Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
So a few weeks ago I broke down the ins and outs of crafting. I explained how to craft, how to level up and how you unlocked the currency. What I didn’t explain is what each item does, how it impacts your Springfield and if it’s worth crafting.
So now, I’m taking the time to break down each and every craftable item for the Casino Event. Giving you the info about it, spacing required and if it’s worth crafting or not. So without further ado I bring you the craftable prize breakdown post…

Remember, if you’re confused about crafting…and how to level up…check out our crafting guide post that can be found here. This will breakdown the ins, outs & how-tos of crafting and leveling up for the Casino Event. This particular post, is just for breaking down each craftable item…what it does, how big and if it’s worth it…
Also, keep in mind that if you’ve unlocked every prize from all three acts you’ll still need around 2,000
to unlock the rest of the Players Club prizes. You’ll have to make that difference up in crafting if you don’t plan on spending donuts on items. So if you want the Black Diamond Tower you’ll have to craft everything you can to earn enough points. More details about the players club can be found here.
Let’s quickly talk about Courtesy Chips…
![]()
Courtesy Chips are earned when you lose at one of the Casino games. They can ONLY be exchanged for Prize Chips…10
= 100
. As of right now there is no other use for them…so turn them in for chips.
Now onto the prize breakdowns….
OK, let’s start with the Level 1 Prizes…

Item: Walk of Fame Star
Cost: 8 ![]()
Club Points Earned: 10
on first 4
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +10
Size: 1×1
Limit: Limited to 4 at Level 1, 4 more at Level 2 (so 8 total), Limit is lifted once you reach Level 3.
What Does It Do?: Nothing, just a decoration that sits in your town
Is It Worth it?: In my opinion, not really. It’s pretty tiny and really doesn’t make much of an impact in your town. However, if you’re towards the end and have crafted everything you wanted it may be good to spend some keychains on this one.

Item: Ficus Plant
Cost: 5
5 ![]()
Club Points Earned: 50
on first 8
Conform-O-Meter: Tree-Hugging +200
Size: 1×1
Limit: Limited to 2 at Level 1, 2 more at Level 2 (so 4 total), Limit is lifted once you reach Level 3.
What Does It Do?: Nothing, just a decoration that sits in your town
Is It Worth it?: If you like it, and have crafted all of the other “top” crafting items…go for it.

Item: Cycling Spotlight
Cost: 12![]()
Club Points Earned: 10
on first 4
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +80
Size: 1×1
Limit: Limited to 2 at Level 1, 2 more at Level 2 (so 4 total), Limit is lifted once you reach Level 3.
What Does It Do?: Cycles through various colors. You just tap once to turn on and it’ll change colors on its own.
Is It Worth it?: I like this one. I like that it changes colors on its own so you just have to tap once. Can really add to the Vegas feel. I’d craft a couple of these…

Item: Constant Fountain
Cost: 10 ![]()
Club Points Earned: 25
on first 4
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +50
Size: 2×2
Limit: Limited to 2 at Level 1, 2 more at Level 2 (so 4 total), Limit is lifted once you reach Level 3.
What Does It Do?: As the title says, it’s a fountain that runs constantly…when it runs it’ll look like this (all the time):

Is It Worth it?: If you like fountains, sure. However, I like the sequence fountains better…personally.

Item: Sequence Fountain 1
Cost: 10 ![]()
Club Points Earned: 25
on first 4
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +50
Size: 2×2
Limit: Limited to 2 at Level 1, 2 more at Level 2 (so 4 total), Limit is lifted once you reach Level 3.
What Does It Do?: Similar to the Constant Fountain, however this has a “resting” position (pictured in the image above). So, again like the title, it’ll run in a sequence. Every few seconds it’ll go up and down (designed to work well with Sequence Fountains 2, 3 & 4)
Is It Worth it?: If you like fountains, sure. But use it with the other sequence fountains…it’ll create a better effect.
Onto Level 2 Crafting….

