It looks like we have journeyed back in time to celebrate the Festivities this year. The game is being infultrated with some old school rituals, Pagans, Goats… will we see Conan?… or CROM??!! 😉
With all the cool new stuff hitting the games for this smaller Event, I am sure the panic will set in (if it has not already) of the need for a daily Calendar to follow to keep you all on track. Well we don’t want our Material Collection stuck back in time… so I guess …
IT’S CALENDAR TIME!!

EVENT CALENDAR STARTING 12/7/16, DAY 2 OF Act 1
As per usual, I will be starting the Calendar one day AFTER the Act releases so you can factor in time you will need to send Characters on tasks, get Buildings, and fully launch the New Act. I will also be stopping it the night BEFORE the Act ends, as it will give you enough time to focus on all the other last minute stuff.
Now you have a basic daily breakdown for 11 days based off of approximately 6214 
Antlers a day.
Again, do not panic. Remember that it is slow going at first so you may “appear” and feel like you are behind, but as you progress through the Questlines and Event you will start to see that you are getting more and more and more each day. Just go at a pace that fits you, but remember the more you play the more you will get. These are totals you want to reach by the end of each day if possible.
ACT ONE PRIZES
Here’s the rundown of the prizes available during Act One that you can win by just playing the game and collecting Antlers.
Goat God Statute- 4,850 Antlers (This is a prize from the upcoming episode)
Pile of Runestones- 11,350 Antlers. (100 stones, used for crafting)
$5 Antler Rental- 22,750 Antlers
New God Mr. Burns- 35,800 Antlers (Skin for Burns)
Goblet of Runestones- 42, 300 Antlers. (250 Runestones, used for Crafting.)
Cult Flying Saucer- 52, 050 Antlers
The Parson- 68,350 Antlers (Full character, leader of the Presbylutheran faith in Springfield)
BONUS ROUND?
There are BONUTS awarded at the end of the prize track. For every 5,100 Antlers you collect you’ll have a chance for 1, 2 or 3 donuts…

I was a good 5k behind a few days ago but I just recalculated want I need daily and was able to.catch up. Thanks for the great calendar 🙂
I managed to catch up to the calendar before the update hit, but it will definitely help with act 2 if they are going to be generous with these things or I may have to keep sneaking off every 4 hours on Xmas day to tap. Not sure the small boy will approve. Ah well

I am 1 full day behind. Not sure how-halloween and I was way ahead of schedule but now I don’t think Parson is doable. Of my neighbors I am tied for 4th best for Gnome in home leaderboard so i feel like I am tapping the way I am supposed to. Hmmmm
Have you been trading in catnip and wooden figurines for antlers beyond just the four needed for the daily task? If not, that could be your problem….go and cash in that stash for antlers! 🙂
Wow thanks, as a vet TSTO player this boggled me, rookie moves, had only gotten the first 2 prizes. Looked and had nearly 3k of each to trade in. Now somewhat caught up, working on flying saucer.
I am about 2.5 days behind the schedule and not sure how?

I started few minutes after update was released and I have now 54,000. So if you have all characters available to make sculptures and catnip, and if you log in 4-5 times a day to harvest them, I think you should make it.
13th December and I’m at 22000 antlers clearly i’ve missed loads. Didn’t help I didn’t have the elf coming out his box for 3 days but wow so far behind and I’m usally getting bonus. I wonder how far I can expect to get this time. I’ll probably miss out on prizes 6 & 7 but we’ll see.
I started a day late and simply can’t catch up and with four logins a day I am only getting about 6,300 a day with no resources/crafting stockpiled. Am i missing something?
Oh, my, that was a lot of tapping to get caught up, and it only took 4 days, since I started 2 days late – Just needed to be a little more ocd about every 4 hours, and it has worked. And yes, I’ve been able to get decent sleep, too. 😴
I am currently a day behind the calender. I hope I can make this up without spending donuts, but not sure I will make it. I am not hoarding catnip or figurines, but the work Xmas party destroyed my timescales.
I’ve made it to Friday (GMT evening) and have only hit 12,400 – therefore 6k off the calendar target. I am farming four times a day, have King Winter doing his daily antler task, as well as doing event tasks and visiting my neighbours. Not sure what is happening but how can I be 6k off the pace?!
Are you turning in all you can until you’ve depleted your resources?
At Springfield Henge? If so: I am only turning in enough to compete the day task and then I wait until the time expires and it releases another day. I currently have 1200 catnip and 1200 antlers stockpiled.
Well, that’s the problem. No need to hoard right now…. Turn them in and you’ll likely find yourself ahead of the calendar.
Yep, have done that – was just concerned I’d not be able to do the daily task but, as you said, I’m now ahead of the calendar 🙂
Is there an antler trade limit? I know the prize track stops at 4 trades, but can I keep trading for antlers indefinitely?
Yes. It just added them to your total for the overall prize track.
I paid donuts for the chicken coop in the past and now it is craftable. Does this affect my older purchase? Will new coops get a bonus?
Nope craftable ones don’t have a bonus

So, I’ve tried skimming through all of the posts regarding this event (and some of the comments, but there are WAY too many). I’m trying to find an answer.
Usually there will be random characters that have one of their usual tasks available with event currency payout. This is separate from the event tasks that are assigned to the buildings (Willie’s Shack for example). I’ve only found one for this event – White Witch Burns. Are there any others? I’ve looked at everyone that might make sense for a winter event, but haven’t had any luck.

Huzzah for Bunny and her calendar. It’s lovely to see you and this format. Crafting holds a bit more appeal for me than the prize track in this event but bonuts (sweet, sweet bonuts) will probably keep me plugging away…
I am a little underwhelmed by all the prizes at this point but the theme isn’t too bad. I’m writing from New Zealand where it’s summer and most of what happens in TSTO bears no resemblance to what’s outside my window anyway (Fourth of July? Thanksgiving? What the…) but there are still enough traditional Christmas elements that I don’t have to rely on the game for my festive spirit or Midnight Mass reminders.
Huzzah indeed. I think we can all learn a lesson here from dear Bunny. The calendar has come to mean so much to us during the hustle and bustle of these busy times we live in, that it is good to take the time to reflect back upon those efforts which have given help to so many. In my own case I know as a single mother of four trying to make ends meet that I don’t always have the time to enjoy this game the way I once did if it weren’t for the efforts of those unsung heros who do the dirty work for me in planning out my gaming strategy ahead of time. There have been numerous times in the past when I just didn’t know if I should tap Rev. Lovejoy and try for that shiny new mushroom patch or spend the time making peanut butter sandwiches for the boys so they wouldn’t end up in diabetic ketoacidosis. Well thanks to something called “insulin” and to blogs like this I can now keep my kids blood glucose levels well below what would otherwise be life threatening levels and still send Ralph to play wiggle puppy without a moments hesitation, all because of the wonderful people who run this blog. Thank you all so much! 😀😬🙄

Ah,the Parson. A character based on Bing Crosby, who in real life tormented his children whenever he had the chance and was described by one of them as being ” cruel, cold, remote and both physically and psychologically abusive”. Good times. And certainly appropriate for a holiday themed gouging of the American public.
And thanks for ruining White Christmas for me…
FYI, not sure if you mean the movie or the song. But if nothing else, the Otis Redding version of White Christmas is epic/possibly the best version.
Ah… once again, subjective opinion…which is cool. Otis’s version is good…but, not for everyone. Right?
