Yes, the servers are down for some. Yes, EA’s network is down for some. And Yes, neighbors are missing for some!
The good news is, it’s not a Mummy’s Curse…it’s just typical Network glitches from EA. Hopefully all will be resolved soon!
In the meantime, don’t panic. Just eat some more Halloween Candy and hopefully the sugar high will take your mind off the game for a little while. Fingers crossed it’s all back up soon!

Thanks for confirming that EA servers are down. Good to know it’s not just Australia. Been down for more than 6 hours here.
This scared me. Many years of friend recruitment. I love watching how all the long term players lay out their towns. If the friends don’t come back add me avtrgirl . I can’t do this alone.
My issue with this is I can get into my one game just fine, albeit with no neighbors, and play that just fine. My problem is I can’t log out of my one game to play my other other two games. It is frustrating, for sure.
Semi-down for me. The new twist is I can log in on my semi-ancient Galaxy S5 phone, but with no friends showing. My truly ancient Transformer tablet never gets past the Bart screen.
Same for me, iphone and bluestacks, bart screen. Ipad works just fine.

(We were actually drinking Mimosas last night while we sat on the front porch giving out candy. I can attest that there is no candy that really goes with them…they made the OJ seem super sour. But after 2 of them, we didn’t mind🤪).

Maybe I am just bored because the servers are down, but could you set a poll every 2 hours to see how many people can connect and how many cannot connect? Thanks for all you effort.
I had a feeling it was an EA server problem. The spinning donut of doom kind of tipped it off for me. And thanks for the update. I wasn’t sure if it was EA or my local wifi going wonky, which tends to happen every now and then.

Unfortunately, this is true for TSTO throughout the years …. it sucks, it makes you want to vent your frustrations (I’ve been there an I have vented before) …. but I can’t see EA sitting on this (ignoring it) unless they want to lose Game Players for all their Game Apps effected by this 😐
“To start, press any key.” Where’s the “any” key?! I see Kuh-tor-ull, Esc, and Pig-Up, but I don’t see the “Any” key! Woah, all this computer hacking is making me thirsty, I think I’ll order a tab. (Presses tab key)…..
The Bart screen now says “Man, I hate this screen” instead of the usual cannot connect message that it normally has. Too funny. It’s nice that EA knows how we feel about the Bart screen, now if only they can get their network again, we’d all be happy again. Luckily I’m still logged in on another device so I can play. Hoping to be able to log in on the larger device soon.

I’ve been getting the dreaded Bart Screen since early afternoon. My splash screen begins to load (with the donut spinning), then I get the Bart screen with the “retry” button. When I tap the “retry” button, the Bart screen switches to its countdown mode (Retry in x seconds).
I came over here to see if others are having problems. I see it’s not just me!

Yup! I’m one of the lucky players with servers down! Almost three hours since I started to experience this glitch… The blue cable is still on Bart’s hand…

Once again, thank you Alissa for putting up a post about this. I just noticed that all my neighbours were gone apart from our good old friend Other Springfield . I haven’t noticed any server issues in my game yet but there have been lags in my game since yesterday. Mummy’s curse would sum these problems up as a belated happy Halloween from EA.
On a positive note, I got The Great Raymondo from the magical mystery box on Tuesday, Saturday I got the Cat Bus (which was the same price as it was last year but I will add it with the DMV when I get it from the box) and the Wednesday before that I got Angelica Button. I loved getting these character/building combos for a fraction of their original prices and adding their buildings to my town, I put TGR’s Home in my old Springfield section and with Bob’s Victorian House, I also put the Magic Academy Library in my Magic Academy Campus which I’m currently redesigning.
