Hey Howdy Hey Super Tappers!
Issue 4 is upon us and it’s a epic boss fight! Who doesn’t love a good boss fight? It’s the perfect ending to an awesome event!
The cool thing about Issue 4 is…it’s unlike anything we’ve seen for this event so far! It’s completely different than the past 3 issues and it’s not frequent tapper centric! Issue 4 is completely doable for the occasional tapper…as long as you can log onto TSTO at least a couple of times a day (to reset tasks).
So, with a whole new Issue launching you guys have TONS of questions! And while we’re always around to answer any questions you may have in the comments I thought one central place for the most commonly asked questions (and some quick tips for the event) would benefit everyone. So it’s time for another Addicts Question Corner!
Let’s start things off for those of you experiencing glitches….
My Entire Event Reset! I’m Back at the Beginning & don’t see anything for Issue 1. What do I do?!
We’re starting to see this trend a bit in the comments. It seems several of you have had this happen…and it’s awful! Here’s a few basic troubleshooting steps to try…
-hard close and restart your device. Then restart TSTO. See if that helps.
-If not try a full uninstall/reinstall of TSTO. (restart your device after you uninstall)
-If that still doesn’t work then it’s time to contact EA. You can contact EA a couple of different ways. We ALWAYS recommend trying to get a Call Me Option to trigger…as usually the phone reps are much better than the chat reps (provided you can get a phone rep not located overseas). When filling out the contact form put in that you’re missing an item…often times that will help trigger it and technically you are missing an item.
Additionally, someone has started a thread over on the EA Help Forums for this issue. So you can head over there and add a Me Too to the issue…the more players that “light up” the issue the better it is for everyone…
Criminals Are Not Appearing for Me, What do I Do?!
So Criminals will not start spawning until after you’ve completed the first hero fight against the Statue. (after you’ve sent the first 5 heroes to attack it) You’ll then see some dialogue popup from Fallout Boy talking about the statue being magic & Radioactive Man hating magic. After that some dialogue will auto-start from Fallout Boy telling you to tap Criminals. You’ll then get a popup saying Tap 30 Criminals. At this point Criminals should start spawning in your game. You can tap the Do It button next to Tap 30 Criminals and that should bring you right to where some are.
Note: Also try going to Krustyland (or visiting a neighbor) and coming back to your Springfield. Often that helps clear something that’s stuck.
IF you’ve done all of this and they’re still not spawning (even after clicking the do it button) try the basic troubleshooting listed about. If they still aren’t spawning it’s time to contact EA. Again we always recommend triggering the call option if possible.
Additionally another thread has been started on the EA Help forums for this issue. So light it up! 🙂
So now let’s talk about the non-glitch related questions…
I Only Have 4 Characters, Can I Still Complete This?
Absolutely! The tasks run from 3-4hrs, so if you have less than the 5 heroes it takes to defeat the Statue just simply send someone twice. So instead of it taking you 4hrs to defeat it, it will take you 8. Still completely doable. Just remember to try and log onto your game when those 4hrs are up (or as close to that time period as you can get) so you don’t lose valuable time.
Where Are Moog, Ice Princess Martin & Sexy Stupid Flanders From? Can I Buy them now?
These are skins from events of TSTO past and currently not available in the game. So no, unfortunately you cannot get them now.
Moog was a free skin for Moe from Halloween 2014.
Ice Princess Martin was a free skin for Martin from Christmas 2014.
Stupid Sexy Flanders was a premium skin for Flanders from Christmas 2014.
I’m Having a Hard Time Finding Criminals, Is there An Easier Way?
Absolutely! When the task pops up you’re going to see the option in blue for Do It. Just tap on that and it will take you to where the Criminals are..you can do this as often as you need to until you hit the 30.
What’s a Good Pace For Me To Be Playing This To Get Everything In Time?
There are 5 levels and just under 7 days to play this phase (Ends March 31st). Try to complete 1 level (defeat) per day and you’re golden. Do more than that…even better! For example most of you should be able to get the Rad Mobile today (2 defeats) just because the first two parts are simple.
So just play on a pace to get at least one defeated Level/day and you’ll get everything in time!
Level 1 should be completed by end of day on 3/24
Level 2 Should be completed by the end of the day on 3/25
*Awarded Rad Mobile
Level 3 Should be completed by the end of the day on 3/26
*Awarded Kane Manor
Level 4 Should be completed by the end of the day on 3/27
Level 5 Should be completed by the end of the day on 3/28
*Awarded Radioactive Man
What Order Do I Need to Complete the Tasks in?
Here’s the quick breakdown:
Level 1- 5 Heroes to attack (try to complete by the end of the day on 3/24)
Level 2- Clear 30 Criminals
-Send 5 Heroes to attack (try to complete by the end of the day on 3/25)
Level 3- Clear 30 Criminals
-Send Fallout Boy to Research the Statue (12hrs)
-Send 5 Heroes to attack the Statue
(try to complete by the end of the day on 3/26)
Level 4- Clear 30 Criminals
-Send 5 Heroes to attack the Statue
(try to complete by the end of the day on 3/27)
Level 5- Send Fallout Boy to Meditate (12hrs)
-Send Fallout Boy to Deal the Final Blow (8hrs)
(Try to complete by the end of the day on 3/28)
The tasks will appear via questline in that order. Remember you cannot jump ahead with this, so you’re not able to complete a task out of order. The questline will guide you through what to do and when.
What Happens to the Statue When I’ve Defeated it?
The statue will remain in Springfield and you’ll get the option to change it’s appearance. If you tap on the statue it’ll show you a toggle screen, where you can choose which version of the statue you’d like to display in your town. You can go with the original…non-glowing version (you know the one you purchased in the store)..or any of the glowing versions that were shown while you were defeating them (see list above for images). So you can choose which statue version you’d like in Springfield…
Currently the Statue can only go in Springfield…
Do I Still Need my Prison?
No, you can store the Burns State Prison if you’d like as it no longer spawns Felons.
What Are the Friend Actions for Issue 4?
There are no friend actions for Issue 4. Friend visits have returned to normal, where you take the $ signs over their buildings (or other icons) and get money or FP (if applicable). In return they’ll receive a handshake in their Springfield when they return.
Be sure to leave items in your town for your neighbors to tap, as now you must have buildings available for tapping (unlike before).
WARNING Vandalism is back! So be careful who you tag if you’re on the no vandalize list.

