Just curious…how would one get the last stage several days before the rest of us? I have a friend who has had the Hip Hop stage for at the least 5 days now. I looked all over to see if it was one you could buy, but I see now that it is indeed the Hip Hop stage. If you pay to turbo-tap is there early access? I am a free-mium player for the most part but was curious. Thanks for the info! I love reading your posts!

Brackets, open threads, anything but posts related to the current event should be on a different page. Between the 4 hour grind to get everything and searching for should I buy during events, I look to your AMAZING site for answers. I hate to hit see older posts 10 times to see you confirm that Gill’s offer sucks. I’m a Semi-premium player (Will spend $ if I like, but want a confirmation from the experts (not like a religious confirmation from the Bishop like my son’s. but an affirmation that the deal is not good)). Also don’t want to have to search for the calendar (love the chart but it is easier to see which day of the week it is. (OK I have been a whole week off during an event)). This is an open thread its my opinion and as hard as I try I can’t get the surfs to throw the tomatoes at homer on the conveyor-belt in a screen capture to submit for capture this. In other words KEEP UP THE GREAT work. Also why does Norm, as Death in Family Guy only have three fingers on TV. Was thinking of getting Praiseland – then decided it was too costly – then scored 30 donuts in a mystery box from the weekly prize track and think I will bite the bullet now!
Instead of using the term “Global Warming” perhaps we should use “Human Assisted Warming” instead to help more people understand.

Due to hurricane Harvey I am not able to get on tapped out since 2 days ago. I was very close to getting the character in act 2 but now without being able to log in I defiant won’t. I’ve been trying to still log in but no go. Wish the Creators would send me a bunch of donuts but I know that’s not gonna happen. Just wanted to complain to someone.. just sad I can’t log in 😟
I’m curious to know what the highest bonus % people have. I’m currently at 790.65%. Also, when collecting from the jamming, Bart says something like “Gee, my sister sucks.” Does anyone know the full quote?
I’ve seen comments over 5000%, several over 2000%, many hundreds in the 700-1200% range.
I’m in the 600 range. I feel like I’m on the low side of the more advanced group.

There is 8 seasons planned (shorter than 1-6, season 7 is 7 episodes shortest is 50 min and longest is 79, most around 60. Season 8 is the last one and just 6 episodes). So don’t worry yet there is still more of this amazing show to watch 😁

There is a series of books out. Called “A Song Of Ice And Fire”
Yes, I know. Sorry for the confusion. I was referring to the last 2 books in the series, “The Winds of Winter” , and “A Dream of Spring”. The last book that was released was “A Dance With Dragons”, which was published in July of 2011 (over 6 years ago). The TV show was originally based on the novels, but has long since passed them in continuity, because there are no new books to base it on. Also, the author, George R.R. Martin, is now 68 years old, and seems to be in no hurry to finish his work.
Didn’t know about the last book have no idea how I missed that. I have been dealing for several years with a lot of medical issues with my hubby. The dam big C. Aye Caramba. 😞 😬

Hi BP. I hope you enjoy those books, they really are fantastic. I would, however, recommended taking your time reading them. Maybe by the time you get through the fifth one, the next one will be out, with still one more to go. BTW I have read that G.R.R.M. has stated that the last 2 books could be over to 1500 pages each. Blimey indeed!
Yeah, I’m expecting it to be a ‘Lord of the rings’ type of experience. I needed to take my time with them, albeit a fair few years ago. Not the kinda books I’ll pick up to read while I have my lunch break.

