How can I earn airport runway pieces now? Is this possible? Or buy them if necessary….
There is currently no way to get more runway pieces.
I don’t think you can right now, unfortunately.
On the Chiliad “turtle tapping” game, I used to regularly get about 70 or so turtles. About two months ago, something in the game changed where I now get only about half that number. Did this happen to anyone else? Why would EA make a change on a small side game after it has been around for so long?
Yes, what used to happen was that you could tap on one tortoise multiple times and be awarded for 4. A few months EA fixed this glitch, so now your score truly reflects how many tortoise you tapped.
But now it feels like you have to tap multiple times on one tortoise before it disappears. They are really hanging in there.
If your playing on a tablet, especially a larger one, try tapping for turtles as if you’re plaguing the bongos, rather than tapping with the tips of your fingers. I find that method MUCH more effective for all three of the mini-games that invoke tapping as many x as you can within y amount of time.
Re: bonuts after Nick Delacourt. I wonder if it incentive to spend the donuts on Star Management. Either a “glitch” to rush people to spend the donuts. Or an reward to spend to on Star Management.
I thought it might be to make up for not giving any donuts for neighbor visits in this event…no matter how many fans you tap, no sprinklies to be found. I used to earn at least 2 per day (sometimes up to 4) from visiting all my neighbors…now, nada☹️.
Well, I earned two on the very first day, and one a few days later. I only tap about 10 neighbours for the event, so it feels like par for the course
Is it possible to get premium characters somehow that aren’t in the Vault? I haven’t seen some characters, like Marge’s mom, for awhile.
They should be available in your shop. Look for Piggly’s Super Smorg.
Mrs. Bouvier is a limited time character. She’s been offered the least 3 years during Thanksgiving. Probably will be again this year but you never know for sure with EA.
Loving this event and have my rock stage, Springfield bowl and opera all set up together and all characters playing on them that I can, I would like to see more building like the Springfield bowl with a list of characters that relate to that building available to do tasks.
Woulding it be good if we could move characters like we can move buildings that way I could have all the instrument players and dancer’s in the same place.
Finally caught up with the calendar daily totals with tapping 5 times a day and with the help of the daily challenge’s, think I will sleep 8 hours tonight unless my bodyclock wakes me up at 1am in the morning.
Thinking of kem farming with 10 days the x5 xp multiplier, at a cost of 25 donuts, but need to do the maths first, any suggestions welcome, looking to buy BGM and sungazer duo.

Pick a 10 day period when you are not swamped with personal life events. Spend 25 donuts to activate the XP collider for 10 days. Start with just 24 KEM. Every 4 hours, build 24 KEM, collect the XP from completing their builds, sell all 24 KEM, and repeat. See how your in-game cash income is going. If your income is rising, increase the # of KEM. If your income is going down, decrease the # of KEM. Farm enough KEM that your income stays more or less steady.
if you below level 939, you can level up at 500K xp. Buying just 12 KEM (under 7K) will produce a couple of donuts per day. With the rest of your items, it will be worth 25 donuts for 10 days. So go ahead, spend the donuts and keep the collider on. Of course the more KEMs you farm, the faster you will get donuts.
Went a little more than 24, I had 66 million in the bank and up 50 donuts in 2 days, sitting on 65million, will go down to 55 million before I stop and go back to 24 KEM, long way to go at level 269

Has anyone found that you are unable to extend out the roads to the furthest right when you have unlocked all the new land? It still doesn’t seem to allow me to extend the roads out over there.
This is a known glitch since the most recent Event update hit. Should be fixed when EA issues a patch.
I just bought the same section of land to make a large dirt area for the entire event, only to remember that this glitch has not been patched yet…
Also, I just want to say that if EA wanted to find the perfect way to take the fun out of neighbor visits, they found it!
Yes both my husband & i on our games.contacted ea.was told to delete game then re-install.still the same problem
So I noticed something different with this event. I got Nick Delacort yesterday, and completed his short quest line this morning. I got the congratulations quote and was pleasantly surprised to see that I’m already in the bonut round now. The weird thing is that I still have two more prizes to earn for act 1. Usually we don’t go into the bonut round until we collect the last prize. Am I missing something here? Anyway- i have a task now that says: collect more cuffs. More rock. I don’t know what to make of this. Am I going to get another bonut opportunity when I collect the last prize too? Thoughts?
Someone mentioned this earlier. Interesting. So I have to unlock Nick and do his quest right away.

