UPDATE: Appears this bug is now fixed!
Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
So I’ve left work and I’m driving to pick up the Tiny Addict (don’t worry i pulled over) and I’m seeing a ton of comments from you guys about a new update and an infinite loop bug that’s happening with the dialogue. It’s impacting the ability to play TSTO. (Pretty much everyone is impacted by it)
I’ll dig into this when i get home, but for now use this post to report issues or anything you’ve heard about it. Just to keep everything together on one place.
I’ll add more when i can…
I knew I’d find some info here about this problem hahaha. It’s nerve-wracking! I can do nothing.
Does anyone know if this affects the game if you haven’t unlocked the barn prize?

Stuck in dialog loop on Android tablet.
I tried deleting and re-adding but it didn’t help

Yep, got it on Android as well. Downloaded an update prior to opening the game and now It’s the Lisa/Quimby/Moe dialogue over and over…

think you should be fine as long as you finished the event questline.

I finished and I’m stuck in the loop.
I’m having the same issue. Just unlocked the last prize and am getting the infinite dialog loop glitch like everyone else. Won’t lets do anything else. Tried restarting the game, restarting my kindke, etc etc. When game opens, it Just goes straight to the same old dialogue glitch. Praying they get this fixed asap for all our sakes!
No issues here. Was unaware of any issue until i stopped by the site just now. I did notice an in game update yesterday for what its worth. Nothing obvious changed after update.
you probably have the event questline completed already, right?
Yep I am that would make sense. In game update just hit about 1/2 hour ago as well.

Finished the tasks for the mini event, now lisa is talking in an infinite loop with Quimby and Moe. Even after restarting the app, I can’t get the loop to end. I cannot lay the game. HELP!!
Hmmm…I finished the event and the job others seem to be looping on. I did see an update, wondering if the fix for something broke this one.
Well that sucks. I built my first cornfield. Noticed that the task icon had gone. Whilst starting my overnight jobs i found a yellow 8 hour task on residents to search cornfield so sent some off to do this then Lisa starts her dialogue loop. Game over. Can’t do anything now except tap through the dialogue again & again & again & again …..
Loopy …. Any updates? I had my loading screen turn black about
7 AM. Not sure if something DL’d with it …. or not …
Already completed questline, no loop for me.
In Spanish version, under Android SO, it happen the same at the exact point of dialog 😮
Android also, weird, I had this dialogue either earlier today, or yesterday. Now it’s back, with a vengeance.
Awaiting a call back from EA. Don’t bother uninstalling. Doesn’t help just takes forever
Bit me good! And it affects the other displays: I had started a corn field, and the task icon for the fair (under which the corn field task was a sub-item) is nowhere to be seen. Right now I have NO tasks at the lower-left – weird feeling!

I’m getting the infinite loop now too. The app downloaded some data right before it happened. I’m on an iPhone 7 with iOS 10.3.3 (the last one before iOS 11).
I was supposed to move on to the next part of the current quest and now i can’t get the pumpkin icon to open, and it did not give me the prize.

You were right, Mayor. The bylaws say I have to judge the animals. But it also says that I get to pick what we spend the community funds on. Why are we always giving power of attorney to children?! We should’ve learned our lesson when that Little League team instituted martial law! I’ve decided that we’re going to buy a community farm! And all the animals can live there in harmony and we’ll all help out! Somebody get me a pitchfork! That’s the spirit! And a torch, too! Come on, mob, let’s get her!
Over and over and over and over and over, tried everything to get out of it and it’s stuck real good. Seems to be only at this point in the game. Bet we get another update soon.
Could we use this thread for all IOS related bugs, or just the infinite loop?

Just adding that a data wipe and a reinstall didn’t help. So don’t spend the time re-downloading just yet.
I can second that, just tried the same thing, still stuck in loop.
