Happy Easter, everybody! Heading out to my parents house in a bit for Easter dinner. The menu is ham, roast beef, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, cheesy potatoes, green bean casserole, deviled eggs and I’m bringing the veggie tray and Easter eggs. Apparently my family really likes their potatoes! Both of my sisters-in-law will bring a sugar free dessert, I know, desserts should have sugar but it makes my dad really happy since he’s diabetic and can’t have.

Happy Easter to all those who celebrate it! I’ve been enjoying the long weekend and using it as recharge time! It is also the beginning of a weeks leave for me so busy planning what I want to make for the garden and what needs to be done since I will have the time…
Been cold (for us… 5°/15°C) and wet (light drizzle) but unfortunately not wet enough so drought issues are still around. I’m hoping we will get some heavier rain this evening – there are some threatening clouds around but I will only believe it when it happens!
This weekend it was the Singapore Sevens. Unfortunately the best we can finish is 5th place… 😞 but still proud of how well they have done this season. Now if only our 15 man team could follow their example!
Seem to be making progress with collecting schematics. It’s still slow going but I’m beginning to feel more confident that I will make it and will be able to craft a couple of the items that I like!

Finally got the Easter Island head after having too much other stuff to spend donuts on when it was offered before 😊
That statue of Maude is ridiculously huge. Bigger than the Easter Island head or Brazil Cristo statue, and maybe even a little bigger than Ba’al. If it could pass as a gravestone I might have bought it, but it’s too out of scale for me.
I already have pretty much everything else Easter at this point. 🤗
I have put the Maud statute in in the front yard of the Flanders house.
Well, to each their own, but it must absolutely dwarf that house.
That’s why I did it.

Saw a makeshift airport monorail staion using modern mansion pieces on the addicts flickr. Copied it with a change to the back. Subbed in the raised deck instead.
Then decided to add in thr north pole station to the kids area and created a Brazilian monorail station using the flat roofed painted homes and a Chinese monorail station using the 24hr created towers.
It would be nice for more actual stations to be added, or to be able to set the monorail to stop at ‘faux’ stations.
Either way, I have now used every single straigh piece at my disposal 😁

More rEAl monorail stations would be nice.
My monorail 🚝 takes exactly five minutes to come full circle. I even have two makeshift switches. I have 250 curves, half tracks and S-curves EAch. What to do with them ☹️
Similar or slightly higher number of ‘unusable’ track. Would happily pay a donut per track piece to have them bent into straight pieces to really stretch the tracks legs.
Also, weird you can place the track on heights beach, but have no way to connect it to the heights regular land section 🤷🏻♂️
Further to this, I have now further seperated stations from there attachments and made further ‘faux’ stations.
Short on straight track to join it all up now by about 50 long/100 short, or so. So a few more months before it all gets joined up again, unless we get a curved track straightening device.

Final post, added an R and D Globex one with 4 R and D blocks.
It’s not beautiful, but allows the monorail to visit more of Springfield with a ‘purpose’.

I do. I refer to the fact that ‘above the mountains’ you can place monorail on both beach and grass, but cannot connect the two areas. So you can spell stuff out on the beach in track, but have no monorail visiting it.
I see what you mean. The problem is caused by the cliff face between the beach and Springfield Heights. EA should give us another type of rail to overcome the height difference.
And now, a Monsarno monorail station is created 🤓

EA™ usually bring back the “pastel picket fence” at Easter, but they haven’t this year …….If you have any, remember it can be used in Krustyland too.

Sadly, they only placed stuff in the store, and none can be bought for cash, just donuts.

Contact EA to get your rebate. I noticed if you buy Knight Boat in the decorations tab there’s no rebate. If you buy Knight Boat in the Event tab the 20 doughnuts rebate is there.
Happy Easter all. Today must be my lucky day. Went to the store to get shary bobbins and hugs bunny. I guess the game glitched in my favor I got hugs bunny and didn’t get charged donuts also didn’t get the rebate for him but I can live without the rebate since I got the character for free.
Do they earn premium cash and xp, or just normal?
I don’t know yet I have them both working their quest lines atm. When I find out I’ll let you know.

Just unlocked the Ghost Enforcer….. wait? No tasks for him? a NPC? I know I recently got spoiled with all these characters that surprisingly HAD tasks… but man do I hate it when a character turns out to be an NPC. hope the other two supervillains aren’t also NPC’s.
I, too, was disappointed. And I can’t quite tell what his animation is. Still, free is free.
Well you did work a little bit for the free item. Anyhow he crushes a can and evaporates it with his eye laser beam. But it seems like they could have really gave him some silly tasks.
Yeah I was a bit let down that this is an NPC after 9 days of grinding for it. It was a freebie but I’m with you the G.H.O.S.T Enforcer could have been a playable character. I think one of the next villains will be earned in the same manner for ACT 3 and the other will be available for doughnuts. So far these characters have been reasonably priced in this event.
A free character for 18 actions, or 9x(2x(2x(2+2)))144? totally taps? That would have been nice.

This has probably been the easiest event in a long time. I completed act 1 with about 5 days to go, and this morning I unlocked the pawn shop, so am on my way to the final prize.
I have spent the most amount of doughnuts on this event, even beating the round the world event. I bought Hank, Tatum, university nerds, Russ Cargil, Femme Fatal, EPA hoverjet (wouldn’t usually get this item, but loved the Simpsons movie so had to get it!), basketball court.
Although I have got lots of the items from this event, I haven’t enjoyed it as much as the round the world event. The prizes on the prize track have been underwhelming (apart from the EPA van (I hear Marge shouting “Ahhh! EPA!” whenever I see it)).

I am enjoying a four-day weekend here in the U.K. I had my Easter chocs yesterday as it was my cheat day, and consumed way too much.

There are lots of buildings that can go on Squidport tiles that are not listed in the “Squidport” part of the store. There was a post from an Addict not too long ago that listed all the properties that were squid-friendly, but I did a search (and even searched all the site headers) and couldn’t find it…anybody else have the link to that page?
I am still working on a remake of my Squiddy World…here is part of my new Kid’s Corner (still have to finish the bumper cars and Big T Theater at the end) and the other end of the wharf now has the Abandoned Warehouse section (Sqiddly even made a guest appearance!).

Happy Easter everyone! I’ve been to church every day since Thursday, as is my custom in the run up to both Easter and Christmas. I got to take my Godson to messy church on Good Friday morning and he thoroughly enjoyed doing lots of crafts and planting his own Easter garden. I’ve got plenty of chocolate to eat and I’m curled up watching tv currently. Had a very busy couple of days and need a day to chill. Back to work on Tuesday though.
Got the Faberge Egg straight away. With the rebate it’s 1% bonus per 10 donuts. Such a shame it’s a unique item… I was going to get 10.
