I am getting no credit for lawyers dropped. I have never gotten notifications of friends finding my lawyers or an increase in collecting supplies. As a test, I dropped lawyers in my husband’s town, signed into his game, tapped some of the lawyers and saw my name. When I logged back into my game, I get no notification and nothing for having dropped lawyers.
Is anyone else having this problem? Is there anything I can do or should I contact EA?
Since the soccer event doesn’t generate anything would it be best to inventory all items to gain open land space.
1) i guess i should store all my trees and bushes too; 2) i know at least one person that wishes it actually were a soccer event.

Today after visiting my neighbours I noticed that I have a very difficult town to visit.
When I began to play (almost 2 years ago) didn’t have many cash to buy land tiles so I managed to arrange my buildings in a very tight display.
It’s very noticeable the pattern of arrangement: buildings near the mountains are jammed and going east from there I arranged buildings with much more space (I even surrounded buildings with gardens and stuff).
For this particularly event I think it’s been hard for my neighbours to tap fans and even harder to find lawyers.
To all of them I apologize but hope to see you visiting me. 🙂
Weird that the premium version of the Taste of Duff Beer Truck doesn’t have a multiplier. Since it was a community prize, everyone playing for Tap Ball will have one, why spend donuts on another.
Lots of new players since the “tap ball” event…it’s a new item to them…but I agree, it should now have an XP bonus 😁.
Just guessing…I’ve noticed that OFTEN (ALMOST EVERY TIME) I will go drop off lawyers in a neighbors town and immediately upon return to my own town I get the message that I’m being given the exact SAME amount of rewards as should be given for the amount of lawyers I’ve just dropped off with “no assistance”. This has happened SOOO many times that I don’t think it is a coincidence. Only a few times do I get the message that someone has assisted me. I’M GUESSING that when I drop off lawyers in neighbors towns that are in different time zones, the game may think 4 hours has already expired and gives me the credit for the drop instantly. MY CONCERN is that the lawyers I dropped off for my neighbors are immediately expiring as well. 🙁
Is anyone having issues with lawyers?
I just put 10 in a friend’s town. I saw them running around. I then quit the game.
5 minutes later, my friend told me she doesn’t see any. I logged in and got the “nobody assisted” screen! I look around her town, and nope… I can’t see any. Her town is relatively small as she hasn’t played long. I had not put any lawyers in any other town, just hers. I know this as my account was hacked, the person deleted all my friends and EA wouldn’t help restore them, so I only have Facebook friends left and only one has played since the event started. I didn’t do Other Springfield, either.
Happen to me to. Sent to “D” game, clicked on them, came back as unassisted.
I beleive that the “assisted” screen will only tally the lawyers that have been picked up successfully by your neighbors (that you originally dropped) and show you the bonus you will now receive. It doesn’t show who you are dropping them on or who has dropped on you. Don’t know why the lawyers didn’t show up in your friends town…did they try to sync (go to krustyland and back) and then look again?
Yep I noticed that after 2.30 pm yesterday all lawyers vanished from my town, glad I’m not the only one
Aside from the random difficulty with finding lawyers (sometimes they are all over the place, other times they are grouped together), I’m enjoying this event.
BUT…I’m also witnessing how difficult it can be for newer players.
I have a relative that decided to start playing just before the event started. She’s now at level 10 and is getting the basics of the game. But there is no way she’s getting all of the prizes, and it’s going to be a while until she unlocks Weird Al (here’s hopi g that unlock-task sticks around until the end). With only a few of the characters, she can only send three off to concerts (Homer, Apu, and Lisa) and has a few to work on Weird Al.
It would be nice if EA did a “catch-up” option for new players…give them the option to purchase (with in-game cash, not donuts) characters that help with the event so they aren’t so behind. Wondering how many new players get turned off by being unable to keep up…I think something like a catch-up option would drop those numbers.
This is the reality of this game. Since events happen event two months, I think all players have encountered the issue of being low level and not having a lot of shot at completing the event quest lines with the characters they have.
While EA doesn’t offer items for in-game cash, they have, of late, been offering content at a discounted donut levels via mystery boxes. Not ideal, but as you level up up in the game and use some of the strategies discussed in this forum, donuts do get easier to come by.
When I started out, I got hardly anything from my first event. I spent real cash for donuts to get a couple characters, and even then came no where near any final prizes. Sorry, but we’ve all been there…if she loves the game, she’ll stick it out. Hopefully, we’ll have a new addict in the fold😊.
we all started the game at one time as a new player and had to pay our dues to get to where we are. Unless you’re lucky enough to start the game between events, chances are you’re not going to be entirely successful in your first event. Fortunately, they do bring around again the prizes that one might have missed in the first event later so one can buy them for donuts. If not being able to get *everything* right off the bat is a problem for someone, then maybe this isn’t a game for them.