Does it seem like after an event you dont earn as much money? I have 2 more buldings to get, need $1708000 to get both and im just not earning as fast as I was during superheroes. Ok. Rant over now.
On a side note… we need to lobby EA to allow things from events to be moved to Krustyland. Like castles. And christmas. This superhero stuff would be great by the radioactive man ride!
I don’t know Krusty Land is somehow a failed and abandoned addon to the game. I know many of you like to decorate it, but EA is rather promoting more decoratives to the town lately and barely to Krusty Land.

LOL on roller coaster tycoon. Seriously, though, EA should allow old event stuff, castles, holiday stuff, etc. to be placed in KL. It would free up space and much of this stuff looks like it belongs in a theme park more than in Springfield anyway.
I still collect Kl money everyday and then convert it to Springfield money by clicking on
Krusty’s head/ the entrance. I get about 15000 every couple of days 🙂
I finished the first statue fight and I saw a quick pop up that said something about tapping the criminals but it disappeared and there are no criminals and no task to pop them… I am a bit confused as to what I need to do now…
There’s a glitch going around (as the post above says) EA’s working on a patch for it. My best suggestion is to contact EA so they know you’re impacted to. if it’s on record they may be able to compensate you if they can’t fix it.
I just got off the queue with EA – they said that the missing criminals glitch will have to be fixed with an update that they are trying to getup quickly. They don’t have an exact release time though.
So what is the statis on vandalism right now, I know that it was’t hurting our rating early in this update, but I am having friends tag my buildings and don’t want that to hurt my rating

Hi back again😏 I contacted Ea as advised. It was an American who spoke english! She said to watch for an update hopefully today as ea is aware of the issues and it is affecting a lot of people, hope is restored! Lol what was impressive is I did the call me option and they called me within a min of submitting that request.

Just had an in-game update hit (Android). Hopefully they fixed some of the issues a few players have been reporting.
I’ve worked my way through the statue and have radioactive man – the event seems over , as I have no more quests . However, I have not had the beach house appear for me. Any ideas? Thank you!
Beach house? Where did you hear about a beach house? Surely not here on Addicts because we only post things that are actually in the game.

I know, we have access to the same files they do. However, for the millionth time in the last day it’s not currently in the game so we don’t talk about it. It’s currently considered a spoiler. Until it’s live in the game we will not post about it here. EA has been known to change their mind about things (hello Giant Toilet and Hal Roach Apartments) and they don’t ever make it into the game. So as a policy we do not talk about things we see in the files that are not live in the game.

