Welcome to the wee early morning hours…at least here on the East Coast. It’s just after 3am and the Casino Event Act 2 is now live! (hey if this were Vegas you’d be up all night too…)
Remember…this is an automatic change in your game. Nothing to download, it should just start up in your game..
Things should auto-start for you with a task for Mr. Burns. (if you don’t see it start up it’s most likely because you haven’t placed the Dice Den. You’ll need to place the Dice Den to start Act 2, which also means you’ll need to finish The Old Man and the ‘Sino questline)
Just what does Act 2 have in store for us? Let’s take a look…
New Prize Currency for Act 2..
Green Chips! (Original right? 😉 )
So the ability to earn Red Chips is now gone. Your counter prize track for Act 2 has reset to 0..because you have 0 Green Chips. So forget about the red ones and now it’s time to start over with green.
You’ll earn Green Chips the same way you earned Red Chips in Act 1…
-Tapping Gamblers, each tap yields 10 
(remember Gamblers spawn every 5 minutes, with a max of 60 allowed at once)
-Playing games at Moe’s and Cletus’ (yes, they both still require the gold tokens, just like they did for Act 1.)
-Visiting neighbors and tapping Gamblers in their towns. Each tap yields 10..remember only 90 actions/day.
-Courtesy chips 
. Each time you lose at Moe’s or Cletus’ you’ll earn a courtesy chip. You can cash 10 of those in for 100 . (via crafting menu)
-Sending characters to the Casino. That will yield for each task there. (more on this for Act 2 below..)
-And via the Players Club. Certain levels will earn you more .
Gold Tokens
Yup, they’re still around…and still the currency you’ll need to play games at Moe’s and Cletus’.
Act 2 Personal Prizes
Before we go into the prizes…first remember you’ll get two different counters for your chip counts. Please read this post if you’re confused.
Newark Newark Sign- 6,800
Lucky Casino- 18.150 (or +11,350 from prize 1)
Casino Nessie- 32,950 (or +14,800 from prize 2)
Woodstock Casino- 48,850 (or +15,900 from prize 3)
Cregg Demon- 71,600 (or +22,750 from prize 4)
Act 1 Prizes…
F you didn’t collect them all… you can still access them by tapping on the “ACT ONE PRIZES” tab in the Personal Prizes area. As you can no longer collect items for them, your only option now is to pay donuts to outright by each one left at the point you left off at. (just like every other event)
Crafting..
Same crafting rules apply…check out the crafting post if you’re confused.
One exception…you can now upgrade levels with martini glasses as well as key chains and coasters. 25 martinis=1 upgrade block.
And I can confirm martinis are falling from gamblers….in addition to coasters and key chains.

Is anyone else having problems with the crafting menu? Every time I go to craft something it crashes my game.
I had that earlier, but I thought it was because I just leveled-up.
Yeah, me too. But not on every item. It happens when I try to cfart the Spruce Moose (and a ciuple more items, but that’s the one I’d like)
For those of you that have bought the water show fountain. Is it worth it? I’m trying to decide….
I’m a completionist, so I try to get everything. But I really don’t see the point. There’s already a bunch of fountains you can buy and or craft. This one is just a little bigger

It is massive but just so you know, the water only moves partially up and down in the same formation. It’s a pass for me, I’m thinking multiples of the craftable sequence fountains are more eye-catching. Just my opinion though, each to their own 😃

I have tuxedo Krusty from when he was given away and hardly ever use him considering I don’t love the animations and I have so many other Krusty skins. Unless you really just need more help with you event, I would not buy.

I didn’t hoard any of my coins, I wanted to level up crafting as quickly as possible so I could craft as much as I could later on. But it looks like people are already done with Act 2!!! Maybe I’ll hoard this time around. The only bonus with not hoarding was that I got 15 rounds of bonuts! Basically 45 free donuts for Act 1. I used it to buy the water show fountain (which I totally love btw!) It is MASSIVE but looks awesome. I put it right in the center of my Las Vegas area!!! I’ve never received so many free donuts from an event… this has got to be one of my favorites so far!

I don’t think leveling up fast will really gain us anything in terms of crafting. Martini glasses didn’t drop till act 2 and I doubt we’ll see show tickets drop till act 3.
Which kind if ruins the while idea of having all crafting available in all acts.
Not sure what the thought process was on that one. I like the idea, as long as the materials start to drop when the level is reached.
Technically you can win martinis and show tickets from the daily challenge. If you’re lucky, and are at crafting level 2 or 3, you could craft something from that level. I guess no one was that lucky. But it’s Vegas, baby! Anything’s possible!
Phew, 210 tokens takes a while to play through, but now Nessie’s waddling around my town, happy as can be.

