Update 3/24 10:30 am: A lot of questions about what happens to the statue after you’ve defeated it. It does remain in your Springfield..and you’ve got some options with it. I’ve updated the post below with more details (right by the images for each level)….

Well it’s finally that time…Issue 4 is live!
The update should have downloaded for you yesterday afternoon..if it did this should start right up for you. However, if you didn’t download the latest update (in game nothing in the store) the files will have to download for you before Issue 4 can start up.
So now that Issue 4 is here let’s sort through the speculation and get to what’s in this Issue!
Fallout Boy will get things started (Should auto-start) and require you to build the Radioactive Man Statue. It’ll cost you $1,000 and takes 4hrs to build…

First thing’s first…the only new item you’ll find in your store initially is the statue.
Radioactive Man Statue- $1,000, 4hr Build Improves Obedience
After you’ve built this some more dialogue from Fallout Boy will popup…your screen will shake, dialgoue, more shaking, dialogue (it’s actually pretty cool). And then…..your Radioactive Man statue will start to glow!
At this point the “Boss Fight” begins! You’ll have to send Heroes to attack! BUT it’s pretty cool cause there’s now a TON of heroes you can send, not just the ones that have been active throughout this event. Here’s a list of who you can send to attack (and your first task is to attack, 5 times):
Ice Princess Martin- 4hrs to complete
Bartman- 3hrs to Complete
The Collector- 4hrs to Complete
Fallout Boy- 4hrs to Complete
Pieman- 4hrs to Complete
Clownface- 4hrs to Complete
Fruit-Bat-Man- 3hrs to Complete
Plopper- 3hrs to Complete
Moog Moe- 4hrs to Complete
Sidekick Milhouse- 3hrs to Complete
Stupid Sexy Flanders- 3hrs to Complete
Once they’re there to attack the Statue will become animated. It’s pretty cool actually his hand will come down and his head will turn to the side. Also, certain characters will state on the statue area and preform their attack animation..
Note: Sidekick Milhouse is back! You can purchase him in the store for 35 donuts…which means for those that already have him he’s now a premium character with premium payouts!
Criminals
Criminals are back! You’ll see ALL three varieties of Criminals walking around your town. This time however they will not popout any items. Tapping and clearing them is part of defeating the boss. So I STRONGLY suggest you wait until the questline tells you to pop them to do so.
Note: You won’t see the Criminals until the questline dictates that you tap them. So if you don’t see them right away don’t freak out. They won’t show until Fallout Boy tells you to tap them.
So now what’s next?
Well there are 5 battles with the statue you must complete in order to get all of the prizes. (we’ll get to the prizes in a minute)
You’ll have to send a number of Heroes to attack the statue in order to defeat it each time. In addition you’ll have a variety of tasks to do as well….
Level 1- 5 Heroes to attack
Level 2- Clear 30 Criminals, Send 5 Heroes to attack
Level 3- Clear 30 Criminals, Send Fallout Boy to Research the Statue (12hrs), Send 5 Heroes to attack the Statue
Level 4- Clear 30 Criminals, Send 5 Heroes to attack the Statue
Level 5- Send Fallout Boy to Meditate (12hrs), Send Fallout Boy to Deal the Final Blow (8hrs)

Update 3/24 10:30am EDT:
Note: Something I completely missed at 4am…once you’ve completely defeated the “Boss” the statue will remain in Springfield looking like it does under the completed list. HOWEVER…if you tap on the statue it’ll show you a toggle screen, where you can choose which version of the statue you’d like to display in your town. You can go with the original…non-glowing version (you know the one you purchased in the store)..or any of the glowing versions that were shown while you were defeating them (see list above for images). So you can choose which statue version you’d like in Springfield…

Prizes
This time prizes are a little different to earn. You’ll earn them when you defeat the statue. Each prize takes a couple more defeats. Here’s the breakdown:
Rad Mobile- 2 Statue Defeats
Kane Manor- 3 Statue Defeats (Earns $150, 13xp/8hrs. 9×9, 8hr Build)
Radioactive Man- 5 Statue Defeats (Completely destroyed). He does come with a full set of tasks…including flying.
And that my friends is it! The complete details (at least for now) of Issue 4…the Final Battle!

