Just a reminder that the Secret Agents Event Ends TOMORROW May 9th.
This means that you will want to make that final push to gather up all the things you want from the Event before it goes with the Event.
As far as what is going to happen AFTER the Event… well, we can’t know… until it is over. Lol. Until then all we can do is speculate. So, patience. We all have to verify what happens after together.
Now as far as to what is going with the Event, here is a brief rundown…
- Questlines linked directly to the progression of the Event will go. Like the Main Questlines that pulled you through all 3 Acts.
- However, the questlines linked directly the the prizes you’ve won will remain. (so Bont, Wayne Slater, Stradivarius Cain etc)
- The event removal will require an app store update to fully remove it from your game. So don’t panic when the timer runs down and the event isn’t out of your game… It will require an app store update to remove everything.
I know some of you still try to push that last few minutes of collection as far as you can. If you turn OFF the auto update feature in your App Market, you may give yourself an extra day or so… just know that ANY time after the 9th is borrowed time and you are doing so at YOUR OWN RISK. EA can force the update at anytime after the 9th and make you update. So use any extra time wisely and get what you need before you have to remove the Event completely.
Also, we’ve seen with a few recent events EA shuts off the ability to earn one item or another. So don’t bank on being able to get that extra time. Try to earn as many intel as you can until the event ends.
And don’t forget to craft! Use em (the Schematics) or lose em!
So tap those last few agents and relax and wait to see what EA has next in store for us.
Additional note:
Some of you are asking what you should craft with all of your extra crafting currency. There’s no magic item to craft. There’s no way of knowing what EA might make premium in the future, with a bonus %. Best advice I can give you is craft at least one of everything. If there’s something you think you could use in a particular design (like Manholes, Non-Weiner Walls and Flowers) craft a bunch of them and stick them in storage.
If you feel like you’ve crafted everything you want, then it’s ok to not use all of your crafting currency. Just because you have it doesn’t mean you need to spend it.

A few others asked me about which gives the most XP when placed in Springfield…it appears as if each item (you can craft multiples of) gives you 100xp when placed in Springfield. So there’s no item that gives you more of an advantage.
Also, the premium items returned last Friday they WILL BE LEAVING THE STORES TOMORROW FOR GOOD. (or until EA brings them back at some point in the future) So if you want something get it before it’s gone. Because these items WILL leave the store once the timer runs out. (with or without an app store update)

Event ended, and the prize track is closed now. You can still buy the prizes with donuts, but no chance to earn them with intel collection any more. The main quest line is still there, and you can still earn intel and schematics. Crafting is still possible, and the event section of the store is still open, too. I guess EA is not passing up a chance to separate you from your donuts. 😉
To be fair most of us finished a week or more ago… even without any premium characters it should’ve been a walk in the park
I have a lot of preimium characters so there was a lot for walking in the park this weekend 🏃
Just finished my last Bonut Round a few Minutes ago. Update isn’t in store yet so I’ll continue and see what happens.I’m at 120k Intel 380 Donuts now, so Barney would be an option. Do you guys think we’ll get a Barney discount in the next time ? Would be frustratringnif he shows up like Hank wirh a Costume and for a cheaper price
That’s the risk you take. I paid full price for Barney and don’t really regret it because I enjoy having him and the bowling alley in my town that much.

I ended up buying some donuts to help me get the Duffman offer with only 3 hours to go before it disappeared. It seemed like a really good deal that I would regret if I passed on it. I enjoyed this event and all the spy gadgets but agree with everyone that it was very repetitive.
I’m fortunate to have got Mastermind Hank Scorpio. I also am fortunate to have Gabbo and Arthur from the Casino event. I also have Drederick Tatum. Of course I had to buy him after I earned the Boxing Drederick Tatum skin during the Tap Ball event.
Actually, from a purely XP earning aspect, if all items earn the same 100 XP, then there’s a BIG advantage in buying the cheapest items possible.
That said, although I’m big on take advantage of ways to earn XP, I’d rather craft stuff I’m likely to actually use, like the non-weiner walls. You can never have too many different types of walls or fences! 🙂
I just wish EA would give new gates to go along with them.