Item: Cowgirl Sign
Cost: 20
35 ![]()
Club Points Earned: 120
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +150
Size: 2×2
Limit: Limited to 1 and only 1. So this is a unique item.
What Does It Do?: Just like all of the other signs…although this one is a little on the smaller side. It sits on the ground and isn’t elevated like some of the others. Here’s how it looks:

Is It Worth it?: If you’ve been collecting the signs then yes. Personally I do think it’s a bit on the small side, but it’s not a bad addition to the town.

Item: Exotic Tree
Cost: 5
10 ![]()
Club Points Earned: 25
on first 4
Conform-O-Meter: Tree-Hugging +300
Size: 2×2
Limit: Limited to 4 at Level 2 once you reach Level 3 you can have as many as you’d like.
What Does It Do?: Like the Ficus, it’s just a tree. Looks cool, but just a tree doesn’t do much else.
Is It Worth it?: If you like it go for it. Could add some nice design elements to your town.

Item: Sequence Fountain 2
Cost: 10 ![]()
Club Points Earned: 25
on first 4
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +50
Size: 2×2
Limit: Limited to 4 at Level 2, once you reach Level 3 you can have as many as you’d like
What Does It Do?: Similar to the Constant Fountain, however this has a “resting” position (pictured in the image above). So, again like the title, it’ll run in a sequence. Every few seconds it’ll go up and down (designed to work well with Sequence Fountains 1, 3 & 4)
Is It Worth it?: If you like fountains, sure. But use it with the other sequence fountains…it’ll create a better effect.

Item: Sequence Fountain 3
Cost: 5
5 ![]()
Club Points Earned: 25
on first 4
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +50
Size: 2×2
Limit: Limited to 4 at Level 2, once you reach Level 3 you can have as many as you’d like
What Does It Do?: Similar to the Constant Fountain, however this has a “resting” position (pictured in the image above). So, again like the title, it’ll run in a sequence. Every few seconds it’ll go up and down (designed to work well with Sequence Fountains 1, 2 & 4)
Is It Worth it?: If you like fountains, sure. But use it with the other sequence fountains…it’ll create a better effect.

Item: Spruce Moose
Cost: 60
80 ![]()
Club Points Earned: 480
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +300
Size: 7×7
Limit: Limited to 1 and only 1. So this is a unique item.
What Does It Do?: When tapped it hovers in the air, similar to the hovercopter. But it does not go very far off of the ground. Here’s how it looks in the air:

Is It Worth it?: It’s cool…especially if you have an airport. It’s one of the better crafting items…but it is a little disappointing that there isn’t more to it. However, based on the items available I’d say this is a must craft…
And finally Level 3 crafting…

Item: Dupes Sign
Cost: 5
10 ![]()
Club Points Earned: 120
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +150
Size: 2×3
Limit: Limited to 1 and only 1. So this is a unique item.
What Does It Do?: Just like all of the other signs. This is higher than the Cowgirl and it lights up. Here’s how it looks:

Is It Worth it?: If you’ve been collecting the signs then yes. I like this one better than the Cowgirl myself.

Item: Multicolored Spotlight
Cost: 5
10 ![]()
Club Points Earned: 10
on first 4
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +80
Size: 1×1
Limit: Since this unlocks at Level 3, you can have as many as you want.
What Does It Do?: Cycles through various colors. However, unlike the Cycling Spotlight, this does not automatically change colors. You have to tap it to change colors each time. Here’s a look at the colors:

Is It Worth it?: I like this one too. Especially if you have several of them, you can set different colors for various buildings/items.