To be honest I got bored with this whole event and lost motivation to play at times…..events used to have a lot more quests in them and now it’s just tap this and craft that….it would be better if we had an actual story to go with it other than “stop the bad guys”….look at family guy every event has a story to it, sometimes more than one….it holds my interest and completing tasks gives me a reason to go back to the game hours later, to start the next task which incidently leads to tapping everything available…imo

I think it’s pretty cool that EA is giving new life to older premium characters/skins in the game. I also love that EA has brought old characters and buildings back for limited time events. It allows you buy something you’ve long wished for, and still keeps it special with the limited time. I just spent $50 more on donuts to get the little leprechaun. Clicking on him is so fun!! 🙂 For all the time I spend in the game, and all the entertainment it provides, it’s certainly not too high of a price to pay. Kudos to TSTO and EA for keeping me so interested (or you might say “addicted”) for so long!
It feels weird to tap criminals and not get anything out of them.
At first, I thought something was wrong when that happened. They should have popped out some cash and XP at least, even if it was a nominal amount.

Does anyone know if the radioactive man statue is a building that makes money(if so, how much, how often) or is it a decoration? Thanx and have fun.
P.S. Very much looking forward to the meet and greet this weekend. I’m from jersey and am honored that we are hosting such an exciting event. Last year we had the Super Bowl, now the addicts meet and greet. Lol.

Deco, but after you finish the event some heroes will have tasks which allow them to ‘fight’ it again.
This event so far has been a great one! Yes, some prizes required more collecting of items than others but overall, this event has given me 20+ new items/prizes for my town, who can’t love that!? But in a totally unrelated news that I wanted support for a while now, and since the boss statue and Death Mountain have dirt on the sides of them, but doesn’t anyone else agree we should have dirt/dirt paths and sidewalks as a sculpting tool along with roads, rivers, and parking lots? Its something I’ve always wanted since playing this game and along with that more nature options like boulders, hills, rivers, land elevation, etc. And please Tapped Out, stop neglecting the pier and Krustyland, expand on those areas and add more to them!!! I would love to see all these things implemented and if anyone else agrees, give me and TSTO feedback!
Weird. I was thinking the same thing when I saw the base of Death Mountain. The guinea pig rescue center has always bothered me with the dirt road and nothing to lead up to it.
Surprisingly, although milhouse was useless the whole event, he now manned up und became available to fight the final boss. So I have 5 superheroes, none premium. Anyone else notice this?

Well, Martin wearing a princess dress anyway. Glad that skin finally came in handy for something! 🙂 I do wish they had found a female hero for the event, even if it was just someone like Cool Lisa or Witch Marge or even Princess Penelope with her guitar!
My statue is just ready and my heroes started attacking it. Do you have hints, how I can catch up with the others? Just playing every 3-4 hours as often as I can, right?

I honestly hate the cars, the canyonaro is huge and now the radioactive man car.
if they could placed on the parking lots it’d be different. Or if the characters could drive around in the that would be cool.
Just never know where to put them in my town.
Something I have done in my town with cars and parking lots:
If I have something to put in a parking lot that won’t go there, I will make a parking lot, but put pavement squares instead of parking lot squares on the spot where I want to put the car or other item. For example, I have Otto’s school bus in a big parking lot next to my schools, but on the 2 squares under the bus, there is gray pavement instead of parking lot. You really can’t tell the difference without looking closely.
The Canyonero is meant to be huge, that’s the point. But I agree, the other cars are disproportionately big and it would be great to see them able to be placed on the roads or in parking lots – but then they’re too big to fit in the spaces!
I like the fact that Issue 4 does not require you to visit Neighboreenos to tap Buildings and Criminals. I like the fact that when you need to collect 30 Criminals, just clicking that Blue Quest Button brings you to a Criminal to tap. I like the fact that most of these Quests can be completed within a 24 hour period (I honestly think I may accomplish this final Event a day ahead of schedule). if Tappers visit the game at least 2 to 3 times a day, they will complete everything in time.
Sort of off topic, but I’m wondering what EA will do for Easter 2015 (hopefully allow noobs to obtain things from prior years, hopefully long time players will not be punished from last year’s crud – even though we did get a Freemium Character). 🙂

At first I was a bit upset there are no friend actions related to issue 4, since I had saved last nights friend visits for a good start…
…after visiting my neighbours I was a happy little tapper – found 8 precious donuts, what a wonderful thing to happen 🙂

I’m having trouble, my game is at a stand still after the first attack. Nothing is happening. I have log out and log in, I went to krusty land and back, I hard reset my device… I can’t get this event rolling…

