Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
So it looks like we’re going to have about a week or so of downtime in the game before we see Halloween launch. There will still be stuff hitting our games this week, but it’ll be minor. So consider this your downtime to redesign and recharge your tapping finger for the next big event!
I plan on fully taking advantage of this downtime to do some site clean up and restructuring. So that some things we let go while we were super busy with event after event can be organized properly and some other items can be found more clearly.
So that brings me to the part where I need you and your opinion. What would YOU like to see me work on? What areas of the site do you think need to be cleaned up and reworked so they’re easier to navigate? What would you like to see added to the site for basic game play? (like do you what charts about various things? A page dedicated to certain areas of game play? etc) Let me know in the comments below and I’ll see what I can work on. Keep in mind I only have about a week or so..and I do have a full time job lol…but I’ll do my best to clean up, restructure and post whatever it is you guys would like to see!

Ways to earn more donuts without doing that farming thing. Just looked at the post for that and it was crazy complicated. I did try using the collider thing because it was supposed to lead to more donuts somehow but it didn’t for me. Also would like to know when we get more Mt. Rushmore style monuments. I only have Homer so far.

I am still trying to reach Billionaire Heaven in SH. Since it’s such a chore to collect the currency it would be nice to see a chart as to which way is most effective for gaining real estate value ie upgrading the business centers vs parking garages, etc.
i’d like a way to subscribe to a thread without having to post in it first…. 😉
I would like a guide for getting a higher xp/cash multiplier for both freemium and premium players, like suggestions for what items I should buy, how to play etcetera.
Also (and I realize this is probably too big to be done) change keywords on posts to be more consistent. I’ve noticed in the past when trying to find information about something specific that the keywords may vary between two or more articles about related topics which results in that I won’t find all related articles about something when I click a keyword (the keywords might be similar but not exactly alike). Unfortunately it was a while since I did a search like this so I can’t give a specific example.
Hub pages are good, I’d like to see more of those for easy and quick navigation. Maybe a main hub with links to popular topics, posts and to more specific hubs (like event hubs, character hubs (separated in freemium, premium limited time for instance), similar hubs for buildings and decorations as for characters, Springfield Heights hub, monorail hub etcetera). I know there already are hubs for some of my suggestions but some are hard to find and some are not up to date. With a main hub linking to sub hubs I think navigation on the site could be much easier.
I think my second and third suggestions both boil down to one thing: easier navigation. With all information on the site, and with more being added, it becomes harder and harder to navigate the site and I would like to see you address that in some way or another. Maybe there are even better ways to achieve this than through my suggestions so see them for what they are, suggestions 🙂

The one thing I refer the most is character groups. For example who is under celebrity, Brainiac, Criminal etc. Please oh please don’t remove that 🙂 I do wish it was a little easier to get to. If you search glutton, you have to read the post “daily challenge rundown” to find the groups, which is the third post. 🙂 🙂

Sorry I am late to the party on this post, and I apologize now if this topic was covered. Anywho, with all of the events snowballing together making a huge avalanche of new items, I suggest updating the lists for Conformity, and how each of the new items from crafting or rewards fit in the scheme of things.

Three things and I’m not sure if these even apply here. First, the storage. Please find away to suggest gifting or selling items in storage. Even with the organization things get lost. I have too many repeats. I didn’t know I’d be stuck with 50 pumpkins from Halloween events past. Second, this is silly but I’d love the parking spaces to have cars in them. Not all of the spaces but randomly filled. Every time I go to Krusty Land the car lot pops out at me. And lastly, Krusty Land. Please, please, please add another ride. Why keep having a daily challenge to send us to a space we no longer use? I’m not sure if these ideas are what you’re looking for but have been on my mind. Love this game and the writers of tsto addicts! IV played four years now. Thanks!