Item: Sequence Fountain 4
Cost: 10 ![]()
Club Points Earned: 25
on first 4
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +50
Size: 2×2
Limit: Since this unlocks at Level 3, you can have as many as you’d like
What Does It Do?: Similar to the Constant Fountain, however this has a “resting” position (pictured in the image above).
Here’s a look at a few fountains together…

Item: Nero’s Fountain
Cost: 5
10 ![]()
Club Points Earned: 120
on first 2
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +100
Size: 5×8
Limit: Since this unlocks at Level 3, you can have as many as you’d like
What Does It Do?: Another fountain. This one just runs all the time.
Is It Worth it?: If you like fountains, sure. Adds a nice design element for in from of Nero’s

Item: Safari Casino
Cost: 80
60 ![]()
Club Points Earned: 480
(it’s supposed to award this…at least that’s what it indicated during Act 1…)
Conform-O-Meter: Consumerism +10
Size: 10×19
Earns: $90. 10xp/4hrs
Limit: Only 1 per Springfield, so this is a unique item.
What Does It Do?: Another casino, although this one has a cool rollercoaster animation when in use. Brockman has a 10hr task there, to Research Fluff News, which will animate the building. Here’s a look at it when in use:

Is It Worth it?: It is massive, but this is probably one of my favorite Casinos from the entire event. I love the animation on the Roller Coaster. To me this is the best prize for crafting.
And that completes the rundown of each prize. Of course what you might value as important will be different than what others thing is important. For example, the Safari Casino was the number 1 priority for me. But for someone else it might be the Spruce Moose, or one of the signs. So it’s up to you to look at each item and decide what you would or wouldn’t like to have in your Springfield and craft away accordingly.
What are your thoughts on the craftables? Any items you just have to have in your town? What are you grabbing multiples of? Design ideas? Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

After crafting all the unique items, I’ve only crafted walk of fame stars, intending to use them to make garden paths and the like. It’s high time for EA to give us some neutral kind of 1×1 tile, though (and ice too! i need icy soil for my xmas/northern area).
The Safari Casino is what caught my eye at the start of the event. I was surprised by its size, though. It dwarfs the other casinos.
Biggest disappointments are not even the craft-able items.
1. NERO’s CASINO is way too small.
2. The inability to get the GOLD DIGGERS sign if you didn’t previously have the SLEEP-EAZY MOTEL combo.
The Cowgirl sign looks really good in front of Nelson’s Mom’s strip club.
That’s exactly where I put mine! 🙂
Brockman does not have the task to Research Fluff News. I do have the safari Casino, but cannot make it do the animated roller coaster. Thank you for all you do everyone.
Yes. Brockman does have the task, and it’s what sets off the animation. Why would you doubt the experts?
He does, you may just have him automatically set in a premium costume. Have to set him back to his regular suit, and the task is there.
Only thing I can think of is make sure that Brockman is in his “regular” skin. The task didn’t show on my game, until I switched him from his Stonecutters skin (which I had kept him in for about 90% of the time since that particular event).
I had to switch suits and take brockman back to his regular outfit. The task was not in bold gold or at the top of te list. I scrolled to it and selected it and the Coaster appeared. Nice. Thank you all.
I know it’s not quite the same, but you can put the Spruce Moose on boardwalk tiles out in the middle of the water.
I did it to see if I could do the same trick with The Impossible Tower.
… no dice.
I discovered a very good use for the walk of fame stars. I’m using them to create a center line for my airport runway. I think it’s pretty clever.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/wwhpepeqrcbgikw/2016-03-21%2017.36.15.png?dl=0
I also just realized that the spruce moose doesn’t have wheels. It has float plane skids. They should have designed it to allow us to put it in the water.
Also- if you’re able to craft enough stars, you can write the runway numbers too
That’s a great idea. I was wishing I could come up with some thing for a center line on my runway. If only they had given us a Derry Air 747 to go along with the Spruce Moose.
Dotted?
Can you think of another item that could be used as a two dimensional line of some kind? The stars are as close as you can currently get in this game. Besides- it’s not real life. It’s the Simpsons. 😜
I didn’t wait for the pic to load. I see it now. Neat.
Awesome Design!
I was kinda hoping they’d give us upward pointing lights so I could do a similar effect. Unfortunately no such luck.
Here is a revised runway showing the runway numbers.

This is my latest incarnation of the idea.