A question I’ve seen a couple times is if you can interact with the statue post event… you totally can!
I know fallout boy has a task ‘Train for Future Conflict’ where he fights the statue. I’m glad the statue animations aren’t going to waste afterwards.
If we decide to get Bartman during Issue 4 (for just a different outfit for Bart after the event) Will all his job tasks have premium rewards? ($105 for 1 hour tasks? Or $70 like normal tasks?)
No, only Bartman will earn at a premium rate.
I am concerned. There were a bunch of felons wandering the mean streets of Springfield and now that the update has arrived they are gone.
Nobody incarcerated them, the super heroes are busy and Chief Wiggam is Chief Wiggam – so who will track them down and bring justice to the world? 😉

This also happened to me, i was not able to click the felons, went to my tablet and got the car then the felond. Then exited the tablet back to my phone and received the car again!
Yep me too. they’re now both lined up outside Superhero HQ. I’m fully expecting one of them to mysteriously disappear some time soon.
I have another question. It’s off topic sorry. I saw a teddy bear in one of my neighbors towns. It is the one from The Valentine’s Day episode that Marge gave Homer but he threw away. Kinda like Teddy Rubstein (sp) I thought I had everything. Can u tell me when this came out? Thank you.

You would have had to log in on Valentine’s Day and get the pop up for it to get it. If you didn’t then you won’t have it.
It’s soooo weird not having to tap the buildings twice to get rid of radioactive signs and visits – i feel like my town is sooo empty. And the neighbor towns too. I was used to taking an hour or so to tap my neighbors 6 times and now it’s only 3 an di have to look for places to tap. Change is hard. lol!
Sorry, this is waaaay off topic. I have always played “anonymously” meaning without an origin ID. If I decide I now want to play with an origin ID am I going to lose everything?
I’m in the 40s for a level and obviously am participating in this event. I would hate it if I lost everything I have worked for so far.
Nope you can create one via the game you’re currently in. Just go to the neighbor’s screen. Click on the handshake and in the bottom right you’ll see find friends in origin. That will allow you to create an account.

This is frustrating! I completed the first component of this new issue, and then my game froze and closed. When I reopened it, I am unable to access the rest of the quest line. There is no indication of new tasks in the notebook on the left of the screen. When I click on the Radioactive Man statue, I can see the quest line, but I can not click on anything (it shows that I completed the first battle–the rest of the tasks are grayed-out).
I have completed TWO phone calls with EA (overseas) help. They have not been able to resolve anything for me. The first call was worthless. The second one took about 25 minutes. She told me that I would be able to complete the last quest, but nothing has changed in my game. I know she was in my account, because they added a few donuts for my “inconvenience.”
Has ANYONE experiencing this problem gotten any semblance of a resolution? (And yes, I’ve done the standard troubleshooting. Uninstall, reinstall, reboot, sign-in, etc.)
Have you tried a trip to Krustyland and returning? Sometimes that helps a stuck quest…
I have tried everything I can think of. I’m at level 50, and a glitch this bad has never happened to me. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled at least 5 times, restarted my phone, gone to all of my friends towns, hoping that would trigger the quest, etc. Any rumbling from EA over this glitch that many of us are having?
The gal I talked to said that I would be able to complete the final task to get Radioactive Man, however, mine is still stuck after the first battle. No criminals have appeared in my town. Hopefully EA will come out with a patch!
Honestly I would contact EA again. Continue to do it until it’s fixed.

Well, calling EA a third time did the trick. I called early in the day, and was routed to Michael in Austin. After about 20 minutes on the phone, I was back in the quest!
He reset my game to before I started the challenge (I lost some of the buildings from my spending spree at the end of Issue 3, but he quickly put those back in my inventory), and gave me enough donuts to rush through the first few challenges. I was very happy with his service. When I described my problem, he knew exactly what I was talking about, and that he had already fixed it for 5 other people! Good luck to those of you experiencing the same difficulty.

I thank this site for helping me. I know without it this campaign would not have been so successful for me. Earned lots of donuts and other great free stuff. This is my second time playing the game got to level 36 the first time when I lost everything, a catastrophic event, a total nuclear meltdown, to this day I do not know what happened I was so mad I did not play for almost 10 months.

Because 2 new Friend Prizes were introduced. You have to be maxed out in Friend Points in order to get the chance to get them.
I got four donuts today just from visiting my friends!
@Heather — Your friends get FP and $ when you visit, and you get $ also. If your FP is maxed out, this might reduce the urgency to visit, but you should still do so in order to help out your neighbors who, after all, helped you get your max FP in the first place.
