The Thanksgiving Event hit our devices yesterday afternoon and a fun little event rolled out with it. Like all events, a questline was rolled out with it to help guide you through the event. If you ever get stuck with something in the event, just check out the questline and see what needs to be triggered next…usually you can get “unstuck” by following along with the questline.
So let’s take a look at the Turbo Tappin’ version of the Thanksgiving 2015 questline….

At this point you’ll unlock the content to purchase in the store…

Make Springfield Adults Angrily Debate Turkey Prep- x4. 6s, Earns $35, 1xp freemium and $50, 2xp premium
King-Sized Judgement
Homer starts
Make Fatsos Apply to Judge the Turkey Contest- x3. 6s, Earns $35, 1xp.
At this point the event itself will start, with your tasks to earn King-Sized Homer…

Homer starts
Make Homer Go on a Vision Quest- 1hr, Earns $70, 17xp
Gather Drumsticks x20- Tap Turkeys to get Drumsticks. You can also earn them by sending various characters on tasks. Ned, Marge, Apu, Quimby & the Tribal Chief can earn them. (Freemium earn 3 legs/3hrs, Premium 6 legs/3hrs) Tap Do It to see the task list.
Unlocks an Animation for Homer…
Gooble, Gobble, Toil and Trouble Pt. 2
Homer starts
Make Ghost Homer Give Real Homer a Heimlich- 3hrs, Earns $135, 35xp
Gather Drumsticks x80- Tap Turkeys. You’ll also unlock new characters that can earn them, the ones from part 1 will no longer be able to earn Drumsticks. Tap Do It to see the list (can send Tribal Chief, Dr. H, Wiggum, Krusty & Cletus)
Unlocks The Vast Waistband Building…
Gooble, Gobble, Toil and Trouble Pt. 3
Homer starts
Make Homer Visit the Vast Waistband- 7hrs, Earns $250, 60xp
Gather Drumsticks x70- Tap Turkeys. You’ll also unlock new characters that can earn them, the ones from Part 2 won’t apply to this part. Tap Do It to see the List (Can send Ned, Cletus, Comic Book Guy, Grampa and Tribal Chief)
Unlocks 360 Degree Buffet Table
Gooble, Gobble, Toil and Trouble Pt. 4
Homer starts
Make Homer Enjoy a 360 Degree Buffet Meal- 4hrs, Earns $175, 45xp
Gather Drumsticks x100- Tap Turkeys. You’ll also unlock new characters that can earn them, the ones from Part 3 won’t apply to this part. Tap Do It to see the List (Can send Skinner, Willie, Moe, Apu & Tribal Chief)
Unlocks the Turkey Stuffer
Gooble, Gobble, Toil and Trouble Pt. 5
Homer starts
Make Homer Eat Turkey at Maximum Efficiency- (uses the Turkey Stuffer) 16hrs, Earns $500, 125xp
Unlocks King-sized Homer
This completes the prize track questline…that must be completed by December 1st in order to earn King-Sized Homer. From here you’ll start up the King-Sized Homer questline, which we’ll cover in another post.
Just remember…when in doubt make sure Homer is free, since he starts every single part of this questline.

I’ve got King Sized Homer 😆 and he brings new quest line called ‘The fat and the futilest’ which start with King Sized Homer 8hr job. Are you going to post this quest line soon?

i just finished pt 2. where it says “Make King-Size Homer Let it All Hang Out at the Beach” … (6hrs) and he’s plopped right down on the sand with only his hat on. AMG!. i had to put a building in front of him to cover EA’s disgrace. rofl. now im on pt3. “Make King-Size Homer Chat Online with a Fat Support Group” … (16hrs)… oh mai
Just so people know, the part in your walkthrough about having characters earn drumsticks “the ones from part 1 will no longer be able to earn Drumsticks” is wrong.
You can no longer send them ON NEW TASKS to earn drumsticks, but if you still have them on their old tasks when you start the new part, they WILL STILL BE ABLE TO EARN DRUMSTICKS from the old job you sent them on (giving you a nice boost in the next part.)
I just made sure all 4 of them were on their drumstick job, and collected the last drumstick from a turkey – started the next part, THEN collect from the old character for 12 or so extra drumsticks!
Well if they’re already on the task… that’s a bit different, right?
You still can’t use them and send them fresh specifically for the new item. So the info is still correct. She doesn’t want to mislead people into thinking they can send them again as the option will not appear. 😉
I rather enjoyed this event, I wish we’d get more mini-events like this during the rest of the year. On a side note, I noticed Pirate Kang has some new tasks, and also Kodos now has a 10-hour task at the Gate to Nowhere. There may be others that I’m missing…
I’ve completed the gather 80 drumsticks and have made ghost homer give homer the heimlich, so it says done! On both tasks- but the next task won’t start :/ I’ve tried doing homers task again, I’m still collecting turkeys, I’ve gone to krustyland and back, visited friends and played the game on two devices but it’s not working 🙁 any tips or ticks?

Easter eggs at Thanksgiving that seems weird but this is what happened.
I didnt think in time to catch it in a screen shot but if it happens again I will screen shot it.
The message I got was at the top of my screen in a black box in which it said “congratulations you have gotten your 2/3 easter eggs”.
I have no idea what the Easter egg was and as I’m supposed to get one more I don’t know what to look for.
If anybody knows anything about what I’m talking about can you please post so I can learn about it thanks.

Ok after reading about the thanksgiving quest.. I saw nothing about the easter eggs…
Heres why I am asking.
I got on tsto to refresh my guys 3 hour quest, clean up all the $ and to get chars more quests for two hoursish. When i got a message in a black bar at the top of my screen that said “You have claimed your easter egg 2/3 ”
So I immediadely came here to find out what this was.. I looked all and did a search for it but alas nothing. SoI want to know what this is and how it affects things and how important it is.
Anyone seen this or got this or know about this?. Please let me know.

