Welcome to the wee early morning hours…at least here on the East Coast. It’s just after 3am and the Casino Event Act 2 is now live! (hey if this were Vegas you’d be up all night too…)
Remember…this is an automatic change in your game. Nothing to download, it should just start up in your game..
Things should auto-start for you with a task for Mr. Burns. (if you don’t see it start up it’s most likely because you haven’t placed the Dice Den. You’ll need to place the Dice Den to start Act 2, which also means you’ll need to finish The Old Man and the ‘Sino questline)
Just what does Act 2 have in store for us? Let’s take a look…
New Prize Currency for Act 2..
Green Chips! (Original right? 😉 )
So the ability to earn Red Chips is now gone. Your counter prize track for Act 2 has reset to 0..because you have 0 Green Chips. So forget about the red ones and now it’s time to start over with green.
You’ll earn Green Chips the same way you earned Red Chips in Act 1…
-Tapping Gamblers, each tap yields 10 
(remember Gamblers spawn every 5 minutes, with a max of 60 allowed at once)
-Playing games at Moe’s and Cletus’ (yes, they both still require the gold tokens, just like they did for Act 1.)
-Visiting neighbors and tapping Gamblers in their towns. Each tap yields 10..remember only 90 actions/day.
-Courtesy chips 
. Each time you lose at Moe’s or Cletus’ you’ll earn a courtesy chip. You can cash 10 of those in for 100 . (via crafting menu)
-Sending characters to the Casino. That will yield for each task there. (more on this for Act 2 below..)
-And via the Players Club. Certain levels will earn you more .
Gold Tokens
Yup, they’re still around…and still the currency you’ll need to play games at Moe’s and Cletus’.
Act 2 Personal Prizes
Before we go into the prizes…first remember you’ll get two different counters for your chip counts. Please read this post if you’re confused.
Newark Newark Sign- 6,800
Lucky Casino- 18.150 (or +11,350 from prize 1)
Casino Nessie- 32,950 (or +14,800 from prize 2)
Woodstock Casino- 48,850 (or +15,900 from prize 3)
Cregg Demon- 71,600 (or +22,750 from prize 4)
Act 1 Prizes…
F you didn’t collect them all… you can still access them by tapping on the “ACT ONE PRIZES” tab in the Personal Prizes area. As you can no longer collect items for them, your only option now is to pay donuts to outright by each one left at the point you left off at. (just like every other event)
Crafting..
Same crafting rules apply…check out the crafting post if you’re confused.
One exception…you can now upgrade levels with martini glasses as well as key chains and coasters. 25 martinis=1 upgrade block.
And I can confirm martinis are falling from gamblers….in addition to coasters and key chains.

Thanks to hoarding my tokens for the last 4 days of Act 1, I’ve already earned the first 3 prizes of Act 2… So um this Act will be interesting haha. I guess in one way it’s bad because I’ll be done with this Act pretty quickly, but in another it’s good because I can start hoarding tokens for the next Act, which will hopefully equate to lots of bonuts!

I jumped on those and the big waterworks. No regrets on Krusty or Bart, but I’m kicking myself over the fountain. I got about 25 donuts from bonus rounds + Maggie, so I’m pretending it only cost 30 donuts. Makes it a little better.
I have just reached Level 2 in crafting and I am experiencing the same problem (crash) as other players … buuuuh!
So this Brian was wrong and we still have the gold tokens… I got rid of mine last night just to be sure (and earned another last minute 3 bonus donuts so it’s fine).

My advice was save them if you want, you know they’ll be required.

I have been on level 2 for 2 days. I have not gotten any martini glasses. Also since act 2 this morning, (tapping all my overnight gamblers) plus more for 2 hours, I still haven’t got any martini glasses. I know you said they come at a slower rate, but???????????? Any help appreciated.
Hard close and restart tsto. I know it sounds silly but sometimes it resets the algorithm in your game
Is anyone else’s game crashing? Mine dies every time I try to scroll through the crafting menu after having unlocked Level 2. iOs version.
I had to rush everything! My eye is severly strained and won’t be on for a day or two. But the prizes are cool.

Oh, New Jersey has some beautiful parts! The area around where my parents have a summer place is lovely, with some local farms and beautiful homes and such. And the seaside can be nice, too!
The Jersey shore, Pine Barrens, cheap gas that someone pumps for you, WaWa, easy access to Philly and NY, best hoagies, best cheesesteaks, plenty of airports, cheap gas, Rutgers, great highways, lots of farms/forests/parks interspersed with developed areas, Delaware River, moderate climate, great bridges, always something to do. And of course the famous governor.
As a country girl and one that appreciates bargains when traveling… I stay in Jersey when I go east (usually with Alissa, but comfy Hotels too) and have to say I loved how centralized it was to so many places. Access to New York wasn’t bad driving or transportation (yes I drove while there). Philly wasn’t too far as well as other parts of PA I wanted to see. Atlantic City didn’t take too terribly long to get to.
NO TAX ON CLOTHES! I know… a silly one… but for a person on a budget and add in the shopping at the outlets…loved that. 🙂

I’ve played 250 coins on the slots resulting in 33K of chips (Casino Nessie) and being able to upgrade 9 tiers to complete Level 3. Lots of crafting resources to be won. Bring on the bonuts!!
My daily task isn’t working. I got play slots but when I do I’m not getting rewarded with it. Anyone’s else’s having a problem with daily task. I don’t really want to change it yet cause the reward is 20 casino chips.

