Itchy and Scratchy Land Act 2 ends this upcoming week past week. ICYMI you can check out some tips for prepping for Act 3 here. What are your thoughts on Act 2? How are you doing with the prize track? Ready for what Act 3 has in store?

Why does the roller coaster crowd cost 5000??? I’m either going to have an amazing coaster with no one waiting to ride it, or dozens of people lined up to ride the smallest coaster in the world. Sadness.
You can use the Cheering, Rude and Unruly Crowds from Homerpalooza and St. Patrick’s Day (Homer vs. 18th Amendment) events instead of the Rollercoaster Weirdos. I don’t know why they cost 5000 maybe they were supposed to cost 500 and EA accidentally added an extra zero to it. In my opinion I would rather see the amazing roller coaster with no one riding it than dozens of people lining up to ride the smallest roller coaster.
Alright, so i was wondering something. Does anyone else have that one building that you have absolutely no idea what to do with? With any design ideas you have, that one building just moves around your town with no rhyme or reason. For me, that’s my Playdough Factory. It just bounces around, sometimes I forget where it is and I need my Maggie finding. As for this event, the even 10k to each prize through me off. I’ve been done since Friday, but I got no satisfaction. It wasn’t a challenge, just now I have a kid that displays “bort” shirts all day. Excited to see if we get really cool decoration prizes for act 3.
After I started farming, I stored my playdough factory. Didn’t need it for donuts, it has a huge footprint with no payout, and I could never make it fit in my town.

Does TSTO Addicts have any presence at San Diego Comic-Con?
I’m going this year for my first time and figured I’d ask.
Do the Bonuts this act seem to be rolling in slower… I kknow they raised the value by 500 but they also raised the income from the gate by 15%… still I feel like it’s slow.
3500 is (at least for me) an awkward number to hit without ‘wasting’ event currency. 4 hour cycle nets approximately 1000, but if you clear all the staff ride tasks at once, anything past 3500 is reset to 0 for the next round. So each day you lose about 500 currency that would have been put towards the next round.
Put half your folks to work at the gate, wait 10 minutes, then put the rest in. If you really want to be exact, send only the number to work that you need in the last shift, then send the rest 10 minutes later. No wasted currency when you collect.😁
That requires being good at math (which I am) and diligently tapping exactly 4 hours later (which I am not). You can also ‘fudge’ the numbers a bit by leaving park goers up or using a daily challenge when you need 1500 axes (but not right now because we’re all saving those challenges for act 3)
For the truly curious, you can subtract 59700 (Bort unlock) from your current total axes, then divide the remainder by 3500 to determine how many Bonut rounds you’d have received with ‘perfect’ play. I figure if I lose a single round over the course of a week that’s no big deal. Mostly I’m just trying to ensure I get every I&S dollar possible as I have a grandiose roller coaster plan and it’ll be tight to get enough currency to finish it before the event ends…
It’s still driving me nuts…that pinkish and white flying\gliding animal on the right side of the opening screen.

Are the Itchy & Scratchy topiaries going to appear in Act 3 or are they just for the splash screen only? I would really like to include them in my I&S Land if they ever get offered.
I haven’t seen them in the files, so I think they’re splash screen only. But I agree, they would be great in I&S land…big misplay by EA on those
Yeah, this event is about building I&S Land, not destroying KLand (even though it just moved). The splash screen is a bit strange compared to most.
They would be more better than getting multiples of Kang, Kodos and Santa’s Little Helper Topiaries. I think they would of been a much better choice as the teaser item for I&S Land than Krusty’s Plane we got last month with the banker.

Hi- has anyone had this problem? You store a crosswalk, retrieve it, except it doesn’t allow you to change its coloring or advance the options? If so, how did you solve it?
I you are referring to Pride Crosswalks, they are stored at the last stage you upgraded them. After placing them back from inventory, you have to wait out the next upgrade level.
I have the same issue as well. Hopefully they’ll fix it for next update. I also noticed that when I place down new ones, I don’t get XPs like I used to.
There are now Crosswalks and Pride Crosswalks. Make sure you are placing the correct one.
Is it normal that, if I send Wiggum on his 60min task, he goes to the Lard Lad Donuts and this change facade into the ruined version? It’s the first time I notice that a task influences the facade, instead of being influenced by his presence (no building/facade, no task).
it’s annoying to have the lard lad changing into the ruined version every hour…
wiggum has a place a wreath one hour task at lard lad so that’s likely why the facade changes, you can choose to send him to gulp and blow for 1 hour instead and your facade won’t change.
Yeah, sorry, didn’t mentioned (should have been more specific xD) that I knew about the task, the thing is that using the option to send ALL the character to theytheir 1h task, Wiggum always go to the lard lad…
I was wondering if it was normal that a character change the facades instead of having the task greyed out if the facades is different.
Anyone remember another character with a task in a specific facades only? I would like to test it… (I shouldn’t care but I’m a Loc&QA tester and finding this thing always triggers something in me… xD)
If you have the stonecutters skin, he will go there when you send everyone for an hour.
Ray patterson can only go in the regular KEM facade, so say you change the KEM facade to it’s halloween skin, ray no longer can do his hour long task there. Is that an example you are looking for?

