Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Well we’ve got ourselves a very little (and I mean very little) in-game update. A little dialogue will appear and it’ll be followed by 1 free items and several premium items in the store.
While it’s not a yard sale…it is a short 1 week update (ends May 30th) to get us (likely) to the next major event…
Here are the details….
When you first start up your game you’ll see a flash in Springfield (above), followed by the following dialgoue…
The Time Traveler’s Wife Pt. 2 (I have no idea what happened to part 1)
Homer: Hey look! There’s a new fat, bald loser in town. What’s your name, you obvious idiot?
Future Homer: I’m you, Homer, from the future! I come with a warning of utmost importance!
Homer: Alright, pal, keep my pants on. What’s the ruckus? And why the orange skin?
Future Homer: Never mind that. You will soon forget your anniversary, but it is imperative that you not travel back in time to fix it.
Homer: Why not just warn me to remember my anniversary?
Future Homer: Yeah, that makes way more sense! Man, I used to be SMART.
Homer: I’ll make an anniversary gift for Marge. That way, it’s free. All it costs is my time, which is completely worthless.
Build Homer’s Workbench- Free.
Homer: I will not rest until I’ve made the most amazing, heart-warming gift an anniversary has ever seen. Man, planning to make something is hard work. I think I’ll take a rest.
And that will be followed by the popup showing you new items in the store…
Here’s what’s available…
New item:
Heavenly Hills Mall- 60 Donuts. Comes with two additional wings…
West Wing 
East Wing
Returning (with rebates)
Mansion of Solid Gold- 250 Donuts, Rebate 125 Donuts, NET 125 Donuts
Statue of Burns- 50 Donuts, Rebate 30 Donuts, Net 20 Donuts (2.25% bonus, GREAT buy)
Krusty’s Mansion- 115 Donuts, Rebate 25 Donuts, Net 90 Donuts
One Week Wonder Films- 100 Donuts, Rebate 30 Donuts, Net 70 Donuts.
And that’s all there is to this little event update my friends…
Update Ends May 30th
There is another date in the files for May 29th, as an “Almost End” date. This could unlock another part of the questline (also shown in the files), so we’ll have to wait and see what happens Monday.
For now this is just a little sale…
And honestly, I think this is a prelude into our next event (which will likely hit May 30th or 31st). I do think we’ll see the Time Traveling Toaster for the next event (as evident by the Work Bench)…but again, we’ll have to wait and see.

I had been saving up doughnuts for something like this. I bought everything (I already had one week wonder films). Lot’s of Springfield Heights stuff. Hmmmm. I wonder if the next event has anything to do with Springfield Heights?
The Gold Burns statue comes with a questline as well. I’m very careful with my donuts but snapped this up instantly.
well its part 2 because part one hasnt happened yet…..part 3 was in 2015 and part 4 is the final end of all things tsto….

when the ends comes or has happened already we will knlw because our future selves will send us a message……if you havent got a message then your future face didnt download the timeface app in time.

I’m guessing that part 1 will be in the other part of the quest line we see on 5/29.
My update of mini game stopped after I placed Homers workshop. Nothing else is happening. Also my game still shows yellow tasks for the kids from bowling game. I’ve been to Krustyland & back. Uninstalled & again went to Krustyland. Still nothing. Please help. Thank you in advance.
If you see the post above it says, that’s it. It stops at that point.
As far as the yellow tasks, it’s a bug. Contact EA, and you’ll have to wait on a patch to correct it.

Place the bench and that’s it? Anticlimactic. However I see crafting potential somewhere down the line.

I’m not getting the update. Does Homer need to be free to start the dialogue? For the last few weeks I get the white flash when completing tasks near The Simpsons House. I have most of my town on 8hrs tasks.

Hey Alisssa. I tried to reset my phone and returned to my game. The mini event triggered. I read an older reply in this comment section from you that really did the trick. The Gold Mr.Burns statue is a great deal. It’s going to help with my daily KEM farming. Thanks for the awesome list of the buildings associated with the new mini event. Do you have the Yakuza crime boss? His 8-hr task at the Simpsons house always ends with a flash. It’s a joke since we never see what he does in a fight.
The white flash you’ve been getting is the completion of an 8hr task by the Yakuza boss.
The white flash happens when you tap the Yakuza Soldier after completing his 8 hour task.
So Time Traveling Toaster is possible part of future event?? Please oh please oh please let it rain donuts 🍩 (like an actual weather effect!) in Springfield… Please please please please please please please please! 😁
On donut day it did rain donuts and i believe those who purchased the boatload of donuts decoration can make it rain donuts by tapping on it.
You are correct…anytime I tap the pink donut boat, it rains donuts in my town….😀

Heavenly Hills Mall appears to pay $200/22XP per 8 hours. No visible change to bonus %. The wings do nothing that I can see.

I also see a “Polo Field House” in the Forgotten Anniversary store category for 200 donuts (no rebate listed).
Yep, it’s there for me also. I am hesitant because of no rebate, even though it’s a building I’d like to have. Maybe EA will adjust this. Also, when you buy Krusty’s Mansion, when it tells you the rebate, it only says like 25or 30, but according to my donuts, it did give me the full rebate 😊

Yes… it did give me the full donut rebate. I started checking my before/after donut counts a long time ago when I make a donut purchase 😊

I got the Polo field house with 3 million added to my SH, which makes me at 1.62 billion and still number 4 in my friends ranking. I like the look of it and can’t wait to see who has a job there and if it has animation. Wise guy will try to get in there when he is free.

If the next major event is a time traveling one, I wonder if it’ll start with Part 3, then Part 2, then end with Part 1

I didn’t get this in-game update…any idea why?
Try hard closing and restarting. I was in Krustyland and went back to my Springfield and I got it to popup. Nothing really downloads in the game, or it’s so small that it’s super quick.
Yeah – I think it was a timing thing….I’m guessing I wasin the game when the timer went off (so to speak) and hadn’t done anything to resync. When I came back home this afternoon and opened the game again, there it was! 🙂

Since time travel is involved, Part 1 will probably happen later. I guess we’re only seeing the second part of the story so far since we don’t know why Homer is orange or why it is imperative he not travel through time to fix his mistake. I figure it’ll probably get even more convoluted before we’re done.
Part 1 will be in the future when you send Homer back in time. That’s my prediction
Burns Statue is on sale! And it’s got a 2.25% bonus. Nice.
I also got the option to buy the gold Mr. Burns statue for 50 donuts with 30 donuts back and 2.25% mult. 🙂
It’s likely that part 1 will happen later, as it’s a time traveler story line… more to follow on that. 😁
Maybe Part 1 is when orange Homer decides to send himself back in time… 😀