If it is a glitch, know that it will disappear 5 minutes before Nick finishes his set in your game…😜
With my luck and history of missing out on all the good glitches over the past 4 years, that is 99% likely to happen.
Well I have Nick and sent him on a set and it did not disappear. Also if I click on the speaker icon it takes you to where your fans are.

Yep, bonuts started at the of the questline for me too, instead of at the end of the prize track like normal.
Alright everyone, enough chit chat…. We don’t want EA to fix this one……
I’ll add to the knowledge base in a few hours as I’m completing the Apu / Homer portion of “Rock and Roll Never Forgets, Unfortunately Pt. 8 (which appeared after the Pig Balloon, while there were still two more prizes to get through before even getting a chance at Nick…). Then I’ll move onto Nick’s individual quests….
If you haven’t finished the Apu/Homer quest yet, DON’T! I must have finished it without thinking about it and, now that I I have two more jammers than I have slots, I was looking forward to sending the two of them on their joint 4-hour task to earn cuffs again and again, but it’s gone. 🙁
What a waste of potential cuff earning!
Quite enjoying the music theme at the moment but I do have a grumble regarding EA not using the characters available,
every event is the same homer and Lisa start things off then the same characters are used to generate the event currency.
Bart has a skin in this event but nothing else, Maggie is never used and what Marge has done to the powers that be I don’t know. She is basically ignored in this game even thought she is one of the most important characters in the show.
Secondly what’s with the lack of female characters, only one female being used in the event (lisa always Lisa) and one new female character, about 9 new male characters

While I agree with you on several points, there are a couple things I’d like to say from EA’s perspective:
1) every event is the same homer and Lisa start things off
I’m sure this is intentional, because as soon as you start the game, you have Homer and Lisa. If they started with Ralph Wiggum or Smithers, than anyone who just started playing in the past couple months and is not yet at level 25 (in this example) would not be able to participate.
2) the same characters are used to generate the event currency
Same answer. EA is just trying to be inclusive for it’s new players. It’s frustrating for us level 939 players that it’s always the same lower level characters. But can you imagine how frustrating it would be if you’ve been playing for 3 months and are at level 50, but can’t play this event because Lunch Lady is needed to start it up. EA does usually include a couple premium characters or high level characters to keep us happy.
3) Bart has a skin in this event but nothing else, Maggie is never used and what Marge has done to the powers that be I don’t know
Bart has a skin, so I’m not sure what else they can do to make him playable in this event. Maggie’s future alter ego, Rock Star Maggie is already used. Who knows, EA may listen to you and use Maggie in Acts 2 and/or 3. Marge probably just made that annoyed noise she makes.
4) Lack of female characters
Totally agree. The ration of men to women is completely off. However, it’s not accurate to say only one female is used. There’s Lisa, Rock Star Maggie, character collections show Alaska Nebraska and Rachel Jordan will be introduced. I wouldn’t be surprised if at least one more female character gets a skin or is used in future Acts of this event. But yeah, 20 guys for 4 girls is not really a great ratio.
I think the reason that events almost airways start with Homer and/or Lisa is that even the most brand new players have them. It takes a few levels before you get Bart and Marge, so, if they were required, some folks wouldn’t be able to play the event at all. They do use other characters (including Bart and Marge) for stuff during events, but not to kick them off.
Wow! I just got home after the spectacular Wacken Open Air metal festival and found … a rock stage 😀 Being thus 5 days behind (no sufficient internet on festival ground) I bought instantly some donuts and bought the premiums – vault this week being meh.