So now that we are coming near the end, am I right in saying that the Tap minigame in actually only gives you 19 seconds instead of the shown 20? At first I thought it was a glitch, or I wasn’t tapping right, but nope, the game literally stops registering your taps at the :01 mark.
Not that it was a big deal, just thought it was pretty dumb none of the devs caught that.
Those devs use the “squeak system”. If many of use squeak about a glitch, it might be repaired.
I got all the prizes with act 3 being the easiest and act 1 the hardest. I have got 5 bonus donut rounds in this act (6 if the update is late or if I choose to hold of on updating), I hope I can still craft some items tomorrow after the timer has expired because I want a bunch more walls, bus shelters, spy-acinths, manhole stations, mailboxes and benches, a few ATMs, billboards and nothing to see here. There are also over a half dozen questlines that have been waiting during this event for me to complete. I hope there is enough downtime after tomorrow so that I can redesign areas of Springfield including the spy items. Overall it wasn’t a bad event that had some nice items to offer that can blend in anywhere in Springfield or in its own section (I hope to finish it to make the show off), there are fun characters available and complete their quests, another mini game that is fun to play that I would want to stay after the event (I hope it has a timer that allows it to play every 6 or 8 hours instead of 4).
I’m ready for this to be over. While it had a bunch of great prizes with incredible animations the game mechanics were not very interesting. Every 4 hours go in, clear the headquarters, send the same characters back in for another 4 hours (even the daily challenge folks were from the same pool). Tap some Men in Tan. Tap wildly in the mini game. I would’ve liked to see more characters used in different locations, in a more interesting and longer questline. I have a lot of premium characters, so I finished every Act early, and have just been collecting bonuts with Intel, while my other 100+ characters go on 24 hour tasks. I’ve crafted multiples of everything. I hope EA starts restructuring event gameplay soon, maybe adding a little challenge (like the Stonecutter riddles). This one got boring real fast.
Which item could become a bonus item? What do you think, guys?
In my opinion maybe the secret agent tree/bush or the wiener walls could become bonus items (coz of their shematic prices). The non-wiener walls are quite nice for future building but too cheap for becoming bonus…

I used the walls to surround the parachute target, with one opening in case the guy ever manages to crawl off the target in time… The men in tan seem drawn to it and I keep finding them inside the wall.

Slightly off-topic, but have there been any instances of limited-time event items coming back? I’m still sad at myself for missing the Hostess Miss Springfield because I was about 10 donuts short during the Casino event 🙁
Yes, all the time, this event included some.

Well, not “all the time”, but I think pretty much everything that’s been introduced has come back at some point, either in connection with another (and mildly related) event or through a limited time deal like Black Friday or such.
So, WHEN you’ll be able to get Hostess Miss Springfield is hard to say, but you’ll most likely have a chance one day (unless the world ends.)
Yes, items come and go. I would imagine we’ll see that costume again some day.
Finally. I don’t know why but this event just didn’t catch my attention like the rest.
Happy it’s over I finished 4 days ago and I got my Sha-Boom Ka-Boom restaurant too. Now question… I haven’t had any task for other characters since I hit level 70. I did everything and got the Homee mountain but I thought I would get more task. Can someone help or is it because of this secret agent theme going?
Once you get the mountain there are no more level questlines to complete. Just keep leveling up until you unlock the whole Simpson Family on the Mountain.
Tip i done for you to reach 936 level what i did is save up all money. Used XP muiltiplier for 5 dounuts and spend most cash on rat trap trucks within the 24 hour time ofcourse watch your level go up + you will get them 5 dounuts back and some more😉
I thought I have a lot of schematics but I think I ended up didn’t craft enough of the walls.
The walls have awesome potential, they make a great 3D effect because of the top design. I’ll probably buy some with donuts 🤣🤣🤣
I knew that would be an issue so I spent about 7 days crafting nothing except walls. Skipped 2 other prizes that I am trying to collect now but I finally have enough walls to start building my Springfield University 😆

This event has been dragging on for a long time now. I’m sad to see it go, but good riddance to the men in tan and all of their gadgets.
Does anyone else have TWO Castle Headquarters? I don’t know what happened, but I have two of them.
Did you craft another HQ? It’s a skin for the HQ, so if you have 2 HQs (one because it came with the event and the other because you crafted it) you’ll have TWO castle HQs

The auxiliary headquarters was an act prize, I think. Turns out all the facades you have for the original one are available to that also, you don’t have to display it as the default it came with. So I gave the original the lake form and the auxiliary the castle form. I think I only noticed it because I opened up the auxiliary to see if anyone had a task there and saw it had all those facades! Nice.
I think the two buildings can have the same facade at once but not sure.
Yes, they can have both facades. I currently have two castles. One earns $ and the other offers the event jobs.

