Many times we state we only put up Spoilers when we feel there is a specific need or good reasoning behind it. The main issue is EA can, has, and will change their minds on us and the information when it goes live may be different then initially “teased” to us. Well, I think this is one of those times that we can put some up. 🙂
That being said, I also know MANY of you just want to get an idea of what Buildings, Characters, and Decorations may be coming up on the remaining Black Friday to Cyber Monday Sales. I have compiled a list of those “teased” items, just beware these are indeed Spoilers and due to early release on the info… what you actually see in YOUR game may vary on item and timing. Always double check YOUR list that pops up in YOUR game for the most accurate information on how these sales will play out for YOU. 🙂
ON WITH THE SALES!!!
WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD! PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK!!
First up… the main idea of these sales…
- These are items you do NOT already have in your game OR they are items that you may be able to get more than one of (like a Premium Tree). If you already have the item in your game, you will see skipped blocks of time where the item would have been. If you have ALL the items already, you may not even see a Sales list at all… or a very very limited one.
- These sales are based on YOUR Region and time zones, so I will not be listing time frames as there will be too many variables. Check YOUR game for the times of release for YOUR Sales.
- This is a list based off of the information at time of this post. EA can change that information at anytime before the Sales go live in your game.
- You will still have to pay the FULL Donut Price of each item, then you will get the Donut Rebate amount back with purchase. So make sure you have the FULL Price worth of Donuts in your game or you will not be able to purchase the items.
- EA general start time is 8GMT (3AM EST).

Kwik-E-Mart Central Office will arrive in your game after some dialog for purchase of 145 Donuts. Per info we see, it is set to stay for 24hrs 48hrs . Will confirm once it hits our games on Cyber Monday (11/30).

Hello. So, there’s this glitch where icons disappear from above buildings and people and I’m sure I’ve seen people here talking about it but I can’t find those comments now. Anyhow, back to the glitch. It’s moderately annoying and travelling to KL and back is slow BUT I think I’m actually less annoyed by it than by the Upgrade Me signs on SH buildings… So I’m not sure whether to complain or not. What do you all think? Anyone else bugged by those Upgrade Me icons?
Not terribly…how else would you know which ones were upgradable? However, I, like many others, would like the option to revert to a lower level after maximizing the level on one of those buildings. I like having buildings at different levels and would like not to have the upgrade symbol on the ones I choose to show at lower levels. But I think the appropriate solution to that is to make you upgrade them all the way, then let you choose which look you like (as they did with the pool and the superhero statue).
However, once you’ve upgrade all of the placed buildings as much as you want (even if it’s not all the way), there’s a solution to making the upgrade icons go away…just spend down all of your SH currency and nothing will be upgradable and the symbols will go away!
Sadly, that will leave the shops with icons. Probably a better choice, but still.
Only if you don’t have all of your characters on tasks!

They jacked up the price on the jet engine bike to 40 donuts so I ended up paying 32 donuts for a 30 donut item grrr
Yea I was a bit upset about this, I planned on adding a few more. I did not buy any today for this “deal” though. I already have 6 from when they were 30 each, best deal for donuts/ % bonus ratio. But now that they are 40 they are just on par with everything else.
Then they went back to 30 donuts now that they are no longer on “sale.”
Anybody else notice that EA has decided to increase the price of the Jet Engine Bike from 30 donuts to 40 donuts before the rebate? I was ready to pick it up for a net price of 22 donuts (2% bonus) but have held off since.
They raised the price of the jet engine bike to 40 donuts, so with the 8 donuts discount it’s only 2 donuts more than it usually is. That’s a shame. The jet bike has the best donut to %bonus in the game. I was going to pick up as many as I could with my remaining donuts. Oh well.
Did the jet bike just go up in price? Even with the sale, it now costs more than it did before.
I walked away with Sherri/Terri and the teleporters. Super happy with these and hoping to go into the Christmas event with a little extra help. 😉
Just noticed the Jet Engine is currently available (in my time zone, UK) for 40 doughnuts and 8 rebate, so net cost 32. And yet before today’s sale, it was up for 30 doughnuts! Its a cheek by EA!!! Has anyone else noticed that? 🙁

Hi guys. I’m seeing posts about the supercollider not including the black hole. I thought I read somewhere in this awesome blog that the black hole comes with it but you need to get it out of your inventory to place it. Is this wrong?
Side note: Supercollider came on sale at 9 AM EDT so it was nice to not have to try and get up at 3AM for once. 😎

I guess I should have taken to heart that the SIB post for the supercollider and black hole is from a past offering and not necessarily this same offering. Also the sale item never listed the hole.
So so so so annoyed, more like pissed off, that the black hole wasn’t part of the deal. Like many others, I would have passed on the supercollider if I realized that beforehand.
Could have saved the 55 donuts for later. Doh!
Only consolation is that I got hooked up with lots of donuts from halloween and thanksgiving so hoping for some good deals around Christmas. Otto and Barney, come on down!
Grabbed the Super Collider and still think it’s a great deal for 55 donuts. I see some folks are not happy they didn’t get the black hole with it. Although that would have been awesome I never expected it otherwise it would moist likely have been stated. What I didn’t like was the transporters been offered at such a ridiculous time. I really wanted them for my second town but no way was I getting up at that time. Oh well…bring on Christmas 🙂
I don’t know if anyone else has this problem but since this morning (or last night) there aren’t any thumbs ups over the buildings, nor the money sign. When I tap the buildings though, I get the money and xp-s, I just can’t see if the characters are ready with their tasks. It’s pretty annoying :/
This has been happening on & off for me over the last few days. A visit to Krustyland or neighbors fixes it. An odd glitch, to be sure.

