 5 heroes to attack it) You’ll then see some dialogue popup from Fallout Boy talking about the statue being magic & Radioactive Man hating magic. After that some dialogue will auto-start from Fallout Boy telling you to tap Criminals. You’ll then get a popup saying Tap 30 Criminals. At this point Criminals should start spawning in your game. You can tap the Do It button next to Tap 30 Criminals and that should bring you right to where some are.
Note: Also try going to Krustyland (or visiting a neighbor) and coming back to your Springfield. Often that helps clear something that’s stuck.
IF you’ve done all of this and they’re still not spawning (even after clicking the do it button) try the basic troubleshooting listed about. If they still aren’t spawning it’s time to contact EA. Again we always recommend triggering the call option if possible.
Additionally another thread has been started on the EA Help forums for this issue. So light it up! 🙂
So now let’s talk about the non-glitch related questions…
I Only Have 4 Characters, Can I Still Complete This?
Absolutely! The tasks run from 3-4hrs, so if you have less than the 5 heroes it takes to defeat the Statue just simply send someone twice. So instead of it taking you 4hrs to defeat it, it will take you 8. Still completely doable. Just remember to try and log onto your game when those 4hrs are up (or as close to that time period as you can get) so you don’t lose valuable time.
Where Are Moog, Ice Princess Martin & Sexy Stupid Flanders From? Can I Buy them now?
These are skins from events of TSTO past and currently not available in the game. So no, unfortunately you cannot get them now.
Moog was a free skin for Moe from Halloween 2014.
Ice Princess Martin was a free skin for Martin from Christmas 2014.
Stupid Sexy Flanders was a premium skin for Flanders from Christmas 2014.
I’m Having a Hard Time Finding Criminals, Is there An Easier Way?
Absolutely! When the task pops up you’re going to see the option in blue for Do It. Just tap on that and it will take you to where the Criminals are..you can do this as often as you need to until you hit the 30.
What’s a Good Pace For Me To Be Playing This To Get Everything In Time?
There are 5 levels and just under 7 days to play this phase (Ends March 31st). Try to complete 1 level (defeat) per day and you’re golden. Do more than that…even better! For example most of you should be able to get the Rad Mobile today (2 defeats) just because the first two parts are simple.
So just play on a pace to get at least one defeated Level/day and you’ll get everything in time!
Level 1 should be completed by end of day on 3/24
Level 2 Should be completed by the end of the day on 3/25
*Awarded Rad Mobile
Level 3 Should be completed by the end of the day on 3/26
*Awarded Kane Manor
Level 4 Should be completed by the end of the day on 3/27
Level 5 Should be completed by the end of the day on 3/28
*Awarded Radioactive Man
What Order Do I Need to Complete the Tasks in?
Here’s the quick breakdown:
Level 1- 5 Heroes to attack (try to complete by the end of the day on 3/24)
Level 2- Clear 30 Criminals
-Send 5 Heroes to attack (try to complete by the end of the day on 3/25)
Level 3- Clear 30 Criminals
-Send Fallout Boy to Research the Statue (12hrs)
-Send 5 Heroes to attack the Statue
(try to complete by the end of the day on 3/26)
Level 4- Clear 30 Criminals
-Send 5 Heroes to attack the Statue
(try to complete by the end of the day on 3/27)
Level 5- Send Fallout Boy to Meditate (12hrs)
-Send Fallout Boy to Deal the Final Blow (8hrs)
(Try to complete by the end of the day on 3/28)
The tasks will appear via questline in that order. Remember you cannot jump ahead with this, so you’re not able to complete a task out of order. The questline will guide you through what to do and when.
What Happens to the Statue When I’ve Defeated it?
The statue will remain in Springfield and you’ll get the option to change it’s appearance. If you tap on the statue it’ll show you a toggle screen, where you can choose which version of the statue you’d like to display in your town. You can go with the original…non-glowing version (you know the one you purchased in the store)..or any of the glowing versions that were shown while you were defeating them (see list above for images). So you can choose which statue version you’d like in Springfield…
Currently the Statue can only go in Springfield…
Do I Still Need my Prison?
No, you can store the Burns State Prison if you’d like as it no longer spawns Felons.
What Are the Friend Actions for Issue 4?
There are no friend actions for Issue 4. Friend visits have returned to normal, where you take the $ signs over their buildings (or other icons) and get money or FP (if applicable). In return they’ll receive a handshake in their Springfield when they return.
Be sure to leave items in your town for your neighbors to tap, as now you must have buildings available for tapping (unlike before).
WARNING Vandalism is back! So be careful who you tag if you’re on the no vandalize list.

