I enabled the mobile theme for the site again, hopefully this helps some of you who are having issues viewing the site on your mobile device. If you’d like to go back to the desktop version scroll to the bottom of the site and select view full site. Hope that helps!

Just a quick note to let you know I switched the theme back to the old, original Addicts theme. I did this in hopes that it would help with the comment issue, I don’t think it will…but if it does I’ll be thrilled. Plus, I know a lot of you (Sandra…) were really wanting us to go back to how it originally was. So…it’s back to how it originally was.
Fingers crossed that this works for the comments!
Very pleased with this change, I can now easily see / browse / comment again. The major challenge with the previous format was load / refresh issues, blanking fields, etc. Now, everything seems to cache extremely efficiently, may be I’ll be commenting a bit more, ‘pologies 😉
I hope this means you’ll get a chance to catch up on the comments and see that we’re all trying to play “Nice” here, and not “Naughty,” because that’s how, as a group, we can beat the “Prisoner’s Dilemma.”
haha, i got a naughty gift from him as well. must say i was a bit surprised, considering how loyal we’ve been keeping him on board… 😛

Basically, if everyone, as a group, plays Nice, then everyone, as a group, will do better.
No idea if it’s fixed the comment issue, but it certainly looks better now on all my devices (PC, tablet, phone). The other one looked bad on all three, lime the ‘mobile view’ option was stuck on! 🙂
Desktop view is so much better than mobile view, I really hope you keep this classic view and dont go back. I can see and navigate far faster!

wish this glitch worked for the private islands, which i like a lot. the exclusive resort, not so much… wish i could extract the aquarium from the middle and get rid of the rest of the building….

Loads faster for me (android/kindle) and I see comments. It was hit or miss before and wouldn’t always load completely
I can see comments now. Love the new theme but happy with this one. Always like to see comments.
Things are better this way (reminds me of the good old days) :p

I enjoy the old theme, too! I can see comments on my PC. I haven’t tried it on my mobile devices yet.
Well, I could see five out of the 63 comments on this post just by clicking the comments link. Is that progress? (I’ll probably never see a response to this to know, but good luck guys, sucks that this is happening)
Not completely working, and now it’s not very mobile compatible… pls revert back to how it was (I’m ok with no comments, all I need is.to see posts well)

I’m experiencing some serious lag time with the site since the change. I’m glad we can see comments again, but it’s very glitchy and freezes a bit. I’m using an iPad.
You’re the only one saying they’re having an issue with it…could be your connection.
The change doesn’t appear to be working 100%. Also- the site is kind of freezing pat times. But please know that we all appreciate all the work you do. 😎

I seem to be able to view comments more easily, but the function to reply directly to a comment seems to be gone. I can leave a general reply like this one, but I can’t reply to anyone else’s questions or comments. I think WP really wants us all to get accounts :/

Unfortunately, you are correct about the theme not mattering as it’s an internal WordPress issue, but I for one am EXTREMELY happy for the old theme back, as I find it easier to view and maneuver on a mobile device.

Actually, there were a few aspects I liked, but many more on this side that I missed. Left-justified seems weird now, but I can scroll to the bottom to comment, sidebar *gasp* in the side, “newer comments” link at top AND bottom of comments section, the tree structured nested comments, and probably too many to name and annoy you with.
Only one I’ll miss a bit is having “reply” at the bottom of long comments. It makes more sense than having to scroll back up to comment. Oh, and avatars next to the name was a neat setup.
I was able to see the many comments earlier but now I can’t see a single one!😧😞😯😳😢 But the site does look cool! 😆😅 Still say I 💘 this site!!!

I’ve got the whole site but still cannot see comments …and it’s massive now I have to zoom in to get to the bit I want. I miss the mobile bit …sorry again if you’ve already replied Alissa sweets but I can’t see the comments again!
