Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Happy Sunday to everyone. I am now only at 72,000. Do i have a chance at getting final prize?
I was just looking at the math post they did and if you have no premium characters (Moe, Marge, Skinner, Krusty, Cletus, Apu, and Homer) working it says you can get 5750 per day assuming 5 log in’s per day. Which puts you about 1k short. So it looks like you need to log in 6-7 more times to get enough intel for the last prize so it’s tough but still doable.

I visit a lot of friends daily, the max amount. I’d love it if there was some kind of number counter on how many things left there are to tap in a friends town.
I like being able to do it as fast as possible, but a lot of towns I look and look and there is nothing left to tap.
If you have a neighbor with nothing left to tap, especially if it happens twice in a row, you might want to check and see the last time that neighbor played. If it’s been a while, they may have left the game and you might want to replace them. (This is less likely to apply to newer players, who have markedly fewer buildings to begin with.)
Keep in mind that we are nearing the end of Act 1, going into Act II. I know in several past events, I’ve had quite a few neighbors who “hoard” items to help them get a boost on the upcoming prizes. One of those items is building taps. Something to consider. I’d say if their town does not suddenly clear at or near the start of Act II, then you can safely guess that they’ve abandoned their SF.
Anyone that hasn’t played for 3-6 months was cleared out last month and I added more.

3-6 months?!? Man, you’re generous! Unless I know that is going something specific on with someone, or they’re a “friend” from here, for me it’s more like 3-D weeks
If a town looks “tapped out” when I arrive, I spin across to the opposite side of town or to Squidport immediately. If there’s nothing available there, you can pretty much be sure the whole town is “tapped out”. Move on to the next neighbor…you can always catch them later that day…or come back tomorrow. You did your best 🤷♀️…
Try tapping in krustyland , takes a bit longer but you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes
I do that too, when town looks cleared.

I started playing around the time of the Whacking Day event, however long ago that was. I have something like 191 characters.
225 I think , or all of them which ever is higher ,
Im gutted dont think im going to get the last prize on act one, which is out of order considering I have even bought two premium characters to help with the missions, not happy
Man I feel for you , don’t know what lvl you are but I know that when I was low lvl I didn’t always get the free prizes I wanted , in fact most of the time when I started playing it was a lot harder to get the prizes and it has been only recently that I have got prizes that I missed out on back in 2012 , maybe try setting an alarm every four hours (even through the night /work or school) to make sure you get all the intel you can , refresh your friends to make sure they visit an you visit them every day, it reply dose help ,tap all the men in suits before doing a scan so you get double reward,.. I could help you more but I just can’t here 🤷🏻♂️ . But the prizes will come around again and when they do you’ll think oh yer remember when I really wanted that and now it’s on offer for x amount of donuts that I have saved up , be happy dude it’s just a tappin game
If you miss anything from Act 1 you always have the option of buying those items with doughnuts. If you’re on Act 2 simply select Act 1 from the progress screen and buy the older items. If you can, always try and visit at least every 4 hrs to get the event items if you can.
If you get close, you may be able to speed it with a few donuts – sometimes for much less than it would cost to buy it later. Good luck!
True…picking up Bont for 30 or less donuts is a bargain compared to buying him in the store. If free isn’t going to happen, I hope you can finagle enough sprinklies to get him by the end of the event.
I got Festivus CBG for 12 donuts that way.
Keep trying until the last minute. Even if you do not make it entirely, it reduces the amout of donuts needed for the “buyout”. I am in the same situation in my B town, i hope i can reduce the buyout to about 30 or 40 donuts.
In my opinion, Bont may turn premium as a returning item in the store. So even spending more donuts could be justified, since stand alone characters usually are like 60 to 80 donuts, plus the laser table may turn into a bonus% item. Though all that is just speculation. Good Luck!
Whilst I am enjoying this event I think the crafting is probably my least favourite part of this purely because it takes so long to get anything I’m currently only working my way towards getting the atf Van now. Must admit though I do like the fragranced spy-acynths mostly for the animation when tapped and have crafted a few around my town.
It usually gets a lot easier the further we get into an event. Act I is always maddening that way.