Anyone else found the glitch with the club card points. If you store your crafted items you can craft new items and get the club card points again. I did this by accident because I didn’t care much for the walk of fame stars, so I stored them but noticed it said 10 club points for first 4 again.
The first 8 paid out club points.
Yes.
I did but then I think ea games like noticed now I can’t do it
you are AMAZING!!, thanks !!! 😀 I just got Gabbo and Arthur and was 60 points short from the last prize of the Players Club, so I storage two cycling spotlight to see if the glitch worked and it works! 😀
So, I’m stoked by the Ficus Plant. Why? Because I’ve been trying to keep a relatively “clean” Springfield layout, but still keeping my Conform-o-Meter at 5 stars. I did the math before and previously, the best “bang for the square” (i.e. – biggest return in the smallest land usage) was the Boardwalk Tree at 100 Tree-Hugging for a 1×1 square. Now, the Ficus is worth double that. Plus, because of its size, one can easily fill-in all the non-visible space behind tall-buildings and such with them. Thus yielding a high Tree-Hugging score without taking up much land. This should be particularly useful to anyone who’s hit the “maximum items” limit in their Springfield, since they could reduce the number of plants but still maintain their Tree-Hugging score.
Just my thoughts on this. Vanity points have never been a huge concern for me, so I don’t know if I’ll be crafting extras of the other items.
Great info! I was struggling with getting tree-hugging up in my B game, where it was the only rating keeping my overall score tied to 4.5%. You tip finally helped me gain the final 0.5%. Thanks a lot!
Any chance they are going to add any extra surprise crafting items?
Not that I see
I was so worried about crafting levels and it took so long to get to crafting level 3. Now that I’m there, it took no time at all to craft all of the one-of-a-kinds and a bunch of fountains and stars. It all seems pretty unbalanced.
Now I keep earning crafting currency and I don’t know what else to craft. I guess I’ll make a bunch more fountains and scatter them all over the place.
It took forever to reach level three. When I did I quickly ran out of things to craft. And now the currency is just piling up. I might buy up trees but the rest is very meh.
Hand down Safari Casino is the best
Scratch the last comment. I didnt read closely enough. Lol
Which character has a job at the Safari Casino?
I just got the Safari Casino and I especially love the animation, i could stare at it all day. But I got to collect blue chips for the last prize.
I love the Safari Casino, now I kinda wish I had gotten the extra animal exhibits from Christmas to go around it. Not sure what I’ll do with it all but I have all the unique items, so just earning crafting currency to make fountains, stars, and plants now.
That would be awesome to make it part of a zoo.
Don’t tell Ciara,
Now she’s thinking zoo/casino/roller-coaster/theme park
🐒 🐆 🐘 🐼 🐻 🐯 🐙 🎢 🎡 🎠 🎪 🃏 🎰 🎲
🙂
Zoo World.
This girl is bummed the Spruce Goose, I mean Spruce Moose, doesn’t go on water. It was also known as The Flying Boat. What the heck!!
Hmm, but this plane is a moose which is not a water fowl. Probably why it’s not called a goose.
Well, the plane’s actual name is the Hughes H4 Hercules, and it wasn’t even made of spruce; it was mostly birch. Its nickname is a complete misnomer. (Apparently, Howard Hughes was enraged by the name “spruce goose,” which was coined to mock the project.)
Agreed that the plane should go on water. It should also be bigger considering the Hercules is like the third or fourth largest aircraft ever built. Mine is on squidport for now, but I’m really hoping they’ll fix it. It belongs on the ocean, that’s what it was designed for.
I didn’t agree….. 😒
Ive kind of gone a bit mad with the crafting (again). I have everything and goodness knows how many of the unlimited items. My thought was to be able to be as artistic as possible when the event is over as theres nothing more annoying than not having enough lol. I have loved the casino event ive found that the prizes and crafting materials
Have led to lots of ideas for my town oh happy dayz xx
Is it bad I have crafted 10 of each 5 fountain types?
I’ve also got 30 stars and 8 of each spotlight! I’ve got nothing else to spend my crafting currency on, so I’m just buying as much as I can…and there’s still 7 more days left! 😀
Currently just trying to craft stuff that gets me player cards-once that’s done, I shall get on to crafting for enjoyment.
Crafted the sign, the Casino, the plane. Crafted some fountains and Star blocks to help square up my Springfield blocks and fill things out. At this point I’ll blow all remaining crafting items on constant or sequence fountains as I’ve got everything I need crafting wise. Once I get to max chips for P3, I’ll be ditching gambling as a time sink.
Awesome post. TYVM Alissa.
I was waiting for this for a while since I missed out on lucious and was low on club points. I just said “go for it” with the safari casino and it was a pleasant surprise to get almost caught up on my points. Whoo hoooh!! I agree that it’s definitely a must have.
The spruce moose was another must have for me. Yes it doesn’t move much but the sound is cool. Plus I just love the Howard Hughes theme.
Going to go crazy crafting fountains and cycling spotlights now that I just finished act 3. (except for the quest.) Already brought a bunch of Nero walls and white spotlights. All the spotlights look cool on the squidport btw.
Happy taps people 😎👇🏼
I think you got the club points for the stars and the plant mixed up
Crafted everything since first 3rd afr day.. Just crafting all as much as i can now
So far I’ve crafted the plane, casino, signs, some Nero fountains, and a couple other little things. I’m holding off til the end the the end to use up my currency. I want a lot of lights and fountains. The ficus plants are too tiny. The trees work well as “special” plants though lol.
I was thinking the exotic trees were too small but I like your take on them as “special” plants. I can kinda see the resemblance. Are you building a whole field of exotic trees?
I’d like to craft a bunch for the Woodstock and Cletus’, just wating til the end to see how much I can make 🙂
Hippie’s recycling centers
Drugs are bad mkayyyyy 😑😁
Mr Mackey makes me giggle!
I’m pretty sure it was you that pondered where to place the sign.
https://simp7fan.files.wordpress.com/2016/03/cowgirl_shotkickers.png
I think it makes a good pair next to Shotkickers. Better than the strip joint (which has a much different style of sign). Maybe even the She-She, if you have it. Black and pink, eh? 😉
Ouuu good idea!! I like that way more than the strip club. Less redundant. Gonna switch it now. And I don’t have the She She unfortunately 😛
Glad you like it.
Much better 😀

