Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
In continuing the series of “what would you like to see on this site during the downtime” posts, we’re going to tackle another popular requested item. Many of you commented that you wanted to see more charts. More specifically…charts that show every item in the game that offers a Cash & XP bonus %, or just an XP bonus %.
So I’ve had a list together of these items and I once again collaborated with the King of Charts, Safi. We put our charts together and voila we’ve got ourselves a bonus percentage chart.
Without further ado, let’s take a look at a comprehensive list of items new and old, permanent and limited-time..that all own a bonus percentage…
Remember, in order to get credit for these bonus percentages the items MUST be in your Springfield. You will not get credit for items in your inventory...
Also, a quick way to check your visible bonus percentage simply tap on your conform-o-meter stars. That’ll bring up your conform-o-meter details and breakdown your overall bonus percentage in your game. (Note: This will NOT show your hidden XP bonus % from Springfield Heights items)
And now onto the chart…
Update…Please read this important Note: Regarding the Simpson Snowmen (Bart, Homer etc)…if you earned them during Christmas 2015 they will not earn a bonus %. EA released another version of them last Christmas (2015), that looked exactly the same but did not award a bonus %. So that’s why you’re not seeing a bonus % associated with them when you pull them from inventory. If your obtained them from a previous Christmas (2014, 2013 or 2012) they award the bonus % indicated on this chart. If you’re not sure when you got them…the simple test is to pull them from inventory and see if your meter goes up. If it doesn’t increase they’re from 2015, if it does you obtained them in one of the previous Christmases.

Just a little piece of advice, DON’T PUT Snowball II snowcat and Santa’s Little Helper Snowdog in your storage ! I just did to check if they were gaining extra xp&$ and they just disappeared, nowhere in my storage nor in my Springfield ! Luckily, as I collected them last winter, I didn’t lose any XP&$ bonus. Anyway, I’m very sad they are gone :'( and hope they’ll be back next Christmas…
The Santa’s Little Helper Snowdog you crafted last Christmas did not give you a bonus, just the one you bought.
This is so useful. Found a Bart Snowman in my inventory and shoved it behind a building – it was the only thing I had in there from this list, but it all helps.
The Exclusive Resort in SH has no bonus? That’s not the kind of exclusivity I would expect from an exclusive resort. Thanks for the list! Now I know where to focus my bulking and buying energy.

Has anyone noticed any buildings go missing from their towns in the last couple of days..? I’ve found a couple of empty spaces on my streets that I swear had buildings in them previously and can’t find them anywhere been through inventory and looked all over town just encase I accidentally moved them but nothing!
Could it be a temporary visual glitch?

I have a quick math question. One brown house yields 1 XP but after my bonus it yields 40 XP. If I’m understanding the hidden XP then that’s a total of around 150% with all SH buildings out added to my stated bonus at 504% gives mes roughly 654% total. But that would yield no more than 33 XP (with collider on). 1×6.5=6.5 XP
6.5×5=32.5 XP (with collider)
If I’m getting 40 XP than my bonus should be around 800% total right?
1×8=8 XP
8×5=40 XP (with collider)
Kind of a moot point but just curious if there’s more hidden XP items?? Or I just suck at math and someone here will correct me 😂
654 bonis total. So you get 754% of any stated amount of XP as you already normally get 100% of that. This is then rounded up, so 7.54 becomes 8. Then times 5 for collider means 40.
Think about it differently. Brown house is 1xp at 0% with no 5x, no hidden %. If you’re payout is 40xp, 1xp is normal payout. 39xp is from % and 5x. On items with very low xp payout TSTO does some crazy rounding. Find a building or character that payouts out 100xp and you get more accurate results.
Also SH is 153% if you have 3 Private Islands.

I’ve gone through my inventory a couple times looking for bonuses and using other lists and I’m careful about not storing anything new with a bonus, but I still managed to dig up 4 items totally 2.25% sitting in storage 🙂
Thank you so much for putting this together, Alissa and Safi, and thanks to all of you who commented about finding “buried treasures” in your inventory. I just went through my inventory and found stuff, too, which really surprised me. I’ve upped my percentage by 3.75% (it could have been another 1.5%, but I’m just not willing to have the nativity creche out all year long…too big and nowhere that it fits in!), which will translate to 18.75% with the collider!

I’m a multiplier freak and have just passed the 2000% mark,
I have been playing since whacking day and have spent a lot of cash on this game lol.
With the jet bike getting a rebate very soon I think my multiplier may be taking another hike.
How does the hidden Springfield Heights Bonus work?
For example for the Modern Mansion do I need to have all the add ons out or is is good enough to upgrade the mansion to level 5 and just have that one building out or do I need everything out to get the 5%
Just the main building needs to be out, accessories for the hidden bonus have no impact.
The hideaway is different though, that’s a traditional cash and XP bonus, and all accessories need to be out to get credit for the hideaway.

I have a question for the crowd… Do the Springfield Heights buildings need to be fully upgraded to get the hidden bonus? If they do, do they need to have all their additional parts displayed (like all the modern mansion additions)? Thanks in advance!! Oh, and thanks of course to the TSTO Addicts team for all their hard work!!!
No and the parts don’t need to be out either…
The Island does need to be at at least Level 2 though.

PATRIOTIC BOX OF FIREWORKS that I have, and
BOX OF FIREWORKS.
I pulled the former out of storage, restarted my game and no change in my multiplier.

Thanks Alissa, I added like 20% more by pulling some of the stuff outta my inventory….and thanks for the tip about the snowman. Though I only noticed the French flag giving me bonus, but not the American flag, but it wasn’t part of that bundle so maybe I got the wrong flag.

CBOOMBOOM- The USA flag with the larger base does not have a % multiplier. Hence why I have 30 in storage now. The smaller base ones have the bonus…..💜X
The ‘American’ flag (large base) doesn’t have a bonus, but the ‘United States’ flag (small base, included with the Flag Bundle) does. That’s how you can tell them apart in your inventory; I just bought a Flag Bundle & was wondering how I could tell them apart w/out placing them & noticed the difference in names. 😊

I do wish that the bonus counted even if the item was in storage though. The “dump” section of my town would be more attractive if I didn’t have to put all the items I don’t currently want in my town somewhere to not lose the bonus …
I big thank you as well re SH hidden bonuses. Part of my SH is alsonow less attractive, but added 85% in hidden bonuses!

I am a List Lover – thus I want to thank you both Safi and Alissa for putting this together.
As you know, lists can be sorted in multiple ways – alphabetical (A-Z) but also numbarical (High number – Low number). I love the list but which it was oginized Highest percentage to lowest — though I can look myself, there are lazy people out there 😛
lol actually I’m cleaning up a google doc version to link so you can sort as you wish…but that version won’t have images. Can only do so much at one time 😉

Thanks for the heads up on the Bart snowman. I had it in storage. Funny thing is I have duplicate grandpa and Maggie snowmen but neither gave an increase. I guess I got them both last year