Hi all! Hope everyone has had a great week. Enjoying this event, sorry to all my neighbour’s for not getting to visit everyday been a very busy lad as starting to build my base of operations for my new business. I noticed that when I play on my iPad Pro big screen tablet that the Drone Scan mini game gets me way more enemies than on my smaller Android phone screen in the 20 seconds you have to tap.
Anyone else notice this?

I’ve honestly never understood how people can primarily play this game on their phones. I’ll use my phone in a pinch, if I’m out and have to do a collection or something, but most of the time I play on my largest device (not including Bluestacks), my work iPad (not mini). I definitely think that helps with the drone game and other, similar things. If I didn’t have my work iPad, I think I’d invest in a cheap large-format Android tablet…even my 7″ Kindle Fire HD had gotten too small for me for this game.
I’m with you on that,Sandra! My iPhone 6 is a blessing when I update my three games,on the go! I invested in an iPad mini4 last summer and I’ve never looked back! My original iPad was slow and so flipping heavy,so the smaller screen is a fair trade off for me. Cheers!
I am playing on an android phone as I do not have any tablet. Previously play on iPhone 3GS. I control not to get a tablet as I know I will use it for gaming only
GREGORY – I have the opposite. On iphone I usually get 38-41. On Samsung tablet norm is 31-36. It’s a fun game…..💜X
Coincidentally, I noticed the same thing just tonight. I usually play on my iPad Air 2 but I was away from my iPad and checked into the game via my iPhone 7 Plus and scored less than I usually do at the drone scan as well as the insanity mode (taping the turtles).
I just got a tablet. Been playing on my phone all this time. Really haven’t seen a difference. Maybe because I’m a pianist…naturally fast fingers?
Love this super-grind event, playing it in all my three towns. A-town is finished and on bonuts-round no. 5, thanks to its many premium characters helping out.
B town without any premium support is struggling to collect enough for Bont. Roughly 10K missing with one and a half day to go, i’ll very likely need to use dome donuts to get him. I was collecting three to four times daily since the start, but skipped most neighbor visits.
So without premium support, the first act seems like a hard grind. Without the advantages of KEM farming in my A town, i would probably burn out from grinding during the 40 days this event is running.

For those who have 1000% bonus, how long did it take you to get there? I’m interested to hear from both freemium and premium players!
Just over four years , one an a half casual playing two and a half serious tapping , due to the collider there comes a point where your money and % allow you to farm and farm and erm farm, once you hit lvl 939 you can earn more donuts allowing you to buy buy buy
On my main game, before KEM farming, I had 296.15% on 9/7. After the beach items, I had 432.90% on 10/23. I started keeping track on 12/9 and had 483.40% and 84 million. Using KEM and Mystery Boxes. By 1/1/2017 I had 573.95% after buying all the Christmas items. By 2/1 I had 958.95%. On 2/10 I was down to 23 million and had 1102.95% Because of the land expansion. I redesigned my town, bringing out a lot of houses in storage. on 3/1 I had 1239.95% and $91M, all while buying gils deals, limited items, etc. On 3/17 after spending a 1000 donuts on the Irish items, i was at 1449.31% with $198M. By 3/28/2017 I finished by redesign and had stored some of my houses. I had 1512.56% and $222M, and 2238 donuts. I expanded my KEM farm a little while putting a way more houses. Buying land left me with $199M on 3/31. Now, 4/9, I am at 1750.81%, $205M and 1852 donuts. I been splurging, buying the whale and few other items (Barney, idols). I hope this helps.
CHARLES- What are you buying to increase you percentage so dramatically in such a short space of time please? Mine increases but at a snail’s pace. I hope I’ve not overlooked s’thing. Thanks for sharing…..💜☀️X
I have mentioned this in other posts, Mystery Boxes. They have billboards and vans. Average 6.4 to 9.7 donuts per 1% increase.