Thanks.
Hah *turns red* ignore my other comment. Another image I didn’t know I was waiting for to load. 🙁
Here’s what my actual comment was supposed to look like: Looks good. 🙂
Also, no coins, eh? I’m still struggling to spend 100. 261 donuts? Nice. Only 5mil? 😀 I have 6mil! 😉 Hmm, I think you play on a phone. I do, too, and it only gives me space to show two tasks at a time. When I was using a tablet I could have like 4 or something (I forget the number) showing. That’s all. Thanks for the snoop.
Hah! No worries 😉 this was when I was still working towards Gabbo so I was spending them as soon as I got them.
I had over 500 donuts about abweek ago but then along came the Peacock, Waterfall and a few other things 🙂
And yaaa I used to have 7mil at my highest, but spent a lot on land.
And yes I play on an iPhone. I have a tablet which I can’t get to connect to wifi without a sim card. Plus I just charged it up for the first time since Tapball and the screen has gotten cracked :'(
I might borrow that idea 🙂
Has anyone else not been getting players club points? Or maybe my crafting section just has a glitch, because I could swear that I’ve placed more than enough multiple items but it hasn’t kicked to unlimited on several yet.
If you store them then it lies to you. No points if you’re crafted over the limit even once and then stored them.
I’ve crafted all the unique items, which I love. Now I am having fun crafting the small unlimited items and decorating my town with them.. There’s so many possibilities with the fountains, and I’ve created a nice walk of fame with the stars in front of my Springfield heights theatre 🙂
I’ll probably spam trees, then maybe I can squeeze another half-star into my Tree-hugging rating.
That Safari Casino was surprisingly huge. Wow. Like Heights scale…just massive. But I like it.
It is bigger than the Brittania.
I tought the craftables were a little dissapointing. Too much pointless decorations. It would have been nicer if there were bigger items but they’d be harder to get. I’ve crafted every item already. Also it seems like I get less martinis than the others