I mentioned this the other day. Was thinking it’s to bad lawyer’s cant be attracted to something. Similar to the way fans are attracted to Weird Al. Maybe a character slips and falls, happy hour at Moe’s. Or just somebody having a good day… Would gather a bunch together lol.
You’d think they would cluster around Ned’s car crashing into the fire hydrant…but no such luck.
I am a newer player and I am wondering what do you do with all of the debris on the land ? Do you store it? Is there a limit on storing things?
There is no limit on storing debris. The initial debris you have, you can send Homer and Lisa on a 6 second task to clean it up. The benefit of this is that the initial debris will randomly sporadically award you with donuts. If you want to have some debris in your town as decoration, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase premium items that award debris (such as from the Space Shuttle).
You can also collect it for a while (all on to one land tile), then send Lisa or Homer to do “binge cleaning” all at once. A little faster than sending them all over the place to where the trash is.
She people also use the debris for creating 2D art….Bunny used to be great at that.
This event appears to be going very well for me compared to the last one as I’m on schedule to complete all the prizes of week one, which is good. Other than that all I can say is I’m glad BGM finally is in the game and that alcatraaz will be popping in the game.
On a separate note I really like the new crowds and spotlights added with the crafting, it’s much better than those dumb rowboats and barely noticeable foliage from TTT in my opinion.

I might be a little late asking, but where did you guys put your Springfield museum? How did you decorate it? It’s one of the only things I’m having trouble placing in my Springfield!
It’s in my SH area…I reuse SH for all my events and then move whatever I like from the event into Springfield when it’s over. For now, both museums are still there.

Actually, the only events like this I ever went to ended up with mud…even dirt was a step up (literally) 😂.

Btw.: did anybody notice that you can use the rock camp entrance as a bridge? It goes over water, roads etc.
I have all my museums in a square in my town. I love this museum it fit fight in with the others.’
I like the events like this, where you can drop lawyers or whatever into certain neighbors’ towns. I was keeping track the last two weeks of who visits even when events aren’t going on. Now I can reward those neighbors first and more often (providing they’re not already full)
Just a suggestion for those having trouble finding lawyers in your towns. Lawyers only seem to walk on main roads. Years ago I changed much of my main roads to concrete paths to limit the areas where my townsfolk walk. It looks just as nice AND it makes it SO MUCH easier during events like this to find the guys to tap.
They congregate on main roads, but you can find them elsewhere.
True, but then all my regulars cluster into that same small area…I like to see them wandering all over town. But that’s just me, I have some neighbors with very few actual roads, so they must like it that way.
Just a suggestion for EA…it would have been nice to tap on the Court House (or Town Hall) and have a message included in the choices that would tell us how many lawyers were in our town…can’t be that difficult.
I have a good stretch of main road . The beauty is you can make it fit so it works for you. I’ve seen neighbors with just a small square of road with all characters bunched together- that is not what I’m doing. Just roads in my main section of Springfield- around Simpson, Flanders, Milhouse homes and several others and the some by water to show the bridge – comfortable. I’ve had zero problems finding lawyers. They ONLY walk around on road. This method has helped me with events for years. Take it or leave it. You can lead a Horse to water…
I also want to add that Homer and Lisa STILL clear debris in my town earned by the Space Shuttle (response to another comment). I get an occasional donut for my efforts.
I’m aware that you can still send Homer and Lisa to clear the debris awarded from the space shuttle. But I wasn’t aware of anyone getting donuts for clearing this new debris. You still get sporadic donuts from clearing this new debris? Anyone else also get donuts from clearing this new debris?
Yep…very random …sometimes takes longer than other times but I’ve gotten donuts for clearing debris in recent weeks.
I seem to get doughnuts for space shuttle debris just as often as from land debris. I’d rather win debris than another sign any day.

