We’re a few days into 2019 and it’s time for our first update of the year! Not Yet Spring Cleaning, the latest mini-event in Springfield, is full of content we’ve been asking for! (Springfield U, Alice Glick, Land Tokens..to say the least!) And of course, an all-new mini-event provides a great excuse for EA to throw premium content at us!
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Golden Goose Realty to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this land gold mine to your town…

Size: 6×7
Earns: 1 land token/12hrs. After you’ve purchased all the land in Springfield it will revert to paying out $300, 30xp/12hrs. (if more land becomes available at another date, AFTER you’ve purchased all of the land it should go back to earning land tokens)
Conform-O-Meter: Consumerism +20
Can Be Placed: grass|pavement|boardwalk|pier|dirt

Pros
-Earns land tokens, perfect for those of you who run out of land quickly..or those of you who are worried you’ll run out of land
-When you’ve purchased all of the land you can convert tokens to donuts. 1 token=12 donuts. (again please read this post prior to buying all of the land)
-Comes with a fun questline for Mr. Burns & Jay G
Cons
-Once you’ve purchased all of the land it reverts to earning cash and XP (likely until more land is available to purchase), so you can’t build up land tokens..if you’ve purchased all the land.
-150 donuts is pricey for a building without a character
Final Thought
Premium or Freemium:
Buy it. Doesn’t matter your player status, this item is something ALL players can benefit from. Whether you’ve maxed out your land or barely used any. This is something that is completely worth purchasing. Especially since you can convert (eventually) unused land tokens to donuts.
Don’t think, just buy. This is the best premium item offered with this event and if you can only get 1 thing…get this.
Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as a premium player, I already picked it up. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

Can I still get the GGR even though the quest is over?
Nope. But it may come back at some time.
Be warned: I saved on land tile as advised. With the new event more land opened up for unlocking. 12 new sections plus the one I saved were available to unlock. I used a prize token on a land tile and I got a message telling me I bought all available land and now my building will produce money instead of land tile from now on. How could this be if I still have 12 new sections to unlock?

OMG!.I just found the Golden Goose Realty by accident. I bought it immediately! I’ve searched and searched for ways to earn extra land tokens though right now, after this last event, I have enough land. But I would like to move things around so items aren’t so close together. Thank you, TSTO for this building. I’m thrilled and now, basically out of donuts – lol
This seems like probably the single most important game purchase to date. I would have spent REAL £££ if I had it, alas not within the timescale of availability so I’m donut farming round the clock. I know some of you can earn 150 donuts within 4 hours but I’m still on less than 300% bonus, anyway I’m at 97 donuts now about two thirds of the way there, should be able to make it, think I might actually cry if I don’t!!!
Wow!! 😮 Is all I can say… I’m kem farming religiously since finding out about Golden goose Reality!! (Yes I’m that player that spends them as soon as I get enough for a character & building combo) Thanks to you telling us … What a cool opportunity they’ve give us.. and I’m shocked it’s only 150 donuts.. they could of charged anything and I would of got it.. I’m even more shocked to find out we can convert them to donuts once we’ve saved up enough tiles.. so it’s definitely a no-brainer, a win win in all aspects.. Already bought, it was a no brainer.
A thought I just had. If you purchase all available land but leave just one square un-purchased, will you continue to accrue tokens over and above the one you need? The advantages of this are fairly obvious for stockpiling tokens for future expansions or conversion.
Yes. Obvious. And yet it has been covered from every possible angle. Bottom line… your call…use’em. Keep’em. No real solution until the next update reveals what happens next (does it reboot when more land is available).
Anyone getting glitch today Jan 12th. Did the daily task and homer is only one won’t end. Keeps showing doing the task. Collected the money for daily task. He’s froze. Shows black in a square. If this makes sense. Lol. I rebooted and logged in and out of game. Didn’t work. I’m also now screen shooting every time cause donuts seem to be not accurate. I’m a premium player.
Oh nice. Hope I can raise enough bonuts to buy before the 22nd. Seems like a rare deal that’ll pay off quickly.
Makes sense, spend 12 donuts to speed things up and get a Land Tile
Later, sell a Land Tile and get 12 donuts.
At least the exchange rate remains constant.
For me, this is a GAME and I’ll slog along. I need ~140 more tiles.
In ~70 days, I’ll have earned them. More likely3 whole months because I won’t always be Johnny-on-the-spot.
But, this is a GAME, and I’m having fun

Will the land tokens stop at the end of the event?
It seems to be a permanent addition.