The lower icon is Road to Riches – which allows you, for a $$$ price, send Cecil on tasks that earn credits towards the Dam, and from there, other Aspirational items.

I lost my beloved MP3 player while out walking my dog, I don’t really want my music on my phone. My husband recently bought me a new player, and I imported my saved music and while I’m delighted, it won’t have near the variety and new music that Sonicboi and others post here, but I’m game to do a small list. I have yet to figure out how to stream music to my new player. I’m usually more inclined to put a you tube video on my tablet and let autoplay take it from there when I’m working, but I’d like to hear what people here are listening to.

Now that Act II is almost over & I’ve built my log ride, I’m beginning to move things around and trying to plan out K-land, with ISland as a section within. I haven’t decided whether to include Praiseland as another section or have it as 2nd-tier competition outside. Thoughts?
Speaking of broken down theme parks, went to see Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom yesterday. It is great!

I almost feel like my Springfield is in danger of being more theme park than town lately. I’m going to combine my KrustyISland, but no way would Maude Flanders family approve of including Praiseland, so that’s staying separate.

I agree about Springfield getting overshadowed. I’ve thought about using the WDW model with different parks and including all of the different countries in an Efcot Center, but then Springfield would simply be a postmark, like Lake Buena Vista.
I’ll probably be winnowing down my I&SLand after this event…certainly the super large rides from this event will be much smaller.
Anyone else notice that the Rollercoaster weirdos or any other ‘group’ like the concert goers can’t be placed on the Krustyland paths? Really hope EA changes this.

New to the game. Started a few weeks before the game. Still confused on some stuff but my town is pretty nice. I ignore the monorail and the tree and the shopping jobs since the event takes up most of my people. Can’t miss out on the free land pieces though. Currently making maybe 30k a day but I’d like to make more. Anyone want to see my town and give me some tips?
Increasing your bonus % (both visible and hidden) will make your cash flow increase and your leveling up will go faster. Look up Springfield Heights on this site because there’s a lot of bonus % (mostly hidden) to be unlocked, and it doesn’t cost cash. It will also fetch more land for no cash at all.
Buy 5 beach hideaways, and fully upgrade all of them, and place their accessories in your town and you will have an extra 100% bonus without having it cost any cash, and cash will be way easier to earn.

Hi guys….I have a major problem. I sent all 240 people to the focus group quest this am. They are all done and I have collected the money and xp for it, however, I can keep goingback to collect it again, and again, and again. The people are stuck inside….all 240 of them…..went to neighbors and back like 10 times, still stuck inside……removed and reloaded the game 3 times….still stuck……cannot pick up the itchy and scratchy thing, cant click on that to assign jobs…….help any ideas? Thanks
Store a building associated with a character stuck in the gate. Example, if you store Moe’s Tavern, Moe and Marge will be stored. Go to the friend’s screen and back or exit the game. Hopefully that will break the cycle.

Yay, reached 2bn REV earlier this week. Finally done with that chore!
Like others I have had item warning issues, but since I have a stockpile of 4500 pink sprinkle things and 490m in cash I have stored some of my bonus percentage items using the group storage function. This saves me having to look through my whole inventory should I wish to place them again. I’ve decided that once I reach 1000 items for all 4 monorail track types I will stop doing railcard donuts. The game is getting a chore which I am not enjoying so I will spend as little time as possible playing it.
I won’t be designing I&S land until after the event is over, or until I get more land tokens. Look forward to seeing other people’s designs which I will use for inspiration.
I’ve done the same with lots of my xp% items ….I gathered them all into 3 groups, then group stored them. Next time I’m ready to farm RTTs, I can pull them out and place them in an empty area, farm my donuts, then re-store them. I temporarily boost my xp earnings to around 1600% this way, and have been able to lower my piece count for daily play. It’s a win/win😁.