Good thing I had a early start to act 2 due to tokens. I was running a few numbers and may need to allocate casino goers to recycle if I am to get Miss Springfield before time expires on the deal. At 211 donuts now. Should get 6 more from Maggie over next few days and 5 from recycle leaving 3 more split either neighbor visits and/or daily challenges.
I must have missed something because I’ve never know of a way to get donuts from recycling! How is that done??

I’m having a hard time with getting the recycling donuts during this event. With 3 of the metal producers tied up in casino shenanigans, I’m not hitting the benchmarks.
For anyone who stored Lucius to delay having the Player’s Club points recognized (or for any other reason :)), to get the club points after bringing him out of inventory you will need to open the character group screen (casino workers I think – it’s near the end of the list). The Club points will then be added to your total.
Got Lucius Sweet by a mere hair’s breadth, can’t wait for Casino Nessie! 😊 Thanks for all the updates for this event, would be lost without my TSTO addicts background knowledge.

I bought the hotel with miss Springfield cuz of the donut savings and that you got players club points. She was also supposed to have a casino skin. I didn’t get the players points or the new skin for her. Anyone know if I read it wrong or something?

Not an idiot…it’s natural to have that moment of panic when you buy something and you don’t see it right away. You’re not the only one with the issue I promise 🙂
So because I bought the Vegas Wives, my Player Club points were further along than if I just unlocked my prizes. So winning Lucius Sweet added enough points to award me 1205 red chips – only to lose them all 8 hours later. Whomp whomp. I wish they hadn’t made chips a prize, especially since you lose them once a new act starts. Oh well, still enjoying this event.
Had saved over 200 tokens and now I have the first 3 prizes of Act 2 already! Love this event alot!
Hording tokens at the end of act 1 payed off for me. I had saved up 275 tokens, and got 20 more from the daily challenge today. So I spent some time this morning playing down my tokens on the slot machine. I’m only 1000 chips away from getting Casino Nessie. I’ve decided I like playing the slot machine more than the dice game. I seem to lose less often at the slots. I don’t want courtesy chips. I want chips and crafting currency. I’m only three steps away from crafting level 3. So I think I’m way ahead of the game.

So excited for Act 2. I saved 200 tokens for today and I’m half was to Casino Nessie. I was already at crafting level 2 but now I’m 2/3 of the way to 3. I’m loving the upgrade rate of 25 martini glasses per level. The glasses seem to fall pretty decently for me so far.
I’m sticking with Moe’s slot machine as I just find the dice den frustrating. Overall I’m definitely liking this event more than I would have expected. Our oldest son was very disappointed during a layover in Las Vegas and didn’t like it was “an adult playground”. He wanted to play with the light up machines so bad. Today he to at Moe’s 🙂 Is it bad I let my 7yo gamble in a bar? 🙂
I’m interested in Bart and the tree house skin but not moved enough to buy it right away, waiting on more info to decide if its work the price. Doubt I’ll get the fountain as I have others and I feel like I’m getting enough with the square ones.
Quick note on mini-game odds in case anybody is interested:
I used about 350 of the 500 tokens I had saved from Act 1 when Act 2 hit. I didn’t track crafting materials, but as far as chips go the slots and dice had essentially the same return at 100 chips per token.
For the dice I just kept hitting 9 because if you keep repeatedly hitting that exact spot it also covers the play again button so it is easiest way to do a bunch in a row (and if they were “fair dice” it would be the best return). As a side note, it takes about five minutes of repeated play at the dice to use 40 tokens. I feel like the slots take slightly longer (though I didn’t clock it), plus you have to pay attention more because it requires swiping one place then tapping another.
Slots take forever! But the dice is fully interactive. I hope the next game is in between the two in interactivity.

Still 6 bars of lvl 1 crafting to go through I find this event such a grind relying too heavily on RNG to be enjoyable.
So, now that people are paying donuts for Tuxedo Krusty, does anyone know if he’s paying out at a premium rate? I’ve got him in the casino, so I can’t check.
So after looking through the recent pics on the addicts Flickr I found my answer. Among the many shots that Lee had posted of Miss Springfield in various unfortunate positions was a shot of Tuxedo Krusty’s task list and, yes, he is paying premium.
I snorted at the Lee comment. LOL. Flickr, hah.

About time Tuxedo Krusty returns, we only had what, 3 events that could utilize him but those that weren’t in the game back then couldn’t get the skin.
Is it just me or is this act going to be easy breezy? I played once right after the update then slept and just played again. Martinis are dropping like rain. I got the Newark sign already (thanks to lots of wins at Cletus’s and I didn’t save anything for this act, in fact barely got my last round of bonuts for act one). Have 5 notches to level 3 of crafting, should be there by the end of the week. And reached level 15 on player’s Club. Awesome Blossom.