My ‘The Collider’is missing. He seems to be stuck in the old super collider building. I can’t put that building into storage. What can I do? Thanks.
The Super Collider can’t be stored? Have you tried Townhall?
I did. It goes to the Supercollider building. I can tell he is in there but I can’t get him out.

Noticed something new just now. My Android notified me that Bart was finished his battle with the boss. Go in game, he still has about 15 minutes left. Anyone else noticing it being out of sync with notifications?
Yep, that happened to me too. I was told Lisa was done with a task and when I went in she wasn’t. Not quite as bad as you had it though, she only had a minute or so left.

I am sorry to see Phase 1-3 go. The red phones were easier to see as were the radioactive symbols. Since Phase 4 has started I am finding it difficult to find things to tap on in neighbor’s towns. Apparently the same for them. I am finding hand shakes from the same person spread out. It would be nice if they reset quick like they did earlier in the event. Part of making money is clearing out the dollar signs, check books etc. How often are supposed to clear those out to make sure our neighbors have something to tap on?
Up to you… as a rule, I tap on any building that generates about every 4 hrs or so and try to keep at least half of my town open. You have to have uncollected rents for people to be able to tap in your town.
Just to clarify, if the money sign is up then my neighbors can collect right? I don’t click the money sign that often and want to make sure that my neighbors can click on it.

I had vandals too so I deleted them. If it was an error on their part, they can friend request again. When I visit and only the canisters are available, I visit another neighbor and return visit later.
The “don’t vandalize” thing is silly. you gain point toward your percentage when you clear vandalized buildings. And you can always buy a few training walls to counter any loss from vandalizing. theres really no reason to have that rule.
On another note, This has been a great event, my favorite so far. Love The Collider, Fruit-Bat Man, Petroleus Rex and all of the other Super Heroes. I Love seeing them all fighting “the big bad”, ha. Can’t wait to get Radioactive Man! His car is my new favorite vehicle in Springfield.
May seem silly to you, but to a lot of players they don’t like it and take it very seriously. No matter what they do, they don’t want to be vandalized. It’s a really hot button issue…

Do all the characters keep the task to fight the statue after you get Radioactive Man for the final prize?

You said Radioactive Man has a task to fly. What’s the task? Time wise I mean.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this. I just can’t seem to find a link with the proper info. Kinda new to TSTO, and the whole friend point thing. I notice some buildings have a cash icon, while others have a checkbook type icon. Is there a different payout rate depending what you tap? Or is it just distinguishing restaurants vs houses, and pay is the same? I know not to tap any buildings with a spray can of course. 🙂
No difference in payout… icons differentiate the ype of building just like you thought. Happy tapping!
When its all said and done, what is the likelyhood that by storing the statue it will also store Radioactive man? I dont like the statue but would hate to loose out on seeing Radioactive Man everyday.
Hard to say at this point, since you aren’t able to store it yet.
The statue is getting a nice worshiping place behind comic book store in my Springfield 😀 but burns prision and Heroes HQ bug me.

If you have all the heroes and send them all attacking, and it finishes a battle while some heroes are still finishing (because some finish faster) what happens to the remaining heroes attacking. Does it count for the next battle or you have to wait for them to finish and it doesn’t count towards the next one.
When you reach the 5 heroes objective, all the remaining heroes still attacking also finish their task.
So no getting ahead.
I think they finish their task and you don’t get any payout for them – so there’s no point to sending more than 5 at any one time.
Looks like you should wait for them to finish, and only tap 5 of them (including Fallout Boy since he’s needed most of the time to progress) I tapped my last hero early, and they all stopped what they were doing, and I had to re-start them for the new quest.

Did I completely lose out by not spending all of my capes, cuffs, phones and picks yesterday?
Yup. Everything from issues 1-3 is now gone
What a scam. There was no reason, knowing there was an issue 4 to think that those items would become useless today.
There was every indication in the game that the event ended on March 24th. There were countdown timers EVERYWHERE in the game. on the Criminals, on the crafting guides, on the prizes…everywhere there was info for the event in the game there was a countdown. plus we said it twice here yesterday. I know it sucks and not to sound like a complete jerk…but honestly what more would you like EA to do? Give you a personalized phone call to let you know it’s ending? They had timers everywhere that it was coming to a close…everywhere. Here’s just an example of the crafting guide one:

Not to mention multiple warnings from this site to finish up crafting yesterday alone.
From a narrative perspective it makes sense considering the story that this event was trying to tell. The point of the first 3 comics is the ongoing crime spree, which is stopped by issue 4. Plus the countdowns all said it would end, and it was announced here.
I just started Level 3 and found you can’t run the “Send Fallout Boy to Research the Statue” and the “Send 5 Heroes to attack the Statue” concurrently. WEAK, EA! WEAK!!! Now I have to wait 12 hours before I can begin my third attack.
WEAK!
They’ve got to add some level of difficulty to it…you’re still way ahead of the game.