I saved about 150 tokens from Act 1 so after spending those I’m already working on getting Nessie. Level 3 is only 6 blocks away since Martinis are much easier to collect. It seems like I am getting coasters and keychains more often too when I play at Moe’s. I wonder if they changed the odds due to complaints? Now I just need to wait for the gamblers to come back…
When I saw I was a few days ahead of the Act 1 calendar, I stockpiled my gold tokens for Act 2 and only managed to get two rounds of bonuts in Act 1.
However, with 277 gold tokens stockpiled, I went to town in this first hour of Act 2 and already have over 35000 green chips and have already unlocked the first three prizes: Newark Newark Sign, Lucky Casino building in the next 7 hours, and Casino Nessie.
Question is should I capitalize on several rounds of bonuts this act, or take advantage of this technique again heading into Act 3 and go crazy for bonuts in Act 3.
Which is more important to you, getting bonuts or getting all the prizes immediately? I got 10 rounds of bonuts in act 1 and figure I’ll probably get similar in the other acts, as long as EA doesn’t mess with anything. 🙂
Due to being quite ahead in Act 1, taking almost 300 game tokens into Act 2, I’m already at 31.000 chips. Yay!
Martinis started dropping from gamblers as well as bonus from games. It seems that the probability of keychains and coasters hasn’t been reduced but rather instead of getting no bonus one can get Martinis now. This helped me progress from crafting level 2 0 segments to 8 segments. Things are moving considerably faster now by having three crafting currencies for upgrading the level.
And finally… boy, that new premium fountain is HUGE. Even though I would like something resembling the Las Vegas Bellagio fountain in my game, this is quite some out-of-proportion monster. I’m likely going to pass simply for its size.
I agree about the size of the fountain. With some great personal memories watching it at night, and the iconic scene at the end of Ocean’s 12, it took me about three seconds to go to purchase it and when I saw the size a nano one to put it back on the shelf. Even if it was a free award it would probably be put in storage. Later in the game a few of the smaller ones next to each other will have to do instead.
Actually purchased it because of its large size, would’ve passed if it were small. Already plenty of small fountains in this game. To each their own. 🙂
How do you know its size? There is no image in this post…..seems to be missing. Are you seeing it elsewhere? I want a HUGE fountain, but more importantly, the ‘show’ aspect has to be really good. I was already planning on building one with the crafted fountains so this could fit in really nicely.

as with all items in the store (except for certain gil deals?), you can click on it and see how large it is in the place mode… it won’t deduct donuts until you hit the check mark to place it.
Hmm, my Vegas is (will be) two strips wide the entire back length of land, and I want a street in front with my limo’s and other exotic cars (Powell Motors has nine _onda’s on its lot they will quickly sell out of and I still have three in storage) so with casino’s and decorations that huge fountain just won’t fit. Although… I had to take out my Superior Squad HQ because it blocked the view so maybe I can stick it there and put a counterfeit Bellagio casino across the street. I’ll have to look for it in action in a neighboring Springfield.
I have a “new” half and an “old” half where I’m trying to figure out how to replicate the laser light show I saw there years ago.
Not too much time to get everything, especially since i wont be on 3 straight days, but luckly i saved enough assets so 2hrs later i almost got second prize already!

I thought I was doing well getting to that point (I had 160ish tokens saved up ) but now I feel just a tad inadequate after reading that so many posters have already unlocked casino nessie. You’re not behind, I am a bit ahead 👅

When did this game become the Family Guy game? This is so convoluted and tough to complete, I can’t help but think they had something to do with this one. Really disappointing as I regularly play and never have had the difficulty in getting anything done as I have with this whole event
?? Really you think this is hard? This game is 100% achievable without spending donuts, unlike the family guy game. This is actually one of the easiest events EA has put out…it’s all in how you play.
I’m surprised how many comments I’ve seen about how hard this event is. I got more bonuts in act 1 than any other event, barring glitches, and I’m going through my 350+ saved tokens right now.

I’m halfway to the 4th prize, one notch from crafting level 3, and saved 50 tokens for daily challenges. FG, this is not lol. 🙂

I’m happy to have gotten the first prize and I’m well on my way to the second, but I only just got the first notch towards Level 3 and only got two rounds of bonuts in the first Act. I do still have 50 tokens unspent…maybe that’s one reason I’m less far along?