Just sent Fallout Boy to research the statue. Feels like they are forcing me to take a 12 hour break. What in the world will I do? Lol.

Ok I appear to have run into a bug here. I placed the statue and sent 5+ heroes to attack it. A couple of hours later I came back and finished the quest. A pop-up appeared telling me to tap 30 criminals. While the pop-up was still on screen the game crashed. I immediately entered the game again and the mission had reverted to the previous part (send 5 heroes…). It still says that I have finished that mission but it will not move on to the next part and there are no criminals to tap. I’ve tried exiting and getting back into the game, I’ve tried force quitting and restarting the game, I’ve tried moving the statue to the inventory (can’t be done). I’ve run out of options here. Any suggestions? I play on Android btw.
I have now tried playing on my cellphone hoping that would release me from limbo but it didn’t work.
Now I have tried every trick I can think of. Going to Other Springfield and back, going to Krustyland and back and opening menus and stuff while being in those places. I have have uninstalled and then reinstalled but that didn’t help eithe. Is there anything that I have missed to try? I will not nuke my town.
After contacting EA help desk I have learned that EA is aware of the issue and is working on an update. But the person I was chatting to said that I might have to wait 24-48 hours before the issue is solved, and she did not know if EA was going to extend the event because of this.
Thanks, a similar thing thing happened to me and now I can’t advance the quest. I’ll let EA know about it so they can work harder.

Both comic book companies (DC and Marvel) have a hero who is an archer. I just wish Archer Lisa (since her ACTUAL superhero wasn’t brought into this event) could be used to assist against the statue. She could have an animation against it similar to her “Shoot Arrows” 8hr task, without having to move around.
I placed my statue of Radioactive Man next to a Recycled Tower from the Clash of Clones event to at least make it seem like she’s there helping. I also have Marge throwing fireballs in the same area. I’d upload a picture to share what I’m talking about if I knew how to.
I wish people would stop crying about things on here. EA was voted worst company in the world for a reason.

He’s quoting the Worst Company in America polls done by The Consumerist from 2012 and 2013. Other winners have been Bank of America, etc. The winner in 2014 was Time Warner Cable though, EA came in second. Of course, the award is given by reader polls on an independent siteo so one has to keep in mind that happy people generally don’t vote in these type of polls.

Oh, nice! I was wondering why Milhouse could fight the boss in 3 hours – it never occurred to me that his Fallout Boy costume was now premium. I always like it when a character or skin that I got for free suddenly becomes premium.
And this issue is pretty awesome – I never would have imagined having a boss fight in a game like this. 😀
Ok, a little help please. Finished the first boss fight, and not getting the prompt for the next, all my people are free, and the boss is still glow8ng green. Tried reinstall, and nothing. Help?
Try visiting Krustyland and going back to Springfield. Sometimes when the questline is stuck that helps retrigger it
Whelp ran into this as well and Krustyland doesn’t help (thanks for the suggestion though). This sucks as effectively I cannot even get past the very first stage of this event and it seems somewhat tight on time with plenty of 12 hr tasks.