A shout out to all those affected by the devestating Hurricane Harvey over the last few days. Hang in there. You will get through this… in time. One of the reasons I was not playing TSTO early on was because I was recovering from Superstorm Sandy. It wasn’t until some normalcy returned to my life that I ventured into playing the game. I’ve been playing for a few years now, but the recovery from the storm still continues even today. Long after the news reports leave our TV screens, computer screens, smart devices, etc… the long road of recovery from a storm like this continues on.
As for the game… Well, I enjoyed Act 1 of the current music event, but I have to say that Act 2 has me feeling like it’s a bit of a chore to play the game now. Grinding away with the jam sessions, tapping the festival goers, and hunting down festival goers in other towns has gotten a little long in the tooth for me. I love that we finally have Bleeding Gums Murphy in the game, but he’s just been jamming away non-stop since the event began. I tried to get Rockstar Maggie a couple of times, but was unsuccessful each time and I fear wasting more donuts on items I don’t want if I engage in another attempt. I wish they just made her available to be purchased directly without random mystery bag thingy. I hope Act 3 brings some new craft-able items as I think I got all that I want or need now with the current offerings. I didn’t get the Alaska character yet (and may not depending when Act 3 begins) and I don’t have enough pop performers to fill all the venues when they randomize as all pop venues. This event would had worked better as a mini event for me.

Not sure where else to put this, so here. I’ve kept my friends list short for years so I will visit between events. I started this one with 45. As of Sunday night I’m down to 30. People are quitting. And these aren’t ones just starting. Lowest was level 60. Highest 733. You go through your list checking and people haven’t logged in for 3 or 4 days. I’m doing fine, finishing early, getting everything. But obviously some aren’t and just giving up.
TSTO has not turned into that Other game. I know. I played it for a couple years and had to quit. But, the events do seem to drag on. And when, if you do want everything you have to log in 4 or 5 times a day for 6 weeks, maybe it’s asking a bit much for what is essentially a casual game for a lot of people.
Not sure if EA keeps track of this sort of thing, but they may need to adjust going forward. As an older game, I don’t personally think they can afford to lose older players as quickly as they seem to be doing.
Just venting a bit. Nothing to see here. Go on with your tapping.

I think it just depends on who you have in your list. Surprisingly for me, I’ve only lost a few this event. I still have a couple that I started with when I joined back around Clash of Clones.
I finished Act 2 on Thursday and most of my neighbors had finished by Friday night…the people who aren’t logging in may just be taking a break between acts to “recharge”. Like you said, these long events can become a drag, and some folks just take a breather between acts. You can check their Act 2 scores… I’ll bet most are over 105,000. Some of them may also be dealing with the hurricane and have other concerns right now. Don’t give up on your neighbors yet, you will probably see them back tapping tomorrow.
Is it just me or do they randomize the non-stage venues like Moe’s and the Kwik E Mart? There have been a few times when I had 3 pop venues and one rock venue and had rockers doing nothing, but there were mpty spots because I did not have enough pop stars.
NVM I just read through the jam sessions post and they are random. I guess I am a little unlucky with my randomization.
Put Luigis, Moes, Ajax Steel Mill, Ottos school bus, o flabbagans pub and overpass diner in front of your venue so you can get people to play instruments and dance outside the venue. Making a list right now. Here’s a rough draft of what I got.

As a music fan, I am really enjoying this event. I got Alaska Nebraska with 4 days left. One question: is it still best to use auto with the jam sessions going from the last venue first and continuing to the rock stage?
If you are filling up all the smaller stages and not running out of spaces for all your characters using the auto-fill feature, by all means, continue using it. If you have more characters than spots, it would behoove you to apply your own logic to set your lineups and to determine who sits.

Crafting isn’t as good as it used to be. Just saying I don’t think the number of items available to craft are similar to past events, or as good it’s like the past two or three events they’ve changed it up cause I know the super hero event or the future event with the hovering signs I forget what it was called but my point being I was able to craft like 8,9, or 10 buildings I still have a couple in storage cause I had a few more than the room to build them till I reorganize my town. But it seems like they are skimping out on the crafting currency lately.. Just enough to unlock everything and get one or two of them and the quality is not as good in my opinion. E.A. really could’ve done a great event out of this I mean come on its music so many cool idea’s involve music. But I don’t want to take up to much space. Just thinking out loud.