Is anyone else just kinda blah about this event? I feel no motivation to complete this one like the other recent ones. It was nice to see something different (no superheroes…yet…) but it’s just not doing it for me.
I have completed every other event I started. This one though i did not like and pretty much gave up after getting the free land. Probably the worst event that i have tried.
This event is ruined for me, too. It is the first event where I can’t use most of the items because of lag. When the event is over I will probably just store all of ISland. I don’t understand why the race track and log ride cause lag when my monorail doesn’t. I’m not going to spend over $1k for a new device just to play this game. This issue may put an end to my 6+ years of tapping. Forced obsolescence- it’s all a conspiracy.
I’m half and half. I hate the tedium of showing up just to staff rides and wait for tappables to show up every 4 hours. I hate saving up to craft things I don’t want just to level up. I hate the bonus percentage areas that keep me from designing like I want to as I go along because I have to save space for next act items.
On the other hand, a lot of the offerings make me happy. I was able to move the Duff Pavilion and topiaries to my Duff Gardens. I didn’t know where I wanted KISland to go so I used up my plethora of tokens and in-game cash buying up a ton of land so I have lots of options. EA is offering the stand alone buildings to go with the episode so I can flesh I&S land out like I imagined. I like Bort! But I LOVE the parade bundles! If there was nothing else at all- that little dancing dynamite, axe and the bomb makes everything worthwhile for me.
I think the things that are killing this one for me are…
The lag caused by the new ride animations- I really wanted to build a big raceway, but if it is basically going to brick my game on both my devices then it’s getting stored as soon as the event is done.
The craftables- 95% ride pieces, or giant parking lots. Again, not a lot to be creative with if it’s gonna screw with my game!
The only plus was having enough land tiles to buy up all of the open land that cost $$$. But now I can only use free tile tokens.
I&Sland was never a priority for me to start with, & I feel like it’s all going to end up in storage now that it is encroaching on my town. Other than collecting tix to exchange for cash I see no point in having it 🙁
I just realized that every prize you get is 100 donuts right at the bar to get(except prize one) I have been using it as a percentage of how close I am to unlocking it lol. Also I have been debating if I should get a $20 donut purchase or not… here’s my reasoning, if I pay for the 300 donuts I’ll one get the maw spuckler and two get scratchy. Also with the 244 I have right now I could get the ms.mouse and te park engineer and still have about 50 donuts left. Then I will have every character I care about except the dog. Can someone help me out… love ya guys.

Weird. I built the remaining Modern Mansions (5) to max out the hidden bonus. They were at level 1 – I put them in storage to move them across town … and they disappeared ! They’re available to build again like it never happened in the first place. No money lost, just time and coffee cups.
Are we getting another 15 day event calendar for another 14 day act like the one in act 2?
It’s based on 24hrs…all event calendars are done like this. Day 1 starts at 10a (et) last day ends at 10a (et). You can earn event currency on the first day AND the last day.
I understand that Alissa, but that means on the first day and last day which is 24 hours you still need the same daily total for each day to reach the goal. That means in 24 hours you need double the daily total.

OK…so here’s the conundrum. When I made it a 14.5 day went, which is more accurate, people freaked out that it was “too hard.” So…I made it 15…knowing that with a 7A PDT start/end, there are loads of people who don’t get the full benefit f the last day…due to time zone issues.
All I can say…is log in 4 times a day. The primary part that matters (clearing the park ride attendants) takes less than a minute…and offers the best reward. I finished a full 5 days early…and hardly played the rest of the update.
Thanks for the explanation Patric, I log into the game at least 5 times a day and finished the 2nd act in 7 days, but I feel the calendar is deceiving to other players who will fall short of the goal on the last day if they follow it.

So another dry week with another dry week ahead. Cape Town is getting some rain but it’s not making it along the coast to us. And starting on Thursday, we will have two hundred thousand plus visitors attending the National Arts Festival for 11 days. Hopefully all the visitors know about our water situation and use as little as possible – they can shower when they return home 😂😂😂 Will be a fun time with loads of shows, exhibitions, movies, talks etc and most importantly, festival food! I will be on leave for a week starting on Saturday so will try to take advantage of it!
Also going to get to see my younger brother and his two kids who will be staying with the Wrinklies for two weeks. I last saw them in Canada over 4 years ago so my niece and nephew will have grown somewhat. Looking forward to some family time 😄
Not getting as much designing done as I would like during the World Cup (well played England and come on Senegal – currently 1-1 with Japan) but there is always next week when I’m on leave. Starting to hoard daily challenges etc for the start of Act 3 but earning some bonuts in the meantime…

I’ve a question, do regular premium characters have discounts in vault or through events? I’m talking about character like Luann Van Houten, Manjula etc… Would like to buy some of them but I don’t want to find out that I could have them for less as for the limited time premium through the vault…
Almost everybody shows up in the vault or more likely in a mystery box eventually. Just depends on how patient you are.
Thank you Ebron, I was reading an old article with the list of the vault’s items and I thought that the contents were from that list only. I don’t need them now so I can wait until something pops out… if there is a change of it 🙂

I hate the way the percentage bar for building stuff is always in the way when I’m trying to build stuff. I wish it only showed up when you tapped on it. It’s so hard to see behind it.
YES! I thought it was just me, but when they started doing the events this way it has annoyed me.
I move the entrance out of the way when I’m designing and move it back when I’m done…too hard to work around it😁.