When in doubt try a krustyland visit. Yet another bug. At least they fix things as they come up.
Yep, Krustyland visit worked and now with the Thanksgiving event gone it seems the bug disappeared, too.
Just adding my name to the list of disgruntled Tappers who purchased the Super Collider only to learn there is no black hole. Is that it a glitch? Is there a job required? Sigh.
On the bright side, I am happy with my purchase of Disco Stu and Dr Nick.

Still, this marks the first time I bit the bullet and payed real money. I guess that means I’m not freemium anymore! I figured that I’ve been playing for over 3 years, and I dropped $50 to get donuts. That’s like spending a quarter a week. Definitely worth it.
I ended up buying Mrs. Bouvier/Super smorg, Mel/Krustylu, Krupp/YMCA, Luann/Cracker Factory, Disco Stu/Stu’s Disco/Dr. Nick, Rancho Relaxo/Don Vito, Chester/Shed, and Lampwick/Rocket Car. I have 150 donuts left, and while I would still like the Casino/Indian Chief, I think I’ll wait for Christmas to see if any awesome donut items come around!

Well I’ll be. I promise I read the post, but I missed that detail. I guess I got used to the “starts at 8am local time format” for some events.
Either way, I reserve the right to be cranky that I missed it. It’s unfortunate that people will surely be sleeping when certain sales hit (unlike the Black Friday portion, which had a couple times you could get the stuff).
Oh well, still got some good stuff.

While I live in GMT and the deals have worked perfectly for me, it seems really unfair to some American players (who I imagine are the vast majority of TSTO customers).

There is no black hole. It is just the building. Kind of let down because I missed Akira, so I got the collider instead and I definitely got no black hole.

I purchased Krustylu Studios, The Happy Sumo, the YMCA, film set, ferriswheel, juggler, and Santas Little Helper. I thought my town needed a YMCA but now I wish I’d gotten something else. Not the first time I’ve regretted a purchase. I wanted everything but alas had to pick and choose. Can’t wait for Monday! Still got a few donuts left. Happy tapping.
I saved my donuts all year for this (minus the splurge on Uter/the hungry hun and the disco zombie that I couldn’t resist). Being a freemium player, I only tend to spend donuts when there’s a sale. The Halloween event was great for free donuts.
Anyway, I picked up Disco Stu (mostly because I love the character), and Sherri and Terri. Now I’m left with 40 donuts, so I guess I’ll start saving for next year!
I purchased Dr. Nick with 90 donuts expecting to get 25 back and I got NOTHING back! What happened?!?! I opened a “support ticket” with EA but haven’t heard anything and still short 25 donuts. 🙁
Well, 3 years of saving my pink sprinkles paid off! I’m a freemium player and have used my sprinkles sparingly, so I had 750+ saved up!

Had nearly 800+ saved Up until this point. Obviously I’ve spent a ton along the way but that is my main strategy amongst anything, save until donut worthy. I usually wait for deals and unload slightly. I do however keep my donut stock padded some. I keep a separate text file on my donut count and yearly spending (+\-)
With this sale i had other intentions of wants but I’m patient enough to eventually get them. I did however get what I wanted but missed on Creepy Sherri/Terri . Bad timing on my part. Just settled for Akira as my last purchase of that wave and wasn’t anticipating getting him.
One of these days it would be interesting to write my strategies just to get it out there. I doubt how relatable or useful it would be though.

I had just over 500 doughnuts saved up over just a year – the recent event (Halloween?) where we got 20 each week really helped, as has 5 weekly since monorail. I splashed out on 3 of the cheap building/character combos and then grabbed Sherri and Terri too as an impulse. Now only have 100+ doughnuts left. I’m guessing you still have a few hundred doughnuts left?
I think I have 196 left!
Yes, Halloween event really helped me build my sprinkle stockpile.

*Sigh* I was forgetting about their current penchant for typos! I sprung for Nick, and, lo and behold, DID get 25 donuts back. Definitely worth it for 65 net.
I bought 6 other items, and Nick was next on my list but I had to stop myself. I wanted to keep at least 100 doughnuts in reserve just in case, like I try to always have $10m game money banked for purchases.
I was planning on getting Dr. Nick, but in game it says 15 donuts back instead of 25. Bummer. I guess I’ve got about 40 minutes to decide if I still want to get him.
I just bought him five minutes ago. It said 15 back, but gave me 25 back.
FYI, Dr. Nick just dropped 15 minutes ago, and the discount is only 15 donuts, not 25. Gil says, only 45 minutes left to ponder if he’s still worth it!

The Donut rebate actually is 25 Donuts, and the 15 which shows is just a mistake/error.