Tried that, but thanks. Did krusty land, other spring, all friends. Reinstall, cache clear, everything I could think of to no avail. Hopefully won’t lose out cause of this
Make sure you contact EA so they’ll know you’re impacted..hopefully they’ll properly compensate you
Looking for thoughts . . . I’ve been dragging my feet on buying Bartman or Fruit-Bat-Man skins (and am still 8 donuts shy) until this issue hit. I currently have seven heroes that can fight the final battle, so even with two more I still won’t be able to stack two teams of five fighting simultaneously, and would only have four heroes that can do a 3 hour cycle instead of 4. (I started playing after Stupid Sexy Flanders and Moog Moe were available, so didn’t even have the chance to pass up on those two.)
Aside from the personal nyuks, I don’t see either skin as worth the donuts, as I’m still saving up for Duff Brewery (I’ve prioritized Duff, then Otto’s Bus, then Frink’s Lab). It’ll take me more time, but just wanted to see if anyone has counterpoints or if maybe I’m missing something.
(I’m assuming there’s no more premium purchases coming during this event, of course…)
If it makes you feel any better, the “stacking” thing doesn’t work anyway…
If neither of those two skins have a major “gotta have it!” appeal for you, then I’d say you shouldn’t give them another thought. It’s better to invest in character/ building combos, unless there’s a particular solo character or item that really tickles your fancy. (Ultimately, the “joy” factor should receive the most weight, IMHO.)
Thanks to all of you for your thoughts. I finished the event just fine without the skins, with days to spare, but went with the “joy factor” and decided to buy both skins in the last few hours before they expired. I’ve been enjoying having the comic style speech bubbles for their mini-quests and am glad I bought them. Granted, I only had enough doughnuts left for two of the new and improved Mystery Boxes, but I’ve got plenty of time to build back up to my original goals. 😉
I was in the same boat as you, and I’d been so so good about saving and saving my donuts, and then boom Issue 4 hits and I somehow reflexively pulled the trigger twice and got both Fruitbatman AND Bartman! One little moment of weakness! Lol! And I still can’t stack five 3-hr premium characters cause I don’t have STUPID SEXY FLANDERS! Aaargh!
Then again, I’m not THAT sad about it. There’s definitely something to be said for completing Character Collections… 🙂

I’ve just got the rad mobile and sent fallout boy to do his 12 hour research task! Perfect timing because it will be bedtime soon here over in England lol and when I wake up it will be time to start part 6 of the attack! Certainly don’t need a full week should be done by Thursday! Not had to spend any donuts to speed it up and I have 5 characters only to fight the boss!

I decided to get the bartman suit, just to help out with getting radioactive man.
I also decided to do this, as no other suits I have for bart pay out premium.

Added the Radioactive man statue, send heroes to attack. Came back four hours later and the game was “reset” to the beginning of the event, only all of my building/character additions from the event are still in place, except the Radioactive man statue is gone.
Tried all the standard troubleshooting including a complete uninstall (except for using a different device, because I only have/use ONE iOS device.) Still the same problem. Argh!!!

I was a bit peeved at not completing the zenith build I really wanted a third apartment block so missed out on the store front an extra day EA andi would be happy.
Totally unimpressed with statue when the frack will that fit? Then saw the quest line brilliant I will screen shot every attack and all this premium stuff for free as well?

Should we expect a lull in any new updates with this comic book event, lvl50, and St. Paddys event being rolled out all at once?
I still think we’ll see something once Superheros is over…probably late next week (my guess is thursday)
If so, please let it not be a grind-out…
What do you think we will see? New level, episode tie-in, maybe Easter? I know it’s all a guess but I like speculation. Thanx and have fun.
Hard to say…I think we might see a new level. Or something with Herb Powell…since the brought The Homer in.

i truly hope they have some kinda easter event, even if it’s just a small thing like valentines day was, to bring back some of the characters, buildings and items that people inevitably missed one or two or a few of last year… haha, i remember my son and i wanting the building prizes most of all (johnny fiestas, banana dictatorship, blocko store), and at the very end of the event we were still short the blocko store. we put off updating the game to prolong the event, spent donuts to get more pink boxes, and scored the blocko store right before we ran out of donuts. my son was ecstatic, and you can be sure i was too! to this day the blocko store and the banana republic remain two of my favorite buildings in the game, and i can see ea cashing in big if they decide to resell them both for donuts (especially the lego–err blocko store), as a lotta people that weren’t able to win it or hadn’t started playing the game yet (like my brother) would be highly interested.
we missed out on several of the characters though, including father sean and sharry bobbins. i’m not sure if i’ll spend the donuts on something i had a chance to get free before, but it’d be nice if they brought them back. i’d also like to add some more of the pastel picket fences (NOT the easter fences) to my town, and more of the beach towel and umbrellas to my beach.
I dissagree with the ones saying they dont like the new stuff, Kane Manor, will look pretty good with my high end of town buildings, looking forward to getting it, the car is fantastic, and why shouldent Radioactive man be in the town with Fallout Boy, I have a bit of OCD and very perticular where I put stuff, the popisicle tower us in storage as does not look right. I put death mountain at the top of my town next to volcano lair and looks pretty good, when they were arguing was pretty funny, like neighbours doing one upmanship, only thing I have to agree with is the Radioactive man statue, even the the undamaged one looks pretty scruffy with all the stuff round it, maybe they could clean it up remove the stuff round it and leave a good looking one when we complete the tasks. I assume Radioactive man wins, so would be a fitting tribute.
The Radioactive Man Statue should have a Krustyland placement. That is a no-brainer… Huh, EA?