I my town, I’ve definitive found lawyers on grass and concrete, too. The only place I haven’t seen one (yet) was on the boardwalk (or Springfield Heights boardwalk equivalent).
i’ve found lawyers on concrete, dirt, grass, and cobblestone… they are definitely not limited to roads.
Not me…do you have main roads? Even when I drop in neighbors towns they only drop on roads? Wow! If that’s the case no wonder people are frustrated. Maybe wait until you’ve played several minutes before hunting lawyers. My guess is they will walk towards the roads.
I have found lawyers in wide open fields, on water, in the forested areas, and on concrete. The only place they seem to avoid in my towns are cobblestones.
I even tried removing roads. No luck. I have wily lawyers.

That first pick is what I refer to as MAIN style road and a lawyer is on it … is that the ONLY main road you have in your town? Maybe you don’t have ENOUGH main road to hold your lawyers. It’s hard to prove a negative but I’ve never had lawyers ANYWHERE but my main road…not even for a second.
he’s walking on the cobblestone sidewalk, and before i took the screenshot, he was standing there on the cobblestone street… just wanted to point out that they can indeed be found on cobblestone. i have tons of roads in my town, and never remove any of them, for the sake of an event or otherwise. trust me bro, the lawyers can be found anywhere and everywhere, and by no means am i the only one experiencing it.

I have found my lawyers in similar spots within my town. Usually the extreme left then right and a few in my main center. I clear the concert goers until I get the no more bar at the top. I tap any lawyers if I see them and then head to krustyland to sync and look around again for lawyers. It’s a PITA but I went from being at least a day & 1/2 behind to being a day ahead. Most of the time, with most of the lawyers, you are right, they are on main roads. But they are the odd exceptions, I found them occasionally on other kinds of road or pavement, and I have a stretch of unused land in Springfield Heights, nothing but grass, but I find one there regularly.
Never found one on the boardwalk so far, but I won’t stop looking…

Does the Clamphitheater go on the ornate pier? I’d like to be able to put it on the water and I think it might look nice in Springfield Heights. ( I went crazy last night and bought out the three remaining things for my mystery box.)
My Kindle updated the game just fine but I noticed that the icon for the game hasn’t changed like it did on my iPad and on my android phone. Has anyone else with a Kindle notice that the icon stayed the same as the normal TSTO icon instead of the event icon?
So about the lawyer drops…I’ve been using a technique that I thought I’d share. ( I posted this in a comment in another post somewhere, but I thought I would restate it here so more people could see it.) In past events, I would track who I sent event tappables to and who sent event tappables to me and try to repay people as best I could and things like that, but I don’t have the time and energy this time around to manage that (other than occasionally dropping off a lawyer to someone who just dropped a bunch to me). This time around, I’m doing something that helps me make sure that I drop off at least a one or two lawyers to each of my neighbors, track how many lawyers are dropped off (and know which ones I couldn’t help because their towns were already full), and make it easier to get my 30 fan taps in. Basically, what I do is for each lawyer I drop off, I tap a fan in that town. So by looking at how many of the three taps I have left in a given town, I can see how many lawyers I dropped off there, since it’s the inverse. It also means I’m not wasting time trying to find the third, hard-to-find fan in somebody’s town. It also allows me to make better progress through the alphabet, ensuring that neighbors in the middle or end of the list don’t get overlooked.