I just found Ballet Ralph has (I think ) a new 2 hr task to Hunt Turkeys!

I just randomly got given a Cornucopia. Came up with writing at the top of the screen saying I’d completed part 3/3 of some questline, but I never saw the questline anywhere and I can’t find any mention of it on this site? I received the cornucopia after finishing a few characters task of importing turkeys (or something to that effect). Some of the characters that I can remember that did it were Homer, Mr Burns, Bernice Hibbert and Fat Tony. Can anyone offer any insight into this?

Whee, I get King-Size Homer tomorrow morning!
Once you unlock the Turkey Stuffer, noone can generate drumsticks, but turkeys still spawn in your town and they drop a bit of XP. I think the base amount is 5 or 6.
You get 10 bucks plus 5XP and if you have the XP collider active you get an extra 60XP
All this “turkey-talk” has got me looking forward to Xmas dinner but who likes bread sauce? (Do you have it stateside?)

Bread pudding and bread sauce are two *very* different things!
I do , already made and in the freezer along wirh sage and onion stuffing and cranberry sauce . Just need pigs in blankets , English mustard and gravy to go with the Brussels , roasties , parsnips and peas and it’s game on ! One plus side to being stuck at home all the time is being extra prepared , I suppose .
I’m wondering about Mrs Bouvier too , anyone got her ?

What’s not to love about bread sauce? It’s not something we ate in my family growing up in Michigan but it is something I’ve developed a taste for since moving to England. I wish more people were into pumpkin pie over here–I could eat that year round!
I recommend her. The building is nice (great place to put the 360 buffet table) and her tasks are decent. (I mostly have her knitting, usually with grandpa feeding birds next to her.)

Looks similar to what we call country gravy. Don’t think they’re exactly the same, but probably equivalent.
There is a secret prize.. send the other people in your town to 2 hours jobs who connected to thanksgiving and u will see in the top of the screen numbers (1/3,2/3,3/3)
And thn u would gain a table with food who gaves u +0.5% to all jobs whn u place it

I’ve unlocked and placed the Vast Waistband building, however when opening the quest it’s still telling me I have to unlock it and not moving to the next prize? Also, now run I tap on Turkey’s they don’t give me any legs, just XP points??????

Post quest completion, I am still seeing turkeys spawned in my Springfield. I am earning 11 XP per turkey (yes, only 11, not missing another digit).
Based on what I’m seeing and knowing my bonus percentage, I think they pay out 5xp before your bonus multiplier is applied.
I’ve got the turkey as a pet and keep pressing thinking he’s going to give me a drumstick. Ha ha, I’m now on task 4 with out using any donuts to speed up so although the turkey spawning rate seems slow it’s easily achievable 😊
It is very achievable! We’ve been given enough days to gain all items without having to obsess over it. Also, gaining Homers skin is a 16 hr task, so no gathering drumsticks for that one. The 100 drumsticks is the last one. ☺️🦃

I’m enjoying this mini event so far. We don’t have Thanksgiving in the UK, so it’s a lot of fun to take part in the Springfield version.
I plan on moving there after I completely finish with college! And I’m glad that you can join in on the festivities with us through the app! 🍗☺️

Yes its 20 mins for 1. The Max I’ve calculated is 8 in Springfield. No extra spawn if you leave it for 20×8 mins. So no bank for them.
My game only generated 7 turkeys in 14 hours. 🙁 Is anyone else having this problem?
The max you can have in your town at a time is 8, so you might have missed one in your SF.
Did you leave the game for 14 hours? According to what I’ve read, you never get more than 8 so you can leave your game for a week and only have 8 when you come back, you need to tap every 2hrs 40min or you’re missing out 🍗🍗🍗🍗 🙂
It really doesn’t matter… you generate enough through the character tasks. Everyone should finish days early.

Alas poor Mockingbird Bart, I have tapped thee countless times mistaking you for a turkey. Thankfully I have Homer on the final task so I shall tap thee nevermore 😀 (At least never more than I had this event lol)

Why is it that I’m only getting like 3 or 4 turkeys to tap on? Sometimes when I login the game I don’t get any
they’re slow spawning with a max of 8 in your town at once
Loving this little event! It’s cute, fun, & very low stress. I’m working on the second prize & the Easter Egg was a nice surprise. Now to track down those turkeys!

I just left my game on for an hour without touching it and found 7 turkeys strutting around the small piece of road in that part of town.

Can I ask you guys for a tip?
I have 150 donuts. Should I spend them now either on the Casino or on Piggly’s??
Other option is to keep them for the Christmas stuff. Suggestions?? 🙂

Best thing to do when debating between 2 choices (besides pro and con list [available in SIBs]) Flip a coin. Assign one as heads and other as tails and flip (if you are not happy with the result and want to do best out of three that means you really didn’t want it).
Now for me, I got to flip a coin whether to refrance the Paralel Universe in a Box episode of Futurama or ask when we are getting a SIB for this years THOH NPCs. (Flip) … It fell in my glitchy time machine and disappeared … So I guess I’ll just passively-aggressively already mention both choices already :p
I’m holding off on Piggly’s until I see what the Black Friday specials are.
After you get all the drumsticks you need, the turkeys give XP when tapped, 46 each in my case, but I have a high bonus %.
Last night when I left my game I had 79 drum sticks this morning when I log into my game I don’t have any it’s not even counting the ones I collect and I don’t get the option to send the few on turkey quest like I did yesterday how can I fix it?

P.s. Anyone know if the Christmas event starts right after Thanksgiving? Because this one ends on December the 1th, so I’m guessing we will get a new update right after.
