Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Well we’ve got ourselves a very little (and I mean very little) in-game update. A little dialogue will appear and it’ll be followed by 1 free items and several premium items in the store.
While it’s not a yard sale…it is a short 1 week update (ends May 30th) to get us (likely) to the next major event…
Here are the details….
When you first start up your game you’ll see a flash in Springfield (above), followed by the following dialgoue…
The Time Traveler’s Wife Pt. 2 (I have no idea what happened to part 1)
Homer: Hey look! There’s a new fat, bald loser in town. What’s your name, you obvious idiot?
Future Homer: I’m you, Homer, from the future! I come with a warning of utmost importance!
Homer: Alright, pal, keep my pants on. What’s the ruckus? And why the orange skin?
Future Homer: Never mind that. You will soon forget your anniversary, but it is imperative that you not travel back in time to fix it.
Homer: Why not just warn me to remember my anniversary?
Future Homer: Yeah, that makes way more sense! Man, I used to be SMART.
Homer: I’ll make an anniversary gift for Marge. That way, it’s free. All it costs is my time, which is completely worthless.
Build Homer’s Workbench- Free.
Homer: I will not rest until I’ve made the most amazing, heart-warming gift an anniversary has ever seen. Man, planning to make something is hard work. I think I’ll take a rest.
And that will be followed by the popup showing you new items in the store…
Here’s what’s available…

West Wing

Returning (with rebates)
Mansion of Solid Gold- 250 Donuts, Rebate 125 Donuts, NET 125 Donuts
Statue of Burns- 50 Donuts, Rebate 30 Donuts, Net 20 Donuts (2.25% bonus, GREAT buy)
Krusty’s Mansion- 115 Donuts, Rebate 25 Donuts, Net 90 Donuts
One Week Wonder Films- 100 Donuts, Rebate 30 Donuts, Net 70 Donuts.
And that’s all there is to this little event update my friends…
Update Ends May 30th
There is another date in the files for May 29th, as an “Almost End” date. This could unlock another part of the questline (also shown in the files), so we’ll have to wait and see what happens Monday.
For now this is just a little sale…
And honestly, I think this is a prelude into our next event (which will likely hit May 30th or 31st). I do think we’ll see the Time Traveling Toaster for the next event (as evident by the Work Bench)…but again, we’ll have to wait and see.

Us long time Tappers already have a Mall / Shopping Center, so there’s no reason for me to waste Donuts on another – especially a Building that doesn’t come with a Character / Character Tasks …
Buildings with rebates are good for the Noobs (I am waiting to see what happens with Future Homer, ’cause right now? It feels like EA doesn’t care about long time Tappers) 🤔
So what does the mall do? It costst 60 donuts for nothing?
I misread it. I thought it said Mill, not Mall. I don’t know why I wanted a mill, but I have a vague sense of disappointment now.
Considering this is a time travelling event I would bet part 1 will be sending homer back to the past to tell his past self not to travel back to the past to fix not remembering to get Marge an anniversary gift.
I accidentally deleted the tsto app from my phone (iPhone 5s) and now I can’t find it to re-download in the App store. When I clicked the link to the App Store in one of the articles here I get taken to the App Store but get the message that it’s only available in the US…
And have the old west characters changed?
I just have to say I did a Time Travelling Toaster entry for my Mini Event for the competition on site. It probably was a bit too incoherent to win, but hey. A full event is better than the prize anyway

Happy for a challenge starting soon. As long as it does not encroach on my July holiday. I will be happy to tappa tappa away in June! EA please keep July free!
They always have a july 4 event. Might not be an event but they’ll have stuff in the store for sure. There will probably be a mini event too. There are 4 big events before Halloween and Christmas. The 3rd one is about to start and that will probably last till the end of june or early july. After which there will probably be a mini event until close to august. In August will start the 4th major event and that will last us until somewhere in September and then we’ll get a couple mini events before the Halloween event starts.
I’m interested to see what comes next! I’ll be honest and say that my playing has slowed down considerably, and if there isn’t an event going on, I more often than not don’t even log into the game. Part of it is I think because my town is so large now, with so much stuff in it, that not only am I running out of space, but it’s harder than it is fun attempting to reorganize. I just wish there was a way to see my whole town at once so I could better visualize what I have and where I have it.
I like to think of my towns in sections. That keeps it fun for me!
When the next event hits I’m thinking there’s going to be something involving Springfield Heights. Some of the returning items boost SH Real Estate value. I’d be happy if EA opened up that large space behind the Mountains in Springfield Heights for us to purchase land expansions.
If they do that they’ll have to add more prizes to be won for real estate points since most of us long term players already earned the 1 billion. There will be no sense in earning more real estate if there aren’t more prizes to win.
Definitely I’ve found it tough to get pat the 1.3 billion mark myself. One of my neighbors has hit the 2 billion mark. It would be nice to make use of the Springfield Heights.

Good timing for the Burns statue. It can replace the spot I had the Angel Statue in so I can pair that up with the Heavenly Hills mall
I’m going to guess that the heavenly hills mall is the “outlet mall” that was teased in the app store description a long while ago and the “temporal trip” is most likely the next event that this update is leading to.
Oh good, I thought I was missing something. Built the bench… and that was it!

I think the reason we did not do because we are going to do it next week when we send Homer to the past.

Can anyone verify contents of Heavenly Hills Mall? The popup image and item images are different and I’m wondering which is the one you get in-game. Specifically, the West Wing is a completely different building in the two images on this post.

Since it’s Time Travel, perhaps Part 1 will come after Part 2, perhaps on Monday, signalling the true start of the next event on Tuesday, with Part 3, or maybe a new Part 2, changing the timeline. Ironically, Family Guy Quest For Stuff is doing Time Travel too now; its rare that these two similar and competing games do the same event topic.

Yaaaassssssss! I was just thinking about that; didn’t we have dueling superheros last year with FG:TQFS, and I think we also had sci-fi events together?
It’s happened a few times. We also had Stonecutters when they had their mysterious pyramid event as well…very similar items.
Just bought a bunch of new land in anticipation of the next big event. I did a lot of rearranging too. I’m trying to keep my Springfield organized.

Hey. The other day I asked your community if anyone has a bug where certain characters no longer have an 8 hour task. Guess no one else has this problem? Figured out it was only affecting the guys/gals who have the drink at Moses task, so I stored n unstored it but didn’t fix the issue…

This happened to me when I was doing the Ruth quest 7 …when I placed the mafia car the tasks came back …I have read people in the past had the same issue with #7 too …but they all suggested storing the Buddhist temple or going to krustyland…or to contact ea