Nope it’s just you I didn’t have 500000 coins from act 1 so currently sitting in act 2 with 5295/11350 for the 2nd prize roughly getting 200 tokens every 4 hours from tapping the charcters and 660 from Burn’s casino why doesn’t the crazy texan have more rewards i bought him especially for this event 🙁
So presuming I spend 16 hours a day awake and set my timer that means
200*4 = 800 from tapping + 890 from friends + 660*4 = 2640 from casino so roughty about 4000/5000 per day which seems about right judging from the last 4 days play. There is simply no way on earth I’ll get to level 5 on any of these events despite paying over 100 donuts for a premium character.
i’m still 5 bars off level 2 crafting that’s going twice as slow now martini glasses are in the mix. Currently 37/50 keyrings 38/40 b-tokens and 11/25 martini but it’s totally random and it’ll be 4 hours before i get any more.
My Players club is standing at 1740/1775 and no way to increase it until I get these 5 bars of crafting (averaging about 2 a day so will get there tomorrow evening).
Was missing 99% lvl 5 of Act 1 despite playing daily lost a load of coins betting Number 2 with the dice didn’t once get any cheats in over 50 plays.
And breathe…. realise it’s only a game but it’s more about luck than previous events which is quite annoying.
I’ve played 50 tokens in the dice den and didn’t ONCE get any cheats I got 4*400 rolled number 2 EVERYTIME
I noticed yesterday when I spent 25 tokens in the dice den I only got the number 2 coming up twice for me for 800 tokens. Hardly any other crafting items as well. I been playing since 8am this morning and still only 1/2 way to the first prize 🙁
Well… Perhaps a change of Gambling Casinos would be helpful? 🤓Might want to give Moe’s a try. 😎
I noticed yesterday that the dice game was paying mad wins. I rotated between 2 & 3 for my pick. Today insoent 16 game tokens and not a single win. Shady EA Real shady
I recently purchased Bart’s Cassino boss costume, and it dosent earn at a premium rate. My theory is that if you have costumes that already earn at a premium rate, then when you get other costumes they won’t at a premium rate. Is this a bug or does the system actually work under my prediction?

You know, if you’d asked me a month ago if I’d enjoy a casino themed event I would’ve said no…but I actually really love all the buildings and decorations we’e getting! So many bright colours and flashing lights, I’m loving the casino district I’m building! I also love all the fountains!

Tell you what, saving tokens from act 1 enabled me to get the 2nd prize already this morning. This is a cool event!
I started late for act one and still had 60 this morning. I’m halfway to the second prize and will finish it by end of day… I like this format a lot!
im already at 22,000+ greens. LOVE this event so far. so many bonuts during act 3 are going to be mine! hoarding tokens after getting the final prize in act 1 netted me almost 200 tokens.
Are we going to get the match Casinos that go with the Signs? Seems stupid to have signs but no Casinos to match them. I believe right now there are 3 of these signs: Newark Newark, Cowgirl and another.
I don’t think so. I think it’s because you see the sings more so than the actual casino in the show. Just decorations to make it more Vegas looking I guess. It’s like the logic of having stop signs when the roads clearly aren’t used haha.
There are soooo many casinos/club towers already! I am going to have to squeeze them all in!
So looks like hoarding tokens worked better than I thought. After spending the more than 500 tokens I had saved from act 1 I was able to unlock all of the act two prizes, upgrade crafting to level 2, craft the cowgirl sign and spruce moose, upgrade crafting one space shy of level 3, fully upgrade my club card and get a pretty good start on my first round of bonuts, all without using donuts. Since I’m getting chips and keychains and coasters at the same rate as before, but I’m getting martinis in addition, I actually got a greater value using tokens now than if I had used them before (in the form of the martinis that I wouldn’t have gotten had I used them in act 1). Assuming that the same holds true for act 3 and silver tickets, I’ve begun hoarding my tokens again.
I’m still waiting for my two new casinos to finish building, but the Newark, Newark sign is hilarious. I had family in NJ and I used to fly into Newark when I went to visit them every summer when I was a little kid. Even as a cheery child I thought it was a craphole and began using it as the epitome of a crappy city in my references.

Did you use the tokens for the moe game or the cletus game (if you did the cletus game, what number?) That’s a great strategy, when I got all the act 1 prices I also started hoarding the tokens!
I used about 50 at the dice den, half playing #2 and half playing #5, but didn’t feel like I was getting as many chips as with the slots so all the rest went to Moe’s.
I just got 6250 green chips with 50 tokens at moe’s so approx 120/token average at moe’s still holds up
I usually start at Moe’s, and play until I win 400 (or sometimes just a match-three of something with a lower payout).
Then I cut my losses there and move on to Cletus’ Dice Den, playing #7. It pays out at 110 tokens, which adds up when it’s so easy to roll a seven.
I usually win about 7 or 8 out of ten rolls.
After reading your post, I decided to give the dice five tries. I won outright 4 of the 5 times and got to cheat once to get the payout for a 12.
Do you get one of each of those reward towers or do they get replaced or are they switchable façades?
