Safi here, giving Wookiee a hand with these WDTCF. With WDTCF being a staple of TSTO Addicts, I’ll try to keep as true to the format as possible (by which I mean I’ll copy and paste one of Wookiee’s posts and just change the necessary info). Hope I make the Wookster proud. Enjoy:
In our silly lil game, we sometimes see things pop in that we have no clue as to their Origin. They seem familiar, but we just can’t pinpoint from where. So that is why we decided to make a fun lil reminder out of it. To let you know just Where Did THAT Come From?
It’s Springfield Jobs time here in all of our tiny tappable towns and my “job” is to tell you where those characters, buildings, and decorations in your “Springfield” came from.
It’s time for one of my favorite parts of being a reader here at this amazing site. That’s right… new stuff for us to talk about just WHERE it all comes from in the Best. Show. Ever. I’m always a fan of new things even though a lot of the coolest things cost precious sprinklies. It’s always a pleasure to re-watch episodes of the Best. Show. Ever. For this round of origins, we’ll be taking a look at the Characters released in Act 3 of the 2018 Springfield Jobs event:
Fernando Vidal is a professional killer, known as “the world’s most devious assassin”.
“Raging Abe Simpson and His Grumbling Grandson in “The Curse of the Flying Hellfish” ” (S07, E22)
Buried World War II treasure is the prize in a tontine, in which Grandpa Simpson and Mr. Burns are the last two surviving members. But Burns is determined that he will be the one who collects the prize. Burns orders assassin Fernando Vidal to kill Abe so he can get his key to the safe. Several attempts at killing Abe fail, including a Simpson family impersonation and just straight trying to gun him down with a machine gun in the retirement castle.
Fit Tony is originally from San Diego but later moves to Springfield to take control of the Springfield Mafia after his cousin Fat Tony’s death.
“Donnie Fatso” (S22, E09)
When Fat Tony dies of a heart attack Fit Tony moves to Springfield and takes his cousin’s place running the Springfield Mob. The pressure of the position gets to him and he begins to over-eat which causes him to put on weight. As a result of this weight gain he becomes known as Fit-Fat Tony and then simply Fat Tony, as he turned exactly in the same emotional and physical form of his late cousin.
Fit-Fat Tony, now nicknamed Fat Tony, now looks exactly like his cousin to such an extent that it is as if the original Fat Tony never died. While all future appearances of Fat Tony are Fit Tony, I’ll only mention this episode.
Raoul is a senior who lives in Miami Beach, where he owns a penthouse apartment.
“Catch’Em if You Can” (S15, E18)
When the kids realize that Marge and Homer have gone to Miami for a second Honeymoon (instead for the birthday of their uncle), the siblings do what they can to ruin their parents’ second honeymoon. After persuasion that many single beautiful pensioners will be there, Bart and Lisa get Grampa to take them to Miami. Grampa struggles with the Miami women, and meets Raoul.
Raoul is a senior who lives in Miami Beach, where he owns a penthouse apartment. Women disgust him and he becomes interested in Grampa. He shows him his penthouse and offers to listen to his stories. To avoid hearing Abe’s speech though, he shuts off his hearing aid.
“Flaming Moe” (S22, E11)
Smithers helps Moe turn his tavern into a popular gay bar, but later on Smithers gets offended at Moe for pretending to be gay. Raoul can be seen in the crowd, along with other notable past gay characters, during Moe’s speech to announce he’s running in the election.