I find those buildings to be an eyesore and they don’t really fit in. Even the store seem larger than the other store fronts. As soon as I run out of space those will be the first one to go into storage.
Has anyone else had a problem with the game progressing after the first send heroes to attack quest, It says done but seems to be stuck and the next task hasn’t appeared?

Spoke to EA, apparently a lot are having the same issue. All I was told to do is log out and wait for a fix.
Same thing happened with me. Contacted EA and they worked with me on it by turning back time (unfortunately to before Issue 4 was released)
And when and where can we expect the beach house???
Currently the beach house is not in the game. This is information posted by other sites that’s speculation/spoiler information. We have not posted it here…because it’s not in the game. We do not report on things that are not in the game. Right now it’s pure speculation unless it appears in the game.
I just finished first round of 5 heroes fight, and was prompted to tap criminals. I did so, then my game crashed. I’m not sure if I tapped them all, but it says the quest is done, but no other quest comes up. Is something wrong, or do they only allow one battle per day?
No you can continue to move through it. It probably just got stuck. Try visiting Krustyland (or a neighbor) and coming back, that should clear it out.
Isn’t anyone else mad that radio active man is his own character when in the show he is played by Wolfcastle? Radioactive man should have been a skin for Wolfcastle
Correct me if I’m wrong but Radioactiveman is his own fictional character within the show, Wolfcastle only played the character in the movie adaption of the Radioactiveman comics.
Exactly my point! Radioactive man is nonexistent in Springfield. I’m just a realist and that’s how I feel. I only place people and things in my town that have been in the shows town.
If it’s any consolation, none of Springfield is real.

Apache, I have pics up at the 2 TSTO Flickr groups. Sometimes I wish we could contact our neighbors directly as my neighbor John has the best Zenith City I’ve seen yet. Perhaps I’ll grab some screens of his town when visiting & post them? I’m kinda hesitant to do that without his ok though!

This event has been fabuloso! But it would not have been NEARLY so much fun and I would have had a lot more false starts without all the information here at Addicts. I always wonder about how players do without the information we get here (or elsewhere). Is it like being lost in a corn maze that does not have an exit?
I am sure some find their way, but others have to be forever lost… I guess they enjoy playing the game, but unaware, not very well…
Nice relaxed ending to a hectic but great event!
It may have already have been mentioned but I just found that when you’re asked to catch 30 criminals you can tap the radioactive man in the task book and it will take you to the criminals rather than having to hunt for them. Just keep tapping the task book and you will find them all in no time☺
Small bug have sent report to ea but thought would see if others have the same issue.
the superior squad building is not giving friend points in my town… if I click it in other towns it gives points but if a friend clicks mine I get the handshake icon on the building but I do not get the FP other buildings in my town work fine
As a low-level player with only 4 hero characters (all non-special), is this issue possible for me to complete in the time limit? (preferably without spending the dough).. because if I need to send fallout boy to do other tasks, that only leaves three to fight.
You can’t send them to fight until after fallout boy does the tasks (there’s an order to it). And yup, perfectly able to. Just make sure you log on after the 4hrs are up to reset the tasks. (remember you’ll have to send someone twice. So instead of 4hrs to defeat it’ll take you 8)
So pissed, apparently that last update took my confirm donut spend off and I wasted 12 donuts to rush cash generation for Rainsticks etc.
As I am freemium that is a massive kick in the pills.
I advise everyone to check their settings.
My condolences! I think it has happened to everybody at some point. I kick myself when I don’t CHECK MY SETTINGS after any kind of change to the game even though I know I should. Every. Single. Time.