I don’t agree with this. I started playing a week before Christmas 2013 event. I got every prize. No newbie disadvantage back then.
I think a new player should enjoy where they are, and not compare themselves to the “Jonses”. I remember several years ago at my beginning enjoying EVERY new building and decorating it just so to add to my Springfield. Now I have so many buildings coming in at a flurry that I stack them in a row and give them sometimes only a quick glance. Enjoy the ride, stop and smell the roses, and don`t be in a hurry to reach the endgame. A little league kid can enjoy his first home run in front of his mom and dad just as much as a major league player hitting his 500… Slow down, enjoy the moments, and don`t be in a hurry to grow up. Fond memories happen now, not later… Happy Tapping!

True – I guess seeing where she’s starting, I felt a little bad and started wondering about how EA could help out. But reading the responses, I guess I forgot that I started the same…without much help, missing out on cool premium stuff and prizes that required event currency that I had trouble earning.
Funny thing – after posting her ID to help with getting her neighbors, I asked if she cared that she might miss out on stuff. She didn’t…so I got concerned for no reason 😊
Nope, they have to earn it just like the rest of did. I only got a couple of Stonecutters because I started the game just before the event started.
Does Rockin Otto come with Otto or is it a skin?
It comes with Otto — I know that the long term players are miffed (and for good reason) but as a new player I’m really glad to get him with an extra skin for the 120
It’s a really good deal for those who don’t already have him…character, skin and building(bus) for 120 donuts…what’s not to love? 😎👍

Those rotten Newbies with just a dozen characters getting a good deal that will help them crawl forward in this game while old timers race forward with our dozen of dozen characters envying the great deal.
I’d buy it in an instant then (if I had no Otto) and I’d buy it in an instant now IF the skin allowed Otto to jam in all 3 Acts. Don’t think it does.
While I’m not EA and can’t say with 100% conviction, I am 99% confident you’ll still be able to have Rockin’ Otto jam on the Rock Stage or Simpsons House throughout Acts 2 and 3.
So I unlocked Nick Delacourt yesterday, and finished the quest line for Act 1, and as of now I already have a bonus task (collect 5000 cuffs). Is this a glitch, or does it run already concurrently with the cuff-collection for the last two prizes? Not that I’m complaining, more donuts for me, it just seems out of the ordinary.
So I guess, as soon as you unlock Nick, make sure you finish that last quest (make him rock on the rock stage) sharpish, because afterwards the bonuts start. I kept sending him to other stages and was wondering why the task wasn’t finshing. D’Oh!
Not a glitch. Just an early bonuts round. Keep playing and earnings bonuts. It continues at least up to the last prize.
After that, I don’t know as I’m not THERE yet.

Why is Otto nowhere in my shop? Not even the original one just with the bus? He seems to be helping with the event but I can’t find him anywhere. Anyone else facing this problem? Thanks!

I have to say, as a seasoned player for a number of years, this is my absolute favorite (so far)!
I unlocked Weird Al today and I picked up Bleeding Gums Murphy at the beginning of the event. If I were to unlock nothing else, I’d still be happy with this event.
Hey howdy Fellow tapperinos! What have you all found as the best way to make money? I’m now a consistent KEM farmer but frustrated how little money I make each day. Can get myself up to 1mil a day and this greedy tapper wants more. 🤑
I think it took me approximately 2.5 years of playing and a 400% multiplier before I didn’t have to worry about cash flow.
(There was a year where we could craft Wailing Walls for free around Halloween. They have a payout as well as a bonus. I think I got 40 of them. After that, my finances were in great shape. That hasn’t happened again, though. If you want to boost your multiplier these days, your best bet is getting mystery boxes for the billboards and news vans.)
You need to buy mystery boxes (6 donuts) to get your % up. Avg of <9 donuts per %, plus Lard Lads.

Farm fewer KEMs and/or don’t go for second or third bonus box tries….those eat up a lot of cash.
The biggest money earning difference is using the shortest task times you can handle collecting. You make slightly more from three 1-hour tasks than one 4-hour task. (The only exceptions are the tv and radio stations…for some reason, you do better with the 4-hour options there.) Also, focus on increasing your bonus multiplier…that probably ultimately mashes the biggest difference.