lol no newark is like 20 miles from me. NJ isn’t that big…it’s actually like 5 miles from my office.
Newark isn’t that bad. It’s not like it’s Camden or anything…and people from NJ, Philly and Delaware will get that joke 😉
Newark is a pretty high-crime city (even if it’s not as bad as Camden)….my parents had a business there for a while and cars on that street pretty much got broken into daily (happened at least a couple of times to my dad, and he’s meticulous about not having anything of value in sight and always had the “Club” lock on his steering wheel).
But it does have its upsides, including some good food and even some museums and such.
But how does it compare to Oakland?
I guess it depends on where in Oakland… I know it’s supposed to be a tough city, but I have relatives living there who seem to live in okay places. (Actually, one set lives up in the hills in a place that’s a LOT better than “okay”! The others live kind of near that famous Vietnamese restaurant (Le Cheval?), I *think*, and I think their neighborhood isn’t bad, either. I stayed in a hotel near Jack London Square a couple of times, and felt fine in that neighborhood, as well. But my husband was taken to Oakland Hospital and we did go through some much rougher looking neighborhoods to get there…
Probably downtown. I think I’ve only traveled through Oakland but didn’t get a great vibe. Probably just its reputation.
Are the hills and the waterfront ever bad neighborhoods? Hospitals often are. Unless the hospital is on a hill or waterfront. 😉
I’ve always been scared to go there. I found myself in Penn Station late at night once and it freaked me out.

LOL. Once or twice. I hadn’t even moved here yet. Minneapolis was the biggest city I had ever been to. I worked for Holiday Inn at the time and I got an employee discontinued in Ft Lee not realizing how far away that could be.
When I flew into Newark I called my hotel for directions by mass transit. She told me to go to New York Penn Station then take the A up to 175 street and take a bus across the George Washington bridge. Well I misunderstood her and went to Newark Penn Station by mistake. It was late and no one was there but homeless crack heads. When the cops appeared everyone disappeared. When they left they all came back. I was scared out of my small town mind. I called a friend who used to live in Jersey City and he told me to get the #$! ¥ out of there. That didn’t help.
Now my boyfriend’s mom lives in Hackensack so I’ve been over there a few times. Seems nice. We visit his mom’s friend in Paramus and all those McMansions disgust me.
How is it where you are? Urban like Newark it suburban like Paramus or in the middle like Hackensack?

I live in the Suburbs…while I don’t live in a McMansion, the area I live in is surrounded by them. Somerset and Hunterdon Counties are 2 of the richest counties in the country. Full of executives from Pharmaceutical companies, Verizon and various other companies. It’s very easy to drive down the road around here and see modest homes and them boom get smacked with million dollar houses…
McMansions – My question has always been…
How many square feet does a house have to be to be considered a McMansion?

Which reminds me…we need to meet up at whichever Patriots game my stepdad and I go to at the end of August…if it goes as usual (as opposed to last year, when Labor Day was super late), I usually go there the week leading up to Labor Day weekend.
I’ll even let you have a bit of my half of my dad’s and my funnel cake! (That’s a huge honor you know…there aren’t many people I’d give up even a morsel of that deliciousness for, you know!)

There was a sync problem at 10 minutes past the hour at the start of Act 2. But it seems to have clear up as there have be no problems for the next hour.

Omg I actually saw the people getting all butthurt over what you did at the EA forum. If I had an account there I would’ve stood up for you! I can’t believe how many people were SO upset and acted like it was the WORST THING EVER to think that they missed out on the start if act 2. If that’s the worst freaking thing that ever happened to them I’d count myself pretty damn lucky!!

geez…people are ridiculous. First, if they play the damn game they know there’s a timer in their games so they can see something’s not right. So why would it set off panic. Second, if they read the post they’d see if wasn’t about it. I’ve learned in today’s world to never underestimate the stupidity of people. God forbid someone has to read more than a title in today’s world..

(I’m about 400 comments behind here, literally, so I haven’t seen any replies anyone might have made to my comments on that yet…trying to get caught up in the initial comments here before going back to my email to continue working through the older comments from the other posts…)
I thought there was an issue about random bannings. You probably didn’t do anything.
The reaction is because trolling is a problem in that forum, plus the thread you bumped was from LPNnintendoITA and doesn’t mention tap ball until you scroll down the thread. His posts are seen as credible and of an actual announcement i.e. people will read the subject and take it at face value since he posted it. Had a thread been bumped by any other poster, you probably wouldn’t have gotten such a reaction. I agree it was a little much to get angry over a joke, but it wasn’t clear it was a joke until you explained.
You’re better off not going there. 🙂

I was excited to save up 150+ gold tokens but the reality of playing dice that many times is so dull. I clearly do not ‘get’ gambling

Off to a smashing start! Wait, smashing? Meant to say crashing.
Game crashed 4 times in 30 minutes. Once while just looking at the crafting items (I’m nearly at level 2, but still at level 1), another while adjusting the volume (???), etc. Game seems very unstable. I crashed mid-spin at Moe’s.
Had saved up enough gold coins to make a nice initial run at midnight, but after 85 spins going to let the game sit till the morning and see if there’s a fix for the crashing.

I just saw it in your town!! It looks amazing but 55 is a loooot of donuts.
Really? I thought it was a fair price. What’s too many donuts for me is two skins (for bart and his tree house) for 90 donuts. As always though, it just depends on how much one values certain types of items in this game. And for me, skins and npcs are on the lower end of the scale.
I hate spending more than 40 donuts on decos. The only deco I can remember spending more than that on was the bear cave, which I REALLY thought was gonna come with an NPC lol. But it’s all relative 😊
