  1. I’m with Patric…having to weed out greenery in your town to be able to design a new section just sucks the joy out of designing.

  2. NEVER use a free land token for a piece of land that you can buy for in game cash. it’s a waste.

  3. I hit the item limit early – decided to get rid of all the flowers and shrubs.

  4. I don’t like to store “primary” stuff. I store duplicates (like fences, etc).

  5. I think EA has to take into account all of the events that they’re going to release during the year, and they have to make sure that Halloween falls at Halloween, and Christmas falls at Christmas. It’s a spacing issue.

  6. I know this would be a spoiler but please tell me the Easter fences are coming back? Too knew of a player originally to buy enough. Need for design!!!!!

  7. Guys, I appreciate all the effort you guys put into this site. Many thanks!

  8. Alyssa and I usually have SIB ESP.

  9. I don’t mind EA revisiting event styles, but I wish they would revisit things that people loved the best (like Stone Cutters) instead of the styles that people are bored of.

  10. Do you think Free Land Tiles will be the only way to get new land spaces or if they’ll go back to spending in game cash for them? Event items are all squished together and it would be nice to expand them.

  11. Some games they do not migrate. My test game is very compact and the tapables get stuck everywhere.

  12. Can we buy multiple gondolas? Would love to have a group in my Italian town.

  13. Blinky goes in the river

  14. I crafted the gondola but can’t seem to place it near my building to get the bonus points. It looks like it wants to be placed in the water but I can’t get the building close enough to the water to do that. What do I need to do? Thanks!

  15. Very seldom do I donut farm.
I have like $200mil in-game currency and growing.
Gotta support the game monetarily. Like, real money.
Just makes sense to support the game with what they need, real money.

  16. Sven is $13.99 (plus tax) in Canada

  17. Patric,
I don’t understand your beef with item limits. You can store an unlimited number of items. What is it about your Springfield that’s using so many items?
    Eric

  18. Patric, what about a “net cannon” for the turkeys?

  19. The Dante characters (for 300 doughnuts) were designed with doughnut farmers in mind. the svenjolly (spelling) character was designed for true premium players. I don’t spend cash for characters.

  20. Just joined! Just in time to hear Alyssa’s jab at EA for not taking advantage of this opportune time to add the world’s largest toilet. xD You want that so bad. Hahaha.

  21. My town is finally running out of room. I love all of the new content, but some of the new buildings are very large.

  22. Just joined in. Howdy.

  23. I like the event so far I like the prizes and the craftables I like the fact that there are no levels for crafting my biggest complaint is that I tend to have trouble finding tappables in my town

  24. Why can’t i put the gondola in the bonus percentage area??? I can only place it in water area. Help!!!

  25. Do you think this is an attic cleaning from EA.? Meaning they are clearing out items that they didn’t use because they were lame, like the da Vinci invention, the cheese truck etc? They don’t seem to fit…

  26. “Riding the Mop”? Is this a new drug? MOP?

  27. I like the “grand canal” homes with the seawalls…will be spending all my crafting bucks on them for now.

  28. Will we be able to craft multiples of the land tokens during each act, or just one per act?

  29. Things to give EA credit for: better craftables, act prizes are a little bit more enticing with characters and buildings instead of skins, loads of characters in this event, slightly different event structure with the videos and event currency bonus multipliers

Things to take credit away from EA: largely the same event structure as past events, really expensive premium items, same 4 hour grind, 7 week long event, limited land–only 9 new tiles for a lot of content

I really hope the donut farming situation that EA created isn’t the demise of their own game, where they aren’t getting enough in real world cash spending to make it worth it to write new code for different event structures, which leads to more people bored and not playing. There’s still content to be explored, but if its not fun to get than what is the point.

  30. Q: why the long event when most players prefer a short event

    • Well…because EA is lazy? It’s way EAsier to just make people grind for content, than to come up with dialogue and fun update tasks. Once you have programmed a set of tasks (like the jobs) you can just apply the same code, over and over, and over, and over again…