Also, take advantage of bonus% special offers when they show up in the store…recent example was x-ray machines…a great return on donuts spent and easily hidden in your town. Another event offered the mini-nukes…same story…if you can get a couple when they are offered, you can boost your bonus percent quickly. If you don’t have the Beach Hideaways, work to get all 5… they offer a 20% boost per hideaway (when completed) for a total of 100% increase in XP bonus – best deal in the game and it won’t cost a single donut👍😄.

On my B game, on 8/18 I had 234.95%. On 10/23/16, after the beach hideaway expansion, i had 359.20%. On 12/9/2016, when I started keeping track I had 419.20%. Started KEM farming, I had $11M to start, so it was slow. On 1/1/2017, 475.60%. On 2/1/2017, I had 699.35% and $20M. On 3/1/2017 I had 754.35% and was down to $2M after the land expansion.
On 4/1/2017 I had 925.10%. Today, 4/9/2017, I have 1018.10%, $3M and 269 donuts.
On this game I didn’t house farm. It was mainly used to test whether I should spend donuts on my main game, before I found this site, when earning donuts was harder.
I played for a while before I really understood XP bonuses or KEM farming or the XP Collider. Once I started reading Addicts and I saw what the potential was, it took about a year to get up to 1000%. The money and XP will increase exponentially as you progress…slow at first, then faster and faster. KEM farming gets more productive (obviously) as you increase your bonus %, so you can purchase more XP boosters, characters and properties, which increase your cash and XP more…it feeds on itself and continues to speed up. You will eventually get to a point where you can farm 100 KEMs for a couple days and it will replace your “spending spree” donuts, and bring you back to whatever donut reserve level you are comfortable with. I’m not giving any actual cash or XP figures here on purpose…you will need to decide for yourself how much cash or XP% is enough for your game…believe me, you’ll know when you get there.
Just give it a year…keep your Collider on at all times if you can afford it (or just when KEM farming if you are just starting out), keep increasing your XP% with smart purchases, keep farming whatever KEMs you can afford, increase your character count whenever possible, and buy properties and land with whatever donuts are left.
Just remember to have fun…if that means sometimes ignoring the smart decision – do it…buy something you really like that has no xp bonus and costs waaaayyyy too much…just because it’s fun👍. Unlike life, there’s no competition here…we all want you to win!

Any idea on the next Daily Bonus Task? Because they reward intel sometimes and I’m 8k Intels away from Bont. Any Freemium tips on intel collection?
Daily Dossier Tasks award 1000 intels. (4 hour task)
As for tips.. nothing I have noticed will increase or collect faster Unless you buy more premium characters. I have 20 that I can send to collect intel.
You get intel and schematics with the MIT and Drone.
So it seems that you just need to play every 4 hours and collect.
Visit your neighbors 👥every day and tap your MIT 🕵️ in between the 4 hour shifts…other than that…no secrets, just tappity tap🤗.
Also, this probably won’t help right now, but in the long haul – always buy characters before properties…you never know when they will be helpful in events. Having some of the premium folks used in this event has made things much easier to get intel.

Hi all! (Hi Mab ;)) What a great week for my family and I. We made some awesome progress on our spring cleaning, and I mean all of us…so glad the kids are finally old enough to actually be of help, although much more still to do! I can actually see almost all of my grass (it looks terrible, haha), and yesterday my son’s hockey team won their league championship game. A night out with the parents and kids to celebrate was well deserved and much enjoyed. Regular season and playoff champs! Our first Sunday with no hockey….slept in until 10 am!!!! Enjoyed my coffee, watched a movie, and now getting ready to take a family walk in the sunshine, and then hit up Costco for some groceries, and my youngest is making plans for a family night. So far we have board games on the schedule. I might even cut down the garland that’s still hanging on my front porch from Christmas, now that I can get to it, LOL.
As for TSTO. Finished up Act 1 a few days ago, with Bont and have got 2 rounds of bonuts so far. I purchase the Hank Scorpio/Volcano Lair deal and couldn’t be happier (annoyed for anyone who already had him, but I didn’t so it was a great deal for me). I also picked up the not a laser shark pool, and I could not be happier with my screamapillar who I have tapped a zillion times. My kids love him too (and the shark pool). I just have enough donuts now for the nerds, and trying to decide whether to risk getting the Globex compound or hang onto my sprinklies. So far, I think the compound may have to go, but I really wanted it for design purposes 🙁 Maybe it will come back at the end of the event. Crafting wise, I’m saving up for the EPA van. Oh yes…..and I suppose the arrival of Russ Cargill really means I won’t get the compound because I do want him. Decisions, decisions, but I have another day to make them, so in the meantime, just keep tapping, just keep tapping…. Happy Sunday everyone!!

