Let’s start with my reaffirmation that I am not a fan of Weird Al Yankovic. However, unlike most, I am willing to keep an open mind about my opinion. And, as many have said he puts on an amazing live show, I am willing to reserve final judgment until I see him perform his shtick, live and in person (as long as the tickets are less than $30 each).
But, he is here…in our Springfields…begging for attention (which seems to be his primary purpose in life), which warrants a post about him here.
What seems evident to me, is that he is much the same in the game, as he is in real life…a cartoon character, based primarily on his ability to spin puns and parity into gold (and bling). Even I have to admit…he has is act down.

As with almost all events, neighbor actions play an important role (some events more important than others). So let’s breakdown the neighbor actions available for Act 3 of Homerpalooza, so you can know all you need to know to earn that precious event currency and unlock all the Hip Hop prizes…
It’s that time…calling all Addict Designers! Now that Homerpalooza is in its final act, we’re getting ready to do the next Springfield Showoff and we want you to show us what you’ve done! So prep those towns…because we want to see what you’ve done with your Springfield!
The next Showoff will feature your Homerpalooza designs! So use the rest of Act 3 to polish up those festival areas and show us how creative you’ve been with the Homerpalooza stuff! Send in your designs and we’ll be putting up the Showoff Post featuring your designs on Tuesday, September 12th.
So you’ve got 2 weeks to work on them, including 2 weekends.
So finish up those designs and grab some screenshots of your town…just make sure to send your submissions in by about 8pm ET Monday September 11th (giving you loads of time to get your areas together)can’t wait to see what YOU have come up with.
You can send your designs in two ways…either post a link to the image in the comments on this post or you can email them to us at TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com. We won’t be pulling images from anywhere else, so please if you want to be featured either submit in the comments below or email your images to us.
IF you Email your submissions please put Showoff Homerpalooza in the subject line, and make sure your photos are in JPEG or PNG format..please. Also, be sure your submissions are in on time.
Note: PLEASE try to limit your submissions to only 1-2 of your favorite screenshots. We like to try and let everyone showoff their town but it becomes difficult when some of you are sending in 7-10 images. Pick your favorite areas and send them in (or if you stitch photos together, that works too). We’ll try our best to get EVERYONE in, but please understand that sometimes we miss a photo or two. If we miss you one week, we’ll try really hard to make sure we get you in the next week. You’re always welcome to showoff your town, at any time, on our Flickr page. We know a lot of you have awesome towns that you want to show off, but please try to stick with this week’s theme. Remember, this isn’t a contest. There’s nothing to win. It’s just a fun way to showoff your town and get some design inspiration from your fellow Addicts. 🙂

Wowsa! Homerpalooza has made a big ol’ splash in Springfield! What better way to cap off the summer than with a huge music fest in Springfield?! Complete with not only the character we’ve all been dying to get in our games but another Helpful Guest Star in Springfield…WEIRD AL!
For Act 3 of Homerpalooza you’re tasked with working your way through the Hip Hop Vibes in Springfield…including Jam Sessions, funding Weird Al’s bedazzling habits, making it rain money in Springfield and stopping Homer from getting pecked to death by Jay G’s Goose…
As was mentioned on the run down post Act 3 of Homerpalooza runs until September 12th (when the whole event ends), and you’ll need a whole lotta bling to get things started….
Don’t forget the Questline will help you get some bonus prize currency…so make sure you complete it to earn that extra currency…
Let’s take a look at the quick walkthrough for the third (and final) Act of Homerpalooza…
So…as predicted…it was pretty EAsy to get everything in Act II…even with the higher daily numbers. I barely tapped that last few days, and still “got everything” with time to spare.
I am a bit confused as to why we are even doing an Act III in some regards…like the fact that I have capped the max in what I can craft…which pretty much makes my quest of Lawyers moot for Act III. How many speakers and gun turrets do you need? What is this, a Guns -N- Roses concert? And if so…where are the roses???? But, I digress…
Here we are… another Grind-Fest coming…in hopes of getting a Monster Truck and a Cletus Skin. We do get “Rappin’ Bart” along the way, so some of the grinding may be worth it. I love his “EMINƎM” Marshall Mathers look.
The numbers are twice again what the originals were…but as we have now figured out…the key is simply log on at least 4 times a day…do the stage work…and you are good to go.
Let’s take a look at the dates and daily cume numbers…