Is there any strategy in getting what you want from the Concert Mystery Box without having to keep trying and eventually getting it? I made the mistake of wasting 65 donuts trying to get Rockstar Maggie and instead got the Saxophone Lisa skin. I don’t need another premium skin for Lisa and besides she’s tied up doing jam sessions for this event. I hate these mystery boxes. I just want to buy what I want without getting stuck with something I don’t want. It’s okay, I will pay the full cost of the premium item if needed to get exactly what I want. The game teases me with the option to “get her now” in the jam session screen, but there is no sure way of getting her.
Nope, just random chance. People still talk about the “Wait until it’s on the left” thing, but that plain old doesn’t work.
Which item you get from the Mystery Box is random…you have no control over it. Some people think that, if you wait until the one you want is in the first position, that’s what you’ll get, but no. It’s just a coincidence when it plays out that way.

Thanks. I can attest that the first/leftmost position doesn’t mean anything. Rockstar Maggie was in that position when I dropped my 65 donuts and I did not get her unfortunately.

Sorry if this has been asked before I’m on painkillers so not really with it. In the Jam sessions I see I can get Rock Star Maggie but I know she is in the Mystery box. When I press get her it takes me there too. My question is if I press the get Maggie and then press the mystery box, will I get Maggie or something else. I don’t want to waste my donuts as I don’t have many, thanks
No guarantee which prize you’ll get. Might be Rock Star Maggie, might be one of the other prizes. What will you get? I’d say it’s a “mystery”.

Does anyone have any knowledge of how the spooky campfire works post-event? I am a new player and got it free with the last event. It is at “Level One” and pretty much everything I can find just talks about the event. Things seem quite different now — one of four people can tell a story and then nothing happens. I’ve used every person at least twice and no changes. Anyone know for sure that it can be upgraded and, if so, how?
Leveling up is only relevant for the past event.
Now it is just a decoration with animation. EA just wanted to monetize the coding already done by making it available to players who weren’t playing back then.
Just to confirm — when you say that leveling up is not relevant, do you mean that the campfire does not level up at all or that nothing really cool happens like in the event?
Just like the Tailgate Party…if you didn’t get it during the event, it doesn’t level up.

I finally upgraded my phone. I usually play on my Kindle, but am consider playing on my phone at work to get more jams in. Do I have to sign in and out each time I switch devices? I have a bad feeling the answer is yes. Thanks in advance.
Turn that bad feeling upside down (sounds better when you say turn that frown upside down).
No, you don’t have to log out each time. It will warn you that your other device may not have saved and if you’d like to “Play Now”. Just be sure to go to the neighbours screen and back to your Springfield (or alternatively to Krustyland and back to your Springfield) before you log off so as to synchronize your game. This will make it less likely that it doesn’t save your last actions.
Not the right forum, I know, but I can’t post any questions in Q&A, so as a last resort: how do I contact someone who posts here and who send me a Neighbour request that I accidentally deleted. When I go thru the usual channels in-game the user name comes up as not known, so I guest s/he plays under a different name to the one s/he uses in her/his posts … thanks
You could ask them by user name in this forum to resend the request …if they read this regularly, they will probably follow up. I did the same thing once, and I got another request within a day. Of course, if they don’t read this regularly (silly tapper), you are both out of luck.
Note…you might want to put the request in the most current day’s post…I don’t think anyone will mind.
I’m almost embarrassed to admit it but I’ve started putting a timer on my phone. On the past events where it’s very regimented on these 4 hour rotations I’d do all I could during the day but I’d always just sleep uninterrupted. Well, I was half a day late to get this update so I decided to put an alarm on and wake up at the right time during the night these last few days. I’ve caught up and am now ahead of the rate ( I also bought BGM). Not sure I’ll continue during the work week but I might. I’m going on a vacation *next* week (Boston!) so it might be wise to put myself in a good position. Crazy what one will do to get everything, hah. I know they’ve got to get people to play but I wish it was a little more lenient. Seems like these last 2 or 3 big events have been more strict.
Don’t feel bad. Whenever I start a jam session I set a timer on my phone. Because i get busy and forget otherwise. When timer goes off during a meeting or something I say it’s a project reminder lol. If you set a timer for jam sessions set for 24 minutes less then needed. You can clear jam sessions with 24 minutes left on the clock free. Saves 2-3 hours of tapping during the day.
I use my phone’s stopwatch since I started to play ☺️. By now I quite “feel” it’s elapsed 4 hours (I log in every 4 hours almost everyday). I know it sounds stressful but is the only way I managed to play so far in order to get the events prizes. 😐