Lately we are really into this new one called Dragonwood. It’s fairly simplistic, but good for my youngest who only recently turned eight. We also like Settlers of Catan, Carcasonne, and Dominion for more nerdy games, and we also like this card game called Exploding Kittens. Of course, the old standby’s like Monopoly are still popular too.
I’m always looking for new tabletop games, my friends and I try to do game night a few times a month. Sounds like we’re into similar games! I’m not familiar with Dragonwood or Carcasonne and I’ve heard about but haven’t played exploding kittens yet. I’ll check them out! My current favorite is one called We Have Goats, you should look into it. It’s a 4 player game and great for all age groups. I also love the card game Space Fluxx. It’s funny and themed after all the great nerdy sci-fi we love. Might be too much for your youngest because the rules are constantly changing and there’s lots of reading involved but you could team up and have fun with it. They also make Fluxx in other themes like Pirates and such, same game, just themed differently.
Awesome! I have never heard of We have Goats or Fluxx, but will definitely check them out. Really surprised you never tried Carcasonne. It was huge before Settlers kind of took over. There are a few others we’ve tried, but I’d have to get the names from my friend William who is usually the one that introduces us to new games. Rel Dragonwood – it’s very simplistic, and while all ages would enjoy it, I wouldn’t likely play it without a child to entertain. My personal favourites are a toss up between Settlers and Dominion.

I’ve debated farming for nerds but I only have $10,000,000 to spend on the XP collider. I want to start the collider at the end of this event so that I can farm postboxes with schematics at the same time and have Brandine’s 90 day task to farm.

If possible could that section ever get put in the form of a chart. Perhaps people looking to add friends could submit their user name and add it to a list. Either way tstoaddicts page has been and will continue to be awesome, not only the dedicated people who work to make it full of great information but the great community of people who like myself love to visit each day.
Just curious…how would a chart be better? (Sounds more like you’re describing a list than a chart, but, either way…) Unfortunately, this site is limited to what WordPress offers, and I don’t think it has the kind of functionality you described.

Went down to the coast again to visit family and friends – fun times! Have been feeling a little old this week when I realized that I’ve know these friends for 37 years! It was made even worse when my nephew in Perth turned 21 on Monday! (Happy birthday, Brad 😃). Guess aging does happen to all of us after all – who knew 😄😄😄
Took some pictures of the sunset on my drive back and when I got home and checked them, there was a little surprise in one of them… It’s true that you never know who is watching you! (Look closely at the sun to see what I mean…)
Busy watching the Hong Kong Sevens. Although it’s almost over I’m still a little behind due to time difference. Hoping that we (South Africa 🇿🇦) will win it as it’s the one Sevens tournament we have never won. We’ve been in good form on the Sevens tour (6 finals out of 6 with 4 wins) so we have a good chance of at least making the final if not winning it… 😄
Still enjoying the event but so far Destination SF still my favourite but there are still two acts to go so reserving judgement! And even with the adjustment to schematics I’m still finding it slow going but I’m sure I’ll get there. Good luck to all those trying to make it to Agent Bont – holding thumbs for you!

