Popping in to let you know there IS an update in the files. (no it’s NOT available for download yet…so don’t start screaming “I Don’t see It!”) So we are getting an update today.
And I suggest keeping your main characters (you know the ones from below Level 20) free…it’s just good practice.
So to when? Well it’s anyone’s guess at this point.
As to what? Well let’s just say a lot of your speculation about this image:

Let the fun begin! Remember this will be an APP STORE update (and will likely hit iOS first)…so keep checking those stores for the download.
Oh and also remember…I know there are other sites out there that post images/spoilers of what’s to come. But please don’t post those images or details in the comments. We’ll try to remain as spoiler free as possible. Thanks!

The suspense… I’m tempted to go to a more spoiler friendly site, since I probably won’t get the update till tomorrow morning (Kindle, from Europe), but where’s the fun in that. Upside though, most tappers sleep then and the servers don’t crash that much.

If you are talking about times for the update… what timezone are you referring to? I’m in Germany so I have to shift this a little.. 😊
I give all my times in GMT, but then I adjust for ET (because if the Americans that read this site are anything like me the GMT goes right over their heads lol…i didn’t figure out the conversion until i started this site)

It seems a little weird to me that we’re getting another full event so soon after the last one. I guess now that they’re not giving us anymore more new levels that we will be getting more events. It definitely keeps the blood flowing with anticipation all of the time.
I think this is the “new normal.” It is the huge updates that keep us engaged and the donut money flowing for EA. This last lull was actually welcome, even if it was supposed to be an update…it was EAsy to finish quickly! I’m actually ready for the next big thing…bring it on!!

I like the events. I’ve bought some more land inbetween events and have a decent amount of cash.
Ugh, I thought my monorail pay out would be the 20 donuts because last week I got 10 donuts, but I actually am going to get a new terminal. I am one of those who missed the original Monorail event.
So now I only have 61 donuts! I wanted a couple of things from the springfield games premium items. I may need to actually drop cash to get the premium items in the new event.
This became longer than it needed.. I cant stop thinking TSTO!!!!
Ah….you answered one of my questions. I don’t play a B/C game…so I only know my own. Now I realize that those who didn’t have the full Monorail from last time only got 10 donuts, when those of us who did, likely got 20. I just checked. I am slotted to get 20 donuts again this week, because I have most of the stations. Still waiting out the other tunnel!!
“so soon”?? It’s been over three weeks! We’ve only had the lame olympics mini-event to keep us busy (for a few days at most). I’ve been bored out of my mind waiting for the next event
I’ve rather enjoyed the “downtime”, and have done some rearranging in my SF. I don’t know how, but I also managed to connect all 3 of my monorail terminals together with a littl tweaking, including the tunnel to SH & the Mall terminal 😊
I liked the down time. My two favorite times for playing the game are at the beginning of new events, and right after the event ends.
Same here! The excitement of a new event, then the satisfaction of completion (MOST of the time😊)
Is it me or does this update feels like it is taking forever to come?
lol it’s like the “old days”. Files hit the server for major events and then the app store has them around 1-2pm EDT. I’m not complaining lol

An app that checks the playstore for you and alerts you when the update is available……
but then you would keep checking the app to make sure it was working,
or you could just wait till Alissa says it’s live,……. and then it will all crash after ten mins because everybody wants it this instant,

I like to switch to my (ugh) small iPhone when an update is going to hit. It’s usually first. Then when I update I can go back to my Samsung Tab & it updates right away😊😊😊
Not exactly the same thing but when I had two Android devices going I would update on one and play on the other while it updated. That was a pretty sweet, not miss a moment, situation.
That is tempting, but with my luck, something would go wrong 😂

I sent all of my characters (that aren’t churning out monorail track pieces) on one hour tasks in anticipation of the new event. Sky finger will have a new task today: tap on the App Store update. 😜

I just checked the app store (it’s after 9:00 am here on the west coast). No luck. So I put my iPad to sleep, woke it up and tried the app store again. Drat! Still not there.
