Wild West 2016 Prize Guide: Act 2, Prize 3 Ordnance Express

A very mini Whacking Day event has hit our games.  It’s basically just reselling Whacking Day items.  I’ll cover this a little later today after I get to the office. It’s nothing major, so don’t panic 🐍

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

The Wild West is alive and well in our Springfields!  As the Wild West Event has hit our games and it’s full of old west inspired decorations, buildings & characters!

This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story.  To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act.  Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event.  For the Second Act you’re tasked with collecting Deputy Badges         (ico_wildwest_deputybadges_md) to unlock each prize!

The third Act 2 prize is awarded at 3,890ico_wildwest_deputybadges_md is the Ordnance Express, because it’s about time Willie realized there was a gun store in town!

So let’s take a closer look at this third prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…

Once you’ve collected 3,890 ico_wildwest_deputybadges_md you’ll automatically be awarded the Ordnance Express and you’ll see this message popup:

And you’ll have the option to place or Store it in your inventory.  Remember if you store it you’ll have to go into your inventory to retrieve it…

The Ordnance Express does come with it’s own questline and it’ll start right up for you once you place (and build) in your town.  Here’s a look at the questline now:

Wild Wild Willie Pt. 1
Willie starts

Build the Ordnance Express- 4hrs
Make Willie Shop for Guns and Ammo- 6hrs, Earns $225, 55xp 

Wild Wild Willie Pt. 2
Willie starts

Make Willie Impatiently Wait For a Gun- 24hrs, Earns $600, 150xp

Wild Wild Willie Pt. 3
Willie starts

Make Willie Lie in Wait- 8hrs, Earns $275, 70xp

And here are the quick facts on the Ordnance Express:


Build Time: 4hrs
$150, 13xp/8hrs
Consumerism +10
What Does It Do:
After the questline, Willie will have a task there.  2hr task to Shop for Guns and Ammo, which earns $225, 55xp.  Moe also has a task there.

And there you have it the details behind the Ordnance Express…Willie’s one stop shop for all his guns and ammo needs!

What’s Next?
Well there is 1 prize after the Ordnance Express, 200 Guns.  I’m not going to do separate posts about them as it’s pretty basic.  Once you unlock it, more guns will be added to your gun total.

Here’s a quick breakdown…

ico_wildwest_pickaxepack_lg Awarded at 5,870ico_wildwest_deputybadges_md.  This will add 800 Pickaxes to your total Pickaxes count (found in the Event Hub).  This is not a tangible item for Springfield, it’s just 800 Pickaxes added to your total on hand.

Next Tangible Prize for Springfield…

    The prize for the last 1750 badges in act 2 is not donuts it’s $100 and 10 badges which is pointless since act 3 will move on from badges to gold

  2. Moe also has a 2 hour task at the ordnance express.

  3. The last few buildings only light up the windows, no other animation like an animal scurrying. That’s okay, I guess…

    Alissa, why does it say “The third Act 2 prize (and first prize of the entire event)”? Is that just a template typo?

  4. I like this event, a lot but for the first time I feel the need to make a separate area, which is OK but these buildings can’t just ‘blend in’

  5. Yay, Whacking Day! I missed it before, so I bought the bundle in a flash. What they don’t tell you is that the Speakers and all the Snake Generators also have a 2% bonus, so that made it even better!

  7. Hello, I was wondering : can we ignore Snake and Wes Doobner questlines to focus on generating resources instead (e.g. Bart is implied in both questlines but also helps for pickaxes/hats) ?

  8. Whacking Day has been commercialized!! Just like Christmas, it’s now strictly a marketing tool and only used to push merchandise. So sad…
    And I was so excited to see something that might be fun in the middle of a loooooonnnnggg meh event.