I’m at level 609 and still no Bob. I can only tap him once a day in my other Springfield. Doesn’t look like i’ll get him.
I’m guessing you’re neglecting krustyland. One of the levels around 45 requires a build over there before you can progress further. A lot of people get stuck because krustyland annoys them.
If your level questlines have stopped generating check the following:
How many quests are in your taskbook? If there are too many unfinished quests new ones will not generate until some of the current ones are finished.
Do you have any unfinished quests for Krustyland? Level 43’s questline requires placement of the giant wheel in Krustyland. And a bunch of Krustyland quests need to be completed to unlock the giant wheel.
Do you have any unfinished quests for Squidport? Level 44 and level 49 both include placing Squidport buildings.
Have you unlocked Springfield Heights’s LA Body Works (to produce yoga mats) and increased its storage capacity (achieving specific REV levels and spending currency to unlock new character jobs)? Level 58 includes placement of a building purchased with yoga mats.
As for unlocking Sideshow Bob, you’re not alone. Getting this quest to trigger is troublesome. All I can suggest is basic troubleshooting (sync, hard close the app, power off your device, log out and back in, and/or delete and reinstall the game (only if you have an origin account)) and to continue to tap SSB in Other Springfield. Where he spawns depends on which level Other Springfield displays in your game. For me, he spawns just to the left and down from the landing point. He’s quick – good luck.
Happy Sunday to Everyone. Recently bought some 300 donuts and I’m up to about 541 donuts. Any ideas on what I should buy? Thinking about Praiseland and possibly Leon. What do you guys think? On another note, I’m lucky to be up North in Texas but the weather has still been bad. Thoughts go everyone in the South.

One day I said day. Boss is on vacation and 2 of the 6 people scheduled today called out. I ended up having to stay 2 extra hours and doing 3 people’s work. I’m not even sure I’ll make it thru Game of Thrones tonight.
Finished the act a couple of days ago. Just scoring bonuts now. Quick question, if you have 3 daily challenges saved do you lose any others or are they stored? I have 3 saved and am wondering if I should clear one or can let them build up. I tried looking it up, but the answer was unclear.
They don’t build up. You will just miss out on a few days worth of currency. You only need to keep two days worth of Daily Challenges (Sunday and Monday’s) headed into Act 3, because the onset of Act 3 will bring about the release of a new third Daily Challenge anyways.
I’ve had Alaska for a few days. Went to do an all female Pop Stage performance, but only had Lisa, Alaska & RockMaggie. Really wish Rachel could have jammed…or at least had one or two more females for the stages like Tabitha Vixx or even Cyndi Lauper (if they wanted to spend some more money).

For once my post isn’t game related… I’m writing this post from my local hospitals Coronary Care Unit. I’ve had chest pains on and off for some time and after a couple of visits to my doctor and a couple of ECG ‘s that have appeared normal I was refered to a chest pain clinic on Friday at 9.30. ECG number 3 normal then to see some clinicians. After some very detailed questions and brief examinations they decided that I probably was suffering from unstable angina… following blood tests and a scan it would appear I’ve had a couple of heart attacks in my recent past. So it looks like I’ll be having an Angiogram on Tuesday or Wednesday and stents if required. My advice is obvious. Don’t do what I did. Don’t ignore the signs. GET CHECKED OUT. I’ve been lucky I could have a very serious heart attack. I’m now walking around slower than usual on quadruple the amount of medication I was previously on with a Bluetooth heart monitor. REMEMBER GUYS DON’T IGNORE THE WARNINGS YOU M8GHT NOT BE AS LUCKY AS ME

Been there, done that, stent and all. Relax and enjoy your couple of days off. They have it down really well, very relaxing and completely pain free. If you stay over night your biggest problem will be picking what you want from the menu for your dinner and breakfast. Think of it as a vacation from everything. They do all the work. It really is that simple and relaxing. Shower with dial soap in the morning and then head for the SPA!… It is a bitch to have it, but the process of taking care of it can be a vacation, if you let it…

Today, I start what is hopefully my last uni subject. In just 13 short weeks, I’ll be finished.
I really like this event. I finished on Friday and am sending everyone to jam to build up their stars and collect bonuts.
I just noticed Disco Stu was on sale with a 75 donut rebate in my store. It’s not part of the vault and I just happened upon it. Is this something EA does, unannounced sales? Is this for everyone or do we each get random sales? I suppose I should check the store even when there aren’t new items?