Maybe a direct link in the sidebar (like the event calenders and the springfield heights one) to all the different should I buys (event and regular). I’m often searching a while for these, especially for permanent characters. I can often find them with a site search using the search bar, but sometimes it takes a while to find something especially if a character’s or buiding’s name is often mentioned in other posts.
maybe and easier faster way to look for my past “posts” w/o having to remember “key words” or bookmark it on my pc. is it even possible to have a little “button” telling letting us know if we have “replies” at all w/o going through our email/spam… oh werl.
Uh… I’m not sure if you’re joking or not? Assuming your not, if you’re logged via WordPress there is a button on the top-right of the website, which has all of your replies/likes/comments/unread etc. It even lights up orange when you have anything new…

Maybe a character inventory?
They could have some minor stats like premium/non-premium, date of introduction, if they accompanied a building, how they were earned (available for purchase vs. gifted during _____ event, earned for completing prize track in ____ event).
Ok…. Never mind. Just found it’s already there….Update maybe?
I will totally end up on a 2 hour tangent on that page at some point.
I’d really like to see more updates to the”tricks and tips” set of pages. Like the full dialogues for some premium characters, turbo taps for some of the earlier levels, should I buys on old characters and items, character bios like the kids or women of Springfield, and updating all the links to articles related to events. My favorite part about this site is that I can use it as a reference to look up information about playing the game. You guys have been doing a great job trying to keep up with events but some of the things I listed above haven’t really had much time to be posted.
We need to be able to clean out our inventory of thing we have won not bought. Things that can’t be sold. You have to wade through all of this carry over to find things we would like t sell or use. There are to many things in this inventory.
Totally! But they really need a keyword search box and/or ways of filtering items. For example, I want to be able to show all of my fountains instead of scrolling through hundreds of items to remember which ones I have. Similarly for the Wild West rocks. The current system is really tedious!

Similar to my wish that I were young with no arthritis in my knees again (and I listened when people kept telling to take care of my teeth, because my dentist has me on a ten year crown plan) so I could still ride my Harley – which I know will never happen – I wish that there were a comprehensive list off all the items and what their Inventory names are and where best to look for them. I have SO MANY items in there that if there was one reason to stop playing the game it’s because my inventory looks like my pantry with jars and cans and boxes all over and then so many of the names don’t make sense and I get frustrated having to scroll through hundreds of items to find that one…… Sequence Fountain 2.
I wish for a search inventory feature from EA 😛
One thing I just thought of, but I’ve seen, and given a few comments in the past that were directed to be responded or seen by a specific Moderator. May not be 100% accurate/possible, but what about an area with a moderator schedule of sorts, so we’d know, like, if we want to post something for Patric we’d post around this timeframe, Wookiee this timeframe, etc.
impossible to do. We don’t know who’s going to be in the comments and when…we all just jump in when we can. Setting a schedule is pretty much impossible with our schedules.
That’s what I was thinking as I typed it, but couldn’t think of any suggestion that hasn’t already been mentioned and wanted to take part 😀 lol

It would be slot of work but I think it would be pretty cool to have a chart for as many buildings with how much money and XP and how often

Not sure if this is possible or not but I’d love to see a chronological list of all of the events and posts associated with it.
Like the wild west event and all posts in it, then the superhero event and all posts about it.
That way people who haven’t been in the game for long can see what past events were like and the prizes associated.
Almost an event manual.

Sunday coming I plan on posting a screenshot of my Squidport / SH Boardwalk. Everything that I currently own, that can go on the boardwalk, IS on the boardwalk 😀 Missing a few items however, but they are somewhat known things, like the ferris wheel, or the food vendors and npc boardwalk people.

I’d like to see a search feature on the app. I use the app much more than the website, but have to go back to the website for searches.
Also, maybe a favourites feature so certain pages can be found more easily. This is especially the case with calendars on big events, which are often dropped off if there are too many pages.
The app basically redirects you to the website. So once you’re on an article you can utilize the search feature from the site because you’re viewing the site.
I take a screen shot of the calender so I can jump right to it. If this helps.
I’d love to see a chart of all joint tasks. No one gets sent on a joint task via the unemployment office, and I miss them but I’m not about to scroll through 140 characters to figure out who has them (and for what length of time). Given how busy you guys are, maybe this would work as a project on Google docs, with addicts working together to compile the list.