I had a chat with EA Support about the Criminals Are Not Appearing for Me, What do I Do?! issue and this is what they told me:
“Look jfnok there might be some problem regarding server synchronization and some of the game data might not be visible in that. So you just need to wait for atleast 24 hours to resolve your issue.”
I hate the chat support. It’s awful…were you not able to trigger the phone call?
Phone calls are only available for US and Canada.
Chat support is all we foreigners get. That, or occasionally an option to have an email exchange. Chat support isn’t great, and there’s often a long wait, but they seem to sort things out eventually – they always have to ask the ‘specialist team’ first though..
I had the chat option available the other day in Australia. I was surprised because I’d never seen it before. I should also note is was about 3am In Australia, so I don’t know of that had anything to do with it.

Started first battle an hour ago with 7 hero’s 🙂 hope i finish every prize
This has truly been the best event so far. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed everything and thank you, TSTOA, for keeping us informed every step of the way.
Oddly enough, although I still get my criminals, I’ve never had the Dr. Colossus criminals show up. Meh, still very happy and this is an excellent end to this event.
I only had 4 heroes available at first, to begin attacking the statue. Now that they have finished fighting, I only need one more hero to attack once, to complete the first phase. If I send all my heroes to attack, will the extra ones count toward the next phase, or will they be wasted?
You can try it that way…Bunny did and it worked for her. Personally I haven’t tested it…
It didn’t work for me. I had 7 heroes attacking, only cleared 5 of the thumbs-up symbols, then tapped the 30 criminals and came back to statue and the last 2 heroes had been auto-cleared. When I started the next round, there was no credit for the extra 2 hero attacks. No biggie since I have enough heroes to have 5 attacking all at once and still have Fallout Boy available for the other tasks.
Still the best event since I started playing just before Stonecutters started in 2014! Especially glad that Radioactive Man is freemium, and won’t cost a bunch of donuts.
It didn’t work for me. The extra attackers were just wasted.
It didn’t work for me either. The when clicked on the 5th thumb it just released all of them.
Didn’t work for me either. I sent 9 heroes to fight, and when I tapped on the 5th finished hero the others auto cleared. No credit for them when I started the 2nd round of battle. I guess Bunny’s special, lol! No biggie, its fun watching them fight. Just wish Milhouse, Ned, Martin and More were visible when they fight…I’d love to see that!
For me I just had to click on 1 thumb and they all finished (mine all finished at the same time)
It absolutely did not work to me and I’ve done two rounds so far. Each time 5 attackers finished, then the next quest line dialogue began and all the remaining attackers were “waiting for something to do” after the dialogue ended.
But you all sent your heroes at the same time? What if you sent them an hour or two later? Or sent all 4 heroes again? I guess the second option would end the same way as sending more than the 5 needed at the same time.
Any thoughts on Bonus round donuts if we complete early? tho I’m not sure how they’d do it since we are not collecting any currency now.

THAT was fun while it lasted! I collected almost 100 donuts this event.
Seems many others are in the same donut boat as well.
Just a quick hint- if you are willing to sacrifice 10 donuts to have the required five heroes finish, any remaining heroes will also finish, free of charge. I rushed only the 5 premium heroes, and when I tapped on each one’s completed thumbs up icon, all 6 of the other heroes also finished the task. Just a little suggestion to consider to keep 3- and 4-hour cycles aligned.
I saw in 3 neighbors of mine a beach house with a H on it…. I looked over the last post with all the prizes and dialogue of quest but don’t see anything about a beach house!! Can you shine any light about this? I googled it and the simpsonswiki website said March 23rd then March 29th!!!!……
Those players are playing with hacked/modded games (ie they’re cheaters). Currently there’s no beach house in the game. As far as if/when it’s coming? It’s up to EA. We’ll have to wait and see. However, it is not currently in the game. So there is no legal (non-cheating) way to get it.

Nice to be able to relax and not have to grind out the final home stretch. Great animation to finish an excellent event. And again, Bravo the great job you guys do!
Anyone else have an issue with their bonus percentage going down? My bonus dropped by 2% and I still have 5 stars and have not put anything into inventory.
I noticed that mine has decreased by 2% as well and I still have 5 stars. Hopefully it’ll go back up after the event is removed.

I’ve only added neighbors from the no Vandalize list, and sadly, today I ended up getting vandalized four times. Didn’t quite have five stars yet, but still disappointing.
I want to keep my five stars so I added hidden training walls around town. The wall is only $270 and people vandalizing doesn’t matter anymore.