Hi Sandra, my Kindle still has the normal splash screen despite it being updated to the new event.
Well, that’s different, too! My splash screen updated just fine on my Kindle, it’s just the icon that’s unchanged.
I so far tried the reciprocating thing, but of course there is always the 4h limit – you might miss lawyers dropped off by friends, or they might miss yours, especially when most of your neighbours live in a different time zone. No way of knowing if they came and went during the night, and the neighbour might be p–d off for not getting anything back. Still, with not enough lawyers to go around, I will stick with my method for now, and try to spread anything surplus evenly.
I suppose I will just talk a little about my TSTO week I guess.
So for the second time I broke Freemium boundaries to get BGM (He’s really cool) and with the left over cash I bought some Golden Scratchers where I gained around 80 Donuts from 4 of them so I was happy with that.
I am also on schedule with the event timetable (Thanks for giving me hope Addicts, especially you Alissa, you stopped me panicking). Currently I am actually over the boundaries as its Sunday and I am over 21,000. So that’s nice.
Also just to say a little ‘Thank You’ to all my neighbours who are helping me out (JoeJoeBinks9, I hope its okay to put that as my name here is different to IG Name, if not thats fine). I’m trying to help you out by leaving you lawyers too.

I am not that young, but still don’t get it…
The “Yellow Pages” was (is still?) the local phonebook one looked in to find business listings in your local market/town/city in the U.S.
The “White Pages” phonebook were primarily for local residential listings…businesses might have their phone numbers listed in there, but all listings were just alphabetically by name, so it was only useful for looking up the phone numbers of someone, or someplace, for whom/which you already knew the name. The Yellow Pages phone directory was arranged alphabetically by type of business and businesses could buy different sized ads in it, to hero them stand out more (or less), depending on how much they could afford to pay for their listing. Thus, you could look under “lawyers,” in the Yellow Pages to find listings for various local lawyers. There was a popular ad a long time ago with the catchphrase “Let your fingers do the waking in the Yellow Pages” (presumably instead of you having to walk up and down the streets to find a business to suit your needs).
With the advent of the internet becoming the chief source of information, plus the break up of the phone company monopoly that used to exist, those phone directories have all but ceased to exist. It’s a pity, because, if you lived in a big city, the phone book made a great booster seat for your kid (or, in my case, I have an old phonebook wrapped in a dish towel fastened with safety pins that I stand on to work more comfortably at the kitchen counter, sink, and stove, because I’m very short).
OK, thanks for the exhaustive explanation. Phone Books are a thing of the past, but the online directories that exist now have still the same name over here. Even if I don’t have a “Yellow Pages” phone book, I still have a “Yellow Pages” online directory. It is still called “Telefonbuch”, even if it is not a “Buch” (=book) anymore. I always assumed that would be same all over…

Is there any way to tell how much time I have left on my XP multiplier? (I should have written down what time I bought it :p)
If you click on the XP Collider, it will show how much time is left before it runs out. You can purchase more time while it’s on. I often spend 100 donuts to top up my XP Collider for 40 days every 5 to 6 weeks.
I have a calendar function on my iPad (as do all iPads) and I set it to remind me every 10 days (you can choose every __ days as an option). I started it the day before my collider expired, so it now reminds me to recharge every 10 days, just before it expires. I don’t ever have to check it again. Actually, I think I might change it to 30 days pretty soon and add 3 recharges at a time. Good tip, Safi, thanks.
Just leaving a message for the lawyers skulking around my town…you may feel safe hiding behind buildings and blending into crowds with those innocuous grey suits…but be warned. I have a particular set of skills…I will find you, and I will tap you…😠.

How do I get Rock Star Maggie? I tap it on Jam Select and it goes to mystery box but there doesn’t show any “Maggie Rock Star” and. tapping it gives me an UNWANTED item. That leads me to ask How do I get more characters to jam?
If you don’t already have Rock Star Maggie from the Future event, she should be one of the prize options in the Mystery Box. Scroll across all the prizes in the Mystery Box to confirm if she is there.
In the Mystery Box, you will see Rockstar Maggie (RSM) with the Springfield Hyperstadium. In this event, only chance via the Mystery Box will get you RSM….
Ah ha! Thank you — I couldn’t figure out why RSM wasn’t in my mystery box. Turns out I didn’t know it’s actually the Hyperstadium. Dang, now I have to take a chance with some sprinkles …

I noticed a new “quest” More Rock whose icon urges me to collect 5000 badges.
Anyone know what PRIZE I will receive when I reach 5000?
Currently at 2700, so I’ll know relatively soon. Still, I’m impatient. I want to know NOW!

