Hey Howdy Hey Tappers! After 11 weeks of voting it’s time to crown our Bracket Battle Champion! Remember this is just for fun…no way is this an indication that EA will add the winner to our games. Really just a fun way to see what you all thought.
Before we get to Safi, let me say a big thank you to all of YOU for participating week after week in the battles! You all made your voice matter and that’s awesome! So thank you for participating. And finally I’d like to big a HUGE (YUUUUUGGGGEEE) thanks to Safi for all his hard work with this! Safi, you did an awesome job with the challenge..thank you for you dedication and hard work, and for making this fun for everyone! And now let’s get to the winner…

How much longer EA can keep Tapped Out going is up for debate. But what isn’t debatable is that there are plenty of characters in the rich history of The Simpsons universe still not in our little game. From Homer’s college mates to his look-a-likes, from Bart’s crushes to Lisa’s idols, from four-eyed friends to four-legged pets, there is plenty of ‘untapped’ potential (pun intended). But which character do we really want?
We present to you the TSTO Addicts: Most Desired Character Bracket Battle…..

Well, he’s not the winner of the title “Most Desired Character”. But after losing in the first Round to Jacques with just 44.67% of the vote, Sgt. Skinner does become the first character from the Bracket Battle introduced into our games as an actual character (sorry, Pinchy fans, his brief appearance doesn’t count).
Now before I get to the announcement, I just want to take a minute to thank A/B/W for running these posts over the summer. Especially to Alissa for all her hard work in transferring and setting up the posts, sending me results each week, answering all my emails, etc.

Thank you to everyone who voted and commented each week. I’m overwhelmed by the over 225,000 votes cast and countless comments (well technically they are pre-counted, but I’m too lazy to add them up). As mentioned, this was one of four Brackets I had started working on a couple years ago. Let A/B/W know in the comments if you’d like to see me back in the future with another of my Bracket Battles.

Kind of a mix between “Homerpalooza”/”How I Spent My Strummer Vacation” would be perfect. OOOooohhh… The Rolling Stones’ Rock’n’Roll Fantasy Camp in our towns… I dream about that…

I enjoyed doing the voting bracket, though most of the ones I voted for didn’t make it and that included the final vote, I still had a good time. I loved the reveal video (despite the song at the end, I’ve never cared for it), it was a cute way to reveal the winner. Thank you Safi!

I wonder what would have happened if Itchy and Scratchy were in the bracket as Combos… BGums still win? We will never know (unless you re do this next year leaving BGM and SWiggum out, maybe treacle out the top four) people’s opinions may change in a year?

My favourite was Rabbi Krustowski, but unfortunately he was eliminated by BGM early on. And in the last round, I voted for Mrs. Wiggum. I always like to see more women in my town, but I still welcome everyone, even Robo Burns, Doggy Smithers and Sgt. Skinner. Although we again get more men than women in the current event. It’s a men’s world…
Didn’t turn out how I wanted ( Kompowski) but it was fun to vote every week. I see BGM as the ghost in the clouds. Maybe like Space Coyote.

Now EA can see this and turn him into a super premium character … D’oh! But maybe we’ll get a Jazz event / Music event / Night club event or… Dental event (Lisa needs braces)? Faberge Egg, Easter Event? Long lost family member event (Hibbert’s family can be extended).
Honestly I’m glad it’s over, but very much excited to see the next Bracket Battle category /Post.

We have Maude (even though she is a ghost), one of the two Vegas wives died and she’s in the game, Frank Grimes, Dr. Marvin Monroe, Sherry Bobbins, all the former Presidents, and I feel like I’m forgetting someone or something..
None-the-less, where gamers will Pay (cash/donuts) there is always a way. It’s the EA way 🤑

We have currently have 6 or 7 Homers running around our games. I think bringing back a dead man won’t be that hard.
BGM is an iconic character, even if he died early in the show’s run. Sarah is a background character. The argument for why she should be included is her relationship to other characters, not anything about her as a character. Do you really blame people for wanting a character who is significant because of the role he played in the show over one who exists only because she’s related to more central characters?

According to the video, Bleeding Gums had 68,10%, so that would give Sarah Wiggum 31.90%. I think any of the top 4 would have been good winners, and several others who were eliminated early (especially Rabbi Krtustofski) also would have been good choices.