Does anybody else experience a glitch when giving lawyers to neighbors? I have had lawyers disappear if I don’t clear them right away, and when I do find them, I’ve noticed the game is changing the sender’s name with a random neighbor..I’m playing two towns on two tablets and sent lawyers back and forth which is how I stumbled across this glitch. It’s a drag because I don’t really know who’s sending lawyers to me.
lawyers expire after 4 hours, so if you haven’t found them by then, you won’t find them at all. as for the changing of the sender’s name…. my brother and i discovered that the game doesn’t seem to attach a neighbor’s name to a particular lawyer, but instead, gives credit to neighbors in the order of who sent you lawyers first.
Any thoughts on who to jam with when you have more characters than venues? I’ve currently have four venues with ten slots but 11 characters who could jam. I’ve put Lovejoy on hiatus because he only has a Rock icon next to him, he only has 1.5 stars, and I’m thinking that gaining stars on characters who have other icons like pop or rap is a reasonable goal. Anyone else know what’s best? It’ll exacerbate once I get Otto and Peter over the next few days.
Basically that’s a pretty sound strategy. Focus on characters that also have the Pop and/or Hip Hop icon in addition to the Rock icon.
Or would you take this time to focus on leveling up those characters like Lovejoy and Homer to get them into a higher earning bracket while you have the time?
No, if I had to sit characters, I’d stick to sitting the Rock only non-premium characters first, like Lovejoy.
Well, I will definitely keep leveling the multi-purpose guys & premium rock guys, but I have the same problem, and I was thinking of rotating the non-premium, rock-only guys. Right now I have Homer, Lovejoy and Nick Delacourt with 1.5 stars each, and if I rotate them, they all will keep leveling up, but a bit more slowly. I guess it comes down to the question, if there will be a use for everyone, or if there will always be surplus, in the coming acts. I wouldn’t mind a little spoiler here…
If I were in your position and had 2 slots, I would let Homer fall behind and focus on Lovejoy and Delacourt, and send Homer on premium skin tasks.

Once someone reaches 5 stars, than I’d start sending the left behinds.
I’d add that, if you have more than one character that fits that description, if one of them is a premium character or has a premium skin, then send that one to earn money and XP.
I’m looking forward to having *two* extra characters, so I can send Homer and Apu on their non-jamming, currency-earning task together.
I’ve been using the extra character to work on open questlines that need them.
Now that I have an extra character, I use Apu back at the Pin Pals alley…fun to have a full house again (I have 3 alleys) and he earns premium where the Rev doesn’t.
Do the quest lines for BGM and the 2 rocker guys during that time if you haven’t already.
Is there any particular reason to do so? Do they earn event currency or just regular currency? Wouldn’t it make more sense to do them after event and just level them up? Especially BGM given that it seems he can do all three events.
Not really, other than to complete the quest line while you have extra preformers with nowhere to preform… If you pick other preformers to sit out that do not have quest lines, what are they going to do? (Rockers could continue to rock the whole event, we don’t know until Act 2 starts) Anyways, just a suggestion. Play the way that you feel is best for you and your game.

I’m still not clear how the Jam characters get their green blue and pink icons you see next to them in the star management or rock stage pages of the event. And what they even do? Is that explained somewhere?
There should be a post on it tomorrow. Basically for now you can ignore the icons. The icons will be more important once Act 2 begins.
thought I’d be clever and put all my characters on indoor tasks to help my neighbors. then went to my town from my husbands game and learned the game seems to show whatever it wants to your friends! at least it helps me in my own town i guess.
It seems to me that for this event, it forces all the characters to be doing outdoor tasks or roaming aound when visiting neighbors.
I’ve seen when I visited towns before all the characters coming out of a building. I think it is normal.
I think that’s always the case…even when you send your characters to do indoor tasks, they always appear outdoors to visiting neighbours.

Enjoying the event. Have a concert area in my town.
A couple of things I would like to see. First different music from the regular, would like to hear the jams they are playing.
Second wish that when when you sign in to a neighbors town it would take you to their main stage. I like to see how everyone is designing their stages. Have not been able to find them in most neighbors towns.
Seafair in my town this weekend and Blue Angels are flying over my house right now, very cool. Enjoyed a nice family vacation last couple weeks. Now having some quiet time and appreciate that too.

Hi neighbor. If you’re looking for the main stage in my town.you all find it at the bottom of my town on the new strip of land. Don’t mind the parking lots they are only land filler until ea let’s me have roads dirt or concrete.