I got my first set of 5,000 “More Cuffs” this morning. Shockingly, even though I haven’t unlocked the last two prizes yet, “More Cuffs” is indeed bonuts and it immediately rolls over into another round of bonuts at 5,000 more cuffs! Could this be a glitch? It seems crazy to think I could be on my fourth round of bonuts by the time I get the last prize, but I’m not complaining!
Yeah, definitely don’t complain. That sounds like a sweet, sweet, sugar-raising, diabetes-inducing, sprinkles all over the place, donut glitch. Enjoy it!

So anther quiet weekend watching cricket 😞 and a little rugby in the side 😟 The cricket isn’t over yet, England, even though it’s not looking promising for us!!! Still, hope springs eternal 😄 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦 Will have to find something to watch next weekend as the cricket will be over and there will be a break from rugby. Thankfully Addicts Live! will fill some of the time 👌😄😄😄
So we had our best rain in ages on Friday/Saturday! A whole 14mm (just over half an inch?) 😄 but I’ll take what ever comes our way right now. Those of you beginning to feel a little waterlogged feel free to send it down south 🌧🌧🌧🙏
Enjoying the event – but then again, I’m easy to please ☺️ However,…. Lawyers! 😁 (I always knew there was a reason I changed degrees all those years ago!) I spend so much time aimlessly scrolling around my town ‘just-in-case’. And usually as I’m about to give up I find one and it starts all over again!!!
I also need to apologise to my neighbours if you have dropped off lawyers and I haven’t returned the favour… I initially started out trying repay those who dropped off but unless I write it down I become confused as to whether this is someone who is repaying me or do I need to repay them and who owes what to whom so I said to myself: myself, just give everyone a couple. So now I am working my way though the alphabet (backwards) giving everybody at least 2. I am currently heading for the e’s so if you are earlier in the alphabet, I’m on my way!!! Once I’ve managed to give to everyone I’m thinking I might start giving to those who might be running behind the calendar. Time will tell! I’m a day ahead of the calendar (got Nick D today) so don’t worry if you don’t send any my way. 👍
Now, it’s time for my bath…

Still way too hot over here, but with the occasional thunderstorm. No lack of rain, but it always gives the air a sauna-like quality. Oh, the humidity!!
Otherwise hasn’t been a good weekend for me, I was still recovering from a stomach flu. Mostly lying in bed, with a little light tapping. Nothing on the telly I felt like watching, definitely no cricket over here. Not that I would watch if I had the chance. Never quite got that sport. A lot of lounging about, occasionally some people run up and down a straight line, or throw a ball about. But I guess the same could be said about baseball, only they run in a circle and spit a lot…

Had a decent week at softball this past Monday. We only had 8 people, so got to bat quite a bit. Hit another triple, drew my first walk, and stole my first base of the season. Made a few nice plays at first base. Considering we only had 8 players (2 guys covering the entire outfield), we did quite well and were leading the whole way until the last inning when they scored 5 to win 13 to 10. We now have 1 win, 11 losses, and 1 rain out. Though I’m doing quite well on an individual level.
TSTO comment:
Really enjoying this event! A lot of characters/buildings from the Bracket Battles being introduced. Enjoying all aspects of the game, even the often hard to find lawyers and fans. Jam Sessions are fun. I’m eager for Act 2 and 3 to see if my predictions about Jam Sessions are correct. Time will tell. Though of everything I’ve read, I still think I’m most likely to be right. But I guess it’s cause I’m just used to being right 😊. Why am I not completely right and winning the Bracket Battle Contest you ask? The only reason I’ve not been perfect in the Bracket Battle Contest is because you guys have been wrong in your voting. It’s not my fault. 😊