Hi, MAB! Sorry I didn’t say “hi” last week….I actually missed out on the whole open thread. (By the time I had time to look at it, it was Saturday, and I figured it wasn’t worth bothering, being only one day away from a new one.)
Nice picture…such a big sky! Growing up in the northeast U.S., I’m not used to that…living in NYC there were tall buildings all around and, even out here in the suburbs of Massachusetts, there are still a lot of buildings and, even in the less developed parts of the northeast, there are hills/mountains, tall trees, etc. I remember the first time I went to Texas and saw a sky that stretched to the horizon all around it really freaked me out….too vast and exposed.
Btw, at what point is it time to stop including Bunny in your moderator greeting list….I haven’t seen her here in a really long time. I think Alissa is being generous keeping her on the banner at this point. (If you’re reading this, Bunny, I mean no offense… I’d love to see you come back and be active here again!) But I guess this really isn’t any of my business….

I finally got a replacement phone. I had gotten so used to Bluestacks it was hard to readjust. Think I’ll stick with Bluestacks. Can’t play on such a small screen anymore.
My phone broke a few days before this event started so I had to use Blue stacks to play tapped out, I would even wake up in the middle of the night so I would not get behind on the event currency. But I was a able to get a new phone a few days ago.
I’m stuck playing this update on my phone because my ipad mini is old and slow. I can play fine anytime other than during there mega events. The small screen sucks!
Blue stack on my windows 10 64 bit pc is unstable and crashes often. What platform are you using?

I’m a bit confused as of right now. The popular advice for this event was to play every four hours right? I have done that for the whole act 1 and it now seems likely I won’t get the final prize. 🙁 and I always get a decent score at the drone mini-game too. 🙁 What did I do wrong?
My son is a freemium player. During the first Act, he was able to send Homer, Marge, Cletus, Apu, Moe, Krusty, and Skinner. He reset his characters faithfully every 4 hours. He completed the prize track yesterday. He has over 85,000 Intel. Do you have all of those characters to send? He also completed all of his daily challenges that offered intel and he visits 87 neighbors a day. He got his first three bonuts a little while ago. That is how he achieved all the prizes. How much short are you?
Same here, been playing regularly but will only just finish Act 1 in time. Usually manage 4 to 5 rounds of bonuts. EA had certainly tightened things up this time.

I found that business centers are very lucrative. Tough because it takes Pills and Oscars to upgrade, which take a long time to build up.
The 8 hr currency tasks are big! Unlock as many as you can, and don’t be afraid to spend that currency!
Took me this long, but it is do-able.

I’ve been KEM farming for a few weeks. I’ve been using Lisa on the eliminator since I got it except for monorail days. Have not yet received a miniature nuke. Does anyone know what the expected frequent is? Is it like the balloons and you get donuts once every few months? It looked like a way to get % without spending donuts.
I think it’s just pure luck. I received the bomb after just 4 attempts !!! However it could be a long wait for some.

I just got my first nuke
I think I remember seeing it was something like 10%…much higher than with the rocket. I’ve been launching that rocket once or twice a day for the…how long has it been? six months? a year?….and have never gotten the nuke, but I did get one once from The Eliminator already. Plus, the other stuff you get from that, with the exception of the barbed wire fences (which I’ll never have to pay for again at this rate), can be sold back for a decent amount of cash.

I saw it was expected this quarter, so hopefully by the end of June.
To my understanding, EA is not doing it, but rather TInyCo (Family Guy: Quest for Stuff) is developing the game. That has me a little concerned as I tried their Family Guy game (back when they had a Star Trek TNG event) and continued playing it until I got a bit frustrated with it and stopped. It just didn’t have the same ongoing appeal as TSTO. It’s been awhile now, so it’s hard to remember exactly what I found frustrating about it. The repetitiveness of the tasks and/or how premium content was handled. I don’t remember now. I will give the new Futurama game a try when it comes out.

By the way, I’m missing Anton Lubchenko in this event, I think it would’ve been a great add along the nerds, especially having the football pitchs released for the Superbowl.