I got the plastic surgery building 🙁 Yes, I was completely gutted as that was one I really didn’t want. It could’ve been worse and ended up with the Mapple Store which would’ve gone straight into storage. There were so many cool buildings and I got the lamest one
I ended up buying everything in the mystery box because I have wanted almost all of them for awhile. The bonus was good on the items with a bonus. 4% for 70 donuts is a pretty good buy. I wanted the alien and got him second to last, so it is hard to get the best prizes. However, I got the all-seeing eye first 😂
I was SOOOOO excited to see the premium items return to the store… and with the donut deal too!!! How awesome is that?!?!?!! Something for everyone! My son finally got Duffman/brewery, I got the Boxing Dedric/Coliseum and my husband got the Beer and Brawl/character, These were GREAT deals, to me anyway… we donuts back AND building and character combo too…. so excited they brought the deals back… been saving that ‘premium’ currency for such deals. P.S. Alissa, my mother in law and I LOVE our ‘TSTO Addicts’ t shirts!!! So VERY cool indeed!! 🙂

I missed about 10 days of part 3, but in a couple of hours I will finish the event. I will miss out on the auxiliary HQ building though by about 700 schematics.
So today my town is making me start all over. But it’s like it’s going through all the old quest lines. I’m not sure what’s going on.
Sometimes the game randomly logs you out. If you’re logged out the game thinks you’re a new player.

Farming KEMs will do that trick 🙂
With the xp accelerator on you’ll get a donut for about every 10 KEM(kwik-e-mart). You’ll need some in game cash and at least 5 donuts to start it. Somewhere on this site is a graphic to help with the numbers needed. Search this site for KEM farming and learn it. KEM farming is boring but the donuts you need can be earned. Another route to take is to splurge and get one of the donut offers for real cash- I only add this option because jeb and shelbyville manhatten are both awesome and you could do the whole two birds one stone thing.
How many donuts you get for how many KEMs depends on your conformometer bonus, so I try to get as many bonus generators as possible when I see one that I actually like. I have a whole fleet of those knight boats now since with the rebate they were a good deal. Also got four sets of the flag bundle in an earlier event, I think the 30 in each set added up to something like 7.5% bonus even though each flag’s bonus was tiny.
I have all the hidden XP bonus generators out crowding my Heights and a visible bonus of 273% now, and I get two donut games (choose one, two three donut box) almost every donut harvest from my little garden of 25 KEMs. The pickups from houses and completed tasks are crucial to that number also, since the KEMs by themselves really only generate enough XP to get a bit more than 1.5 donut box games. I chose that number of KEMs so I can keep generating enough cash to keep buying the three donut boxes when offered (including in the Where’s Maggie game) and events) when I guess wrong, since I can’t resist even though people say you’re better off putting the cash in more KEMs. If I’m close to getting something I want with donuts, that way I can also afford to buy and sell rat trap delivery trucks or bloodmobiles for a quick donut infusion.
That very much depends in your multiplier level. I have 2100% plus, so that’s more like every 5 KEMs.
I can assume yours is nearer 1000%
So if the OP is at 500% or so, that’s nearer 20 KEMs.
Will questlines linked to premium purchases stay or will they leave with the event?
They’ll stay. The only ones that will (or in theory) leave are the main questlines that carry you through the Acts.
Could we have another show off for people’s Secret Agent area? I have always found insulation in things that people come up with and since we are about to lose our “crafting cash” I though now would be appropriate.

I might casually try for a few more rounds of bonuts after the deadline, since I tend to get one or two tries each day. But I’ll sure be glad when the event has finally left the town.
After filling my main town with sunflowers, I am crafting non-weiner walls. Their rather pleasant, neutral color may come in handy for upcoming designs.
I got over 140k intels (over 14 bonuts rounds? xD) and all schematics projects done. That was good event 😀