If you don’t collect your land tile in the 12 hours, does it reset back to 12 hours and start again if you don’t tap it and not add the new tile? I checked and I have 11 hours 47 minutes left but I checked tiles total and don’t remember adding it. Guess I will need to pay more attention to the available tile number next time.
Im sure the clock doesn’t restart without you (or maybe a neighbor) tapping it.. You may have tapped without knowing it if you have a large tap radius from your IRS building. Pretty sure you can place it at your leisure, that’s why you can stockpile them by leaving at least one tile unpurchased. I will probably stockpile until I see what the next event is and decide where I to place new content.
I’m really lost about this one, it really seems to be a must buy but I don’t really know if it ill a good investment in my town…

I’m looking for advice if any one can help tech support wasn’t very helpful i got a new phone in August when I downloaded tapped put and on my old phone I was in the 40s I am back up to 26 I gave deleted my game and redownloaded 3 times since them I am currently level 26 but I can’t log in to ea games or connect to face book u registered my email today but it didn’t send the follow up email were I set up a profile or pass word so I have no friends or any way of getting them and I really don’t want to start over again any advice?
Hey, exact same thing happened to me, I lost mine a while back too.. nothing they advised via email worked.. so I phoned them .. and I phoned them, 4th call I got someone who knew what they were talking about and said they’d roll it back a day.. then I followed the steps they told me to do and I got it back and only lost a days progress.. at level 936 they’re was no way I was restarting.. I hope you get it back.. good luck..
Dumb question maybe but where can you see your inventory of land tiles?
If you click on a square as if to buy it, you’ll see your total. Then just cancel the purchase.
Best Buy Ever ! But the suspicious side of me wonders why EA went from famine to feast on land, and why they ever came up with the Unlock feature versus buying all for gazillions in cash in the first place. When i first saw this offer, i thought it only applied to the non-cash spaces, so seeing that it can be used for any type of land made my eyebrow go even higher (on the right side). I’ve noticed that EA has gotten more generous with donuts recently – 2 x 60s daily challenges recently earned 3 donuts, the Donut Factory, etc. I suppose it’s to help balance out the increased donut costs for buildings, characters et al but still …
Of course I forgot to mention that i’m going to have a great expanse of green space once I buy it all up …. as i’m going to hit the item limit max very soon.
I’ve seen people refer to this a couple of times, but what is the donut factory?
It’s the Playdough Factory where you play a mini-game of finding Maggie every 16 hours sitting on top of certain buildings (always the same set of buildings). After you find her three times, you get the chance to win 1-3 donuts.
The playdough factory is the playdough factory. What Bindi said for the donut factory.
The Donut Factory was a recent offer – buy 900 donuts and receive the Factory as a Bonus – it pays out 6 donuts every 24 hours.
Which is half the donut payout of GGR where 1 land token equals 12 donuts for a 24 hour payout of 24 donuts when you can redeem tiles for donuts

I think I can give a reason as to why EA went from Feast to Famine on land… During the Stonecutter; Clash Of Castles & Terwilliger events some years back, land was very scare. I didn’t buy any premium content in both my games @ that time as there was nowhere to put it! I read much the same from many players on this site. I complained to EA; As I’m sure many others did.
My thoughts are if they still want players to spend cash on donuts to buy premium content; Then they’d better provide the land to put such items. A lot of them have large sized footprints. Now all we need is increased item limits!

I’ve kept my Springfield on the small side. Have tons of land to still buy. Torn between buying and stockpiling the land tokens. They’ll come in hand eventually I guess. Anybody in the Midwest, stay safe with the snow storm. It’s started in St Louis.

I hesitated to buy it at first because I thought the land token per 12h was too good to be true and EA might patch it out to 1 token/12 days or something…but it really is a must buy

Surely they can’t patch it, If you payed with actual money and bought GGR and they went and changed what the thing you paid for does you could surely sue them if you wanted. you cant change what something you are selling does once bought surely?

This truly is a must buy to everyone regardless of level. I just purchased it in game for my niece and nephew as a gift as they just started playing over Christmas. I honestly can’t imagine a better purchase from the store.

This really is THE BEST addition to the game. I wanted to move my entire Krustyland three rows of land plots down which would have taken forever with just land tokens from events. Now, with the help of Golden Goose Realty and donuts, I could do it right away.
I didn’t think I bought! I am super happy with this!! Its a great looking building that earns land!! Plus I finally got my Springfield to 5 stars!! So it really was a great purchase for me!
